[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_07]: So last night I decided to pour a whole bottle of Evian on my phone on the bedside table and

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_07]: I was like, oh, maybe I should plug it in to see if it works

[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_07]: So yesterday he told me he was in software design of software and I was like try this then any bloody fix it

[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_07]: You're my hero

[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's make sure that we fulfill his writer

[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_07]: I forgot to tell him that not only will a few weeks ago

[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_07]: It actually got dropped in the toilet before and it survived that so it's fine with toilet water, but not Evian. It was clean

[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_07]: It's alright, but it was in my back pocket

[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_04]: What did you geek out on when you were a kid?

[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_07]: Right on automatically crystal not at not a not a hesitation not obsessed with fairies still believe in them

[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_07]: I know aliens exist. I see ghosts all the time. I feel like I live in ten different realities

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_07]: When I was a little girl growing up. I was like watch that movie. I was very awkward and

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_07]: not much has changed and

[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_07]: I felt happy when I was playing in a magical land with fairies and unicorns and dragons

[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_07]: And that's where I just existed and so dressing up and playing mate believe came

[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_07]: With that and mum said when I was a kid the doctors didn't know

[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_07]: They thought something was a bit odd. They couldn't quite put their finger on it. I'm like I'm an actress

[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Now what all makes sense

[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_07]: So and I blame it on my best friend Amy Harvey

[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_07]: And she's red hair with freckles still to this day and when my the nanny dropped us in it

[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_07]: The preschool or kindergarten or whatever it was I was losing it

[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_07]: She goes comes up and she goes up be your friend and then she walked me to the dress-up box

[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm like it's probably your fault that I'm an actress as well because I've never stopped dressing up and playing mate believe

[00:05:58] [SPEAKER_07]: It's been my happy place

[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_07]: And I don't know what we're doing on this funny little rock in the middle of nowhere

[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_07]: but if I can share some love and some light and some cool stories and

[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_07]: Something that's compelling something you've never seen before I'm all about it. Okay. Well, thank you for being here. That's all the questions

[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_07]: Best friends with Brian Henson. He's a Scorpio. I'm a Scorpio

[00:06:36] [SPEAKER_07]: We're just like there's there's other things going on like how do you when I got the audition and I saw the

[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Henson logo on this the script. I was like, oh my god and my mom's a big crazy hippie and

[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_07]: If you've seen any of my past stuff, you've probably heard this story before but she so mom and dad in their heyday

[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_07]: Entertainment entrepreneurs and they bought in Baryshnikov and Nureyev and the Bosch ballet and Cirque du Soleil and Marcel Marceau

[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_07]: and like old-school

[00:07:07] [SPEAKER_07]: Showbiz rock bands sports stars. So it was just always in our blood

[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_07]: But they had a tumultuous relationship

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_07]: So we always had nannies and they were very rarely there and they were just kids trying to run a business with a lot of other kids

[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_07]: And whatever so

[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_07]: When mom and dad broke up again

[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_07]: She went off and

[00:07:26] [SPEAKER_07]: Decided to be a hippie and she bought 250 acres on the Gold Coast

[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_07]: And she went like way down the spiritual like what life what is life all about and

[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_07]: We had chooks and

[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_07]: sheep and goats and cows and lots of snakes and

[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_07]: All that on the property and she would have deep at Chopra and

[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_07]: Hopi Indians dancing from dust till dawn and she'd wake me up in the middle of the night with the water sticks

[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_07]: And she'd be like let's go look for aliens. They're on the property. She'll be awesome mom

[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_07]: And then I'll fall asleep at school the next day. They're like what's wrong with you

[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_07]: I went looking for aliens with my mom. We couldn't find the portal. They're like go to the headmistress

[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm like, no, but I'm serious like it was just she would experiment on us

[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_07]: Like she would wrap us up in like when we had a cough or a

[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_07]: Sneeze she'd wrap us up in garlic and cod liver oil in what do you call it cling wrap? Yeah

[00:08:18] [SPEAKER_07]: So it's stink stink and she could just put your school uniform over the top

[00:08:23] [SPEAKER_07]: She'd hide ticks in our lunch like it went from like it was crazy

[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_07]: So when I got the audition for farscape

[00:08:30] [SPEAKER_07]: She goes oh, I know you're gonna get it because you've grown up with aliens your whole life

[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_07]: And then we got it so some weird stuff is going on

[00:08:40] [SPEAKER_07]: And it was only meant to be an episode

[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so like when I was researching you that was something that we had talked about and that

[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_05]: It was only supposed to be an episode and you like like basically took over the show

[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah

[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_05]: You were supposed to be on one episode and then you basically took over

[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah

[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_04]: 15 16

[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_07]: season 1 episode 15 that's what it was and

[00:09:15] [SPEAKER_07]: It will always be very precious to me Dirk returns because I

[00:09:20] [SPEAKER_07]: Love it and because that was meant to be the one and only

[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_07]: And I just got I was sharing a

[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_07]: Room with Captain craze

[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_07]: Go and tell him to be quiet

[00:09:39] [SPEAKER_04]: It's okay it's on camera for posterity

[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_07]: Thank you

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_07]: So I was sitting with Captain craze in his dressing room because we shared a room because we're both sort of day players at that point and

[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_07]: Script got delivered and they said oh it's for it's for Gigi

[00:09:56] [SPEAKER_07]: I went up the next episode though, and they were like

[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, and then we opened it and sat down so you can imagine craze and Chiana sitting on the little

[00:10:06] [SPEAKER_07]: couch

[00:10:07] [SPEAKER_07]: Going through the script and he's like oh you've got more lines. You've got lines in here

[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm like huh, so I caught up my agent. I was like oi

[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_07]: They want me for another episode and they go no it's just one and I went up

[00:10:20] [SPEAKER_07]: There's lines in this next episode. They were up crap better give them a call

[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_07]: So that's how sorry that's how I found out until they put me in the opening credits that I

[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_07]: Was hanging around and I didn't feel like I was taking over the show like even today. I'm so humble and so I

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_07]: was the new kid on on

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_07]: At school. I didn't know who to sit next to at the lunch room and the makeup looks really beautiful on screen

[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_07]: but

[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_07]: I was quite sort of not self-conscious, but well it was the whole process was quite nerve-wracking really

[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_07]: because um, yeah, they were a fair bit older than me and

[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_07]: But it was cool because that's what sheana was about to like she tried to hide it with all this bravado

[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_07]: But she was so lost. I was like oh perfect use it all

[00:11:10] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah

[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Because I mean your character did completely take over the show when she when she appeared because like

[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Like that through the beginning of it when you watch the first like 15 episodes. I've not ever heard that before

[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, my mind's like being blown right now

[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_04]: And it's like the kid like you had all the characters and everything and like I

[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Started gravitating towards like a some some of the characters on there

[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_04]: But then once you came on the whole dynamic changed

[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_07]: Cuz in my head I'm like

[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_05]: I also think that we it because we had 14 episodes with the like the main characters

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_05]: We had gotten so used to and really

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_05]: Lived with them right and so and then they brought you in and you were that chaotic element

[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_05]: Not only on the screen, but for them and it just it really shook the show up

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_05]: And it was just great because it was that young energy that kind of I'm a sidekick

[00:12:04] [SPEAKER_05]: But I'm not but I'm gonna do what I want and it was nice

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_05]: Especially yeah when you're younger and you see all this amazing stuff and you can really relate to

[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_05]: Your character because she comes on in the middle all this and it's like I

[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_05]: Don't know any of you and I don't really trust any of you

[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_07]: And she's just a loose cannon and they're the fun ones to play the ones that are messy and

[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_07]: Unraveled cuz I don't know about you guys, but there's that part in me

[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_07]: You know like sometimes I look at the new comic book

[00:12:35] [SPEAKER_07]: Movies and they're too perfect and I don't care if they die

[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_07]: And I don't really care if they get beaten up because I'm like

[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I can't connect with you because you're too heroic or something like you've got to have a bit of soul or a bit of vulnerability

[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_07]: Like I love Deadpool. I love Thor. I love you know what I mean because there's a bit more

[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_07]: They seem a bit more real to me

[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_07]: But but Shiana was very cool because if you look at her

[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_07]: She's just a complete

[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_07]: You know she's everything that's that she is has happened because she's never known love

[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, never known love. She's never known trust so she's just

[00:13:12] [SPEAKER_07]: Untamed and wild and she doesn't know how to like that's that that

[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_07]: Cool scene with Ben with Crichton where they go to do the kiss and he's like what are you doing?

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm like well, this is the only way I know how to thank you

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_07]: Right, it's so sad and the one person that she kind of was close to nary he disappeared too

[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_07]: And then there's that whole crazy arc with the clockwork and a bar in staff and oh, yeah, it's yeah, it's I'm getting goosebumps

[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_07]: She's bringing back memories. Yeah, she's and there is I go very deep when I play the role

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_07]: I'd like I I'm an alien

[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_07]: You know what I mean like I've convinced myself that we are going through the uncharted territories and

[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_07]: Right joy is my you know my partner in crime and let's frill. You know what I mean like this is awesome

[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_07]: It's like a big playground. Oh, yeah

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah

[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_07]: And everyone that was you know my idol growing up as a kid came to work on fast-gate and I'd be like oh my gosh

[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_07]: This is so cool like every day was like a fan girl day for you

[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, totally and I'm so like this I'm an open book and you have to tell me to shut up

[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_07]: I'll be like oh my name's you see

[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_07]: And they're like okay, can we work? I said oh, yeah, yeah

[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_04]: So I gotta ask you this because we're on like the same the topic of far escape already

[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Did you ever break character when brown brown brother called you peep?

[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_07]: No, well, no, well, I was I was tripped out by that because my nickname as a kid was pipsqueak

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_07]: Cuz I was so little I've always been kind of little and he goes okay, peep or something

[00:14:40] [SPEAKER_07]: I was like how did you know that that's my nickname and he goes on

[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_07]: I think I believe it had something to do with great expectations of the favorite traveling companion or something like that

[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_07]: Am I saying that correctly? So it was a complete other reason, but it's

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_07]: He picked up on that that tripping that's awesome

[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, cuz that was something I was like how pit like I understand like maybe if they called you jeej

[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_05]: But like you know I was like

[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_05]: None of those letters

[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_07]: He like because I don't know if you guys realize but he wrote John Coyote and

[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_07]: He said it, you know what do you want to be in it?

[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm like a fairy and he's like okay, and then I was like some weird clown looking thing clown pirate

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm like close it up. But what was cool is that we got to I was his I was the chicken it

[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_07]: You know I was like he must like me then because he's written me so big in his episode and

[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_07]: The other thing that I realized with that episode is that he's absolutely crazy

[00:15:41] [SPEAKER_07]: So like very he was the straightest on set for sure like we'd all go out partying and get crazy and all that

[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_07]: And you would never he was a typical beautiful American perfect superstar

[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_07]: We're like yeah, welcome to Australia

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_07]: Let's go crazy. He's like oh my god

[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_07]: And so when I read that script. I was like all you are a little cray-cray

[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_05]: You just hide it very well

[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_05]: That's awesome. So what did it feel like coming back when you guys were doing the peace people worse?

[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_07]: weird because I think it should have been something bigger weird because

[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_07]: We try to squeeze so much into it loved that we had something

[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_07]: Mind-blowing that it came from all you guys like I would think I was at a signing

[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_07]: Somewhere in America and this is in the early years just when fast gate was pulled and a fan came up and said oh

[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_07]: Congratulations, it's coming back. I was like no babe. I'm sorry. I wish it was too and they went I know it actually is

[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm like oh really?

[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_07]: So that's how I found out

[00:16:47] [SPEAKER_07]: So that was epic, but I wish we'd I wish I wish I hated the eyes

[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_07]: And I've been very honest with all the way with that like Chiana. That's how she gets you

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_07]: Fall into these big dark holes and I don't mind that I go blind. I love that

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_07]: Character art, but I didn't like these weird cat's eyes and staff them

[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_07]: The prosthetics I thought could have been

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_07]: That they look different to me in peace keep a wars so I've got a bit of a love-hate relationship

[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm not again being very honest. I just I want more and I want more than that

[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_05]: They could still do I mean you can you could offshoot it

[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_05]: I mean that's kind of the thing is you can there are so many characters connected

[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, so many character many series

[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_07]: So many and they were gonna bring it but they were taught that so rock Rocco

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_07]: Bannon called me up in

[00:17:41] [SPEAKER_07]: Before COVID and he's like you're not pregnant are you I'm like who is this?

[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_07]: And it's rocket because we need you I went shut up

[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_07]: Joking he's like yeah, it's gonna happen original cast members

[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_07]: Obviously there'll be some fresh, you know energy as well, but it's all the old gang coming back

[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_07]: I was like oh, I said if it's coming back on you being for real

[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_07]: We have to take it to the fans because I've been doing the in between different works

[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_07]: on Australian television and you know worked a bit

[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_07]: Sci-fi channel on the Jim Henson creature shop challenge and some other cool

[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_07]: Productions, I've been doing comic cons, you know pretty steadily for the last 20 25 years

[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_07]: And he said what would you recommend? I said San Diego comic con dragon con and there was a

[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_07]: promoter doing a reunion in New York called

[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_07]: called winter con so we had

[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_07]: Combination of Brian Henson Rockney myself

[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_07]: I'll say the character names Crichton Aaron Grazer

[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_07]: Grace Dargo all on a panel announcing that it's coming back and then the world shut down

[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_07]: It's heartbreaking it's and I still think that there's a possibility, but I don't know

[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_05]: What win and how you know I I think it's I mean I think it's time for a turn. I think I do

[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_05]: Developed that like was it just organic or did you go watch wolves or something? I mean

[00:20:20] [SPEAKER_07]: Wow, that's that's such a compliment of that. I love I'm all about wolves. Um

[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_07]: Where did I find she found me like I knew I'd never seen farscape before and I knew that

[00:21:05] [SPEAKER_07]: Creature shop they gave me fake teeth

[00:21:09] [SPEAKER_07]: It's on YouTube, but then I would dribble with them and I had a lisp and then I get rid of the teeth

[00:21:14] [SPEAKER_07]: They really like the the specificity that they put into every character

[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_07]: They died my mouth black with black food dye before each take

[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_07]: But then it started dying my teeth and they're like, okay stop that

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_07]: Then they would like Scorpius they gave him licorice before every take to make his mouth black like that like this show is amazing

[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so I

[00:21:35] [SPEAKER_07]: Wanted to be a creature and she for sure

[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_07]: Like the first time like when it's also, you know, you'll do

[00:21:45] [SPEAKER_07]: Rehearsal stuff like that, but you won't have your full costume on you have your body suit

[00:21:49] [SPEAKER_07]: You don't have your armor on yet. You don't have you got your gun or your comb or anything like that

[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_07]: So when you get all your gear on I said can I just have it like five minutes just to so I looked at this creature

[00:22:06] [SPEAKER_07]: But it definitely feels like a force from a spirit from somewhere else

[00:26:22] [SPEAKER_07]: And she's you know when this beautiful flowing outfit and whatever else and then as the song goes on I

[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_07]: Get covered in like this crazy UV light and it's like beautiful body paint and everything

[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_07]: And by the end she's a glowing avatar. So it's all about self love giving love out

[00:26:39] [SPEAKER_07]: So yeah, and it was all great a great idea at the time

[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_07]: And then we're like this is gonna be intense to shoot because you've got to get in and out in and out

[00:26:47] [SPEAKER_07]: You know the full we had to shoot it at night, but we had the amazing Lara chromium

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_07]: She came in and she body painted it all and it's all online. It's all on my website

[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_07]: And then during the lockdown from my sanity and also everyone around we did a twitch show

[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_07]: And I had no I'm the worst I break technical things quite clearly

[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_07]: Don't agree with me very well. So that was all part of the show too is like can she

[00:27:14] [SPEAKER_07]: Make it through one show without the mic, you know doing weird stuff or the cat taking a dump or God knows what right?

[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_07]: And sky was with me most of it as well and you know it was just mayhem, but that was all part of the silliness so

[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_07]: Record ourselves the twitch tribe and we're like oi do you want to do another music video?

[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you already did water so maybe

[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_07]: Do air I'm like that sounds great or train up on a real silk for three months

[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_07]: So a Lana came in again and she dressed me up as a drag and then this song was all about

[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_07]: Using the negativity in your life and putting it into something positive so similar kind of vibe but being a warrior

[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_07]: You know getting through it

[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_07]: So I trained up and I do not advise that it's extremely painful and highly dangerous and I

[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_07]: was like a I went to look at the

[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_07]: Studio and they go oh just to hire the studio was like five thousand for one day. I was like, oh my god

[00:28:11] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm gonna need help. I went back to the tribe and I went dudes. It's not gonna happen this and that they're like

[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_07]: Let's do a Kickstarter or Indiegogo so we did that and raised within like weeks, but great

[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_07]: So the night before I probably got maybe two hours sleep because we were still setting up

[00:41:32] [SPEAKER_07]: Gladly, that's why I can't stop talking and people walk away from the table. I'm like, no, I'm not done yet

[00:42:57] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't know what to do and I say to the dad. How do you deal with this?

[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_07]: He goes like what I was like breaks my heart every time she says she whatever mom and I was like

[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_07]: She's my I'm her I'm just obsessed by her everything every single thing I do is always the little one

[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_07]: Really focus on this feature film idea that I've had for for a while and I really want to nerd out on that

[00:43:33] [SPEAKER_07]: I just got to sit down and create it like I have lots of visuals and I have lots of

[00:43:48] [SPEAKER_07]: The latest project that I've been working on is called the edge of existence and it's a play on my last name edgely

[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_07]: And it's all about the weird and wonderful adventures because a lot of people I talked to I go

[00:44:00] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah, this happened. They're like shut up that doesn't happen. I'm like well it did

[00:44:05] [SPEAKER_07]: So you're not gonna know what's made up and what's real

[00:44:08] [SPEAKER_07]: Because we'll probably think you know the stuff that's made up vice versa. You know what I mean?

[00:44:12] [SPEAKER_07]: Like it's nah, it's it's it's very trippy my life

[00:44:16] [SPEAKER_07]: So I was like I gotta write about this so and skies in it and everything and so that's a graphic novel

[00:44:22] [SPEAKER_07]: We've written it. It's getting created by Santoris at the moment. So that should be out before

[00:44:27] [SPEAKER_07]: the end of the year the

[00:44:30] [SPEAKER_07]: Industry I've been doing it ever since like I've never had any other job

[00:44:35] [SPEAKER_07]: And I love it the reason why I fell in love was to tell beautiful stories and challenge people and myself and

[00:44:43] [SPEAKER_07]: You know bring love and light, but there's a very interesting underbelly to the industry

[00:44:48] [SPEAKER_07]: And it's very political when it's very you know, and I don't that's the bit that I'm not keen on so I was like well if I can

[00:44:55] [SPEAKER_07]: Stay true to my heart and soul and really focus on making my own productions

[00:45:01] [SPEAKER_07]: That's my next sort of journey

[00:45:03] [SPEAKER_07]: And if the next big job pops up or a fast escape or whatever I'll take it for sure

[00:45:07] [SPEAKER_07]: But if I can keep making my own little productions, that's what I'd like to be nerding out on because I've got some pretty cool stories to share with you

[00:45:36] [SPEAKER_00]: My partner had been multiple times before and said, you know, Gigi is

[00:45:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Really cool because she's actually like just a super nerd and she comes all the time and she loves it

[00:45:46] [SPEAKER_00]: And I saw that in the panels and you came to like the parties and we saw you walking around

[00:45:52] [SPEAKER_00]: That was just fully totally normal

[00:45:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think it's cool because that really comes through in your art and all the things that you do are like

[00:46:00] [SPEAKER_00]: As an artist but also as a fan of

[00:46:02] [SPEAKER_00]: fantasy and stories

[00:46:04] [SPEAKER_00]: But my I guess my question is like, how do you do that?

[00:46:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Because like, you know, you're going and it's your job. How do you like kind of disconnect? I imagine it's exhausting

[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_08]: I feel like I just

[00:46:17] [SPEAKER_07]: The one thing that I definitely miss

[00:46:20] [SPEAKER_07]: Even though dad and I are 50-50 years. I miss not being with my Baba all the time

[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_07]: That's the one thing that make me a bit blue

[00:46:28] [SPEAKER_07]: But it is what it is and you've still got to work and you know make dollars and all that kind of stuff

[00:46:33] [SPEAKER_07]: And also keep creating beautiful things. So I

[00:46:39] [SPEAKER_07]: Lots of hot yoga when I can I do I would like to get back into my fire spinning

[00:46:44] [SPEAKER_07]: I haven't done that in a while but you guys are like I said, you're my big family and ever since sky was born

[00:46:50] [SPEAKER_07]: She was on the circuit with me

[00:46:52] [SPEAKER_07]: She wasn't even a month old and we were on our way to London with her and the dad when we were still together

[00:46:57] [SPEAKER_07]: So there's a part of me that it breaks my heart that would

[00:47:01] [SPEAKER_07]: She's not on these adventures because what a cool

[00:47:04] [SPEAKER_07]: Way to grow up and I try to bring her on as many as possible. But you know

[00:47:11] [SPEAKER_07]: How do I do it the question love it's all I mean you guys are the best

[00:47:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, how do I like at a con? How do you go and do you know pictures and autographs and panels and then also just like enjoy

[00:47:30] [SPEAKER_07]: It really is and I say that from my heart and so like I'm so lucky

[00:48:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Make a character like that your own and unique and and special

[00:48:35] [SPEAKER_07]: She like if the description was just and I as I said before I'd not seen

[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_07]: Farscape so I didn't know what I was getting myself into other than I knew it was Henson's

[00:48:47] [SPEAKER_07]: anything you see of theirs is

[00:48:51] [SPEAKER_07]: Magical

[00:48:52] [SPEAKER_07]: and the characters are very deep and

[00:48:56] [SPEAKER_07]: You know not from this world

[00:48:58] [SPEAKER_07]: So when I went into the audition I was I think I was like 22 and

[00:49:04] [SPEAKER_07]: It was really my first I'd done a guest star on water rats

[00:49:08] [SPEAKER_07]: And I'd been a girl in the bikini on Paradise Beach that had won a competition

[00:49:12] [SPEAKER_07]: And I had three lines when I was younger, but my first body of work at all being

[00:49:18] [SPEAKER_07]: theater like and I

[00:49:20] [SPEAKER_07]: Missed that a lot too and I think Farscape is very theatrical in a whip it like it's

[00:49:25] [SPEAKER_07]: The characters are raw and organic and wild, but they're big

[00:49:30] [SPEAKER_07]: Like if you went in and just acted like you act on a note act on a normal series

[00:49:35] [SPEAKER_07]: get swallowed up as well

[00:49:37] [SPEAKER_07]: but

[00:49:39] [SPEAKER_07]: Sheanna the scene was

[00:49:41] [SPEAKER_07]: Extremely I remember it being she was very sexy

[00:49:44] [SPEAKER_07]: But then she was very dark and you had to cry in the scene and then you had to recover from that

[00:49:50] [SPEAKER_07]: And that's very hard to is when you've got a moat

[00:49:55] [SPEAKER_07]: Halfway through because you've got to find it and if you're nervous and you know

[00:49:58] [SPEAKER_07]: There's so many things that come into just coming up with tears like that as well

[00:50:02] [SPEAKER_07]: So when I walked into the

[00:50:05] [SPEAKER_07]: The room it's the guy's name was Andrew Prouse and he's not around but he's not in them

[00:50:12] [SPEAKER_07]: In the physical sense anymore and he he just looked he's such a hard man to impress and

[00:50:20] [SPEAKER_07]: You're terrified you know going in there and these beautiful girls

[00:50:24] [SPEAKER_07]: You know 15 girls that look prettier and clever more clever than you are sitting in the waiting room saying the same. It's terrifying

[00:50:31] [SPEAKER_07]: So I'm when I'm nervous, you know, hi, I'm cheesy. Hi. What's your star sign? Oh, hi

[00:50:36] [SPEAKER_07]: Now shut up. We're trying to prepare for the same so I walked in there and I said look

[00:50:40] [SPEAKER_07]: I know she's an alien. So how do you want me to show that because I just want to see if you can act

[00:50:44] [SPEAKER_07]: You

[00:50:46] [SPEAKER_07]: Terrify so I had like little weird things

[00:50:50] [SPEAKER_07]: But nothing to the extreme what you see because then she kept growing and growing because of the makeup and the makeup

[00:50:55] [SPEAKER_07]: Allowed me to do more crazy things and stuff

[00:50:58] [SPEAKER_07]: but I

[00:50:59] [SPEAKER_07]: After that walked out and I went I

[00:51:03] [SPEAKER_07]: Was devastated. I went I mucked it up. There's no way over here from them

[00:51:07] [SPEAKER_07]: What an idiot I am blah blah blah blah blah and then the phone rung

[00:51:11] [SPEAKER_07]: I was like what and when I was in winter con with

[00:51:16] [SPEAKER_07]: Rockney in December when we're doing a panel he goes when we saw Gigi's tape

[00:51:22] [SPEAKER_07]: That was it. There was no one that came close. I was like you could have told me that 25 years ago

[00:51:30] [SPEAKER_07]: Because it's very like I'm the game of the industry right and it's so trippy to me because you guys give so

[00:51:37] [SPEAKER_07]: So much and you're so loving and encouraging and adoring but I still you know

[00:51:42] [SPEAKER_07]: You still go home at the end of the night and go okay. I've got to be better at this

[00:51:45] [SPEAKER_07]: I've got to do more hard work. I've got it, you know, you want to like it's it's it's a it's a trippy circumstance

[00:51:51] [SPEAKER_07]: Kind of things so I'm so so appreciative but constantly striving to give you more cool things and

[00:52:01] [SPEAKER_07]: Tell more amazing stories because I feel like you get it a taste of the success and now you got to up it

[00:52:08] [SPEAKER_07]: You know because you guys you want to keep giving good stuff

[00:52:10] [SPEAKER_07]: Not just sitting and ride on or something that's happened many moons ago kind of thing. That was a very long answer for that
