[00:03:00] It is, yeah.

[00:03:01] Like the real world with five-year-olds.

[00:03:04] That sounds absolutely horrifying.

[00:03:32] It's like you're complaining, but you're here.

[00:03:33] Because he's at work and he doesn't want to have to watch at work.

[00:03:36] Well, I mean, that's just on him.

[00:04:08] You are now watching the download.

[00:04:23] I feel like I notice new things in that intro every time.

[00:04:30] I know, right?

[00:04:31] You watched the intro.

[00:04:32] What?

[00:04:33] I mean, it's amazing.

[00:04:35] I mean, I've seen it a lot.

[00:04:37] Liam, did you notice that it went from a picture to now being a high death gift?

[00:04:42] Yeah.

[00:04:43] Cool.

[00:04:44] Yeah.

[00:04:45] Graphics department stepping it up again.

[00:04:55] Can we smell the potatoes from here?

[00:04:58] Yes, we can.

[00:04:59] I'm ready for some French fries.

[00:05:01] I'm ready for some French fries that graveyard is not going to eat.

[00:05:04] Lights, camera, reaction.

[00:05:07] My glories back.

[00:05:09] My glory.

[00:05:10] My glory.

[00:05:11] My glory.

[00:05:12] The way you said that just reminded me of just one thing.

[00:05:17] My spoon is too big.

[00:05:23] Early, early internet memes.

[00:05:25] All right.

[00:05:26] Stoughton rumors.

[00:05:28] Another Venom movie coming.

[00:05:30] Yes, it is.

[00:05:32] Yeah.

[00:05:34] Somewhat excited about this one.

[00:05:36] Toxic movie.

[00:05:37] I mean, yeah.

[00:05:38] I'm actually somewhat excited for this one.

[00:05:40] I know, right?

[00:05:46] I like my Big Macs.

[00:05:47] Christie.

[00:05:48] What?

[00:05:49] I like Big Macs and I don't and I cannot lie.

[00:05:52] You other brothers can't.

[00:05:53] Christie, that's right.

[00:05:55] What do you mean you brothers?

[00:05:56] What do you mean?

[00:05:57] Other brothers.

[00:05:58] What do you mean you other brothers?

[00:06:01] How can people don't quote that more?

[00:06:04] Because parts of that are don't hold up even though that means amazing.

[00:06:09] So I mean, like what's what's funny because actually Robert Downey Jr.

[00:06:12] talks about how much it doesn't hold up, but he doesn't regret it.

[00:06:14] So it's like.

[00:06:17] But anyways from there, ladies and gentlemen, before we jump into the

[00:06:21] rest of the show and before I forget to do it.

[00:10:56] like channel it into like positive nerd energy.

[00:10:59] It's going to be great.

[00:11:00] So what do you know, I think it's funny that you guys

[00:11:03] think that my nervous energy is not positive.

[00:11:06] I have a lot of positive nervous energy.

[00:11:08] I have.

[00:11:09] I'm just saying that I have anti nausea pills if you want

[00:11:12] those.

[00:11:27] I'm so excited for you guys.

[00:11:28] That's going to be amazing.

[00:11:29] Colin Baker, the 6th Doctor.

[00:11:32] Oh my God, that'll be awesome as well.

[00:11:34] Gigi Edgeley.

[00:11:35] Oh, do we just doing the research on these guests

[00:11:38] that we have and you know, making the interview

[00:11:40] questions?

[00:11:41] You learn so much about them.

[00:11:42] Yeah.

[00:11:43] Like I didn't know Gigi did a ton of music, but

[00:11:45] she does a ton of like, like almost electronic

[00:11:47] dance music too.

[00:11:48] It's so cool.

[00:11:49] I'm so jealous you guys get to hang out with

[00:11:51] her.

[00:11:52] Clem So who's been in Skyfall and Guardians of

[00:11:55] the Galaxy?

[00:11:56] Doctor Strange, solo Jurassic Park.

[00:11:58] Fantastic Beasts.

[00:11:59] Oh my gosh.

[00:12:00] Think about the franchises.

[00:12:01] Yeah.

[00:12:02] He's been in.

[00:12:03] I know your franchises.

[00:12:04] He's got to have so many stories.

[00:12:07] And he was in Doctor Who as well.

[00:12:09] Oh, it's crazy.

[00:12:11] So much.

[00:12:12] Brian A. Prince from The Predator is going

[00:12:14] to be there.

[00:12:15] Spencer Wilding from Star Wars and Game

[00:12:17] of Thrones.

[00:12:18] And Dungeons and Dragons.

[00:12:19] And Dungeons and Dragons.

[00:12:20] Yeah.

[00:12:21] He played Gorg.

[00:12:22] Gorg.

[00:12:23] And then he sleeps.

[00:12:24] New best friend and filling out his Asian quota.

[00:12:28] Ming Chen is going to be there from Comic Book Man.

[00:12:31] Did you see his interview with Dave yesterday?

[00:12:34] No, I missed it.

[00:12:35] I actually reposted it on our story.

[00:12:38] But I guess apparently Ming Chen is good friends

[00:12:41] with Gigi Edgeley.

[00:12:42] And that's how he got involved with this.

[00:12:44] Oh, that's awesome.

[00:12:45] That's banana boat bonkers.

[00:12:48] That's cool.

[00:12:50] Maybe she'll go hang out.

[00:12:51] That would be cool too.

[00:12:52] Throwing axes or throwing fire?

[00:12:55] I don't know what you guys are doing, but...

[00:12:57] Throwing fire.

[00:12:58] I feel like karaoke.

[00:12:59] I think that's where you really see who people are.

[00:13:02] And that's what he wants to do too.

[00:13:04] He wants to do some karaoke.

[00:13:05] Axe karaoke.

[00:13:07] That's going to be great.

[00:13:08] No, because I can't be around sharp objects.

[00:13:11] We've had this conversation.

[00:13:12] It's like Wild West frontier karaoke.

[00:13:16] Throwing axes and karaoke.

[00:13:18] I'm down.

[00:13:19] Let's do it.

[00:13:20] Tony Oliver from Robotech is going to be there.

[00:13:24] And Naruto.

[00:13:25] He's in Naruto.

[00:13:26] They say Robotech and he was Reconner,

[00:13:29] but Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

[00:13:31] He's so involved in that.

[00:13:33] That's one of those things where it's like we're doing the questions

[00:13:36] and doing the research.

[00:13:37] We're like, oh my gosh, this guy's career is amazing.

[00:13:40] We wouldn't have the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

[00:13:44] that we know and love without him.

[00:13:46] I know.

[00:13:47] You could probably talk to the entire panel about Power Rangers

[00:13:50] by itself or Robotech or Naruto.

[00:13:53] Oh my God, it's going to be awesome.

[00:13:55] He was in Akira, guys.

[00:13:57] He was in Akira.

[00:13:58] That's right.

[00:13:59] He was in Akira.

[00:14:00] That's another big one, which is funny because I just made

[00:14:02] an Akira reference the other day.

[00:14:03] Just like randomly made an Akira reference the other day.

[00:14:05] And then we're doing the research and it's like, oh shit,

[00:14:08] he was in Akira.

[00:14:09] Look at that.

[00:14:10] Look at that.

[00:14:11] And then also a good friend of the show,

[00:14:13] Marie Westbrook from Jujutsu Kaizen and Cyberpunk Edge Runners

[00:14:16] and Star Wars The Old Republic will be there as well.

[00:14:19] She's so nice.

[00:14:20] Should do super jealous.

[00:14:22] I am.

[00:14:23] Oh, and Geek Saga on Instagram wants everyone to know that also

[00:14:27] Eugene Lazos from Geek Saga is going to be there as well.

[00:14:30] That guy?

[00:14:31] Who?

[00:14:32] Eugene?

[00:14:33] Who?

[00:14:34] Please keep the axes away from him.

[00:14:37] Well, I mean he's an MP, so.

[00:14:39] Yeah, he wouldn't know what to do with him.

[00:14:41] He wouldn't know what to do with it.

[00:14:42] He'd drop it on his foot.

[00:14:45] That was so romantic.

[00:14:47] Oh my goodness.

[00:14:49] Shout out to Eugene.

[00:14:51] He's a good dude.

[00:14:52] Good dude.

[00:14:53] Yeah, love you bro.

[00:14:54] And then so Gemste Comical, all those celebrities are going to be there.

[00:14:58] Plus like two cosplay shows hosted by Ming Chen are going to be happening.

[00:15:03] Right.

[00:15:04] How cool is that?

[00:15:05] And then there's artists and merch and vendors and you know,

[00:15:08] we're going to have a table giving away free stuff.

[00:15:10] So come hang out.

[00:15:11] This is going to be amazing.

[00:15:13] Again, April 6th and 7th, Expo Idaho in Boise, Gemste Comicon.

[00:15:17] Going to be amazing.

[00:15:18] Check out gemstecomicon.com for all the tickets,

[00:15:23] the various autograph packages and photo ops packages you can get.

[00:15:27] Oh my gosh.

[00:15:28] So cool.

[00:15:29] So what I love about that is like,

[00:15:30] I think they just released more of the Samwise Ganji packages.

[00:15:34] So you can go get it autographed and you're guaranteed that autograph.

[00:15:37] And you get to go check out, you know, Sean asked how cool is that?

[00:15:41] Yeah, it's so cool.

[00:15:42] Sean asked it.

[00:15:43] I'm like, I mean, I'm going to tell you guys a secret.

[00:15:46] Don't tell anybody else. Okay.

[00:15:48] He was my first crush.

[00:15:50] Me too. Me too.

[00:15:53] Cause Goonies, like I was a huge Goonies fan.

[00:15:57] Like he's only a couple of years older than me.

[00:15:59] Nobody looked it up, but he's only a couple of years older than me.

[00:16:03] And like, yeah, I was like, you know,

[00:16:06] Josh Brolin was way too pretty and older.

[00:16:09] But yeah, I love my keep from Goonies.

[00:16:12] And so I'm like this, like telling myself over and over again,

[00:16:15] do not tell Sean Astin this, do not tell Sean Astin this.

[00:16:18] He doesn't need to know this.

[00:16:20] Why would you tell him that?

[00:16:21] Do not tell Sean Astin this.

[00:16:23] He probably would have.

[00:16:24] We'll see what happens.

[00:16:25] He's probably flattered if anything.

[00:16:26] Exactly.

[00:16:27] He'd probably appreciate it because he probably never got the teenage

[00:16:30] heartthrob on the cover of beat magazine.

[00:16:33] You know, Tiger beat magazine.

[00:16:34] Yeah. Tiger beat magazine.

[00:16:36] But I may or may not have had a subscription to.

[00:16:39] Why am I not surprised?

[00:16:42] Go find those.

[00:16:43] Where are those issues as we speak?

[00:16:45] My long-thrown way.

[00:16:47] They're in a basement.

[00:16:48] They are definitely issues.

[00:16:50] All right, don't forget gemstatecomicon.com.

[00:16:52] Get all the info.

[00:16:53] I know we ran through a bunch of stuff,

[00:16:55] but tons of artists as well.

[00:16:57] Get some free stuff signed.

[00:16:59] Get some cool prints.

[00:17:00] Get a free comic book from the con itself.

[00:17:02] It's awesome.

[00:17:03] And it's like three buildings now.

[00:17:05] So like it used to be just two and now it's three.

[00:17:07] Because we get our own building this year.

[00:17:09] Yeah.

[00:17:10] So, and like we just scratched the surface of it.

[00:17:12] I was looking at the events and program earlier this morning

[00:17:16] and I was just like, Holy crap, there's so much going on.

[00:17:19] There's so many.

[00:17:20] There's a whole bunch of artists that aren't even like, you know,

[00:17:23] like on the featured list right there.

[00:17:25] But like, you know,

[00:17:26] like there's a whole bunch of artists that are going to be there.

[00:17:28] So it's also pretty cool there.

[00:17:29] And it's a good deal.

[00:17:30] Yeah.

[00:17:31] Like Saga also again in the Instagram chat saying toy soldiers with him.

[00:17:37] It was amazing.

[00:17:38] Yeah, there you go.

[00:17:39] He's got a new movie coming out too with Matthew Maudine

[00:17:42] that hopefully we'll get to talk to him about Sean Aston about.

[00:17:46] Were we talking about Sean Aston?

[00:17:48] He's got like a banger franchise like each decade.

[00:17:51] It's crazy.

[00:17:52] I want to know about the Sing Our.

[00:17:55] He's like a low key nerd God.

[00:17:58] And some Hollywood, Hollywood royalty with his parents and whatnot.

[00:18:03] So yeah, yeah.

[00:18:04] At least for you guys to have that interview.

[00:18:06] I've been debating on whether I should wear a mesh crop top to that interview.

[00:18:12] I'm going to say for the fans, let's just skip it.

[00:18:15] You know, like a mesh crop top and then just tell them that, you know,

[00:18:18] just compare, compare, like, you know, biceps with him.

[00:18:21] So James, I promise that won't happen.

[00:18:25] Oh, I'm so sad.

[00:18:27] I'm bringing creepy baby.

[00:18:29] I was going to put it on Instagram live and in creepy baby.

[00:18:34] I will make sure that Phil does not Eugene said do it.

[00:18:39] All right, ladies and gentlemen, we got to move on as much as I want to

[00:18:42] continue with these jokes.

[00:18:43] But ladies and gentlemen, it is now time to start some rumors.

[00:18:58] I want to start some rumors with you.

[00:19:00] With you.

[00:19:01] With you.

[00:19:02] I want to start some rumors with you.

[00:19:05] All right, let's do it.

[00:19:09] Hello there.

[00:19:10] Oh, is it me you're looking for?

[00:19:12] Hello there.

[00:19:13] Good fun.

[00:19:14] Even McGregor has been vocal about wanting a season two of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

[00:19:17] Even if that doesn't happen, the actor is quote, pretty sure that he will

[00:19:21] have the opportunity to play the Jedi master again while speaking

[00:19:24] with Lad Bible.

[00:19:26] Okay.

[00:19:27] But Gregor just season two saying that he's yet to hear from the studio

[00:19:30] about any plans saying I love doing it.

[00:19:32] I hope we get to do another one.

[00:19:34] I'm sure we will.

[00:19:35] I'm pretty sure, you know, that's a good you and McGregor.

[00:19:37] That was a few years yet before the same age as Alex Guinness

[00:19:40] wasn't a new hope.

[00:19:41] So there's time to tell more stories there.

[00:19:43] So the table will be over here.

[00:19:45] Hello there again.

[00:19:47] Hello there again.

[00:19:49] Hello there.

[00:19:51] So did anyone notice the theme?

[00:19:53] Yes.

[00:19:54] Is it me you're looking for?

[00:19:56] There we go.

[00:19:57] I can see it in your eyes.

[00:20:00] That show broke as Sanketh 5.

[00:20:02] I'm sorry.

[00:20:03] I do believe we're at least going to get another season of Obi-Wan

[00:20:10] or of Kenobi, or we'll see another appearance of Obi-Wan.

[00:20:14] So my tacos are on the table.

[00:20:16] I really want to see a Harris, Harrison Dula, Obi-Wan scene.

[00:20:21] And yeah, I'm just going to say that wherever it goes.

[00:20:24] I mean, you know, she's single now.

[00:20:26] Okay.

[00:20:27] Did they get divorced?

[00:20:28] No.

[00:20:29] Harrison Dula.

[00:20:30] Oh, I was going to say what the hell?

[00:20:31] Because Kane and Jarrah Sane alive.

[00:20:33] Right.

[00:20:34] He's unalived.

[00:20:35] Okay.

[00:20:36] My tacos are on the table.

[00:20:39] I think he's willing to do it.

[00:20:41] They have a successful show.

[00:20:43] I think there's something where you and McGregor comes back

[00:20:46] as Obi-Wan because and that's something everybody would recognize.

[00:20:50] Right.

[00:20:51] You know, this isn't something in the new era of, you know,

[00:20:55] Disney Star Wars.

[00:20:56] This is something that can be grounded in what people love.

[00:21:00] Right?

[00:21:01] Yeah.

[00:21:02] But I think Iger would go like, you know what,

[00:21:04] if we're going to bring you in back, let's do it as a movie

[00:21:06] and make it a walkbuster movie.

[00:21:08] I'm sure he would.

[00:21:09] My very melty, somewhat metallic, so unsevalized tacos

[00:21:15] are on the table.

[00:21:17] Oh, it's so good.

[00:21:19] Move along.

[00:21:20] My more Ewan McGregor and just about anything because I love

[00:21:27] me some Ewan tacos around the table.

[00:21:30] Hello there.

[00:21:31] Move along.

[00:21:32] All right.

[00:21:34] I just, I had an excuse because I was like,

[00:21:39] I've got both Obi-Wan's on the same board.

[00:21:41] I need to do that.

[00:21:43] So movie on from here, guys.

[00:21:46] We got some Batman rumors in here because heads or tails

[00:21:51] are new rumors making the rounds online claiming that

[00:21:54] Boyd Holbrook is in talks to play Harvey Dent,

[00:21:57] AKA two face and Matt Reeves, the Batman part two.

[00:22:00] Hope Rick has some experience playing bad guys having played

[00:22:03] Donald Pierce and Logan and corn and the Corinthian

[00:22:06] in Netflix's The Sandman.

[00:22:08] And most recently he played Caber in Indiana Jones

[00:22:12] and the Dial of Destiny.

[00:22:13] We haven't heard anything about the sequel story,

[00:22:15] but it has been reported that the movie will be at least

[00:22:18] partially based on Jeff Goff's Batman Earth one.

[00:22:21] So tacos on the table.

[00:22:23] Should we flip a coin to decide if we want Boyd Holbrook

[00:22:26] as the DA of Gotham City?

[00:22:28] Interesting.

[00:22:29] I can see it.

[00:22:30] I say absolutely.

[00:22:32] Let's push all those tacos on the table.

[00:22:34] Boyd Holbrook brings such interesting choices to the

[00:22:38] villains that he plays and I'd like to see him do that.

[00:22:40] I really liked him as the Corinthian in Sandman.

[00:22:45] I loved him in Logan and he, as I didn't know him

[00:22:49] really until Logan and I really liked he had that kind of

[00:22:53] like almost like cracked villain down,

[00:22:56] like you know a villain that's not all there.

[00:22:58] And I just think he could do some really good stuff with

[00:23:01] two face.

[00:23:02] I really think he could like Richard Maul stuff.

[00:23:05] Cool.

[00:23:06] I did that.

[00:23:07] I like that.

[00:23:08] My half hard, half soft shell tacos were on the table.

[00:23:13] Oh, tacos.

[00:23:14] Yeah.

[00:23:15] Okay, go ahead.

[00:23:16] That was, that was good.

[00:23:17] I think we're good, right?

[00:23:18] Tell, did you?

[00:23:19] Oh, that's right.

[00:23:20] Oh, no, James is next story.

[00:23:22] Previously on Spider-Man, according to Rumor,

[00:23:26] Spider-Man 4 will see Peter Parker stepping fully into

[00:23:30] Spider-Man and leaving Peter behind.

[00:23:32] Interesting.

[00:23:33] I know, right?

[00:23:34] The idea now moving forward is to give him a sense of

[00:23:37] independence in his mind.

[00:23:38] Peter Parker is no more, but Spider-Man lives on since he

[00:23:42] has either lost or detached himself from everyone he's

[00:23:46] ever loved.

[00:23:47] All he has to keep him going is being Spider-Man,

[00:23:50] whether the city loves him or not.

[00:23:53] As the title of Spider-Man,

[00:23:55] Spider-Man continues to consume Peter's life little by

[00:23:58] little, Peter Parker will take a back seat and continue

[00:24:01] to fade from existence.

[00:24:03] This story point can be compared to Robert Patterson's

[00:24:07] Batman, the Batman, Batman, the Batman.

[00:24:10] No, just the Batman.

[00:24:11] His Batman and the Batman.

[00:24:13] Yeah, I don't know.

[00:24:15] So which Spider-Man will we get in Spider-Man 4?

[00:24:18] Keep in mind like there's all kinds of rumors that

[00:24:21] Daredevil may be in this, Kingpin, Ant-Man, you

[00:24:24] know, or the other Spider-Man's may be in this.

[00:24:27] Right.

[00:24:28] And maybe even Miles Morales.

[00:24:29] I don't know.

[00:24:30] That's a weird one.

[00:24:31] Yeah, I mean, and they're talking about like Drew Goddard.

[00:24:33] Like he's like the emerging front runner to direct it

[00:24:36] because like John Watts said he's not going to do it again.

[00:24:39] So, hmm, I know.

[00:24:40] Well, they're also talking about Justin Lin too.

[00:24:42] So I mean, like there's a couple of different people that

[00:24:44] they're looking at.

[00:24:45] Yeah.

[00:24:46] And I think that if you like Drew Goddard or Justin

[00:24:48] Lin, they're going to have two totally different takes

[00:24:50] on it.

[00:24:51] Yeah.

[00:24:52] So, hmm, I like this idea.

[00:24:55] I think it's a natural progression.

[00:24:57] And I really feel like it would create a lot of like dramatic

[00:25:00] tension if he was like, well, you know, Peter's not working for

[00:25:04] me anymore.

[00:25:05] So let me just be Spider-Man.

[00:25:07] And then like at some point in J, like remembers like to bring

[00:25:11] Peter back.

[00:25:13] Like it's, you know, I could see that.

[00:25:15] I could see that being a really interesting storyline.

[00:25:17] Yeah.

[00:25:18] So my talk is around the table for this.

[00:25:20] Okay.

[00:25:21] I just, you know, Tom Holland right now, he's, I've

[00:25:23] adopted him.

[00:25:24] I adopted him many years ago.

[00:25:26] And so I wanted to do well.

[00:25:28] He's Tom Holland, Timothy, Shalameh and Chidu are sharing a

[00:25:33] room.

[00:25:34] And, and Aman Vellani.

[00:25:35] Don't forget about her.

[00:25:36] Yeah.

[00:25:37] You don't get to share a room with Aman Vellani.

[00:25:39] We've already talked about this.

[00:25:40] Okay.

[00:25:41] You know, that's good.

[00:25:45] That's good.

[00:25:46] Okay.

[00:25:47] My tacos are on the table just because the story

[00:25:50] naturally is making its way in that direction anyways.

[00:25:53] So it doesn't, it doesn't not make sense to have Peter just

[00:25:58] not be Peter anymore and just focus on being Spider-Man.

[00:26:01] At the same time, this also lends itself to where like, okay,

[00:26:05] if there's a little bit of heartbreak and you know, MJ

[00:26:08] doesn't remember him and he doesn't do anything like this

[00:26:11] may be in an in for him to meet Mary Jane Watson.

[00:26:14] Yeah.

[00:26:15] You know, I was thinking that they are going that way where

[00:26:20] he's lost any ties.

[00:26:22] He's really had to Peter and so him becoming Spider-Man and

[00:26:25] just thinking this is what I'm supposed to do and this is who

[00:26:28] I am.

[00:26:29] And that way he's kind of hiding from not being able to deal

[00:26:32] with all the loss.

[00:26:34] I could see that being a really big emotional beat for him

[00:26:37] and then to have, yeah, Gwen Stacy time.

[00:26:40] I can see that like, like him.

[00:26:42] Yeah.

[00:26:43] I definitely think that could happen.

[00:26:45] Okay.

[00:26:46] I have a wild theory real quick then if this is what

[00:26:48] they're going to do, maybe the short that just released is a

[00:26:52] bit of a kind of testing the waters for something like this.

[00:26:55] Oh, yeah.

[00:26:56] Because the whole mental health thing about it.

[00:26:58] Yeah.

[00:26:59] Yeah.

[00:27:00] I could be that and that could introduce Miles as well.

[00:27:03] Exactly.

[00:27:04] Oh, look at you go.

[00:27:06] I like that.

[00:27:07] That's great.

[00:27:08] Way to go.

[00:27:09] My theory creator.

[00:27:11] My very sticky webby tacos are on the table.

[00:27:13] Very good.

[00:27:14] Very good.

[00:27:15] All right.

[00:27:16] So moving on from here.

[00:27:18] Symbiotes fucking assemble.

[00:27:21] Easy.

[00:27:24] I did not write that whole word.

[00:27:27] Thank you.

[00:27:28] It's there.

[00:27:29] So symbiote fucking assemble.

[00:27:32] It's implied.

[00:27:34] It's implied more of a Seth Rogen way to do that, right?

[00:27:37] Yeah.

[00:27:38] Yeah.

[00:27:39] Sony Pictures Animation is reportedly producing an

[00:27:41] animated Venom feature film and the studio is said to

[00:27:44] have hired Seth Rogen to write and produce it.

[00:27:47] Hence dropping the F word right there.

[00:27:49] This movie is also supposed to be developed as a R rated film.

[00:27:52] This is absolutely in Rogan's warehouse and the story of Venom

[00:27:56] seems to be a no brainer when success when previously asked

[00:27:59] I said successfully when previously asked why he still

[00:28:02] hasn't worked with Marvel DC.

[00:28:04] He said honestly probably fear we really have a pretty

[00:28:07] specific way we work me and Evan speaking about Evan

[00:28:10] Goldberg have been right writers for 20 years at this

[00:28:13] point.

[00:28:14] It's a fear of the process honestly and I say that knowing

[00:28:17] nothing about the process.

[00:28:19] There are a lot of Marvel things I love and then it was

[00:28:21] probably proceeded with the.

[00:28:23] Are they sure it's Seth Rogen or not that dog that looks

[00:28:27] like Seth Rogen?

[00:28:29] Wow.

[00:28:31] So tacos on the table will Seth become the next

[00:28:37] symbiote before writing.

[00:28:39] Frey, you know, I think it's good.

[00:28:42] He's had such success like preacher and the boys which

[00:28:46] which is technically DC because it's it's what you call it's

[00:28:50] vertigo vertigo, which is an imprint of DC.

[00:28:53] Right.

[00:28:55] And but yeah, I mean like he's he's got that and it's

[00:28:58] these characters that are that are really flawed and

[00:29:02] like instead of trying to hide the flaws they

[00:29:05] accentuate them.

[00:29:06] And so I think that this I mean I think it's a slam

[00:29:09] dunk for him.

[00:29:10] It's one of those where it's like he would have to do many,

[00:29:13] many things to make it fail.

[00:29:15] Yeah.

[00:29:16] So my tacos are on the table.

[00:29:18] Yeah.

[00:29:19] My black inky kind of orially tacos are leaking out onto

[00:29:23] the table.

[00:29:24] You're squid salsa tacos, squidding salsa.

[00:29:28] Yes, my my tacos that have just grown legs that are

[00:29:32] currently running away.

[00:29:34] All right.

[00:29:38] And we don't know which of us is the taco current like a

[00:29:41] turd in the way.

[00:29:42] I think you've gone to a different.

[00:29:44] I know that's right.

[00:29:45] Right.

[00:29:46] Right.

[00:29:47] My tacos are on the table.

[00:29:49] I think you know he's been successful so many times with

[00:29:52] his producing and producing like smaller IP.

[00:29:56] I think he's going to get a shot at doing something

[00:29:59] with Marvel or DC.

[00:30:01] So yeah, I could see him doing venom.

[00:30:03] So talk was on the table young Phil.

[00:30:05] Mostly just because Seth Rogen understands comics and

[00:30:08] understands adapting comics into into visual platforms.

[00:30:12] I mean the boys preacher.

[00:30:15] There's another comic book property that he produced that

[00:30:19] turned out really good to him.

[00:30:20] I'm trying to remember what it is, but like.

[00:30:22] Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

[00:30:23] That's right.

[00:30:24] TMNT is another one like he understands kind of nerd

[00:30:27] properties.

[00:30:28] Right.

[00:30:29] Like he's he's one of the he's somebody who doesn't

[00:30:31] just go like I'm going to go and rewrite this property

[00:30:34] and it's going to be completely different and something

[00:30:37] that has nothing to do with anything that the character

[00:30:40] has venom live action.

[00:30:42] I'm talking about you.

[00:30:43] You know, but it's like he's not just like tangentially

[00:30:47] taking characters and saying I'm going to write a brand

[00:30:49] new story that has nothing to do with the character,

[00:30:51] but the character is going to be in it.

[00:30:52] He actually writes everything around the characters.

[00:30:54] So I you know again the boys is not exactly like

[00:30:57] the comic book, but it's in that essence of the

[00:31:00] boys right preacher was shot for shot exactly

[00:31:03] like the comic book.

[00:31:04] So it's just like, you know, it was almost scary how much

[00:31:06] it was like the comic book and then TMNT was a whole

[00:31:09] new IP that took them into a new generation,

[00:31:12] but still held strong to what TMNT is.

[00:31:15] So I think that he given the ability to do a venom

[00:31:20] movie.

[00:31:21] He'll do the right amount of violence with it.

[00:31:23] He'll tell the right story, especially because

[00:31:25] it's animated more than likely he's going to be

[00:31:27] able to use Spider-Man inside of it and everything

[00:31:29] like that and actually have if he's doing venom

[00:31:31] than he can or he can even do something where

[00:31:33] venom is already established as a character,

[00:31:35] not go into the origin or anything like that

[00:31:37] and go right into something like agent venom

[00:31:39] with like Flash Thompson.

[00:31:40] Yeah.

[00:31:41] You know what I mean?

[00:31:42] Yeah.

[00:31:43] There's still a lot of possibilities for venom

[00:31:44] because man they use those symbiotes a lot.

[00:31:47] Yeah.

[00:31:48] And because now you know it's more mainstream

[00:31:50] people know about the symbiotes between

[00:31:52] video games and the venom movies.

[00:31:54] You don't have to go and explain the origin.

[00:31:56] I mean the origin is still kind of murky

[00:31:58] because they haven't told a proper origin story

[00:32:00] aside from Spider-Man 3 which

[00:32:02] origin was right, character was wrong.

[00:32:04] But they did a really good job of that.

[00:32:08] So I think that given that

[00:32:10] he could do something really good.

[00:32:12] You know what I mean?

[00:32:13] Yeah.

[00:32:14] So yeah my tacos are on the table.

[00:32:16] So let's go ahead and move on.

[00:32:19] Alrighty.

[00:32:20] So New Age, New Wave is X-97 just the beginning.

[00:32:25] You'll understand.

[00:32:26] If you were alive or know anything about the 90s

[00:32:29] you understand that.

[00:32:30] Yeah.

[00:32:31] I knew rumors days.

[00:32:32] There have been discussions about exploring

[00:32:34] a Marvel 90s animation universe

[00:32:37] which would most likely be explored

[00:32:40] through X-Men 97 at this time.

[00:32:42] The report adds there's potential for more

[00:32:45] projects to be developed within this universe.

[00:32:47] The most likely candidate being a sequel series

[00:32:50] to Spider-Man the animated series.

[00:32:53] But this is still very early in development

[00:32:56] as an idea being tossed around.

[00:32:58] The Spider-Man series did end with a huge

[00:33:00] cliffhanger as Mary Jane Watson was missing

[00:33:04] still and the Spider-Burst was even in play.

[00:33:07] So other Marvel's shows that they could

[00:33:10] consider though are like Fantastic Four

[00:33:12] because they had something in the 90s

[00:33:14] Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Silver Surfer

[00:33:18] and the Avengers United they stand.

[00:33:20] So there's a lot in that 90s.

[00:33:22] I remember the Iron Man series starting off

[00:33:25] with the one thing that sticks out of my head

[00:33:28] is in the opening credits.

[00:33:30] The Mandarin like closes his fist

[00:33:32] and all of his rings light up so do.

[00:33:34] Well, like the 90s shows did crossover a lot.

[00:33:37] Yes.

[00:33:38] And so I mean could this be like

[00:33:40] the future of Marvel animation?

[00:33:41] Could they go back to the 90s

[00:33:43] and that's how they basically

[00:33:45] revitalize their animation?

[00:33:48] I'd be so for this.

[00:33:51] So like are the 90s the new vibe in animation?

[00:33:54] I have two things.

[00:33:56] That's the tacos on the table thing though.

[00:33:58] Are the 90s the new vibe in animation?

[00:34:01] So go for it.

[00:34:03] First thing, I think this is as we've

[00:34:06] mentioned before is probably setting up

[00:34:09] the X-Men coming into the MCU as well.

[00:34:12] But it could be the new vibe in animation

[00:34:15] but it could be specifically from this universe.

[00:34:19] And so they could be like they're exploring this universe.

[00:34:23] So when we see it in the MCU, we recognize it.

[00:34:26] Like it's going to be universe and like secret wars?

[00:34:29] Yeah, exactly.

[00:34:31] Something and then that's where the X-Men come in.

[00:34:33] Yeah, actually smart because then you don't have to do origins on the characters.

[00:34:37] Exactly.

[00:34:39] And everybody loves you again because it's like oh it's these people in live action.

[00:34:43] Second thing, this is not 90s at all.

[00:34:47] But I would love to see a sequel to exactly what it was.

[00:34:52] But the Avengers Earth Mightiest Heroes.

[00:34:55] Oh yeah.

[00:34:56] That one because that was my childhood.

[00:34:58] So I'd love to see a sequel to that.

[00:35:01] So I hope that with the success of X-Men 97 and all that now

[00:35:05] that they're going to start bringing back a lot of the other animated stuff

[00:35:08] even it wasn't in that era.

[00:35:10] Yeah, I like that.

[00:35:12] There are tacos on the table.

[00:35:15] My very, let's see here

[00:35:18] Fantastic green kind of metallic, also metallic

[00:35:25] and United tacos are on the table.

[00:35:33] Young Phil, what do you think a lot?

[00:35:35] 100% on the table because X-Men 97 already just three episodes in is is highly successful highly rated everybody loves it

[00:35:44] It's it's one of the most watched shows on

[00:35:47] On TV right now or just like out there right now because like they had

[00:35:52] They've like broken records with the amount of like views that they've gotten with it

[00:35:55] So it's like yeah, it's it's ridiculously successful. I do not see them saying you know what let's leave money on the table

[00:36:03] You know, especially Disney I don't see Disney saying let's leave some money on the table man leave money on the table are they bring it up?

[00:36:09] Yeah, so like I I see I see them doing Spider-Man. I see them

[00:36:15] I mean given that this is the exact the same universe these characters already live within this universe

[00:36:21] You know because it is a continuation of an old series

[00:36:24] Which means it would be it would be dumb for them not to bring it back

[00:36:27] So I see them going through and doing everything

[00:36:31] My tacos are on the table because I mean like I would throw them and chatter them that's how much I want this to happen

[00:36:39] but yeah, I really think that

[00:36:42] That it's a good way to reboot their whole animation

[00:36:47] Because it's kind of been lacking besides the spider verse stuff has really been lacking lately

[00:36:52] And I just think that they could do that and I think they could actually surpass DC in animation if they go this route

[00:36:57] Absolutely

[00:37:00] Yeah, I agree. I agree. I like this. I want to make it happen

[00:37:04] Iron fist will return maybe maybe

[00:37:11] It looks like iron fist star Finn Jones might be teasing his return through the role of Danny Rand

[00:37:18] While Marvel has made Netflix defenders shows canon not everyone seems to be returning

[00:37:24] Jones recently shared a photo on his Instagram story that featured a power man and iron fist comic inside a travel bag

[00:37:32] There was also a copy of the Neverending story

[00:37:35] Which could be some other kind of clue to what he's doing the comic appears to be in acrylic

[00:37:41] collector like an an acrylic collector's case

[00:37:44] So he's definitely not gonna be reading that if he is then what the hell stop

[00:37:50] Some fans think that he is heading to the set of Daredevil born again, which is currently filming

[00:37:56] There was a report a couple of months ago that Marvel was in development on a female lead iron fist

[00:38:02] Series with Danny Rand in the supporting role

[00:38:05] The plan is supposedly for a new story to put to put the spotlight on like a female lead

[00:38:10] And there's been at least some talk of this being an animated adaptation

[00:38:15] So are we Jonesing for a return of Danny Rand?

[00:38:21] Do wants to go first

[00:38:33] You're jack in the box dollar 79 two tacos

[00:38:39] My very very greasy very white tacos are

[00:38:44] I don't know if they're on the table. They're like kind of teetering on the edge of it. Yeah. Yeah

[00:38:54] My tacos are on the table here's why I think Finn Jones is a good Danny Rand. He's just a shitty iron fist, right?

[00:39:01] the thing is is that's not his fault because the

[00:39:06] showrunner

[00:39:08] Director decided I want I want everyone to see his face the entire time rather than doing what they did with

[00:39:13] Daredevil and covering his face for the martial art scenes

[00:39:16] Which it doesn't make sense to have Danny Rand run around without a mask on when his character has a fucking mask, right?

[00:39:23] Like the iron fist the immortal iron fist wears a mask

[00:39:26] You can get a martial artist to do that but again, I've railed on this in the past

[00:39:31] What was it Shane black or whatever his name is the guy that the guy who was the showrunner for for that

[00:39:35] Who was also the showrunner for for inhumans was was known for bringing shows in under budget

[00:39:42] So in that way they could save money

[00:39:44] That's his whole thing was we don't want to hire a real martial artist because

[00:39:48] You know I can save so much more money by just having Finn Jones try and learn it and look like shit, right?

[00:39:53] So in my opinion again, I did not have a problem with his at Danny Rand

[00:39:57] I had an issue with his iron fist, right one thing you can you have more time to actually train him

[00:40:03] If you want to have him get in there

[00:40:04] But again, you know

[00:40:06] You can train him just for like training scenes and then put a martial artist in as as as iron fist, right exactly

[00:40:12] On top of that where season two of iron fist ended was with Jessica Henwick's character becoming the iron the immortal iron fist

[00:40:20] Yeah, so for them to come back and say we are gonna do a female lead iron fist with Danny Rand as a

[00:40:27] Supporting character it tracks if they're gonna continue with what I'm right

[00:40:32] Also, we are we've already talked about the rumors of iron fist showing up in

[00:40:37] In Chong Chi so I mean I think they're not getting rid of the concept of iron fist

[00:40:42] But if anything they're gonna retool it and they're gonna make it so that it makes more sense

[00:40:47] Rather than just trying to cut corners and put the character shoe corn shoe horn the character in without doing it correctly

[00:40:53] Right. Oh, right. Cool. I like my tacos around the table because I really think that Ben Jones deserves a second chance at it

[00:41:01] and

[00:41:02] I I like I kind of liked iron fist to be honest with you

[00:41:08] Flicks so

[00:41:10] So yeah, I like where they ended it

[00:41:11] I was really kind of hoping we'd get more so that we could find out what was going on

[00:41:17] After season two, but you know, yeah, so I'm good James. Did you go? I haven't but I'm kind of on board

[00:41:24] I agree with what you guys are saying

[00:41:26] I think between Netflix and Disney and Marvel

[00:41:29] I think they're willing to give it a chance since it's like an established piece that

[00:41:34] They own now, so I think they're gonna be like, yeah, let's give it a shot

[00:41:38] Let's think about the good stuff and move forward from there

[00:41:41] So just like how they're remaking daredevil in kingpin and making a little bit more dynamic and bringing it into the MCU

[00:41:48] I think they're gonna find a way to like bring in more defenders because

[00:41:52] It's it's a talking point and it's something that they could do to

[00:41:56] Expand the MCU without having to do a ton of the lifting up front by creating a new young Avengers where everything's got to be

[00:42:03] From the start they can do all right. Let's just jump in with daredevil and

[00:42:09] I agree with that absolutely. Wow. Well, I feel like we've iron fisted this to

[00:42:14] Yeah

[00:42:19] It's been it's been iron fisted so ladies and gentlemen speaking of fisting

[00:42:25] Well, where is my super suit?

[00:42:29] Where in the multiverse are Deadpool Wolverine you may ask a new report has surface that claims to reveal the main setting of Deadpool and Wolverine

[00:42:38] Most of them film will be set in the void

[00:42:41] The report specifically says that 70 to 75 percent of the film takes place there

[00:42:45] We have previously seen the void in a in the Loki series a place at the end of time used to house

[00:42:51] Everything pruned by the TVA also it's been reported that an earlier draft of the screenplay had the movie take place during the events of the original X-Men trilogy

[00:42:59] The logline for the film is after facing some professional setbacks while going through a midlife crisis

[00:43:06] Wade Wilson decides to officially retire Deadpool and become a used car salesman

[00:43:11] But when his friends family and the whole world are at stake Deadpool decides to bring his katanas out of retirement

[00:43:17] He recruits an unwilling and wary Wolverine to not only fight for their survival, but ultimately their legacy

[00:43:23] But also that fucking your responsible hero Deadpool will change the history of the MCU with Wolverine

[00:43:28] And ladies and gentlemen that is today's

[00:43:31] Wade pegs, but Disney doesn't obses

[00:43:38] Dead pole Wolverine will hit theaters on July 26th guys tacos on the table will wait and low in fine

[00:43:45] Love for themselves and each other mostly themselves in the void. I

[00:43:50] Think the tacos are definitely on the table because we've seen all these sets before

[00:43:54] Yeah

[00:43:54] So I definitely think it's on the table that a lot of yeah and think how much they would save on

[00:43:59] Dressing up the sets, you know if it took place within the void attend so tacos on the table my chimichangas on the table

[00:44:06] Talk is on the table. Hopefully we'll get a low key appearance. Oh, yeah

[00:44:11] We're just like we're just mobius

[00:44:13] Also, mr. Sinister is the TV agent. I'm just saying

[00:44:19] I'm gonna keep saying even after it comes out and it proves me wrong

[00:44:23] I'm still gonna say Wade's gonna punch him in the face and

[00:44:27] All of a sudden he's gonna have a little diamond on his forehead. Oh my gosh, mr. Sinister is like the new Mephisto for

[00:44:47] Sorry

[00:44:51] All right ladies and gentlemen that is it for rumors did everybody put the tacos on the table on this

[00:44:54] No, my concern only whether the black chockers are on the table. Okay. Oh, there you go. All right

[00:44:59] Well, ladies and gentlemen that is it for rumors. It is time to move on golf clap

[00:45:04] And it's time to move on to the down

[00:45:14] All right, where we at oh, it's me hi, I'm the problem. It's me

[00:45:19] From Chicago to Asbury Park, New Jersey

[00:45:21] I can't do a

[00:45:28] Jeremy Allen white might be joining it might be going from the bear to the boss a

[00:45:33] New report suggested that white is the top choice to put to portray Bruce Spring scene and deliver me from nowhere a new narrative film

[00:45:43] Centered around the rock icon man Bee Gees and the boss

[00:45:47] Deliver me from nowhere would be written and directed by Scott Cooper and produced by departing Netflix chief Scott

[00:45:54] Stuber as well as Gotham groups Ellen Goldsmith Bain and Eric Robinson

[00:45:59] That's a lot of names spring scene and his manager John Landau are reportedly actively involved in the film

[00:46:07] Born in the Opsis dancing in the dark synopsis

[00:46:11] We have a born in the Opsis dancing in the dark synopsis

[00:46:17] Born in the Opsis

[00:46:23] Based on Warren Zane's

[00:46:25] 2023 book deliver me from nowhere the making of Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska

[00:46:30] What the making of the Springsteen's Nebraska

[00:46:33] Deliver me from nowhere

[00:46:35] No, we're tracks behind the scenes production of Springsteen's album Nebraska. Okay, that makes it

[00:46:40] Which is regarded to be his most important record now. I don't think I I probably heard stuff from

[00:46:47] I'm sure I have but according to the book's description Nebraska is rough and unfinished

[00:46:51] Recorded on cassette tape with a simple four track recorder by Springsteen alone in his bedroom

[00:46:57] Just as the as the digital future was announcing itself and yet Springsteen now considers it his best album

[00:47:05] It seems a little depressing. It's the way you recorded it. Yeah, no date when we will be delivered from Nebraska

[00:47:13] Okay, yeah, but I can see Jeremy Allen white being alone in a room with a cassette player

[00:47:22] Jeremy Allen white is pretty much in everything now, right?

[00:47:25] Like I mean it started off as my boy lip and then now he's just in everything and I love it. Yeah

[00:47:31] Yeah, yeah, watch the the bear. Yes, the bear is great

[00:47:35] It's on the list really great show the dinner scene in season two the best the best

[00:47:42] When you once you watch the bear it'll make sense and you and you'll be like, oh my god, this is insane

[00:47:47] Did he just drive a car into their living room?

[00:47:54] That's that's not even that's not even the craziest thing that happens in that scene. Okay, so it's like it goes crazy

[00:48:00] All right, let's keep you going. All right. Well, uh, let me change that

[00:48:04] Okay, will we get variants of chimichangas well more than like we're gonna get variants of tacos beef chicken

[00:48:12] pork

[00:48:14] Are those just variants or is like chicken tacos just a variant of a regular taco. Oh my god, my mind is

[00:48:22] Geez, I mean

[00:48:24] Dinosaur yes, it's all variants of al pastor anyways, so

[00:48:30] Toastada is just a variant

[00:48:34] 100% that's 100% at the start is just a flat variant of a taco. Yep. Wow

[00:48:39] That's it a new piece of promo art has surface for Deadpool Wolverine and it features Wolverine and also teases a few Deadpool's

[00:48:46] You know just that appear in the movie really let's say we think up here in the movie

[00:48:50] They include baby pool kid pool Deadpool himself dog pool and head pool. I

[00:48:56] I'm so excited that if it's really like I mean it looks like it's head pool in the picture

[00:49:01] But like if it's head pool with the propeller hat, that's like that's the way he is in the comics, right?

[00:49:06] Like I just I know and Ryan he would 100% do the propeller hat

[00:49:11] But anyways Deadpool Wolverine will punch kick stab slash shoot snick. It's way into theaters on July 26th. Nice. Oh, it's cool

[00:49:21] Right there so fancy, but yeah, I like that

[00:49:25] I think it'll be fun. They can go so crazy with this that I just I feel like if we like really start to like pin down certain things

[00:49:34] We might be

[00:49:37] Setting expectations and I think we should just stop doing that

[00:49:41] Stop doing that right now stop setting expectations

[00:49:48] They want us talking about

[00:49:51] But I'm just like, you know, I'm like just don't tell me I want to be surprised

[00:49:54] It's also this is the first time we're actually seeing this version of Logan with the mask on yeah

[00:50:00] You know it's even though it's an art concept

[00:50:02] But I mean like this this is giving us an idea of what the masses and look like yeah, yeah

[00:50:06] That's awesome. I just it's gonna be cool no matter what it's gonna be cool

[00:50:11] Burrito is also a variant

[00:50:18] Definitely phrase part of the show I

[00:50:21] Know phrase been waiting the entire show to get to this so yeah some new

[00:50:26] Details have emerged from director Todd Phillips Joker fall a fall a do for

[00:50:33] Stop it a chord a variety

[00:50:36] a

[00:50:37] Jute box musical in the style of mama Mia and Mulan Roosh

[00:50:42] The film is said to feature reinterpretations of at least 15 very well-known songs including that's entertainment from

[00:50:51] 1953's the bandwagon the movie is also inspired by Francis Ford Coppola's infamous

[00:50:57] 1982 movie flop one from the heart

[00:51:00] When is a jute box musical I know what a jukebox hero is

[00:51:06] I would that's the only thing has been in my head for last five minutes here

[00:51:09] Look, I was waiting for us to finish everything for me to go

[00:51:15] Yeah, I think that this is gonna be really interesting I

[00:51:21] Won't ever see it so that'll be fun

[00:51:24] So I haven't watched the first one I refuse to it's Joker and

[00:51:29] Joaquin Phoenix and I am not fond of either thing so that tells you exactly where I go

[00:51:35] If this were a talk is on the table situation my talk is would be running

[00:51:40] It's they almost the trifecta if they had just like an army of spiders in it as well

[00:51:46] This would be like your anti movie. This would be free will never see this

[00:51:51] Exactly

[00:51:54] So anyway for those of you who are going to see it it is scheduled for release on October 4th at 2024

[00:52:00] You will not see further

[00:52:03] No, I will not be there

[00:52:04] I don't you even if I was paid to go see this movie. I would say no. Thank you

[00:52:10] So all of you out there

[00:52:12] Expand our viewership so that way we get paid off of ads and I can pay her to go watch this movie

[00:52:21] My ears and a blindfold on what if James Gunn was like hey fray. Thanks for all your hard work

[00:52:27] Can can you actually watch this movie real quick? I'd say

[00:52:31] Here's tickets for free. I really appreciate you and I think it's great and I really want our dogs to hang out but

[00:52:39] It just let me come on the set of Superman or Supergirl

[00:52:43] Or you know what put me in the Amazon's TV series

[00:52:47] Like you know in the background or something I don't care, but do not make me watch this movie

[00:52:53] He's like yeah, yeah, let's do all that

[00:52:54] But can you just watch this movie real quick and I would I would respectfully decline? Wow?

[00:53:00] Sorry James Gunn. I need I

[00:53:04] Specifically need your feedback on this movie right if Chris Evans asked me to go to this movie as his date

[00:53:13] Whoa, I would respectfully decline. What if Chris Evans was like I'm secretly in this movie

[00:53:18] I would say that's fantastic for you. I'm so proud of you. I'm still not watching

[00:53:26] Well sticking firmly in the in the realm of of Joker stuff why is my name

[00:53:33] Praise second favorite part of the show more Joker news

[00:53:40] She's like why

[00:53:43] I

[00:53:47] Warner Brothers Discovery I hear that Warner Brothers Discovery is making a big anime push by expanding its investment and production of

[00:53:56] Japanese anime through its studio in Japan

[00:54:00] They are seeing a lot of success with their anime projects and they want more

[00:54:06] This news comes as they are stop writing stuff

[00:54:13] They are planning to release its DC anime series suicide squad a psyche

[00:54:20] Seekai oh, and it's even there on the thing

[00:54:24] James given

[00:54:26] Wbd president of Asia Pacific said in a statement

[00:54:30] We have a Japanese anime studio

[00:54:32] Which has been producing five or ten anime series per year over the last few years

[00:54:38] We've approved expansion to take that to more than ten series per year

[00:54:43] This Japanese anime that comes from original IP

[00:54:46] But there's also anime that comes from elsewhere and we've looked at our DC universe and said can we take these

[00:54:54] Characters and reinvent them in the world of anime which is not

[00:54:57] Straightforward because you have to do it the right way

[00:55:02] You have to work with the right studios to make it happen and to build your fan base

[00:55:07] Hmm what at WIT studios or wit studios the anime studio?

[00:55:12] Launched in 2011 and since then they've produced over 80 projects that include a mix of high quality anime live-action

[00:55:20] Series and movies some of these projects include Jojo's Bazaar Adventure

[00:55:25] Record of Ragnarok and Batman Ninja. So the suicide squad is say a CK

[00:55:31] He seek hi, it's okay is set to release

[00:55:37] 2024 streaming details for the show are yet to be revealed. So what do you guys think?

[00:55:42] Okay, I like the sir. I like this already just because

[00:55:47] The few projects that I've seen that DC has done in an anime style have been great

[00:55:51] So I'm excited to see kind of what they do from here. Yeah

[00:55:55] I like there

[00:55:56] I think some characters lend themselves to anime like Harley Quinn who's on the screen

[00:56:01] I think that's kind of cool. I do think the Titans the Teen Titans to some degree also lend itself

[00:56:08] Maybe like a young justice you could

[00:56:11] Heck even Superman you could really do a

[00:56:16] Like

[00:56:19] visions

[00:56:20] No, yeah, yeah, like tell else world stories

[00:56:24] Whether whether they're connected or not. I like that. That's good. Yeah, I I think it's interesting

[00:56:30] I think it's it's speaking to the audience of a younger generation of how to how to a young if I

[00:56:37] DC so to speak how to bring this to like the anime generation

[00:56:41] You know, it's so interesting like I go into the mall because malls are still a thing out here

[00:56:46] I don't like and there's you know, you go to hot topic and it's all anime now

[00:56:50] And then you walk by these other stores and there's like three different anime stores in our mall like in the

[00:56:57] Arden Fair mall like what is happening here? Like there's no toy stores. It's all anime stores

[00:57:02] Yeah, it's just speaking to a new generation. So yeah interesting good on you DC

[00:57:07] Yeah, yeah way to go way to you know bring the IP to the new generation. All right, let's keep it going. Yeah, all right

[00:57:14] Did we do we have a release date for that or no, it's not nothing July 24th

[00:57:19] Yeah, that's gonna set July 24th, but streaming details are not revealed. I said that I did say oh she said that

[00:57:27] It's okay, I know you don't

[00:57:30] Like you're my mother. I don't listen to you ever

[00:57:34] In your Bombay news

[00:57:39] He bum bet

[00:57:41] I

[00:57:46] Will studio says been developing a new Black Panther animated series title eyes of Wakanda

[00:57:52] That's where all of like the the Wakandan live or in Wakanda. I don't know if you know that

[00:57:58] Thanks to Marvel animation and TV producer Brad winter bomb

[00:58:01] We have some new details to share during an interview with men's help mince men's men's men's men's

[00:58:09] No, no, I just it's just an odd place to do an interview

[00:58:14] Okay

[00:58:15] The producer explained that the story for eyes of Wakanda is on the sacred timeline and officially part of the MCU

[00:58:21] The story follows previous Black Panthers and Dora Milaje members as they are tracking down vibranium artifacts

[00:58:27] When previously talking about the development of the series wonder why I'm said it's a show

[00:58:31] We're producing in partnership with the proximity media with Ryan Coopler is one of our executive producers

[00:58:37] The show was brought to us by Todd Harris who was a longtime storyboard artist company just like a

[00:58:43] Brian Andrews was who is of course the director of what if he pitched the show to Ryan

[00:58:48] He pitched the show to Kevin and and I and we were like, oh, yeah, let's do it

[00:58:52] There is a great date when our eyes will be back on how a should do how would winter bomb say you bomb back

[00:59:00] You're bomby

[00:59:06] You bomby

[00:59:19] I like that we're getting info on eyes Wakanda. Yeah, I had I

[00:59:24] Didn't know this existed until now so I mean what I like about it. It's that it's

[00:59:31] Black Panther Indiana Jones. Yeah. Yeah, it seems like and I like that

[00:59:35] That's something they don't have in the MCU is that kind of they kind of did it with Moon Knight with

[00:59:42] With his character, but they didn't really explore that they were exploring

[00:59:45] They were more into the DID of it and so but this is kind of cool

[00:59:49] So I wonder if maybe at some point we do see Moon Knight in this

[00:59:53] Like they go to him because he's got a like he's found some artifacts or he knows like he's got connections on who might know

[01:00:00] Or the vibranium artifacts are stuff

[01:00:02] so I also think we're we're getting the fallout like the

[01:00:07] Results of Chad Bozeman passing is they know they want to dig into black Panther in his story

[01:00:14] But how do we tell more black Panther stories? You know like with that?

[01:00:19] 1943 game with like Panther and Captain America now

[01:00:23] Honda is kind of going back in history. I think we're gonna see a lot more black Panther, but see more

[01:00:29] Black Panthers, yeah previous black Panthers, you know until they figure out how they're gonna like move the story forward in the

[01:00:37] MCU. Yeah, I totally agree previously in Wakanda

[01:00:44] Years ago in Wakanda

[01:00:47] You're bomb a long time ago

[01:00:51] You're bomb a long time ago in Wakanda. Yeah, Bobby

[01:00:55] You're bomb a everybody

[01:00:57] You're bomb a

[01:01:03] You're bomb a who's a who's you calling your body. All right, we're developing quickly

[01:01:10] Here in Wakanda

[01:01:16] Yeah, Bobby and you're Bobby and my mom pets

[01:01:20] It's so big.

[01:01:21] All right.

[01:01:22] God, I'm moving on thunder, thunder, thunder news.

[01:01:26] Oh,

[01:01:30] as Adam Wingard's Godzilla X Kong, the new empire is having a strong run

[01:01:34] at the box office.

[01:01:35] The director is talking about his new feature film adaptation

[01:01:39] of the classic 1980s cartoon series, Thundercats.

[01:01:42] Oh,

[01:01:45] one thing he wants to make clear is that the movie is to say that Frank.

[01:01:48] Oh, we call him.

[01:01:49] Uh, wants to make clear is that the movie is going to be a love

[01:01:53] letter to the series talking to comic book.

[01:01:56] He said my version is going to be 100 percent the 80s version.

[01:01:59] I've seen the rebooted anime one, but if I'm honest, the 1980s

[01:02:03] one, that's what Thundercats is to me.

[01:02:05] And that's what I'd be creating when I was in high school.

[01:02:07] Oh, so into Thundercats that I wrote this 270 something page

[01:02:11] screenplay like handwritten screenplay on it.

[01:02:14] It was my biggest dream growing up to make a Thundercats

[01:02:17] movie. And so here I am with the ability to actually do that.

[01:02:20] I'm still kind of fulfilling that dream.

[01:02:22] So Mumra is the word when talking about the release date.

[01:02:26] And here I thought Bird was the word.

[01:02:28] Mum's the word.

[01:02:29] Mumra, mumra, bra, bra, okay.

[01:02:33] I lost that whole fucking joke.

[01:02:35] Well, OK, so but what here's what I want to know.

[01:02:38] What was the little like nursemaid's name was scarf?

[01:02:42] Was it scarf?

[01:02:43] Snarf.

[01:02:44] Snarf. That's it.

[01:02:46] Snarf.

[01:02:47] They better say, just say snarf was a nursemaid.

[01:02:50] Yeah.

[01:02:52] You know, I don't know.

[01:02:52] She said snarf was a nurse.

[01:02:54] Yeah, that's true.

[01:02:55] Snarf.

[01:02:56] Snarf.

[01:02:57] Snarf.

[01:02:58] Well, you know, snarf snarf.

[01:03:00] Yeah.

[01:03:01] I think they're going to do a good job with Thundercats.

[01:03:04] I think Masters of the Universe by Kevin Smith is kind of the

[01:03:10] the perfect template to bring back.

[01:03:13] Yeah, to bring back some of this nostalgia content from the 80s.

[01:03:17] So it honors it.

[01:03:19] It connects to it, but it's also not the same exact thing.

[01:03:23] Just like X-Men 97, you know, it's like it's connected,

[01:03:26] but it's kind of grown up a little bit marginally, marginally.

[01:03:29] But do we ever grow up?

[01:03:30] We don't grow up ever.

[01:03:32] No, we grow up and then we go, I don't want to be a grown up anymore.

[01:03:37] And that's how we get all of it.

[01:03:39] I don't want to grow up.

[01:03:40] I want to be a Toys R Us kid, but there's no more Toys R Us.

[01:03:44] Right now it's all anime.

[01:03:49] And container stores.

[01:03:51] Container stores.

[01:03:52] And too big for your britches news.

[01:03:57] I'm sorry, San Diego Comic Con is really huge now.

[01:03:59] Our documentary film is in development that will tell the origin story

[01:04:04] of the biggest pop culture convention in the world, San Diego Comic Con.

[01:04:09] Or as the kids call it, Comic Con.

[01:04:12] Honestly, hold on before you move on.

[01:04:14] Honestly on that, any time that I tell a family member

[01:04:17] that we do panel interviews at cons, their immediate reaction is,

[01:04:21] you go to San Diego Comic Con.

[01:04:22] Like I've never been to San Diego Comic Con.

[01:04:24] Then how do you do interviews at cons?

[01:04:26] There's a con every weekend.

[01:04:28] Yeah, San Diego Comic Con is not the only one out there.

[01:04:31] San Diego Comic Con is just the biggest one,

[01:04:33] is the most well known one.

[01:04:34] But yeah, I actually have been to San Diego Comic Con and worked it.

[01:04:38] Used to work for several years.

[01:04:40] Shadoo, Shadoo's first Comic Con was San Diego Comic Con.

[01:04:44] Look, I don't remember anything because I was like nine months old.

[01:04:48] I think.

[01:04:48] Yeah, exactly.

[01:04:49] Shadoo was born out of Comic Con.

[01:04:55] So the large pink hospital at Comic Con, sure.

[01:04:58] Yeah, yeah.

[01:04:59] Basically in San Diego that they're all of the hospitals

[01:05:02] are Comic Con related.

[01:05:04] Just kidding.

[01:05:05] The film will be based on Matthew Klickenstein's book.

[01:05:09] Klickenstein's book.

[01:05:10] Why did I want to put an end in there?

[01:05:12] See you at San Diego and oral history of Comic Con fandom

[01:05:16] and the triumph of geek culture.

[01:05:19] Why is it that nerds have to make things that are super

[01:05:21] mouth like the super mouthy, it's like super mouthful?

[01:05:24] Yeah, we none of us apparently can't pronounce mouthful.

[01:05:27] Well, I think it comes down to nerds planning.

[01:05:31] Oh, yeah.

[01:05:32] I'm not going to go into that.

[01:05:33] I do that a lot because we have an office.

[01:05:35] OK.

[01:05:35] Sandy.

[01:05:37] A gopsist.

[01:05:38] Make sure you wear deodorant Comic Con synopsis.

[01:05:42] Oh my God, really?

[01:05:44] Sandy a gopsist.

[01:05:45] Make sure you wear deodorant Comic Con synopsis.

[01:05:48] Synopsis.

[01:05:51] And I have to say James, I really appreciate that

[01:05:53] because I would have done that as well.

[01:05:59] The sea the C.U.

[01:06:00] at San Diego documentary will follow how a scrappy group

[01:06:04] of teenager teenage fans, zinsters, illustrator,

[01:06:08] stoners hippies, weirdos, bookworms and science buffs

[01:06:12] in the late 1960s.

[01:06:14] Join forces with an unemployed 30 something comic fan

[01:06:19] to create what has now become one of the most influential

[01:06:24] pop culture events ever.

[01:06:26] Some might say it is the Mecca of nerds.

[01:06:29] Yeah.

[01:06:30] Yeah.

[01:06:31] Yeah.

[01:06:31] Yeah.

[01:06:32] OK.

[01:06:32] There's a treasure trove of new and old interviews

[01:06:35] with all of the key players involved alongside special

[01:06:39] celebrity guests in combination with scores of rare

[01:06:42] or unseen photos, audio archives, artwork and memorabilia,

[01:06:47] including a newly discovered and exclusive cache

[01:06:50] of more than 15 hours of unearthed video footage

[01:06:54] from the earliest days of the con.

[01:06:56] Now there's no dates that can be seen

[01:07:01] for C.U. in San Diego, but I think it's really cool

[01:07:04] because it has been around a long time when I lit when

[01:07:07] Shadoo and I lived in San Diego.

[01:07:09] Like we would hear stories all the time like people are like,

[01:07:11] oh yeah, I went there in 73 and this is nothing like what it

[01:07:15] was and it just became such a big thing.

[01:07:19] And I have to say it was one of the first comic

[01:07:22] cons I went to.

[01:07:23] So it really spoiled me for all the other comic

[01:07:26] cons and I have to like when I go to other ones,

[01:07:28] I have to like mentally say this is not going to be like

[01:07:30] San Diego.

[01:07:31] This is not going to be like San Diego because I don't want

[01:07:34] to have that look on my face like I'm disappointed because,

[01:07:36] you know, you never know what's going to be the next

[01:07:38] San Diego comic con.

[01:07:40] Yeah.

[01:07:40] Yeah, that's a good point.

[01:07:42] So can you tell us?

[01:07:43] It could even be Jim State in Idaho.

[01:07:47] April 6th and 7th in Boise, Idaho at Expo, Idaho.

[01:07:54] Shameless plug, shameless plug.

[01:07:55] And of course it will be featuring Sean.

[01:08:00] Frank, can you tell us about your experience with San Diego

[01:08:04] comic con?

[01:08:04] So you attended like as a fan first before you worked there?

[01:08:08] No.

[01:08:08] So so I worked at a comic book store when I when I lived

[01:08:13] in San Diego for a bit and so I met a lot of the San Diego

[01:08:18] people and it just so having the comic book store that I

[01:08:21] frequented and worked at one of the people that worked for

[01:08:26] the comic con they oh, I don't know what that was.

[01:08:30] Apparently the mailman's here so gal had to let us know.

[01:08:35] But yeah, so difficult.

[01:08:37] So I you know, I'm the only girl working at this

[01:08:40] comic book store.

[01:08:41] So of course I got a lot of attention because I'm a girl

[01:08:44] in a comic.

[01:08:45] And so and so I got to unicorn.

[01:08:47] Yeah.

[01:08:47] So I got to talk to a lot of the people that were there

[01:08:51] and one of them worked there and he was like, hey, do you

[01:08:53] want to volunteer?

[01:08:54] And so I actually like really like stepped into it

[01:08:57] accidentally and started working exhibitor registration.

[01:09:02] So I actually got to meet a lot of the exhibitors

[01:09:04] before they even went on the floor.

[01:09:06] So I networked the heck out of that apparently.

[01:09:08] I don't know.

[01:09:09] I was just being me and like got in with some of

[01:09:12] the DC guys back then that I still kind of talked to

[01:09:16] like they're not at DC anymore, but I might still talk

[01:09:18] to them and yeah.

[01:09:20] So I just kind of got in with everybody got to meet a

[01:09:23] lot of the creators and got told to fuck off by

[01:09:28] Julia Schwartz and Stanley comfort me.

[01:09:32] So that was kind of cool.

[01:09:34] Yeah, there's a lot of San Diego stories like San

[01:09:37] Diego Comic Con stories that are just really odd

[01:09:39] and like just odd things happen there.

[01:09:41] You just randomly are standing next to someone

[01:09:44] Oh, lo and behold, it's Seth Green.

[01:09:46] You know, it's kind of thing.

[01:09:48] And so I had a lot of stories like that, but I always

[01:09:50] worked pre registration.

[01:09:52] So during the con, I went and just hung out

[01:09:56] and people would come up to me and they'd be like, hey,

[01:09:58] so we have this issue.

[01:10:00] Can you help us?

[01:10:00] And so I'd be like, oh gosh, I'm not working today,

[01:10:02] but let me find someone and I find someone with them.

[01:10:05] And like, yeah, so it was it was really an interesting

[01:10:08] experience.

[01:10:08] I got to meet a lot of the artists and stuff.

[01:10:11] Phil Jimenez knew that I was pregnant before my

[01:10:13] parents did.

[01:10:16] Yeah, so that was it.

[01:10:18] I was big Cross-Gen fans.

[01:10:19] I knew like all the artists and writers from that

[01:10:22] and almost got a job with them.

[01:10:24] And yeah, so it was like it was a weird time to be

[01:10:28] in Sandy.

[01:10:28] It was right before like the big huge push of all

[01:10:32] the like comic book movies and stuff.

[01:10:34] So, so yeah, but it was really neat.

[01:10:36] I enjoyed it.

[01:10:37] I recommend people volunteer for Comic Con just because

[01:10:41] it's such a cool experience kind of to see behind

[01:10:44] the scenes.

[01:10:45] And I think it helps you appreciate it more.

[01:10:47] So yeah, that's awesome.

[01:10:48] Yeah, that is super cool.

[01:10:50] I can't wait for you to see this movie.

[01:10:52] I almost want to like see it with you so you just

[01:10:54] pull things apart like, oh, I know that person.

[01:10:56] I remember that, you know, Hall.

[01:10:57] I remember this.

[01:10:58] I remember that like, oh, look at me.

[01:10:59] That's me in the back.

[01:11:00] You know?

[01:11:00] Oh, I don't know what they ever got.

[01:11:03] Hopefully.

[01:11:03] I'm sure.

[01:11:04] I'm sure there's footage where Frey was just walking

[01:11:07] in the background.

[01:11:08] Probably.

[01:11:09] Oh, I'm sure.

[01:11:09] Yeah.

[01:11:11] Just random Frey sighting.

[01:11:14] Yeah, exactly.

[01:11:14] You just go on like it was fun.

[01:11:18] I would, you know, I'm so glad I did it.

[01:11:20] I'm so glad I got to do it.

[01:11:22] So that's awesome.

[01:11:23] All right.

[01:11:24] And yeah, I'll take one one glazed big back please.

[01:11:28] Glazed big man.

[01:11:29] Okay.

[01:11:30] All right.

[01:11:31] Sounds both disgusting and intriguing at the same time.

[01:11:34] I'm even though McDonald's largely forced to stand by

[01:11:36] it, won some Golden Arches.

[01:11:38] They have struck a new partnership that could straight

[01:11:40] that could shake the very foundation fast food is built on.

[01:11:48] McDonald's and Krispy Kreme announced a new partnership

[01:11:51] that would see donuts from the latter being made available

[01:11:53] at participating McDonald's locations within the next

[01:11:56] two years.

[01:11:57] Interesting.

[01:11:58] A press release from the company.

[01:11:59] Yes.

[01:11:59] From the company's notes, a successful test period,

[01:12:02] 160 stores in the greater,

[01:12:03] likely to the Louisville market last year.

[01:12:05] The Krispy Kreme at McDonald's release will begin

[01:12:07] a staggered rollout later this year.

[01:12:09] And the partnership is set to be in full effect nationwide

[01:12:12] by the closing moments of 2026.

[01:12:15] As part of the deal, Krispy Kreme's three most popular

[01:12:18] donuts will be available at McDonald's.

[01:12:20] The original glazed chocolate iced with sprinkles and

[01:12:23] chocolate creams filled.

[01:12:24] I only I like two of those.

[01:12:27] Each of the donuts are available by themselves or as part

[01:12:30] of a special six pack or half dozen or what we like

[01:12:33] to call it single serving.

[01:12:35] You know what I mean?

[01:12:37] A six pack single serving.

[01:12:39] The doughnuts.

[01:12:40] This is why diabetes happens.

[01:12:42] The donuts will be available beginning with McDonald's

[01:12:44] breakfast offering and can be purchased throughout the day

[01:12:46] as supplies last ever McDonald's will sell this will

[01:12:49] removal every McDonald's will sell Krispy Kreme by 2026.

[01:12:53] So I'm probably the outlier on this because I know

[01:12:56] everybody loves Krispy Kreme.

[01:12:58] I'm not a big fan of Krispy Kreme donuts.

[01:13:00] Wow.

[01:13:01] I can't eat that anymore.

[01:13:02] Off you are not a market.

[01:13:04] Let me tell you why the reason I don't like Krispy

[01:13:07] Kreme donuts is because I feel like they over sugary.

[01:13:10] I'm usually somebody who likes sweet stuff.

[01:13:12] Right.

[01:13:13] I feel like it has way too much sugar.

[01:13:15] I feel like the dough is too sweet.

[01:13:17] I feel like there's way too much glaze on it.

[01:13:19] They glaze their chocolate donuts.

[01:13:21] You don't need to glaze your chocolate donuts.

[01:13:23] Oh, yes you do.

[01:13:24] No, you don't.

[01:13:27] You don't need all that sugar.

[01:13:29] I like again the joke that you don't need.

[01:13:32] I want it.

[01:13:32] The joke that James made a second ago is like a six

[01:13:36] pack of donuts or one serving.

[01:13:37] Yeah, that's how you get diabetes.

[01:13:39] Yes.

[01:13:39] Uh huh.

[01:13:40] Take it from me.

[01:13:41] What's going to happen?

[01:13:42] I'm not denying any of these things.

[01:13:44] That's what I'm saying.

[01:13:44] Take it from me.

[01:13:45] I'm a fucking diabetic.

[01:13:46] So it's like.

[01:13:48] Well, no, so I was going to say I'm betting they're

[01:13:50] doing this so they can put like a McDonald's secret

[01:13:53] like see, you know the secret menu thing.

[01:13:55] That's the new in thing now is secret menus.

[01:13:58] You could have a McDonald's Krispy Kreme burger as in

[01:14:02] a secret menu.

[01:14:02] And I've seen people do that.

[01:14:03] All I need is like fair food.

[01:14:06] Thing where it's like a big Mac, but it's the donut buns.

[01:14:08] I've seen restaurants that do that like specifically

[01:14:11] they get Krispy Kreme donuts and they they do that.

[01:14:15] There was a place in Walnut Creek that used to do Krispy

[01:14:17] Kreme donuts that would cut them in half and put

[01:14:20] ice cream in them.

[01:14:20] You know, like that's awesome.

[01:14:21] I think that's that's pretty cool.

[01:14:23] There's actually a place in Roswell.

[01:14:24] Ice cream that would cut the sweetness too.

[01:14:26] Like just get like a good vanilla ice cream.

[01:14:28] But I'm going to be Aaron Watson in the chat.

[01:14:31] Diabetes.

[01:14:32] Wolf Brimley has entered the chat.

[01:14:40] I think you're right.

[01:14:41] This sounds amazing.

[01:14:43] Yeah, you know, I think we're going to see more things

[01:14:46] more partnerships like this of like big, big brands crossing

[01:14:51] over, you know, and kind of getting their products in

[01:14:53] other stores.

[01:14:54] I think that's going to happen more and more.

[01:14:57] Yeah.

[01:14:57] I think so too.

[01:14:58] And then it will all merge into like one mega

[01:15:00] corporation.

[01:15:02] Donalds will start selling Starbucks coffee type of thing.

[01:15:05] Right.

[01:15:05] And then and then eventually McDonald's will rule the

[01:15:07] world and we'll all be oppressed under the under the

[01:15:09] thumb of Ronald.

[01:15:10] I actually doubt I doubt the McDonald's.

[01:15:13] Yeah, the McDonald's.

[01:15:15] I doubt that one McDonald's the first of his name King of

[01:15:18] the I doubt that McDonald's would do Starbucks because

[01:15:22] their coffee is actually really good.

[01:15:23] But I do see I do see like Burger King doing something

[01:15:27] like that or one of the other big franchises to try and

[01:15:32] combat McDonald's coffee kind of dominance in the fast

[01:15:36] food market, not in the coffee market, but in fast food

[01:15:39] restaurants.

[01:15:40] Well, they're already better than McDonald's in one

[01:15:42] respect because their ice cream machines work.

[01:15:44] Oh, I don't know because I don't I don't eat at Burger

[01:15:49] King.

[01:15:50] Oh, I wasn't specifically about Burger King.

[01:15:52] Down with patriarchy.

[01:15:54] We need a Burger Queen.

[01:15:56] Wendy's.

[01:15:58] That would be Wendy's.

[01:16:02] Oh man, the court of fast food you got your Burger King

[01:16:07] your Wendy's is your Queen McDonald's is your name and

[01:16:12] in and out is your freaking gesture night and shining

[01:16:15] armor because it's delicious.

[01:16:18] Not according to Aaron Watson because he also said in

[01:16:21] the chat in and out is overrated aluminum.

[01:16:24] Namedy.

[01:16:24] Oh wait, no Jack in the box would be the would be the

[01:16:27] jester the jester and then out would be the night.

[01:16:35] Donald is the jester.

[01:16:37] Well, you know what?

[01:16:38] You know what?

[01:16:38] Also we could that you know we've we've you know could

[01:16:42] partner with we don't also partner with us because we got

[01:16:45] more people.

[01:16:46] Oh look at him.

[01:16:48] I wasn't even ready for it.

[01:16:49] Ladies and gentlemen, we got merch people.

[01:16:54] We got half just one just one just just not.

[01:16:58] That's it.

[01:16:58] That's all you get and it's going to go easy to Gem state.

[01:17:02] It's gonna be boys for 35 bucks or 30 if you can steal the

[01:17:06] one off young Phil's hat or young Phil's head as well.

[01:17:09] That would be gross shirts.

[01:17:11] I sweat and that had a lot.

[01:17:12] That's gonna be nasty.

[01:17:13] Yes, it does not smell good.

[01:17:16] We got shirts.

[01:17:17] We got two different shirts.

[01:17:17] We got the logo shirt.

[01:17:19] We also got the character shirt with Unipool on it.

[01:17:22] That'd be a great one right now for this Deadpool is

[01:17:25] coming out in a right around the corner.

[01:17:26] Hopefully, we live hell doesn't see us just DM us at distance

[01:17:31] nerding.

[01:17:31] Let us know what size you're looking for how many are

[01:17:33] looking for their 20 bucks or 25 if we got to ship it to

[01:17:38] you.

[01:17:38] We got a bunch of different sizes already and waiting for

[01:17:42] you.

[01:17:42] If you want some stickers, we've got some new stickers.

[01:17:44] Shout out to Eugene from Geek saga as well because he's

[01:17:47] we were just talking we're getting some new stickers.

[01:17:49] He's gonna hopefully bring him up to Boise so we'll have

[01:17:52] a fresh batch of stickers for everybody that Boise Boy.

[01:17:56] Actually, and this is just real quick, but did anybody see

[01:18:00] the tweet over the weekend from Rob Liefeld?

[01:18:02] Oh, was it about the Deadpool thing where the guy was like,

[01:18:05] oh, he just took Deathstroke and put in gave him Spider-Man

[01:18:10] sarcasm and that's it.

[01:18:11] And then and he tried to you're wrong about all of that.

[01:18:14] But okay, you do you.

[01:18:15] Well, like the whole context of it is the dude was trying

[01:18:18] the guy.

[01:18:18] He apparently didn't know who Rob Liefeld was and he's

[01:18:21] trying to tell Rob Liefeld what the creators of Deadpool

[01:18:24] intended with Deadpool and how they created Deadpool.

[01:18:27] And he was like, well, I mean, considering I'm the guy who

[01:18:30] created Deadpool, that's not how I created the character.

[01:18:34] But sure, you know, that's shit that came up on Reddit a

[01:18:36] couple years ago.

[01:18:37] Yeah.

[01:18:38] But it's just like this dude was literally trying to try

[01:18:41] to Deadpool, explain Deadpool to the creator.

[01:18:44] Ted Deadpool, explain to the create one of the creators

[01:18:48] Deadpool.

[01:18:48] Yeah, because he goes on to talk about like what me

[01:18:51] and Fabian intended in creating the character was X, Y and Z.

[01:18:55] Right.

[01:18:55] But the guy was like the guy was just like in like Adam and on

[01:18:59] the window.

[01:18:59] He meant to make it a Deathstroke clone.

[01:19:02] He was like, well, no, we didn't.

[01:19:04] That's not what I did.

[01:19:05] And I hate that rumor that that became a thing.

[01:19:07] He said if anything, his name is taken from Deathstroke

[01:19:11] and that's where everybody gets this from because the whole

[01:19:13] point was we were making fun of Deathstroke when we when

[01:19:16] we decided to come up with the name.

[01:19:17] Yeah.

[01:19:18] Yeah.

[01:19:18] And I know it's more than that.

[01:19:20] I mean, there are similarities and it would be really funny

[01:19:23] to see those two go toe to toe.

[01:19:25] Yeah.

[01:19:25] But yeah, I mean, he's and Deadpool so much more than

[01:19:29] Deathstroke.

[01:19:30] I mean, they're in literally in two different universes.

[01:19:33] Yeah.

[01:19:34] And they are completely different characters actually mean

[01:19:37] me and Graveyard talk about this on the build all the

[01:19:40] time, but promoting another YouTube channel.

[01:19:43] Guys, if you go and check out Death Battle because we

[01:19:46] talk about death battle all the time.

[01:19:48] There is a fight between Deadpool and Deathstroke and

[01:19:51] Deadpool wins the fight not because more skilled or

[01:19:54] anything like that.

[01:19:55] It's because Deadpool is unpredictable.

[01:19:57] Yeah.

[01:19:57] As the main reason that Deadpool wins is because the way

[01:20:01] they explained it is Deadpool doesn't even know what

[01:20:03] he's about to do.

[01:20:04] He's more Harley light than any other character in DC.

[01:20:08] I think right as far as like they have like very

[01:20:10] similar mindsets.

[01:20:11] They're just like, well, don't you know, I can do

[01:20:14] whatever I want and it's like, no, but that's

[01:20:16] physically impossible.

[01:20:17] Don't tell me what's physically impossible.

[01:20:18] Like, I mean, it's that kind of, you know, it's that

[01:20:21] kind of thing where it's just like they live in their

[01:20:23] own reality and they bring others into it and that's

[01:20:27] yeah.

[01:20:27] So I feel we do that too.

[01:20:31] Yeah.

[01:20:31] Oh yeah.

[01:20:32] Absolutely.

[01:20:35] But it's a reality that has merch.

[01:20:37] Yes.

[01:20:38] Yes, it is a reality that has all the merch people.

[01:20:41] So get your merch today.

[01:20:43] Let us know and we will get that merch out to you.

[01:20:47] Let's have a request for beard merch.

[01:20:50] I'm actually I was just talking to great or putting

[01:20:52] some stuff in there some ideas.

[01:20:53] So I was saying we need a hip no-toed shirt with just

[01:20:56] the beard or it's just like a fake beard.

[01:20:59] Right.

[01:20:59] My you're looking you're looking for dollars or beard

[01:21:02] but that's it or more like the obey, you know, like

[01:21:04] the obey shirts, the fairy course and obey shirts

[01:21:08] with Andre the giant right?

[01:21:09] But it's the beard and it says obey or a beard.

[01:21:12] It's just the beard and it just says obey.

[01:21:14] Well, then why not?

[01:21:15] They're beard.

[01:21:17] They live.

[01:21:17] I mean, we can do that too.

[01:21:18] Like the idea that I have is you know the merch that he

[01:21:23] had for beard in the chair where it was his silhouette

[01:21:27] with the beard right?

[01:21:28] Mm hmm.

[01:21:28] Like get that picture and then start doing our merch

[01:21:31] with with the silhouette with the beard.

[01:21:33] That'd be cool.

[01:21:35] Beard approved.

[01:21:36] Beard approved.

[01:21:37] Ladies and gentlemen, let's talk about the schedule.

[01:21:40] So our schedule is going back to our regular schedule

[01:21:42] starting next week, which I mean.

[01:21:44] Which will be Mondays game streams from 8 to 12 on Monday

[01:21:48] mornings and Tuesdays.

[01:21:49] The download is going back to 6 30 to 8 30 ladies and gentlemen.

[01:21:52] This is our last show in the morning.

[01:21:55] And then Thursday's the build from six to eight where I

[01:21:58] build Lego on stream and talk with, you know, nerdy guests

[01:22:01] and filmmakers and actors and comic creators and all

[01:22:06] that fun stuff.

[01:22:06] So come and check us out on the distance nerding

[01:22:09] channel, whether you subscribe to us on YouTube or you

[01:22:13] subscribe to us on Twitch.

[01:22:15] You know, we streamed a both and come and hang out with us.

[01:22:18] Of course, the Monday game streams are a little more

[01:22:20] interactive because you can use the AI and put stickers

[01:22:25] on screen and be like James and do a thousand farts in

[01:22:29] like two minutes.

[01:22:30] It's amazing.

[01:22:31] Yes.

[01:22:32] Actually, it's funny every now and then Jackie will

[01:22:35] come into the chat and she finally figured out how to

[01:22:37] use the AI.

[01:22:39] Oh no.

[01:22:39] Right.

[01:22:40] So she's she she'll like type in like different things for

[01:22:43] the AI to talk to me, like just to talk shit to me while

[01:22:46] I'm playing games.

[01:22:47] Yeah.

[01:22:47] And you should be mowing the lawn right now and it's amazing

[01:22:50] when when your wife talks shit to you and it comes out on

[01:22:53] screen.

[01:22:57] Before real quick before we jump off.

[01:23:00] Gem state is this coming weekend.

[01:23:03] Yes.

[01:23:03] So there is no Monday game stream.

[01:23:05] That's right.

[01:23:06] That's right.

[01:23:06] If if I do do a game stream on Monday, it will be

[01:23:09] a late stream once we get back and I get everything unpacked

[01:23:13] and kind of like in toward again.

[01:23:14] So if anything, it'll be in the afternoon if I do have it on

[01:23:18] Monday.

[01:23:18] So I'll keep you guys posted on that just because it is a

[01:23:22] long drive.

[01:23:23] So it just depends on when I get home.

[01:23:25] Yeah, I probably I don't know if I'll be on the Tuesday

[01:23:27] show just because I might still be coming back from

[01:23:32] yeah, show from the road.

[01:23:34] Yeah, Roger.

[01:23:35] Yeah.

[01:23:36] But again, as of next week, say one gets his wish and the

[01:23:39] download is back at 6 30 p.m.

[01:23:41] Yeah, we're finally listening to say long.

[01:23:43] Don't get used to it.

[01:23:46] For the first and last time.

[01:23:49] Aaron Watson, no more random game streams in the middle

[01:23:52] of the week.

[01:23:53] The hell am I supposed to do during the day work?

[01:23:54] This is bullshit.

[01:23:58] That's funny.

[01:23:59] Him and great way to look at it him engraved yard or like

[01:24:02] my most faithful watchers on the game streams and all

[01:24:05] they do is just talk shit the whole time and it's glorious.

[01:24:09] Should do you're not going to Chem State this weekend.

[01:24:12] No, I'm not.

[01:24:13] So where can we find you?

[01:24:14] Well, nice.

[01:24:16] It's a really transition.

[01:24:18] I am as a few studios here on YouTube and on Instagram.

[01:24:22] I do short films music, worldbuilding and other nerdy stuff.

[01:24:25] I am also on phrase channel.

[01:24:26] We have a little series called classified where we take

[01:24:29] your favorite pop culture characters and place them

[01:24:31] into their respective DND classes.

[01:24:34] We also have a companion series called journals and classes

[01:24:37] where we go through each of the DND classes and their subclasses.

[01:24:41] We will have a new episode of either classified or journals

[01:24:44] classes coming out soon.

[01:24:45] I think it will be sourcer, but don't quote me on that.

[01:24:52] You've been quoted.

[01:24:55] I said don't.

[01:24:56] I'm in the distance learning sphere.

[01:24:58] I am on the download on Tuesdays.

[01:25:00] We build on Thursdays and this will be starting up soon again.

[01:25:04] Kyber gave productions for the Saturday morning nerd out again.

[01:25:07] Hopefully that is soon again and now for the new order, which

[01:25:10] is not started releasing, but it's recorded.

[01:25:12] All right.

[01:25:12] I like that.

[01:25:13] I like that.

[01:25:13] Lots of teases.

[01:25:14] Lots of like, hey, we're working behind the scenes and stuff's coming.

[01:25:17] I like that.

[01:25:18] Right.

[01:25:19] I was actually kind of hoping that Saturday morning nerd out

[01:25:21] was going to be back on the air before I went back to work.

[01:25:24] But it's funny how Saturday morning nerd out is starting up again,

[01:25:29] like literally the week after I go back to work.

[01:25:32] And some scenario, you can't even do it.

[01:25:34] Yeah.

[01:25:34] Yeah.

[01:25:35] All right.

[01:25:36] Oh well.

[01:25:37] So with that fray.

[01:25:39] Yeah.

[01:25:40] What are your what are your other projects?

[01:25:43] And is there anything you do outside of what you do?

[01:25:46] Just mentioned.

[01:25:46] I'm pretty sure that's what I do.

[01:25:50] Occasionally I bake.

[01:25:51] Sometimes I knit.

[01:25:53] I think that's about it.

[01:25:55] You know, she's working on another show for this channel

[01:25:57] that will eventually come out at some point.

[01:25:58] Yeah.

[01:25:59] Who knows?

[01:25:59] Maybe.

[01:26:00] No, it will.

[01:26:03] And you know, also we do Corgi shorts on fray her on the fray girl

[01:26:10] channel.

[01:26:10] I have I have no hand them though.

[01:26:12] I just no hand or no paw though.

[01:26:15] I might have been in some of them.

[01:26:16] Yeah, he does appear in some of them.

[01:26:18] But yeah, so we we do that.

[01:26:20] I do those.

[01:26:21] I just thought it was funny that Corgi's they're short.

[01:26:24] We have short.

[01:26:25] So yes, that's about it.

[01:26:26] But no, he covered pretty much everything else.

[01:26:27] So I don't even I don't even know.

[01:26:30] So I yeah, I do have I'm going to do a starting a new series

[01:26:35] called Origin Stories and it's going to tell like some of

[01:26:38] the origins of characters but more behind the scenes like

[01:26:43] you know, a lot of people didn't know that Blue Beetle

[01:26:45] actually started well before it came to DC and and Jaime.

[01:26:50] And so I you know, I think the first one is going

[01:26:52] to be about Blue Beetle and then after that it's just

[01:26:55] going to be about fun, cool stories.

[01:26:57] I'm definitely going to talk about how the creator of Wonder

[01:27:01] Woman basically had an open marriage allegedly and yeah,

[01:27:06] all that.

[01:27:07] Okay, more teases.

[01:27:08] I love this.

[01:27:10] So good.

[01:27:12] So yeah, I love it.

[01:27:13] All right.

[01:27:14] Have have something you want to discuss.

[01:27:15] Tell us what you're nerding out on and make sure to let

[01:27:39] that does support Distance Nerding and it helps

[01:27:42] us get more prizes.

[01:27:43] It helps us do more shows and things like that.

[01:27:45] Speaking of prizes, I was going to put out a an

[01:27:51] announcement on Instagram and Facebook later today,

[01:27:53] but I might as well announce it on the episode as well.

[01:28:00] but I'm giving you guys all month the entire month of April

[01:28:02] to get in on this.

[01:28:09] for a while.

[01:28:10] I was going to give away.

[01:28:11] Well, yeah, we never reached the thresholds to give

[01:28:13] that away.

[01:28:14] So I still have it and I haven't given it away.

[01:28:16] And what I'm going to do is we're going to start up

[01:28:18] a new giveaway for this and I'm going to be giving that away.

[01:29:25] then you win.

[01:29:26] Well, if you tag the most people, then you win automatically.

[01:29:56] It's only pictures of Aaron Watson's feet and mandals,

[01:29:58] pictures of the beard and pictures of James's glasses

[01:30:01] sitting on a table also elegantly beautifully sometimes

[01:30:04] on Aaron Watson's feet and mandals.

[01:30:06] Soft lighting.

[01:30:07] Soft lighting.

[01:30:08] Yeah.

[01:30:15] Exactly.

[01:30:16] I was going to say do not take it further than needs to be.

[01:30:18] It is the most tasteful thing ever to see James's glasses

[01:30:20] on Aaron Watson's feet.

[01:30:21] Um, all at distance nerding and of course, I'm waiting for

[01:30:27] Aaron Watson to be like, the fuck is wrong with you, dude?

[01:30:32] And of course you can email us if you'd like us to break

[01:30:35] up with your boyfriend girlfriend significant other pets

[01:30:38] schoolyard bully annoying neighbor or just tell us

[01:30:40] how much you enjoy us, hate us or wish the internet

[01:30:43] would completely consume us and spit us out at the feet

[01:30:46] of the Joker because you were saying that in Watson, but

[01:30:49] okay.

[01:30:50] No, yeah.

[01:30:50] That works too.

[01:30:52] Uh, at the of the Joker folly adieu because Frey hates

[01:30:56] the Joker.

[01:30:56] Um, send us an email at Dist.

[01:31:00] I could go for like a crispy cream, but in the middle

[01:31:05] there's like chicken nuggets, like a little chicken

[01:31:08] little bit of a lighter.

[01:31:10] Oh yeah, cause I can't eat it.

[01:31:12] It's lighter.

[01:31:13] I cannot eat it because there is like a sweet chicken, the

[01:31:16] glazed chicken or whatever.

[01:31:17] Yeah.

[01:31:17] There are sweet, sweet chicken.

[01:31:19] She can't eat it because the coconut.

[01:31:20] Yeah, they fried.

[01:31:21] They fried in like palm oil.

[01:31:22] What's coconut?

[01:31:23] Yeah, you can't have donuts anymore because of the

[01:31:25] they fried in palm oil and they don't differentiate palm

[01:31:28] oil that sometimes it has coconut oil in it.

[01:31:31] So I can't have it.

[01:31:31] Wow.

[01:31:32] So bad.

[01:31:33] And so I'm going to eat Frey share.

[01:31:38] It's nerding at AOL dot com and we will read it on the show.

[01:31:42] I love that every time I tried to stop it, there was like

[01:31:45] another person chiming in.

[01:31:46] I'm like, I'm trying to end it.

[01:31:52] So ladies and gentlemen, that is it from us.

[01:31:55] We don't take things too far, not us.

[01:31:58] Were you trying to keep the show moving but people were

[01:32:02] going off on tangents?

[01:32:03] Is that the problem that was happening?

[01:32:05] Every episode.

[01:32:06] Sir every episode.
