Episode Summary
The nerd train has no brakes in Chapter 275 of Distance NERDing. This week the crew dives into massive Marvel news, DC news, movie news, and comic con chaos, including fresh details on the Vision Quest Marvel series, the new Lanterns HBO Max trailer, Metal Sonic in Sonic the Hedgehog 4, and Arnold Schwarzenegger returning for King Conan. Along the way the gang delivers wild theories, zombie exhaustion, accidental inappropriate names, and enough Green Lantern speculation to light up Oa itself. 🤖⚡
The crew debates whether Wanda is secretly still alive, questions James Cameron’s suspicious “cheaper Avatar technology,” and somehow turns Arnold Schwarzenegger fan updates into “ArnoldFans.” Meanwhile, zombie franchises continue shambling forward like immortal convention attendees after a 14-hour Saturday con floor shift.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, you have now stumbled into the worst kept secret on all the Internet. Ladies and gentlemen, you are now watching Distance Nerding.
[00:02:52] All right. Well, let's let's jump right into all of the things that we're doing here. James, tell everybody what we got on deck. We're going up front and Marvel's vision is getting clear. We're seeing some DC casting confirmations. Star Wars is looking towards the future in the Amazon. Can't see anyone getting in Reacher's way. I see what you did there. See what you did there. That's good. That's good. That's good. Of course.
[00:03:21] But before I jump into all that, let's talk about our sponsor. The guys we were hanging out with this weekend. Yes. Who's bringing this to these shows, James? Check out Colossus Girl Entertainment fan focused comic cons across the West Coast, including Beaver State Comic Con, Metal Ark, Anna Medford, Tri-Cities Powerhouse, Silver Age Comic Con, and of course, Gem State Comic Con, which just happened this past weekend. Comics, comics, cosplay, artists, vendors, celebrities. I'm trying to think who else was there.
[00:03:50] There was some craziness there. And more. Visit ColossusGirlENT.com. Plan your next Comic Con. I'm trying to think of the... Oh. Indeed. I guess J.R. was a vendor. J.R. is a vendor. I mean... The weirdest vendor. If you want to call J.R. a vendor. I mean... The drunkest vendor. Fabian was there. You know, Time Warped Toys. He had the coolest banner that was on his thing. Tubi was there.
[00:04:19] You know, the sword guy that was there. Real quick, shout out to Time Warped Toys and Collectibles, and shout out to WC Collectibles. They were awesome. They were amazing. They gave us a ton of stuff for the trivia and giveaways up in Boise, Idaho at Gem State Comic Con. They showered the attendees with gifts. So, shout out to Time Warped and WC Collectibles. That was awesome. Yeah. That was awesome. Absolutely was awesome. It was great in all the things that they got going on.
[00:04:48] So, with that being said, ladies and gentlemen, it is time for the news. Let's jump into the first segment we've got going on for today. It's time to get into... Straight from J. Jonah. J. Jonah. J. Jonah. That's right. J. Jonah. J. Jonah. J. Jonah. Alright, well ladies and gentlemen, starting it off today, Vision is uploading some teasers for us, and I think we're all very excited for it.
[00:05:17] According to Paul Bettany, the relationship between Vision and Ultron sits right at the center of the story. This new chapter follows the former Avenger as he tries to reconnect with his emotions and figure out who he really is. Along the way, he'll encounter several familiar AI characters from Marvel's history, including Ultron himself. Alongside Bettany and Spader, Vision Quest also stars Rue... Brida Malika as Tommy Maximoff. Sure. Tania Miller as Jocasta.
[00:05:47] James Darcy as Jarvis. Orla Brady as Friday. Emily Hampshire as Edith. Henry Lewis as Doom. D-U-M-E. Jonathan Sayer as you. Todd Stashwick as Paladin. And Farron Tahir as Raza. Vision Quest and the conclusion of WandaVision's trilogy is set to hit Disney Plus on October 14th. Guys, I need your thoughts.
[00:06:14] I'm just disappointed you didn't say that Henry Lewis was Doom! But okay. That was okay. That was okay. That was okay. But it's the wrong Doom, you know what I mean? Like, it's not... It's... It's... Yeah. No, it is more like Doom. It's more... Because it's more like Doom. Plus... Plus... It's not Doom! It's Doom. It's Doom. I'm... I'm interested in this. You know, when I first came out, I'm like, eh, I don't know about this. But the more I hear about this, the more interesting this gets.
[00:06:44] Like, seeing Paul Bettany's, you know, version of Vision, like speaking with Ultron, the James Spader, like Ultron. Like, I even heard that James Spader has like a big beard, you know? Because most of the show is happening in Vision's mind. So, I'm super interested to see what happens out of this. And I know this has been contained for the most part. Like, but now that we know it's going to end with a trilogy, what happens after that?
[00:07:12] Like, what kind of ramifications happen after, you know, this trilogy ends and to the Marvel universe? Right. Right. It is interesting to see what, like, what direction it's going to go in, kind of where it leaves everything. Uh, I'm excited to see if we get Wanda back in this. I know we're getting a, uh, a version that he's creating, but like the actual Wanda, she did not die at Wonder Gore. I'm just throwing that out there. There's no way that she died at Mount Wonder Gore. Yeah.
[00:07:43] Yeah. No, she, she survived worse. Yeah, absolutely. At large somewhere. Especially in the comics. Yeah, exactly. All right. Well, weirdly enough, that was our only Marvel, uh, thing that we got going on today. Usually we have a lot, right? But, uh, that was the only Marvel thing we got going on today. So let's go ahead. I'm sorry, Phil. I did really screw you over. It's okay. So let's, uh, let's go ahead and move on guys. Uh, and, uh, let's, let's talk about, you know, we're going to walk, go watch the Watchtower.
[00:08:12] Oh, Oh, we lost James. It's okay. Yeah. No, no, no, no, no, no. Great. All right. So in brightest day and blackest night, we have a new trailer in sight. DC studios just dropped a new trailer for lanterns. And it finally gives fans what they've been waiting for a proper look at how Jordan using his green lantern powers.
[00:08:37] The footage leans much harder into the comic, the cosmic side of the DCU while still keeping that gritty detective story vibe. Uh, there are flashes of energy constructs, a better look at the cosmic threat hanging over the story. And finally, a glimpse of Kyle Chandler suited up as green lantern, how Jordan, uh, we also get an appearance of Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner. Naturally. Uh, the trailer also confirms the story unfolds across two times line, two timelines. Excuse me. I can't talk.
[00:09:04] The first takes place in 2016, where Hal Jordan is still operating as Earth's green lantern. The second jumps ahead to 2026, where Aaron Pears, Jon Stewart appears to have stepped into a much larger role. Uh, in the 2016 storyline, Hal's investigating a shooting tied to something extraterrestrial. The problem is that no one around him really believes what he's uncovering, especially the local sheriff played by Kelly McDonald. Uh, around the same time, Jon Stewart is still a wicky green lantern who gets pulled into Hal's orbit and the mystery surrounding the case.
[00:09:35] Then things apparently spiral into something much stranger in the 2026 timeline. Uh, quote, that becomes a second mystery that we know is down in the world for us. Uh, Mundy, I'm not sure who Mundy is, hinted. Uh, so eventually two different mysteries get worked out over the course of the film. Uh, so yeah, this is, um, interesting, certainly. But I am glad we did get an actual proper green lantern look. And I am, of course, ready. So, you know, got mine.
[00:10:07] Yeah, I'm just throwing it out there. James, it sounds like, uh, like somebody's grinding a sword in the background. Yeah, you, you got like a grindstone going on back there. I know what's going on. Okay, that's, yeah. He, he, he muted it. All right. Uh, well, ladies and gentlemen, there's no option on the poll. Uh, no, I'm, I am excited for this. I feel like that trailer kind of gave us a whole hell of a lot more of what a lot of fans were looking for, what we were waiting for, uh, in, in the green lantern itself.
[00:10:36] There's a lot more green in it. Obviously you're seeing a lot more constructs, kind of seeing more of the story beats and things like that. Uh, seems like there's a whole dual story going on. Uh, we're definitely going to be seeing some of how as the green lantern, whereas, uh, you know, we're, we're going to be seeing even more going on with, uh, um, with Jon Stewart and kind of passing of the torch, things like that. I'm, I'm excited for that. I was already excited for this. I'm even more excited for it. And, uh, everyone complaining for it.
[00:11:06] Right. Yeah. Uh, but while everybody's sitting here complaining about the brown suit, shut up. Like none of you guys, all you people complaining about everything online, it's, it's, you guys are looking for a reason to be angry. You are looking for excuses to be pissed off. And, and honestly, it's dumb. Uh, James, you sound magical now. Hooray. Oh yeah. That's the right mic. Yeah. I'm, I'm totally excited for this. You know, what got me excited though, is that they're telling like two different stories,
[00:11:35] like everything we've seen so far with Hal Jordan trying to train Jon Stewart and giving him that like, okay, rookie, that kind of thing. All that's from like 10 years ago. Yeah. And then, so we're going to forward and jump into another story with already Jon Stewart as the, as the green lantern. Yeah. I'm excited. Yeah. I'm, I'm super excited for this. Cause I feel like this is, again, this is, this is going to be one of the best portrayals
[00:12:05] of the green lantern. And, and again, for all the people complaining online, it's, you guys are just looking for rage bait or you're looking for a reason to be angry. Um, right. Exactly. It's yeah. It's, it's dumb. Unnecessary. And again, green lantern was, uh, we're going to move on a second here, but green lantern was really what got me into the kind of comics side of the universe. Yeah. Um, or of, of nerdiness I should say. Yeah. Uh, and it's, yeah. So I, I love it. It's a dream come true. Yeah.
[00:12:35] Any, um, any quick theories about what the mysteries are? The two different. Well, we know there's the, the shooting, um, which I wonder if that's maybe how one of them gets the ring or something, but like they shot another green lantern. And so, uh, my own, my only issue with that. Yeah.
[00:13:00] My only issue with, with that, uh, is before how Jordan, there was no other, you know, there, there was no other, um, yeah. Right. Yeah. Yeah. You know, and, and I'm saying it could have been a green lantern from another sector or something, but I don't know. Unless they throw, maybe Alan Scott's in this, but you know what I think that that ranch that they go to where the mystery is happening.
[00:13:29] Cause Hal goes there with the sheriff. Hmm. Hmm. I think there's some alien shenanigans happening on that, on that ranch. Kind of like how in peacemaker there was like a group of aliens just kind of working behind the scenes, you know? Oh yeah. Taking over people's bodies, that sort of thing. I think it's going to be that. I mean, there's going to be like some little hive thing on that range. I mean, we know, do we know that Sinestro is going to be in this? Yes. Yes. They've, they are.
[00:13:57] So in that trailer, there is a, that you see the back of his head. So 100% cool. We are going to see there. We know that that's going to be part of it. So I wonder if one of those mysteries is connected to the, the yellow lanterns in some way. We don't know if, if Sinestro is a yellow lantern or not yet. He could be a green lantern and then throughout the course of the story could turn into a yellow lantern. So one of the rumors that I've seen online and, and I'm loving the idea of this and
[00:14:25] I'm, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to go into this or like, I'm going to lean into this one. Um, so the, with a character that they're, they're kind of dealing with is a guy named William Macon. Right. Uh, he, the, the character's name is William Macon. Uh, he is being played by Garrett Dillahunt. Uh, he's one of the ranch guys and everything like that.
[00:14:50] Um, I think, and again, that's, I can't take credit for this, for this one right here, but people were saying that William Macon is going to be William hand, AKA the black hand. Ooh. Okay. The black hand is a major character in darkest night. Yeah. Right. So I don't know if I'd want them to go all the way, like go immediately into blackest
[00:15:17] night, but I would love, I would, I'd be okay with it. Cause I mean, the story in this, I think is them establishing the green lantern core and everything like that. And we're probably going to get like, you know, we're going to get a Tomar Ray. We're going to get, you know, chip. I know James is, is, is excited to see chip. Uh, we'll probably see like Kilowog at some point, like in a scene, we're probably not going to see a lot of Kilowog or Tomar Ray, which are like, you know, the main dudes that how deals with. Right. Um, you know, we're, we'll probably see, uh, the guardians.
[00:15:47] And stuff like that, you know, and, and, and again, these are going to be like flashback scenes and everything like that. Establishing everything. Uh, I think this is going into by the end, the second half of the series, you know, it's going to be an explanation for the black hand. Yeah. Or at least it's, it's the awesome. I don't know. The seeds are getting planted. Right. Right. For something down the line. Right. Cause I think that we know enough about green lanterns, even like people who are, uh,
[00:16:15] casuals, you know, if you've seen the green lantern movie, you kind of have an idea of what the green lanterns are. You're establishing that kind of adding more to the lore in this. Um, and I think in adding more to the lore, this is a chance to be able to jump into that darkest night story. Like, I mean, we didn't think that we were going to be getting half the storylines that we're getting in, in, in the DC universe. That is a good point. Yeah.
[00:16:39] And they are very much leaning into, uh, a lot of the, uh, comic book storylines, you know? So that's kind of like, no, no, it'd be, it'd be awesome to get pockets. So fuck by the way, I'm going to end the poll. I asked in the chat, uh, if anybody was excited for lanterns, uh, it's a hundred percent right now. So I'm going to end it at that. Nice. Ended at a percent. Nobody needs to argue. Yes. Well, I mean, that's also everybody that's, that's listed in the chat right now voted. So there you go. Yeah.
[00:17:08] I mean, DT here is, is not, because it seems to be trepidatious, but I gotcha. So there we go. All right, cool. So let's, uh, yeah. Yeah. So lanterns will shine on HBO max August 16th of 2026. Uh, so yeah. So, all right. Holy confirmed casting Batman. Woo. Director Matt Reeves has flipped on the bat signal and a shining light on casting confirmations. The returning lineup includes Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne slash Batman.
[00:17:37] Uh, Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred, Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb, Gil Perez Abraham as Officer Martinez and Jamie Lawson as Bella Royale. But Reeves clearly wasn't finished. He went on to confirm that Scarlett Johansson has joined the Batman part two, finally validating reports that first surfaced back in December. He then announced the casting of Sebastian Stan, who is most likely playing Harvey Dent. Uh, next confirmation is game of Thrones alumni Charles dance joining the cast.
[00:18:06] Finally also made. Yes, exactly. Finally. He also made the surprise field that Sebastian Coke, I believe Coke. So try it, try it. Different way. Well, it is how you're supposed to pronounce it. Okay. All right. Uh, best known for the lives of others and Homeland has boarded the film. Uh, Brian Tyree Henry has also been announced. Uh, the biggest name still hanging in the air is Barry Keoghan, whose Joker appearance in the Batman left audiences wanting more.
[00:18:36] Uh, so yeah, what do we think these castings here? So I know, I know you have a lot of, uh, uh, you know, lineage in that area of the world, but he has gone on record and saying, said it's pronounced Keegan. Keegan. Yes. Keegan. That works. I did not know. Which is very Irish for, for it to look not. Yeah. Yeah. For it to look nothing. To pronounce it. Nothing. Like it looks like it's spelled. That is a very Irish thing. Yeah. I am. That's weird. Cause it looks like cock to me. When you say.
[00:19:07] Oh, you're talking about a different name. My bad. Not, not Mr. Cock. We're talking about. Barry Keegan. I have, I would like to formally apologize to, to, uh, Barry Keegan and all of my ancestors. Dan. And also, and also Sebastian. Hey, hey, hey, you keep that cock out your mouth. Okay. I'm sorry. Fuck. Is it actually cock or is it Coke? It's Coke. It's Coke. It's Coke.
[00:19:36] Jeez. Come on. It is a German name. And it is pronounced Coke. That's what I thought. Keep it perfect. I thought it was. No, it's nice that we have casting confirmation. We don't know the exact roles, but knowing that yes, we are getting Scarlett Johansson. Yes, we are getting Sebastian Stan and Charlie dance. Cool. Like we kind of figured out that they're going to play already, but let's, let's just keep the movie. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:20:07] Yeah. That's a pretty good cock in that movie. This film is set to begin shooting. We'll hit theaters on October the 1st of Troy. Uh, we definitely have him. Moving on. You know, the name of the episode tonight is just going to be inappropriate names. Oh, I, I, I, I've already written several things down already. Yeah. Yeah. The cock will be on screen. The cock will be on screen. Funny. Oh my goodness. All right. Well, ladies and gentlemen, that is it for our DC news.

[00:21:05] Ladies and gentlemen, let's move on here. It's time for John Mez to give us all the quick stuff. It's time for one shots. One shots for more news, trailers, reactions. Check out the distance nerding 10 post on Facebook. Let us know what you're nerding out on. All right. Let me dive into it. I need your boots, a throne, and a giant sword. Arnold Schwarzenegger has officially confirmed that King Conan is gearing up to begin filming next year, bringing the warrior back.
[00:21:35] To the big screen after 40 years. The actor told the Arnold fans. That's so great that he, he's like dropping exclusive news to his, to his Arnold fans. Right. Yeah. Is that like, is that like only fans, but it's like only Arnold. Only Arnold. Only Arnold. Only fans. Yeah. I mean, half of his, half of his films feel like an only fans post anyway. So like, I'm just saying you have to watch the Arnold fans. Yeah. It's only fans. I have.
[00:22:05] Yeah. Yeah. The, the, my fans. The, my fans. Let's start an Arnold fan. Anyway. He's got Arnold fans. Next year. This is what I told Arnold fans. Next year. We are going to do King Conan. So that is a reality, reality now. And I am excited about it. But he also confirmed that Christopher McQuarrie from mission impossible is attached to direct the film.
[00:22:29] So production is on track for 2027 with a likely theatrical release sometime in 2028. That is very exciting. Yeah. I like that. I I'm also like, I'm wondering what level of role he's going to have in it. Like he's, he's getting older. He's, he's even though he's still pretty, he's still pretty built. He's getting a little saggy. Yeah. You know, I dare you. The king. So I don't know the exact plot of it.
[00:22:58] But like, I don't, what I would not as involved. Yeah. What I would love, what I would love to see. And especially if you know, the King, uh, King Conan storyline from the comics, I'm, I'm okay with him being like the old benevolent King. He still carries a sword, but then you have that scene of him picking up the sword and just still wrecking people and showing that he, he, he's not slowed down, even though he's an older man. Yeah. He can still move. There's going to be some stunt doubles happening. Yeah.
[00:23:28] Well, yeah. Well, what's crazy is Arnold can still move. And the only reason we know this is because if you haven't seen a food bar on, on Netflix, which is his, uh, his show on Netflix, he still moves man. Like for a dude, his age, you know, he's he, he, and he does a lot of his own stunts for that show. Like God, man, how is he not broken? Yeah. All while having in his mouth. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:23:54] By the way, uh, Darren in the chat, King Conan was mentioned at the end credit of Conan, the destroyer, which is true. So this is like a sequel 40 years in the making. Right. Yeah. We're just waiting for him to, you know, have a baby age appropriate. I'm going to be the governor. Then I come back to Conan. Yeah. I have to be the governor first. The governor. Then I'm going to be king. Also, uh, James, I need you to reread what he told the Arnold fans. Uh, but in his voice.
[00:24:25] Uh, next year we are going to do King Conan. So that is like a reality now. And I am excited about it. Yeah. I, you know, him from a mission impossible in the, in the Tom and the cruise is attached to the Rex. In the Tom and the cruise. It was in the movie to get that. Yeah. Yeah. He likes to run. I pump iron. Yeah. I see. You see me now. I am. I am. I am the king.
[00:24:55] I am the king. I am. I am King. I'm King Conan. Yeah. You gotta let him get it out. You gotta let him get it out. You gotta let him get it out. That's what I want to be. All right. Let's get it. There's a new Scrooge coming to Hollywood. Sean Astin is stepping into the, his first starring role since taking on the SAG AFSRA presidency. And he's doing it with a modern spin on the most recognizable redemption story ever told
[00:25:23] titled Scruggs. Okay. The story takes inspiration from Charles Dickens' timeless tale, but leans into a more grounded, edgy tone. A ruthless real estate mogul named Edward Scruggs gets pulled into a supernatural journey on Christmas Eve, guided by three unforgettable spirits. No date when Scruggs will unwrap in two theaters. All right. Okay. All right, Sean.
[00:25:50] I'm hoping for more of like a Scrooge tone with this. Yeah. Okay. So here's my thing. I love Sean. I love Sean to death. Okay. Oh yeah. Especially cause now I've met him more than one. Friend of the show, Sean Astin. Friend of the show, Sean Astin. I've met him more than once. Okay. I love Sean. Here's the thing. It's hard for me to imagine him being a stingy asshole. Yeah. And I think part of it is because I know him. So it's like, right. And he's a good enough actor.
[00:26:19] I'm sure he could pull it off. Right. He's pulled off like, you know, like, like, like douchebag before. I mean, look at 50 first dates. Right. He pulled off douchebag really well in that movie. So good. Right. Yes. Really good, man. But like, I don't know. I think, I think the reason I can't picture it is because I know how nice he is in real life and because he doesn't typically pay, play mean characters. Well, I mean, we're kind of assuming he's, he's doing this Scrooge character. He might not be Scrooge.
[00:26:49] Maybe he's one of the ghosts. But I mean, it's, you never did. It's stepping into his first starring role since taking on. So I got sure. Well, yes. You would think the main character. Yeah. Yeah. Fine. Then he's going to be a dick. He's an actor. He's paying to, to do things. And I'm saying, I'm not saying he can't do it. I'm just saying it's hard for me to picture it. Right. Don't limit Sean. Just take away the lambus bread and he'll get mad. And then next thing you know, he's screwed. No, no, no. You take away his lemon cookies. There he goes.
[00:27:19] He was so upset that he's. Yeah. I would like to, I would like to point out. I made those. And he loved them. Oh, there you go. Yeah. Kept eating them. He was like, can somebody take these away? I'm good. Really, really good. That's funny. That's funny. Well, that's pretty cool. I mean, if anything, that's good. This is technically an indie film because I think the budget's low enough where it's considered an indie film. He's supporting indie projects, right? President of Zygastra. Good for him doing stuff.
[00:27:48] I didn't know he was the president of Zygastra. Yeah. Yes. I know the last time I talked to him, cause he was actually talking about coming on our show. Uh, the last time I talked to him, he was like, okay, uh, let's get together after, um, this campaign. This is before he got, he got the role. Uh, he was like, you know, because I've got so much going on while I'm trying to, you know, become the president of Zygastra. So he goes, uh, you know, he goes, once all that's like settled and done, then we can
[00:28:18] try and find a date for you to come out for me on the show. So I might have to go and hit him up and just be like, Hey man, how's it? How's it? Yeah. How's it being the president of SAG after man? Yeah. That'd be cool. Honestly. Why are you wasting our time? Why aren't you doing things? Like, Philippe, you know, come on. I don't want to hear about you playing video games. When Sean asked and staring at his phone, like, I wish Philippe would call me, you know, I wonder when Philippe's going to message. Huh? Okay. I guess not.
[00:28:48] He's just playing video games again. All right. Anyway, moving on. Baba Yaga has a Katana. Katana Baba Yaga. Katana. Katana Yaga Baba. Okay. I'm sorry. That is, that is, that is, that may be one of the best fucking transition lines you've ever written. That was great. There we go. That was me. Okay. All right. Okay. I'm taking credit for it. Yep. Take it.
[00:29:14] Reeves, as in Keanu Reeves, has officially signed on to voice the lead character in Hidari, a feature adaption of a filmmaker, Mahatma. Masashi. Masashi Kawamura. I believe. 2023 short film. The movie is inspired by the legend of Jinguro Hidari, a real historical figure from Japanese Edo period. Who's known as the architect sculptor and entertainer.
[00:29:43] How a Moro version takes the foundation and spins it into a revenge fueled samurai fantasy packed with mechanical prosthetics, sword fights, and handcrafted stop motion visuals. No release date yet for Hidari, but the short is out now on YouTube. That sounds cool. It. So I'll tell you this much. It's fucking amazing. And I say that with all the fucking in it because it is so cool.
[00:30:11] This is such a cool stop motion animated film. Go check this out. If you've got to pause the show and go check it out. I watched it. I was like, I might have to like stop the show production and and go watch this again because it was so cool. Go check this out. So it's Hidari. You can just Google it and it's it's up there right now. Again, it came out in 2023, but it's such a cool short. I'm a samurai now. Yeah. What's interesting though, like there wasn't a voice in the short.
[00:30:38] It was just all action, which is really cool action, but we'll see what they do with an actual film. Yeah. Pretty cool. I'm excited for it. I love anything that Keanu Reeves does just because he went from being like the funny guy to doing like, you know, a couple of little action films to now full on stage martial arts and I love that. You know, when you ask him like, oh, do you think you could beat anybody in a fight? Like, no, I can't beat anybody in a fight.
[00:31:08] I know how to stage fight. Right. I'm okay with it. It's coming out in real. Yeah. Yeah. But I mean, the shooting that he does is real because I watched videos of him training and all the training that he did for John Wick. That man really knows how to shoot. So he's good with the weapon, man. Yeah, that's cool. All right. Let's move on. This franchise is coming back to life.
[00:31:34] Kate Beckinsale has officially signed on to star in Twilight of the Dead, the long developing film that George A. Romero himself envisioned it as the closing chapter of his iconic zombie saga. The story is set in a decimated Earth where the last vestiges of humanity are trapped between the warring factions and an evolving undead threat.
[00:32:01] It'll be interesting to see how this movie balances Romero's classic social horror roots with modern zombie movie sensibilities. No date when Twilight of the Dead will rise into theaters. That man created the concept of zombies. So I know it's so crazy that it like the tradition is still going, not just in other zombie genre films or projects, but like his initial project is still going. Yeah.
[00:32:32] Yeah. I think that's cool. And he's still making films like 40, 50 years later. So I mean, it's, it's beautiful. Yeah. Too bad he doesn't own the rights to his first fucking movie. Right. Rude, but true. Like, how's he going to adapt? Cause now we got like running zombies and like zombies that are like rabid animals. Right. His zombies were just like slow walking. Yeah. The shuffler. Well, it does say evolving.
[00:33:01] Exactly. This'll be interesting. Yeah. That's what happens. Okay. Cool. This next story is metal. Yeah. A lot of Sonic the hedgehog for his attention has been focused on Amy Rose, who will be voiced by Kristen Bell. But we have a first look at metal Sonic from franchise director, Jeff Fowler metal Sonic looks like just another robotic version of our title friend, but we don't know if he
[00:33:30] will be speaking in the film or not. Ben Schwartz is back as Sonic. I wonder if Ben Schwartz is going to do like a metal Sonic voice. I mean, that's what that. So, okay. Fun fact. We, uh, the second time seeing Ryan Drummond, who's one of the original voices of Sonic. Um, yeah. And Ryan, he at least originated the one that everybody, uh, is familiar with now. So, I mean, there've been several actors who have played that character, but he's the
[00:33:57] one that created that voice and Ryan's, uh, Ryan's. Ryan was talking about when they first did metal Sonic in Sonic adventures. Uh, he said, uh, basically he recorded the voice and then they just put like a bunch of stuff over it. So he plays metal Sonic as well. That's probably why they haven't done any kind of like actor announcement for this. Yeah. Cause it might just be Ben Schwartz. It might just be Ben Schwartz because they already said Idris Elba is coming back. Keanu Reeves is coming back.
[00:34:27] James Mardson, Tika Sumner, uh, who else? Colleen O'Shaughnessy, uh, reprises her role. And of course, Jim Carrey's coming back. So like the major cast is coming back. So I think Ben Schwartz is going to be metal Sonic. I'm still waiting for, for, I'm still waiting for Jim Carrey to put on a fat suit. Yeah. I want him to be like legitimate Eggman. I love his portrayal of Dr. Eggman, but I want to see him as like fat Dr. Eggman. This may be it.
[00:34:55] Sonic the Hedgehog four runs into theaters March 19th, 2027. Gotta go fast. Gotta go. Gotta go fast. Uh, metal Sonic does look pretty fucking metal, man. Yeah. No, it's very, very cool. All right. Is James Cameron in too deep after years of pushing filmmaking technology to its limits?
[00:35:19] James Cameron might finally be ready to change the game for the Avatar franchise in a way fans probably didn't expect. Cameron told Empire Magazine, Avatar four and five are still floating out there. That's weird. Floating out there. We're looking at some new. Floating them too deep. Yeah. We're looking at some new technologies to try to do them more efficiently. They're hideously expensive and take a long time.
[00:35:46] I want to, I want to do them in half the time for two thirds the cost. That's my metric. And so it's going to take us a year or so to figure out how to do that. Interesting. That's kind of been his thing. Like I'm going to spend all the money in the world and no matter what I do, it's going to make billions of dollars. Right. I'm pretty sure that's Disney's whole model on that too. Here's what I hope this doesn't mean.
[00:36:15] Cause I suspect this could be the case. I hope this doesn't mean, Hey, we're going to go use AI now. It's what it kind of sounds like. Doesn't it? I didn't even think of that, but that's a really good point. Yeah. Because, Hey, we're looking at to cheaper and more efficiently. Yeah. That sounds like they're going to try to use AI. Doesn't it? I really hope. And maybe I'm just being paranoid, but like, kind of seems like that might be the case. That's, that's really good.
[00:36:40] It could also just mean we're going to try to like, you know, streamline the process a little bit more in terms of how we're doing all the CG visuals and stuff. I was reading about this. So I think the latest avatar did like $1.4 billion, which is like, great. That's amazing. Oh my God. It's a blockbuster. The other two did, did more money. So this is like the least money-making one, but I think it did, it was 500 million. So like one of the more expensive ones.
[00:37:08] So like I hear Disney's getting a little nervous because that more, it seems to be going down every time. And then on top of that, they're like, well, we're going to bet on, on avatar to be a thing. We're going to build parks and lands and rides. Don't ruin this by like tanking one movie, you know? Right. Yeah. I think he's under some pressure to, to figure something out with the budgets. Right. Yeah. Well, what does this mean?
[00:37:39] Fans should probably prepare for more waiting. Avatar four is currently dated currently for December 21st, 2029. But I mean, he said, he's going to take like a year to figure out new technology. So don't expect that date to hold. Yeah. All right. Well, or for us who don't really care that much about the avatar franchise. Cool. Hope it goes well. Honestly, I enjoy avatar. I think it's a fun ride.
[00:38:08] I have seen the first one. And that's it. So I'll see the other ones. Do I think it should be like the number one movie of all time kind of thing? No, kind of no, but no, it's very much. It's kind of the epitome of, oh, shiny. Yeah. I think it run away. Oh, piece of candy. Exactly. It's exactly what it is. Yeah. Yeah. It's exactly what it is. It was kind of a novelty. So. All right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:38:38] The cast of John Rambo just got a little bit more interesting. James Franco has officially joined the upcoming Rambo prequel alongside Noah Centineo, who's taking on the role of a younger John Rambo set before the events of first blood. John Rambo digs into the early years of the iconic character long before he became the haunted drifter audiences met in Stallone's original film.
[00:39:04] Franco's role is reportedly small, but he's playing the villain in the film. He joins a cast that also includes David Harbour as Rambo's commanding officer, Major Totrum. Troutman. Troutman. That's what I said. Yeah. Filming began in Thailand in January 2026 and is broadly expected to release in 2027. Oh, all right.
[00:39:31] It's it's John before special forces before, but obviously during Vietnam at some point because they're in Thailand. So yeah, maybe maybe James Franco plays a lady boy. We don't know. We don't know what's happening in this film. We're gonna have to watch it and find out. It'll be great. Yeah. Is just is a Sylvester Stallone involved in any way or is this just I believe he's an executive producer.
[00:39:59] Same way like he's been executive producer on all the on all of the. Yeah, I'm agreeing with I'm agreeing with DT then that yeah, that it is. Yeah, Stallone is it's gone kind of yeah, if he's right. He's on that that side of the road. No, he was an executive producer on the on the Rocky movies too. So like on on Creed and all the Creed movies and whatnot. Yeah. No more zombie news.
[00:40:29] Yeah. Zombies never say die. Hey, AMC has dropped the first trailer for the walking dead dead city season three. Yeah, and Manhattan is about to get even more chaotic. I do have a I can't believe this is still going on. Opsis this zombie show will never die. Synopsis can't believe this is still going on. Opsis this zombie show will never die.
[00:41:00] Synopsis synopsis. It really is never going to die. Walking Dead Dead City season three Maggie and Negan finally put their put aside their differences to build their first thriving community in Manhattan since the apocalypse. But when chaos in the city begins to arise, they are forced to question have they learned from their old wounds or will they will their dark past spell doom for the entire city.
[00:41:27] The next chapter in the zombie spinoff officially premieres July 26 on AMC. What is this like season 73 of some kind of walking? Basically, I do think it's really funny. There's like the shadow cinematic universe. It's just right under the surface. It's been going on for years now. Years. It's it's crazy to me. The Walking Dead started before I even joined the army. This is what I'm saying. Yeah, this is ridiculous.
[00:41:55] It's been been been a long, long, long time. This show just will not end. Yeah. Well, again, I think the show might be a zombie. Ah, yes. Yeah, so true. And you know what's funny is like we kind of don't talk about it very much, but it does have a ton of shows. So there's like the main show. There's the Rick and and Michonne show. There was fear of the walking dead. There's this dead city one.
[00:42:26] There's this Daryl Dixon one. There was another it and they all had like multiple seasons nuts. I feel like Yellowstone is trying to do the same thing right now. They are. We're trying to make their own kind of little shadow. So we're going to do all the different spin offs and shit. Yeah, it's I don't know. I wonder how many people are still still give a shit about this. But yeah. Yeah. Or Yellowstone when Yellowstone gets zombies. Then you know they're going to cross over at some point.
[00:42:54] We've jumped the maybe it's going to cross over with this next one. Oh, there you go. Trading in awkward geniuses for a sci fi chaos. HBO Max has released the first teaser trailer for Stuart Fails to Save the Universe. And instead of another grounded sitcom with nerds and relationships drama, this new series might blow that up. The show centers on comic shop owner Stuart Bloom,
[00:43:17] who somehow ends up triggering a reality shattering disaster after breaking a device created by Sheldon and Leonard. It's such a fun way to like mix up the Big Bang Theory. Yeah. Naturally, the fate of existence lands in the hands of the absolute least qualified people imaginable. The Big Bang Theory spinoff will have a 10 episode first season with new episodes rolling out on a weekly basis.
[00:43:46] Stuart Fails to Save the Universe is scheduled to premiere on HBO Max July 23rd, 2026. I'm very, very interested in this. Yeah. And I love Big Bang Theory because I mean, you know, some of the people in the scientific community were like, oh, they're making fun of us. Well, I mean, how many people became scientists because they love Big Bang Theory? Exactly. They're making it interesting. Right. Like, you know, you should show on that.
[00:44:10] But it's also showing that, you know, people with the type of like, you know, like a neurotic person like like Sheldon Cooper. Neurodivergent. Yeah. And he's he is neurodivergent 100 percent. But I'm just saying that was not mean that he's not neurotic. He is neurotic at the same time. Well, I mean, yeah, that's also also. Yeah. Yeah. That's what I'm saying. That's that's aside from the fact that he is 100 percent autistic. But I mean, like. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
[00:44:36] But I mean, like the whole thing with him is that he is a neurotic person. And because of that, like it shows that these people can still lead interesting lives, can still be very, very successful in what they do. And, you know, again, it is a very well done show. Very funny. I mean, it's making fun of nerds. But at the same time, it's like it's the kind of jokes that I kind of want. I want to be made fun of in that way. You know what I mean?
[00:45:02] I mean, I love the idea of taking like this whole thing said a grounded show and doing like a whole sci fi spinoff. Right. Right. Completely. Yeah. Especially with Stewart of all people. He's if not the second most awkward character on that show. You're right. That is so true. Stewart is a very awkward character. Out of a nerd show. Out of a nerd show. They sent him up to be like the ultimate nerd. Sorry.
[00:45:32] No, I'm going to say third most awkward character because the first five seasons Raj was the most awkward character. Yeah, that's funny. But no, it's yeah. I mean, you know, for whatever it's flaws, whatever it's, you know, criticism, you can level out it. And like sometimes the it gets a little sexist and a little whatever sometimes. But, you know, I think it did a lot for acceptance of of nerds and things, too.
[00:45:59] So I hope they run with this because it's not. Yeah, it's not on CBS. Yeah. Right. They don't have the same constraints. This is going what straight to HBO. Yeah. HBO Max. So they got a blossom to come back. I'm sorry. They got blossom to come back and because she was a real scientist in her field because they got they brought her to come on as a consultant to play a character. Yeah. Yeah. I like it.
[00:46:25] I hope they go crazy with it and just like lean into the the nuttiness of this show. The potential. Me, too. It'd be awesome. Yeah. This could be really good. Mm hmm. And Brian Posehn. That's going to be awesome. So I like it. All right. Speaking of HBO Max, welcome back to the White Lotus.
[00:46:44] Ben Kingsley and Max Minghella from the social network and Pekka Strang are rounding out the cast for HBO's The White Lotus season for the fourth season of the Mike White created series will follow a new group of White Lotus guests and employees over the span of a week taking place during the Cannes Film Festival. By the way, this is the creator Mike White.
[00:47:13] He was just on Survivor 50. He's been on Survivor before. He was he was like a just a regular contestant, you know, lost then went out and created White Lotus. And now everybody wants him. He came back for season 50 of Survivor. You guys watch the White Lotus? Oh, absolutely. I have not seen it. But again, if Freya was here, I'm sure she'd rave about it. Yeah, absolutely. You know what? I am. You know what?
[00:47:42] I'm just glad that that Trevor Slattery is getting work after the incident. You know, I'm just really glad he's still getting work. That's good. That's good. Ben Kings. God, I I'm so like, I want to know what he's going to do in this. Like what what like what type of role? Because at this point, if you've been watching White Lotus, you know, kind of like the the types of roles that they have on this on this show.
[00:48:08] You always have, you know, the vacationers who are like ignorant to everything. You always have like the one high strung person that needs to be on vacation and like something happens. You have the whole murder mystery behind everything that happens over the course of the show, the season. You know, you have somebody who you always have the person who is there that's like, you know, unwittingly doesn't know what's going on.
[00:48:31] You know, I I'm excited to see if Ben Kingsley is like someone who works at the White Lotus at the hotel. Like he's like a manager or something. Or if he's somebody who is like a guest. Yeah. Yeah. It'll be interesting to see. You know, Walter Goggins from Goggins Fallout and Gemstones. He was on last season. He was amazing. He was great. He's his.
[00:48:56] It's funny because White Lotus season three was going on about the same time that Fallout was happening. And you have two very, very different characters on screen because Walton Goggins in White Lotus, you know, he had this whole crazy backstory going on with his character. Right. And then, you know, Fallout, you go over to Fallout and he's just like a dude with no nose. That's just like, you know, a badass. So. And then he was on Righteous Gemstones.
[00:49:24] And then he's also doing Walmart commercials. It was the Walter Goggins show for two months. Walter. Walter Goggins. Not Walter. Walton. Write down the name of the show. You know, you know, just just call it Walter Goggins. I'm going to call you Walter. I'm going to call you Walter. I'm going to call you Walter Calkins. I'm going to call you Walter Calkins. That's what I'm going to call you. Oh, my God. Write that down. Write it down.
[00:49:54] Let's move on to the next story. It's making Anne Hathaway's wish come true. A series based on the 2004 cult classic fairy tale movie. Ella Enchanted is in the works at Disney Plus. The film star Anne Hathaway will be executive producing the potential series in the new story. A 16 year old Ella of Frel cursed at birth to obey every command is sent to boarding school after her mother's untimely death.
[00:50:22] She begins to uncover the truth about her curse building an unlikely found family and dealing with an extremely inconvenient crush on the prince of her kingdom. No date when the fairy tale begins again. How I like that. Okay. Yeah, I thought I saw this. I was gonna say that answers my question. I was gonna ask James how familiar he is with Ellen Janet because I've actually never seen it and it's not again.
[00:50:48] It's not it's not a I'm avoiding this or it's just I never had a chance to go and watch it because there's no I remember barely anything about it, but I know I thought so I had to have. Yeah, the the concept of it sounds interesting. So yeah, no, it's you know, that's yeah. Yeah, I was I was reading about this and somebody compared it to like, hey, isn't this what they're doing with Wednesday? You know how they sent Wednesday off to the Nevermore Academy or whatever it is like.
[00:51:16] Oh, yeah, kind of huh? So they were like, I think it's probably inspired by yeah, they're like, okay, interesting. They're probably more like, hey, this is this shows a hit. And we could probably capital. We have a character that's very similar. We could probably capitalize on this. Yeah, but no, it's cool though. That's less less goth Wednesday. Yeah, it's cool that she's part of this.
[00:51:43] I do think it's interesting because it what I think I looked at it was like a Paramount picture back in the day. So it's interesting that Disney's getting the rights for it. Yeah, that's interesting. All right. I thought it was always a Disney thing, but no, absolutely not. That's why it was called Ella, not Cinderella. Real quick. And I'm just we just need a yes or no on this Maverick in the chat is asking who dies in the boys.
[00:52:09] And that just kind of makes me want to ask, are you guys keeping up with the boys? I don't think I've seen the one. I think I'm one behind. Okay, because I am I am I am watching the boys. I know who dies. I'm not going to bring it up on here, but brutal, brutal. Just just you guys need you guys need to get on it and watch it. It's it almost makes me feel like a bus.
[00:52:38] Oh, God. Yeah, it almost makes me feel like there are still a lot of threads that have not been pulled yet. And I'm just I'm trying to see. I'm curious how they're going to stick the landing on the final episode. So anyways, let's let's let's move on to the next story. Otherwise, I will talk all night about the boys. All right. You should do a boys recap then. We should actually release it separately. Then we don't have to worry about spoilers and what. Okay, let me switch over to some prime video.
[00:53:08] You're legally required to watch this show. Prime video is sending another unexpected civilian into chaos. Jury duty is officially coming back for season three after a successful first two seasons. The docu comedy experiment is gearing up for another elaborate fake out. Have you guys seen the show before? I haven't. I watched part of season one in the part.
[00:53:34] So the part of season one that I watched, I thought it was hilarious because just the idea of the way that they did everything with that show. It's it's funny. It's it's a really funny concept. Like everybody watched. I was gonna say just for so should use to so you know how they're doing what they're doing with that. Everybody on the show is an actor except for one person. And the one person does not know that everybody there is.
[00:54:00] He knows that they know that they're act that they're actors because it's a base in L.A. Right. Yeah. So they're just like, oh, I'm like coming across these actors and like a real life scenario. But like every basically everything is staged in fake, but it's reality series style. So like the one person who's not an actor does not know that it's all fake. That's cool. That's funny. It's literally the Truman show. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:54:25] Everybody's acting around this one person and we're just watching what happens with this one person and all the stuff that's happening in the. That sounds like I would enjoy it. It's so the first scene is the first season is super funny, like binge like three episodes or so. And you'll get into it because, you know, they set up characters. They set up scenarios. It's great. Season one and season two were amazing. I love this show. It's one of the shows like I tell people like you need to go watch this and just sit down and enjoy it and then come back to me.
[00:54:55] And everybody that has done that has been like, oh, my God, jury duty is so funny. Like James Mardston plays himself in the first one in the first season as a as a juror. He's like, after James Mardston, he's like, you have James. I'm James Mardston. You need an autograph, you know, like total like him dialed up to like 12. It's great. And that's I think that's part of what I love about this show is, you know, like it's them playing very eccentric versions of themselves.
[00:55:25] It's so funny, man. It's great. It's great. So an official premiere date for jury duty season three has not yet been announced. Damn. I like that show. All right. All right. Next one. Prime is reaching or prime is reaching for another season.
[00:55:47] The streaming service has officially renewed the action series Reacher for season five before season four has even premiered based on Lee Child's bestselling Jack Reacher novels. The series stars Alan Richardson and the upcoming fourth season adapts Gone Tomorrow, the 13th novel in Child's long running book series. All right. Quick shout out real quick. Easy money with the $2 super chat. We appreciate that, man. Yeah. Thank you.
[00:56:17] Easy money. You are amazing. He said a good old Scotty summers. He's so he's so good in jury duty. If if you don't watch it for anything else, watch it for James Martin. He's so, so funny. And I really want to like share things, but like it would spoil the craziness that happened. So seriously, just go watch, go watch a couple of episodes and go from there.
[00:56:48] Yeah. Back to Reacher. All right. Are you guys excited for Reacher? Absolutely, man. I love the way that they've portrayed Reacher and just how good it has been so far. I'm a big fan of Reacher, man. I'm really ready for for more Reacher for for Alan Rich and especially especially after all the hygiene and and yeah, I'm glad that that everything got resolved there. Yeah. All the high jinks and craziness that's been happening since the last season. Like, oh, my God.
[00:57:18] Alan Rich is dealing with a lot of BS. And I think it's a lot of like people who are like, I really like the show. I just I don't know if I like him. Yeah, I hope I'm the opposite. I like both. Yeah, I'm only motorbikes. It'd be great. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I need I 100% need them to have him on a motorcycle in the next season.
[00:57:47] Because that would be a troll from Alan Rich and do just learn that Alan Rich and in real life is just Jack. This is what we've learned. Oh, absolutely. 100% the way he beat that dude's ass. He's 100% Alan Reacher in real life. That's Alan Reacher. That's that. No, that's good. That's Alan Reacher. Oh, let's see. Production on this season wrapped back in March and reach your season for is expected to premiere later this year on Amazon Prime Video.
[00:58:14] Yeah, I'm sure they were like season four is as good as anything we've been doing with them. And if if if the indicator that, you know, in the last three seasons has says anything, we are renewing for season five right now. Mm hmm. Mm hmm. I'm so happy. I'm glad they announced season five even before season four. Yeah. Like, yeah, just makes me want to watch more. All right. Well, it's time to get to the next segment here, ladies and gentlemen. Yes.
[00:58:40] But before that, we have our final little whole shout out here. That's right. Because this is learning is part of the Geek Freaks Network. Discovering your latest binge, debating casting choices are still not over that plot twist. Well, the Geek Freaks Network has got you covered. [00:59:10] Well, guys, let's get into the to this next segment here. It's time for the regular headlines. And I know James was already on the other screen. He didn't see the new title screen for for one shots. Congrats. Good job. Graphics team. Yeah. Working over the weekend. Actually, just real quick here, James. I'm going to go back just so you can see what that graphic looks like, because it looks awesome. Well, it is. It is very cool. I get a light. Typography. Look at the screen. There you go. All right.
[00:59:40] All right. That's very CNN of you. All right. I think that was exactly what we were going for there. All right. Let's let's get into this. All right. So, yeah, I got to go like three other pages. All right. The real question is, where is stack? Because we need to know these things. These things are things we need to know. Michael B. Jordan took the stage during Amazon's upfront presentation and gave fans a pretty exciting look at the future of the future of the show.
[01:00:08] Of his production company, Outlier Society. Instead of promoting a new acting role, Jordan stepped up to roll out three major series projects that are officially moving forward. The first project unveiled was The Greatest, a scripted series centered on legendary boxer Muhammad Ali. And I'll wait. Ooh. Cannot wait for that. That sounds awesome. The show marks the first authorized series about Ali's life created with the blessing of his estate, which already makes it a huge deal.
[01:00:38] Created by Ben Watkins, the story will chronicle Ali's journey beginning with his early days as Cassius Clay all the way through his rise as one of the most iconic athletes in the history of mankind. Jordan then shifted gears. Jordan then shifted gears to the expanding world of Creed with the reveal of Delphi, a new spinoff series he's developing alongside longtime collaborator Ryan Coogler.
[01:01:05] The actor reflected on the moment Coogler originally approached him about playing Adonis Creed years ago and how that collaboration evolved into building out an even larger universe tied to the franchise. Jordan confirmed that Delphi officially begins production in Los Angeles on May 18th and brought out showrunner Marco Ramirez to help introduce the project. Oh, that's interesting. I know, right?
[01:01:31] I guess showrunner, no mention of the executive producer on this one. The final announcement was one fantasy fans was one fantasy fans have been waiting for Amazon to officially order. They've ordered the TV adaptation of fourth wing. There it is. Yep. This is this is a big deal. Based on Rebecca Yaros is massively successful romantic novel.
[01:01:57] The project has been in the works for a while after outlier society secured the rights to the Empyrean book series before the first novel was even released in 2023. Damn, we get a Muhammad Ali drama, a Creed universe expansion and one of the hottest fantasy properties around. Prime video is clearly betting on Jordan and outlier society. It's funny. I know, right? Super hot. Guys, thoughts?
[01:02:27] Cool. Well, I didn't realize that they could do like a Creed spinoff, but that's pretty cool that it's going to be. Yeah, with Ryan Kruger involved. Yeah, it's going to be like a series. Right. It's a spinoff of a spinoff. It's great. Exactly. Yeah, exactly. No, I'm not. Yeah, the Muhammad Ali thing sounds very, very cool. Yeah. And then yeah, I'm not familiar.
[01:02:56] I'm I am familiar with fourth wing and concept, but I have not read it. And I'll tell you why it's a big deal. Generally, not my what? Well, it's a big deal. Well, my wife has read fourth wing. That's I know a lot of people. Yeah, I know a lot of people who who really enjoy it. When I told her that. Oh, yeah. Michael B. Jordan is going to be doing like a fourth wing show or series something. She's like, oh, she's like, are you serious? That's awesome. Like she got all excited.
[01:03:24] There's a lot of, you know, a lot of older nerds that get kind of. You just call my wife. It's good. Yes. Well, I assume. Yeah, you're just assuming things about people. Well, I'm a wow. I know you, James. This is the thing. It's a trap. Don't try to Sebastian cock me. All right. Okay. Look, no one's trying to cock me.
[01:03:54] Hey, does I don't I you know, I don't think I've watched the second the third Creed. But why is there a show called Delphi? Do we know that yet? So where I and I'm sure she do like will will will corroborate with me on this. So Adonis Creed named after a Greek God Delphi, you know, the Oracle of Delphi. So I'm sure it has something to do with that along those lines. And you're in the kind of like ancient Greek theming to it. Right.
[01:04:24] Yeah. No, that's cool. Or or or given that the entire film series takes place around Philadelphia, that Philadelphia is supposed to be a allegory for new Delphi. So yeah. Yeah. Okay. So it could be something along those lines to do. Yeah. Michael B. Jordan winning Oscars and then his production company outlier society is going crazy doing all these shows and killing it.
[01:04:52] Yeah, it's gonna be interesting. So yeah, I'm I'm I'm excited for all that stuff. I love everything Michael B. Jordan does. And yeah, you know, he's a great actor. He is a he's really good at production. He goes all in on everything that he does. I really do wish all of the success for Michael B. Jordan and every project he does. Yeah, definitely. And Prime Video has them all. Exactly. Bring it on. Bring it. Bring it on. All right. Well, let's let's move on here.
[01:05:21] Can Anakin bring balance back to Disney? A new report claims that Hayden Christensen is lined up for at least two more Star Wars projects, which means fans may be seeing a lot more of both Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader in the years ahead. According to industry insider Daniel Reitman. How do we become you Daniel Reitman? Uh, Christensen is expected to return for multiple upcoming projects as Anakin or Vader. Christensen has obviously loved stepping back into the role.
[01:05:50] And after seeing how effective he was in the Soka, it's easy to see why Lucasfilm would want more. There are two more projects he will appear in on top of a Soka season two until then. I know. Right. And they haven't announced which ones they are. So until then Star Wars Mandalorian and Grogu will debut in theaters May 22nd, 2026. That is this weekend, ladies and gentlemen. And I want everybody's takes on the movie because I'm excited to go see it. Yeah, me too. I think we go Sunday.
[01:06:21] I think I might also go Sunday. So as long as we're not doing anything because we're having a party on Saturday. So there you go. There you go. I'll see when I can go. But yeah, no, I'm very excited about it. Speaking of just want to keep moving on here. Yeah. Nice. Nice transition. Thank you for transitioning me there, little buddy. I appreciate that. Sorry. No, you're welcome. Big Phil. Yeah. All right.
[01:06:49] From a galaxy far, far, far, even farther away. During Disney's upfront presentation, Rosario Dawson confirmed that season two of the Star Wars series won't premiere on Disney Plus until early 2027. A lot of fans assume Lucasfilm was aiming for a 2026 release. Apparently. Oh, what did we get there? Oh, we got. Hold on. Got another super chat. Before I continue here. Let me put that on screen. Basically, if you get.
[01:07:19] And here's the thing, guys. If you do a super chat. Easy money. Hey, Annie. Are you okay? Are you okay, Annie? Easy money. How much easy money do you have? Hey, I like me some easy money. That's good. Easy money. By the way, real quick. While he's talking about Anakin Skywalker, I do like how they're embracing Hayden Christensen. He was really, I was going to say trepidatious. Is that a word I can actually say? I didn't know you knew words that big.
[01:07:49] Me neither. To come back as Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader. But I think the way Filoni treats the prequels, his love for the prequels and then bringing Hayden back. I think Hayden's completely on board. Oh, yeah. I think he's like, let's do whatever you want to do. Dave, I'm in. Well, I mean, there was a lot of redemption to Anakin's character in the Clone Wars. So it's just kind of like now we're getting, you know, more of Hayden Christensen.
[01:08:17] And I love that, you know, Hayden, Hayden played the original Anakin Skywalker. The voice actor, I'm trying to remember who was it, James. I know you know who the voice actor is. Like, I don't remember what his name is. I know what you're talking about. He was actually in The Man, the Lorraine. He was on the prison ship. He was. So the actor who plays Anakin Skywalker in the show based his performance on Hayden Christensen.
[01:08:40] And Hayden Christensen watched the Clone Wars to reorient the way that he plays the character to be more like the version that was in the cartoon. That's like, that is such a cool way to kind of like, you know, like round robin that character. Yeah. Matt Lantner. Matt Lantner played. Matt Lantner. Yeah. Matt Lantner. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So I got to finish this. So apparently the force had other plans.
[01:09:07] The good news is that the next chapter sounds like it's going much bigger in scale. According to series creator and Lucasfilm boss, Dave Filoni, one legendary Star Wars character is finally entering the fight. Oh, I'm excited. Okay. He's going head to head with Grand Admiral Thrawn, which we already know. Filoni said while confirming the return of Admiral Ackbar. It's a trap.
[01:09:32] Dawson also teased what fans can expect from the new season saying the season this season, the battles are bigger and the stakes are higher. Did we also mention Star Wars Mandalorian and Grogu will debut in theaters May 22nd, 2026. Yeah. I think we know what's coming. Yeah. I'm excited for that because you know what we haven't seen? Like we were getting some good lightsaber battles with all the different shows, but we haven't seen some good like, like fight scenes, like space fighting scenes, like starfighter.
[01:10:03] Starfighter. Starfighter. Space battles. Yeah. Dog fights and whatnot. Now, like we get a little bit of that in Mandalorian, but I'm excited for some, some big epic space battles. Yeah. It's again, it's great, man. It's great to hear kind of just the direction that they're going in.
[01:10:22] We got older Ackbar in the sequel trilogy, but like seeing, you know, another kind of like same age Admiral Ackbar fighting against Grand Admiral Thrawn. I mean, I mean, just imagine that, that scene. And I mean, we know that Admiral Ackbar is going to survive that because he doesn't die until the sequel trilogy. Right. Right. But it's like, you know, this, that is going to be a dope scene.
[01:10:51] Like I'm, I'm sure ships are going to go down. Oh yeah. Yeah. You know, you have two of the greatest strategic minds in star Wars, right? Yeah. Grand Admiral Thrawn and Admiral Ackbar again, hands down. One of the best strategists that the, that the rebellion had. Yeah. It'll be a battle of wits. It's yeah. I love it. Yeah. It's going to, it's going to be interesting to see kind of like how they outthink each other.
[01:11:20] I'm going to watch the show while I'm doing it. It's going to be amazing. He's a shrimp. He's a shrimp. Uh, uh, with that being said, that's right. He's calamari. He's, he's a squid. He's a long calamari. With, uh, with that being said, Mandalorian and Grogu hits theaters, May 22nd. Yes. Yeah. Hey, when does man? No. Yeah. Mandalorian and Grogu will debut in theaters, May 22nd, 2026.
[01:11:50] Yeah. Uh, speaking of Mandalorian and Grogu. Mandalorian and Grogu again, May 26. Uh, 22nd. Sorry. Um, this is the way, even if it wasn't what you originally intended. Uh, we originally expected the Mandalorian to continue its story on Disney plus with the fourth season, but instead Lucasfilm shifted gears and turn the next chapter into the big screen adventure of the Mandalorian and Grogu.
[01:12:16] According to Jon Favreau, that change also meant adjusting how deeply connected the story would be, uh, to the larger star Wars TV universe. So while speaking in London about the upcoming film, Favreau explained that the original version of the Mandalorian in season four was much more intertwined with the growing storyline involving Admiral Grant, Grand Admiral Thrawn and the future of Ahsoka. But once the project evolved into a theatrical film, the creative approach changed. Uh, Favreau said, I'm not sure.
[01:12:46] To what extent it affected Ahsoka season two, you'd have to ask Filoni how, uh, because he's been very closely in step with what we're doing. Favreau explained that television storytelling gave him more room to weave all those moving story parts together, uh, over time. Something that becomes much trickier when you're crafting a theatrical release designed to reach a broader audience. Favreau makes it clear that Dave Filoni remains heavily involved and that the larger mythological
[01:13:16] mythology is still very much in motion. So even if the movie tells a more standalone story, it sounds like the connective tissue between all those projects is still intact. The Mandalorian and Grogu hits theaters on God, I forgot what day it was. May 22nd, while Ahsoka season two is currently expected to arrive sometime in 2027. I like it. I like it. Another name for the episode. I'm still...
[01:13:45] Yeah. When does Mandalorian and Grogu drop? May 22nd. May 22nd. No, no, no. I'm still a little, uh, like... I still think that the whole... The whole making it a movie was a kind of split second corporate decision. I'm not sure if I agree with it still, but... You know, I'm curious to see where this is going.
[01:14:15] I'm hoping that it won't take anything away from the story that was trying to be told. Um... It being a two-hour movie as opposed to a season. Um... So... Yeah. You know, I'm... I'm... As you said earlier, James, I'm a little trepidatious. But... Yeah. Uh... I'm... I'm curious. And so... And I... It sounds like they kind of, uh... John Favreau at least, kind of changed the approach once it got turned into a movie.
[01:14:43] So that gives me a little bit more confidence in, uh... You know, that it could be... Could be better. Could actually... Um... You know, it isn't just going to feel like, hey, we've squished an entire season into two hours. Right. Mm-hmm. So, my take on it, I... Yeah. And I kind of have the same feelings you had. Some trepidation. But what... I think it's going to be... I think it's going to be a more stripped-down version.
[01:15:10] I think the story's going to be a lot more basic and a lot more like, okay, so what do you know of Mandalorian? Okay, he is a bounty hunter. He has Grogu that's cute. He wants to be a good guy and work the rebellion. He wants to take out, you know, bad guys and maybe the Empire, that sort of thing. I think it's going to be that. I don't think it's going to be digging deeper into a lot of things.
[01:15:35] There may be some connective tissue, but it's pretty much going to be like a, hey, this story, we need to appeal to everybody, especially kids. There's going to be big explosions and a lot of, you know, baby Yoda running around. I think it's going to be a lot of... Yeah. This is the plot line and it's going to be really quick and tight that gets us to a point. And then they can tell future stories. Yeah. Asoka season two, whatever else. Yeah. Yeah. I can see that. Yeah. I agree.
[01:16:04] So... Yeah. And... When does this come out? Oh my God. What day does this come out? Yeah. Yeah. Uh, well, before we find out, uh, for the first time when it comes out, um, we have one more story that is also related. All of these were Star Wars. Okay. Uh, well let's, let's talk, you know, another story here. I'm really just stretching so I can get that on the screen. All right. Yep. And there we go. Yeah.
[01:16:34] No, I already got it there. A foundling, a baby and a Padawan. Oh my. Why? Wow. Speaking about the upcoming film director, Jon Favreau teased that he's already thinking far beyond this, uh, next adventure, especially when it comes to where Grogu story is headed in the larger Star Wars universe. Creatively. I have a lot of plans and I have a lot of thoughts about these characters, especially for Grogu. Grogu is a character that is, well, his species lives for centuries.
[01:17:03] He's on a path to be both a Jedi and a Mandalorian. He's making certain choices and decisions, and he has a greater teacher now. And so as he develops and. Sorry. What did you just do? All right. Uh, so as he develops and grows, there's opportunities for stories that would emanate from that. Yeah, man. Don't, don't change stuff as I'm reading him and come on. I was just trying to. I was just trying to. There's implications.
[01:17:32] I'm trying to do something else and I click something else. It's like you just went like and deleted the paragraph as I was reading it. I'm just trying to. I'm just trying to do something else. It's on the wrong cap. Did you? Yes, this is not a scripted show. All right. Yeah. There's implications that he may have crossed paths with Yoda because he does recognize the name is what we imply.
[01:17:54] And he also was there at the Jedi temple before Order 66 between surviving the fall of the Jedi order and training with Luke Skywalker. There's a lot packed into the little guys past and Lucasfilm still hasn't fully explored. Mando and Grogu. What? Go ahead. I was going to say, this is what I'm talking about. I think they're going to get through Mando and Grogu and it's going to be a fun family type film. Well, big explosion summer blockbuster. Get it.
[01:18:22] But then they have bigger plans for Grogu. Bigger plans for Mandalorian to tell more deep Star Wars stories. Yeah. No, I agree with that. What what I want is in because we know they're going to do a new Jedi order movie at some point, hopefully. Um, or things kind of after the, uh, after the sequel trilogy. Uh, if that is still canon, of course, which I think it is.
[01:18:50] Um, I want Grogu to appear at that point as well, but as a, you know, as more towards an adult. Uh, and he's Mandalore. Like he is the Mandalore. Now he kind of takes on a, a Tar Vizsla kind of almost reincarnation of Tar Vizsla kind of situation. The only issue with that is Mandalorians are somewhat militant about who is considered Mandalore.
[01:19:18] And usually it has to be someone of pure Mandalorian descent. Uh, usually found, but I'm saying it could be Mandalore. Right. Well, that could be part of the story is them learning to accept different kinds of people. And, you know, people that are not necessarily like pure blooded humans or Mandalorians or whatever into their culture, like to accept foundlings more.
[01:19:40] Um, and I mean, the only part of the journey, the only person who the only, the only person who has broken that norm. And I, and, and this is where I feel like, you know, this is where they're going to be more leery about it was, uh, was Darth Maul. And because, yeah, no, that's a good point. Right. And because of the way that Maul treated it, it's like, we really should not let outsiders be Mandalore.
[01:20:07] Yeah. But again, it, it, it is also like, he also wasn't a foundling. He didn't write exactly. It's like, you know, I think Grogu will come to be accepted as a Mandalorian. And so, and also a Jedi. And so again, it is that kind of like, we're going to bring back Tar Vizsla. We're going to do this whole, it's like, it's like hiring somebody that's, um, never been a politician to be the president of the United States or something like that.
[01:20:34] You know, I mean, look, I'm not saying that Grogu is, no, no, Grogu is not, let's not, no, no, let's, let's give him more credit than that. He is, even as a baby, he is smarter than, I will be the greatest Mandalore ever. Even as a guy, I'm a great guy. I'm going to be the greatest Mandalore. The first word, the first word out of Grogu's mouth. Sad. Another cock choke. No.
[01:21:02] Oh, I know. I said to myself, those are the biggest ears I've ever seen. Oh my gosh. The ears on this guy. Nobody's got bigger ears than me. He can probably hear the galaxy. When 900 years old you reach, look as good you will not. That's good. That's good. That's a good one. I like it. I like it a lot. Okay. Mando and Grogu. It's in theater sometime next week. Hey, when does Mando and Grogu come out?
[01:21:30] Yeah. Mandalorian Grogu comes out sometime next week. All right. So just go and watch it. But that may not, that, that, that may just be the beginning. We may be getting a crap ton more of Grogu and I'm, I'm all for it. As long as he's not, you know, emulating a certain president. That is, that is it for the regular news. We're going to move on to the last segment of the show here.
[01:21:53] Um, so, uh, yeah, let's, let's jump into this last segment guys. You want to do it? You want me to do it? You want Shadu to do it? Uh, either way, you guys can do it. I'll, sure. I'll do it. Why not? Sure. You gotta be decisive. Gotta be decisive. The bidding has ended. GameStop CEO Ryan Cohen took a massive swing when he made a move to acquire online marketplace
[01:22:23] giant eBay earlier this month, but the company has officially slammed the door on the proposal in spectacular fashion. On May 3rd, GameStop submitted, Damn it, Phil. That's not me. GameStop submitted an unsolicited non-bidding offer to acquire eBay for $125 per share and a deal valued at roughly $55.5 billion. The problem? Almost nobody seemed convinced the deal could actually happen. Now eBay's board of directors has made its position clear.
[01:22:51] In a statement released Tuesday, the company announced that after conducting a thorough review, it had rejected the proposal outright. eBay chairman, Prel Pressler, was harsh in his response. In a letter addressed directly to Cohen, he wrote, quote, we have concluded, and I would like the rest of the quote, please. We have concluded that your proposal is neither credible nor attractive. So, sorry, GameStop. Your auction has now ended.
[01:23:21] It's funny. You know what this almost feels like? And this is, I'm laughing because of like... It feels like an attack on me? Yes. No, no, no, no. You know what this almost feels like is somebody like... Okay, so this is like me going to GameStop and saying, hey, you should let me own the company for like $20. Yeah, exactly. And then GameStop going like, dude, you're a fucking idiot. Shut the fuck up and go away. It's just like random people. It's just like... Like what?
[01:23:48] It is random poor guy saying, I'm going to buy your company. And then company saying, no, you're not. The hell away from me. It just feels like eBay or whoever... GameStop? No, no, GameStop. Yeah, yeah, sorry. GameStop. Was like, hey, all these companies are merging now. You know, that seems to be like a really popular thing. Let's jump on that trend. That's what it feels like. It feels like the history teacher or something at your high school.
[01:24:18] People trying to be cool. Yeah. Like by trying to use, you know, internet slang or putting memes in their slideshows or something, but not understanding what the actual deal is. Yeah. Yeah, that's funny. Yeah. When this was first announced and we talked about it like last week or the week before, I'm like, this feels really weird. It feels like it has no legs. I don't understand what's happening here. Yeah. But now that I see eBay's response, it feels like such like a cheap marketing ploy.
[01:24:48] It feels like it has even fewer legs. Yeah. It feels like a cheap marketing ploy by GameStop's CEO to be like, hey, come look at us. We're cool. Remember? Remember how cool we were when everybody bought our stock and screwed up the stock market? Hey, we're that cool company. Help us buy eBay. You know, that sort of thing. Yeah. I don't know. I just thought it was weird. Very uncool GameStop.
[01:25:12] I think this is just like, again, this is just like really a ploy of GameStop saying, hey, we're gonna, you know, we, we, we, honestly, now that I'm thinking about it as I'm going to go say this, I think it's more just them trying to stay relevant. Yeah. That's what I'm saying. That's exactly what I was trying to say. Yeah. Like, yeah. Yeah. He's all, hey, eBay, I'll buy you for 55 billion. No cap, bro. They've seen that all these bigger companies are doing. They're like, well, we have to do it too. Yeah.
[01:25:42] Yeah. No cap, eBay. I'll buy it. Again, this big company shouldn't be doing it either. Don't take my thing as an endorsement of that. That's terrible. They shouldn't be doing that. Monopolies are bad regardless. Right. But it does, it is kind of funny. Like I said, the, the, the, the vibe of this, like 100% the vibes on this is, hey, I'm a normal guy. You know, I've got, I've got like $50 to my name. I'm going to buy your multi-billion dollar company. It's hilarious.
[01:26:12] It's very, very funny. With what money? Sure. With my 50 bucks. I got it. What other kind of money am I going to buy with? I got a dollar. Yeah. You saying my money's not good? Cold hard cash. You saying my money's not good, man? Like, yeah, your money is not good. Not here. Hey, hey, if I traded some games for, how would you feel? It turns, you know what? How about this? How about this? How about this? eBay, eBay.
[01:26:41] We'll, we'll trade. We'll make a trade. Uh, you can, you can give us your website and we will give you a 10% of it. We could, a 10th of the value for it and a copy of Red Dead Redemption 2. Um, for the, you know, we, we, we will make a trade. Uh, you know, you give us your website and we will give you a 10th of the value of it that, you know what? Oh my God. Oh my God. I just, it just dawned on me right now. They just tried to GameStop eBay.
[01:27:11] Oh yeah. That's exactly what they did. They just tried to GameStop eBay. They were like, Hey, you know, it works for people when they come in and try to resell games to us. We give them 10% of what the games were. That's exactly what they did. You're right. That's amazing. That's so funny. They just tried to GameStop eBay. Holy shit. GameStop. It only works in your stores. It only works in your store. Well, eBay is in their store. It is. It is.
[01:27:38] eBay is in their stores, but I'm just saying like, you know, that strategy only works in your store and we do it because it's like, huh? What else am I going to do? I'm going to throw it away. Okay. Give me the 10%. Oh, wait. What's cartoon saying in the chat? Uh, GameStop only went for the buyout because the CEO wanted to take as much debt as possible because he has an incentive cash out for 35 billion for reaching a market cap. Holy shit. Ooh. Yeah.
[01:28:07] Well, remember, he doesn't take a salary, right? He doesn't have like the salary or like, okay. So, okay. But the followup right here, his plan was to get as rich as possible and run. Both companies to the ground. And that, that is, that is such a shitty corporate fucking strategy, but it's 100% what they do. Yeah. But you know what's scary is that it works. Look at Warner brothers and David Zaslav run into the ground and get it to a point where
[01:28:35] people will buy the assets and then get in and get out. Oh yeah. It is literally stripping them for parts. Cartoonie is giving us all the shit right now. Okay. So this is a quote from Cohen right here. Yeah. That could mean a massive payday for Cohen. A new compensation deal would give him up to 35 billion in stock. If certain milestones, milestones were met, including a $100 billion valuation valuation for the company. And that's from the wall street. Ooh. Wow. Yeah.
[01:29:03] That's he's trying to Zaslav GameStop, bro. That's what he's trying to Zaslav this shit. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, Zaslav could do it. Yeah, but he's smarter than you. Yeah. As, as with everything, it always comes back to capitalism. So glad we've got that greedy shit bags. It's really a mystery. Uh huh. Greedy shit bags. And GameStop trying to GameStop fucking eBay. That shit is hilarious. GameStop is trying to game the system.
[01:29:30] That's so funny because I remember when we talked about this a couple of weeks ago, we were like, oh, that's kind of cool that he doesn't take a salary. That's pretty noble of him. No, it turns out he's a jerk bag. No, he's an evil son of a bitch like the rest of us. He doesn't take a salary so then that way he can go and make a shit ton of money on a fucking stock scheme on the back end. Exactly. So anyway, so yeah. So conclusion of all this is Distance Durning is officially putting in its bid for eBay.
[01:29:59] Um, so, uh, yeah, we'll, we'll give you $50. I'll even turn it up. $100. $100. Yeah. $100. That is, that is two times what we were going to, to, to give you. Actually, you know what? Yeah. Actually, you know what? I'm actually going to offer to buy GameStop. Right. And say, hey, hey, a hundred dollars. And you will not take a salary. Exactly. Yeah. A hundred dollars. Best offer. Take it or leave it. A hundred dollars. And a coupon to Red Lobster.
[01:30:28] A coupon to Red Lobster. A few. Hey, hey, hey. And I'll give you store credit for a fucking controller. All right. Make it out. Yeah. Done. Sold. All right. Well, ladies and gentlemen, let's, uh, let's, let's, let's, let's move away from all this shit. Cause it's just ridiculous. Yeah. Let's do it. Uh, let's talk about our schedule. Let's talk about our schedule. Ladies and gentlemen, distance nerding from six 30 to eight 30. The show you are watching right now. We talk about all the news, all the fun things, everything that is going on in the industry,
[01:30:56] including, uh, failed schemes to buy, uh, to buy eBay from GameStop. Wait, hold on. We're, we're about to get bought out. Breaking news. Oh, five dollars. Yeah. Yeah. We, we, we, we can't beat that. Cartoony. Yeah. Put it in the bed for $5 to buy out the podcast. So it's on the table. I got $5 to my name and I'm ready to take over the podcast. Cartoony is going to buy my podcast. There we go.
[01:31:25] That's what we're going to do here. All right. Yeah. Uh, James, after, after the show, we're going to have to have a serious meeting about whether Cartoony is going to buy us out or not. We'll meet it. We'll all meet at GameStop. We're going to meet at GameStop. We're going to have a, we're going to buy some stuff off eBay. Exactly. We'll do a contract signing over at GameStop. Yeah. Very fucking solid. That's absolutely. Anyway. The girls. Yes.
[01:31:51] Ladies and gentlemen, Thursday, uh, distance starting interviews from six to 8 PM this week. We're going to be talking with Matt Stevens. Matt Stevens has a, uh, wonderful, uh, book that is also a, uh, a tabletop game. Uh, really cool concept. I love, we've been talking to a lot of, uh, people who are kind of like, you know, uh, doing comics that are also tabletop games. The, the, the whole thing is called, uh, Panopticon.
[01:32:20] Uh, yeah. And it's a, uh, uh, it's described as V for vendetta meets silo. Surveillance is mandatory, a sci-fi comic exploring the price of loyalty and the cost of escape. Ooh, that sounds cool. I know. Uh, it's, and, and just like the trailer for it is like really cool and all that. So, um, definitely, definitely a cool project. We're going to be talking with him on Thursday. Uh, we are also going to be doing on the back, uh, half of the show. Uh, we'll also be doing, uh, the geek end update on, on Thursday.
[01:32:50] So we'll be talking about, um, uh, the, the fun that we had at gem state this weekend, uh, as well as moving forward in two weeks, uh, we'll be over at beaver state comic con, having a whole bunch of fun with, uh, uh, with all, with everybody at that show. So it's going to be a good time guys. All right. Awesome. All right. Uh, she do. You got plug. She do go. Uh, then on Fridays. Yeah. Well, I mean, on Fridays we'll see we're on the buzzer.
[01:33:17] So we never got to that. So, um, we, we might be doing D and D I don't know. We'll see. I hope we are, but we'll see if everybody's available. So buzzer might be D and D might be, um, either Jeff nerdy or well, really, or something. I probably went up for well, really done by then, but it'll be something to none Friday. It's always fun. Uh, and for my plugables, I am, uh, at, uh, SHU studios everywhere for my music. It is at SHU music.
[01:33:46] I talk about lore, world building, writing, and pretty much everything else. I mentioned, uh, that we do D and D, uh, on this channel on the buzzer. And if you want, uh, the edited, uh, VODs with music, um, and sometimes sound effects, but at least some intros and stuff. Uh, those are up on my channel right now. Uh, another one will be hopefully coming out tomorrow. I need to edit it. Um, but yeah, there'll be another one tomorrow, uh, that will round us out. So, oh yeah. Oh, DM. What?
[01:34:16] Yeah. Through Mac. I'm going to roll to scratch my ass. Okay. Okay. All right. I got, uh, I think that's not 20 scratch my ass. DM. Oh, all right. Well, no, you see that that would require magic. So, um, I don't think I could reach through the screen and do that. Um, my ass itches. It may have been, I may not have wiped it right, but that's, that's. How much do you grab that ring? Cause maybe you can reach through the screen.
[01:34:45] I mean, it, it, it could have also been the thorn bush that you, uh, you slept on last night. So, you know, well, it's a thing. My ass is, my ass itches. Tiefling! Where the fuck is the Tiefling at, huh? I know that's traditional your culture. I still don't think a thorn bush is a good idea. I'm just saying. Uh, all right.
