[00:00:00] Warning, this chapter of Distance NERDing was recorded live which means there may be
[00:00:04] strong language unsuitable for children and unusual humor which may be unsuitable
[00:00:09] for everyone who claims to be human.
[00:00:11] Perennial discretion is advised.
[00:00:30] Welcome everybody!
[00:00:49] It is now time.
[00:00:51] It is the weekend after gym state or the day after gym state or whatever.
[00:00:57] We are somewhere in some capacity.
[00:01:02] It is Taco Tuesday!
[00:01:04] That's what it is.
[00:01:05] And you know what that means.
[00:01:08] You are now watching and listening and experiencing Distance NERDing.
[00:01:16] He's our dunk and the egg.
[00:01:19] It should do.
[00:01:23] Oh, he's Maximus de Quimos Young Filios!
[00:01:29] It's Young Fil!
[00:01:31] That would be decimus.
[00:01:33] Yes, we'll go with that and we're here to NERDing together.
[00:01:38] I have qualms.
[00:01:39] I'll tell you about later.
[00:01:42] It's Maximus decimus young filious.
[00:01:44] We're talking about anything pop culture news, music, food, resting, comics, comic cons,
[00:01:49] whatever you're nerding out on.
[00:01:51] We want to talk about it.
[00:01:53] Who is that?
[00:01:54] My voice is still coming back.
[00:01:56] Ladies and gentlemen, follow us on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, threads, YouTube,
[00:02:00] Discord, all those places all at Distance NERDing.
[00:02:03] And of course you can email us at your favorite place, the only place that is cool to email
[00:02:09] anybody that is at Dist.
[00:02:12] So really the whole thing here is that in Classical Latin they did not have the whole
[00:02:18] C in the Nii and E being, it's just a CUS.
[00:02:21] So it's just a K sound.
[00:02:23] And so I'm just pronouncing it in correct Classical Latin as the Romans of that period would
[00:02:28] have pronounced it even in Vorgilatin that would have meant...
[00:02:32] Oh, oh.
[00:02:33] Okay.
[00:02:34] It's nerding at alw.com and we will read it on the show.
[00:02:39] I dig the whole lesson in Latin.
[00:02:43] It just accentuates the amount of nerd that you are.
[00:02:49] It's the part of my nerdiness I don't get to use very often.
[00:02:52] Yeah, it's just one of those.
[00:02:53] You want to know how nerdy I am?
[00:02:55] This nerd.
[00:02:56] I'm a logistics nerd.
[00:02:57] Exactly.
[00:02:58] And that's an awesome nerd to be.
[00:03:00] Sketchy Guy in Nevada.
[00:03:02] Yes, it is Cobra Commander and I do love this shirt.
[00:03:06] This actually shout out to Tater.
[00:03:08] He got me this shirt.
[00:03:10] I want to say it at a Medford.
[00:03:13] It was one of the shows in Medford, Oregon.
[00:03:15] Cool.
[00:03:16] Cool.
[00:03:17] Yeah.
[00:03:18] So it's good stuff, you know?
[00:03:19] You know?
[00:03:20] Now ladies and gentlemen, before we get into everything that we're doing just so you know,
[00:03:25] you have now stumbled onto the best kept secret on the internet.
[00:03:28] You are now watching Bumpa-Bump.
[00:03:30] Other down low.
[00:03:40] Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you're watching the download.
[00:03:51] You are here.
[00:03:52] We are here.
[00:03:53] It is time and let's get right into all of the fun of our show.
[00:03:59] Let's get right into what's on deck this week on deck.
[00:04:02] We've got the geek end update.
[00:04:03] The potatoes have been cooked.
[00:04:05] They have been cooked.
[00:04:06] Oh, yeah.
[00:04:07] No, they were cooked.
[00:04:08] They were cooked.
[00:04:09] They were cooked for sure.
[00:04:10] Oh, yeah.
[00:04:11] You know?
[00:04:12] Lights, camera, reaction, all the Star Wars.
[00:04:17] All the time.
[00:04:20] Staten rumors is the fantastic for leaving the MCU behind.
[00:04:25] I wonder.
[00:04:26] And of course, capping off the show today we've got the download.
[00:04:30] So what came first?
[00:04:31] The dunk or the egg?
[00:04:33] Um, does that mean it could be dunking?
[00:04:36] It could be agon, the tar, uh, it could be a gum, uh, a gum Targaryen.
[00:04:39] Well, I mean, I mean, agon is, is younger than dunking so it would be dunking.
[00:04:45] Yeah, the dunk came first.
[00:04:47] Right.
[00:04:48] All right.
[00:04:49] But of course, before we get into all of that ladies and gentlemen, let me do this correctly.
[00:04:53] Let me get a shout out.
[00:04:55] Ladies and gentlemen, we are down to one sponsor and our sponsor now still continues to be
[00:05:02] dubby.
[00:05:04] Yes, ladies and gentlemen, dubby is a brand of energy drink.
[00:05:07] It's created to help focus concentration reaction time with no jitters or crash.
[00:05:11] W contains no metal, extra no sugars, no fillers, no artificial colors or dies.
[00:05:16] And you know what?
[00:05:17] What makes dubby different from all the other energy supplements that are out there?
[00:05:20] All the other gaming supplements that are out there.
[00:05:22] Let me tell you what it is.
[00:05:23] Dubby contains neurofactor.
[00:05:25] Neurofactor is a neurotropic derived from the coffee fruit.
[00:05:29] Neurofactor helps give your brain focus in clarity while 150 milligrams of caffeine
[00:05:32] and three essential B vitamins help keep you alert and energized.
[00:05:36] Ladies and gentlemen, if you want to find out more about W head over to www.w.w.ggg and use
[00:05:43] the code nerding 10 to get 10% off your order flavor wise.
[00:05:50] What do you think I should make up here today?
[00:05:52] What do you guys think I should make up here today?
[00:05:54] Well, first of all, what are the options?
[00:05:56] Oh, man, I've got all the flavors.
[00:05:57] So I mean, oh James, I did not do the Friends Try Hat because like an idiot, I left it
[00:06:02] here when I was grabbing everything.
[00:06:04] And when I told Ming about it, he was like, I totally would have wore that even if I would
[00:06:09] have won or lost.
[00:06:10] I don't care.
[00:06:11] I wouldn't want to.
[00:06:12] We're going to talk about that.
[00:06:14] Ming is probably one of the most amazing people I've ever met but.
[00:06:17] Uh, flavors, flavors, flavors.
[00:06:20] All right.
[00:06:21] So I've got...
[00:06:24] Galaxy grenade.
[00:06:25] I've got dragon aid.
[00:06:27] I've got calio cream.
[00:06:28] I've got dub sludge.
[00:06:30] I've got big energy tears.
[00:06:33] Some push and punch.
[00:06:34] Uh, I have a Neba elixir and I have Merck Mayhem.
[00:06:39] Ooh.
[00:06:40] Oh, cams saying I need to do the Merck Mayhem in the dub sludge.
[00:06:44] Calio and tears I've done.
[00:06:46] I like the idea because I don't think I've mixed any of the new flavors yet.
[00:06:50] So I like the idea of dub sludge and Merck madness.
[00:06:54] So let's do that.
[00:06:55] I'm going to do Merck madness.
[00:06:56] One scoop of Merck madness here, which is the cherry lime eight.
[00:06:59] And a scoop of dub sludge, which is a Granny Smith apple.
[00:07:06] And quote unquote secret sauce, which I believe is more cherry.
[00:07:11] Okay.
[00:07:12] So like kind of cherry citrusy apple.
[00:07:15] Yeah, actually kind of it's it's it's actually tech.
[00:07:18] Okay, so some of the stuff with dubbie, like some of the flavors that they do,
[00:07:21] you wouldn't think that they be things that went well together and they're amazing.
[00:07:25] Yeah.
[00:07:26] And this kind of sludge, you wouldn't think that Granny Smith apple and cherry would be like something that's like,
[00:07:30] Oh my god, that's so good.
[00:07:31] It kind of sounds good.
[00:07:33] I mean, I know or or galaxy grenade kind of threw me off its watermelon guava and lime.
[00:07:39] Right?
[00:07:40] I mean those are not necessarily odd flavors.
[00:07:42] But I mean, like it's not something.
[00:07:43] Right, but you don't immediately think of like, Oh, yeah, we got the better.
[00:07:47] Yeah, it's getting mixed.
[00:07:48] Let's do that, right?
[00:07:49] You know, so so that's that's what I'm going with here today guys.
[00:07:53] these back a little bit.
[00:07:54] I want to be able to do a W cocktail 2.0 this weekend.
[00:07:57] Oh, I mean, you're gonna have to get all the flavors
[00:07:59] and do that then.
[00:08:00] Okay, so let's try this out here.
[00:08:02] Let's see what these flavors taste like.
[00:08:04] It's got a complete deliciousness here.
[00:08:06] Interesting.
[00:08:07] Like it's not bad.
[00:08:08] Nothing's ever bad in the mix here,
[00:08:10] but it almost made like a cola flavor out of it.
[00:08:13] Huh, that's an interesting mix.
[00:08:15] So I'd hate it, gotcha.
[00:08:17] Uh, sir.
[00:08:17] You don't like cola?
[00:08:19] No.
[00:08:19] You're not a Coke fan?
[00:08:20] What the hell, man?
[00:08:21] Nope.
[00:08:22] Not a soda person at all on second tasting.
[00:08:26] It's even better.
[00:08:27] Just ignore the chip pickle juice.
[00:08:28] I am ignoring the pickle juice.
[00:08:29] I saw the pickle juicing dub.
[00:08:31] Please tell the graphic department to add a drop shadow
[00:08:36] to the next or outline create separation from the background.
[00:08:39] There is a drop shadow behind that used the code nerding 10.
[00:08:43] Oh, oh, that's okay.
[00:08:45] He's just hating because he didn't make it.
[00:08:47] You don't get to talk to me like a really,
[00:08:49] you look a really hefty shadow.
[00:08:50] Yeah, you don't get to talk smack if you're not the one making it.
[00:08:55] Do better than make a better one and send it to me.
[00:08:57] Do it now.
[00:08:58] Can we install throwing work games?
[00:08:59] Exactly.
[00:09:03] Oh yeah, sketchy guy in a bad accent.
[00:09:09] All right, so let's get into the next part here
[00:09:12] because ladies and gentlemen, it is time for other geek
[00:09:14] and update.
[00:09:16] Oh.
[00:09:24] This just in distance.
[00:09:25] Thirding is on Comic Con radio.
[00:09:33] That's right, ladies and gentlemen,
[00:09:35] listen to distance and our second show
[00:09:37] a comic conversation be a Comic Con radio.com
[00:09:40] look for the distance nerding.
[00:09:42] My screen just went blank.
[00:09:43] OK, look for the distance nerding podcasts
[00:09:45] including this episode and a new comic conversation each week
[00:09:49] on Comic Con radio, Comic Condasheradio.com slash podcasts.
[00:09:53] Apparently should do is not allowed to ever do.
[00:09:56] I know there was, you know, there was one incident
[00:09:59] and I just have have barred myself from it.
[00:10:02] The consensus is you are not allowed to do it.
[00:10:04] Yeah, so for the remainder of every.
[00:10:08] But with that on there though, ladies and gentlemen,
[00:10:11] Comic Conversation is coming back.
[00:10:13] I am going to be going in full overdrive
[00:10:16] with like all the episodes that we have over the course
[00:10:19] of this next month because I'm trying
[00:10:21] to have all the gem state Comic Con episodes out
[00:10:26] before next month.
[00:10:29] With that being said, ladies and gentlemen,
[00:10:31] still head over to Comic Con radio.comicondasheradio.com slash podcasts
[00:10:37] listen to both of our shows and get to get
[00:10:41] that con experience even if you don't didn't go to the show.
[00:10:44] Now speaking of this weekend and how everything went,
[00:10:48] ladies and gentlemen, this weekend is say
[00:10:50] Wong's in the chat asking, how was Idaho?
[00:10:52] I'm going to get to that right now.
[00:10:54] This weekend we were in, we were in Boise, Idaho for
[00:10:58] gem state Comic Con.
[00:11:00] And for the first time history was made because I met
[00:11:07] Frey and I met Husby and me and Chuck are like two
[00:11:10] peas in a freaking pod.
[00:11:12] I knew you would be.
[00:11:13] Yeah, yeah.
[00:11:14] Me and Chuck are our, we are, it's a,
[00:11:18] it's hetero man love going on between the two of us.
[00:11:22] We bonded over the army and alcohol and it was great.
[00:11:26] And then food came into play and we bonded over food to it was great.
[00:11:29] We had such a good time.
[00:11:32] And I was not part of this.
[00:11:34] No.
[00:11:34] Now it was also Chuck's birthday over the weekend.
[00:11:38] And we got to meet someone that he is a fan of.
[00:11:43] We guys mean a lot of people he's a fan of,
[00:11:44] but someone in particular we hung out a lot with now
[00:11:49] friend of the pod and star of comic book man Ming Chen.
[00:11:53] And it wasn't just hey, how's it going?
[00:11:55] Nice to meet you.
[00:11:56] We are like legit friends with Ming Chen now.
[00:11:59] I have the man's phone number.
[00:12:01] The first thing I did, first thing he did when I met him
[00:12:03] because we had already been talking over DM.
[00:12:06] He goes, he puts the face to the words and everything.
[00:12:10] And the first thing he goes, hey, take down my number.
[00:12:11] We're going to go out tonight, right?
[00:12:12] And then basically we were just like, okay cool.
[00:12:16] You know, we asked, he asked us, oh, when are you guys
[00:12:18] going back?
[00:12:19] When you guys going home, I was like, well, we're driving up
[00:12:21] back down Monday morning.
[00:12:22] He goes, I'm flying out Monday morning.
[00:12:23] We're getting drunk on Sunday too.
[00:12:25] It was great, right?
[00:12:28] I was already a fan of the guy.
[00:12:31] I am 10 times more because I'm already a fan of my friends
[00:12:35] right?
[00:12:36] But I'm like 10 times more of a fan of the guy.
[00:12:39] Now that I know the kind of person that he is
[00:12:41] and he's just awesome, you know, there was one day
[00:12:44] there was one of these days where we fought over who
[00:12:47] was going to pay for the meals.
[00:12:49] And he was like, you want to go have them?
[00:12:50] And I was like, that's fine.
[00:12:51] We can go have his goes.
[00:12:52] All right, cool.
[00:12:53] He wasn't expecting it.
[00:12:54] You know what I mean?
[00:12:55] So the show itself was just, there were two main headliners
[00:13:00] and then a whole bunch of just massive guests.
[00:13:03] We had Sean Aston who is the most lovely man in existence.
[00:13:07] I love Sean Aston.
[00:13:08] I love Sean Aston already.
[00:13:10] I love him more after meeting him and talking to him, right?
[00:13:13] Because the guy loves his fans so much
[00:13:16] and he knows how to both take and dish out jokes.
[00:13:20] Nice.
[00:13:21] Right?
[00:13:22] At one point he said something
[00:13:24] and I was like, Tricks and a little Hatsus
[00:13:25] and he goes, pull.
[00:13:26] It looks over at me like in shock
[00:13:28] and then it proceeds to deliver Lord of the Rings lines to me.
[00:13:32] As Sam Wise Gamji.
[00:13:34] Man!
[00:13:35] It was great.
[00:13:37] You know?
[00:13:38] Or I made a joke about, so whenever you go to Hawaii
[00:13:43] do you wear a mesh crop top whenever you go there now?
[00:13:46] And from there he 100% becomes Doug.
[00:13:51] And just starts talking Doug.
[00:13:55] It was great man.
[00:13:56] It was so much fun and he told so many stories.
[00:14:00] We didn't even get the chance to talk to any stranger things.
[00:14:02] But like he was just telling stories
[00:14:04] and having a bunch of fun, right?
[00:14:06] So he had a good time.
[00:14:07] And then the next day, the headliner for that day
[00:14:09] was Colin Baker, the sixth doctor
[00:14:12] who was also massively hilarious.
[00:14:14] You know, and the man was just dropping jokes
[00:14:17] and telling stories
[00:14:18] and just he was just telling all the best stories, right?
[00:14:22] So then we also got to talk with Gigi Edgeley
[00:14:24] from far escape and talk about her career
[00:14:26] and her music and everything that she does,
[00:14:28] and she's like, I'm going to go to the club and talk about
[00:14:32] just kind of starting out as an extra
[00:14:35] and then just becoming kind of like a mainstay background actor
[00:14:40] in every movie that you've ever seen.
[00:14:42] Brian A. Prince was there.
[00:14:44] He didn't do an interview with him.
[00:14:45] But I mean, as always, I got to say
[00:14:47] what's up to my boy Brian.
[00:14:48] Spencer Wilding is one of my new favorite people
[00:14:51] because the guy, you wouldn't expect it.
[00:14:54] This is two times that we've met Darth Vader
[00:14:57] and they're both completely hilarious.
[00:14:59] Right?
[00:15:00] He told us this story
[00:15:02] and you guys will hear it soon in the next month,
[00:15:04] but he told us this story
[00:15:06] about on the set of Game of Thrones
[00:15:09] when he was playing the White Walker.
[00:15:11] He did this whole thing where he took a sword,
[00:15:13] he jumped over a ditch,
[00:15:14] did like this whole Spartan move and everything
[00:15:16] and he landed wrong
[00:15:17] and then just fell into the ditch behind him.
[00:15:19] No.
[00:15:21] And not only did he tell the story,
[00:15:23] but he acted it out and it was stupid funny.
[00:15:27] Of course Ming was there.
[00:15:28] Again, like I said, Ming Chen.
[00:15:31] Now now one of the coolest people ever,
[00:15:34] he is 100% trying to come back
[00:15:37] to more colossus girl shows
[00:15:38] because he had so much fun
[00:15:40] doing the cosplay contest
[00:15:42] that he wants to do more of those shows.
[00:15:45] And he was just like,
[00:15:46] and if you guys are telling me,
[00:15:47] he goes, if you guys are doing the interviews
[00:15:49] because he goes, you guys kick ass doing interviews
[00:15:51] because if you guys are doing all the interviews
[00:15:53] and that just means we get to hang out
[00:15:54] like every couple of months.
[00:15:55] Nice.
[00:15:56] So that's like super cool.
[00:15:57] We met Tony Oliver.
[00:15:58] This one I know James is really upset
[00:16:00] he didn't get to meet.
[00:16:02] But we met Rick Hunter himself
[00:16:04] and Tony Oliver is amazing.
[00:16:06] He is a great guy.
[00:16:07] He was really funny.
[00:16:11] We had a good conversation with him, of course.
[00:16:13] Friend of the show Marie Westbrook was there.
[00:16:15] I know you're upset about that one.
[00:16:17] I was upset about that
[00:16:19] because I'm somewhat familiar with some of her work
[00:16:21] and she seems really cool.
[00:16:23] Though I did happen to get a
[00:16:25] personalized little video with her from Frey.
[00:16:28] So yeah, your mom was telling me
[00:16:32] that she got this video
[00:16:34] and you got really excited
[00:16:36] and then you got upset
[00:16:38] and Chuck immediately goes,
[00:16:40] yeah Liam has a type.
[00:16:42] Oh.
[00:16:43] He goes, Liam has a type 100%.
[00:16:45] She's it.
[00:16:47] I was like, it's a good type to have.
[00:16:49] She's hot.
[00:16:49] So I mean like, I have many types
[00:16:51] but yeah, that is indeed one of them.
[00:16:55] And then of course we met Sam Kwasman.
[00:16:58] Again, really funny guy, Donald Duck.
[00:17:01] And he played Little Quacker in the Tom and Jerry series
[00:17:07] and the guy is just really funny
[00:17:09] and it's funny like you know,
[00:17:12] we had him do a quack off between Little Quackers
[00:17:14] and Donald Duck.
[00:17:16] He was like, I mean can you guys
[00:17:18] even tell the difference between the character
[00:17:19] because I can't?
[00:17:21] He's a comedian too.
[00:17:23] So just like his comedic timing was perfect.
[00:17:25] He was just really funny.
[00:17:26] I'm gonna quack you up.
[00:17:27] No, I'm gonna quack you up.
[00:17:28] Oh no, he made jokes like that.
[00:17:30] He made a joke about, he goes outside of this
[00:17:32] I'm just a stripper at the old folks home.
[00:17:34] You know, they just like,
[00:17:35] he goes, he goes, all it is
[00:17:37] is that they forget the next day
[00:17:39] and then I get to just get all the same tips next day.
[00:17:42] He was funny man.
[00:17:43] He really had to get everybody going.
[00:17:45] Then of course cosplay contest
[00:17:46] all the artists that were there,
[00:17:47] all the merch, all the food.
[00:17:50] They had food trucks there.
[00:17:54] A bunch of amazing cosplayers.
[00:17:56] Oh my God, it was so packed.
[00:17:58] I was like, are we not in L.A. right now?
[00:18:00] I've never, we've been doing
[00:18:02] gemstate Comic Con for three years now, right?
[00:18:05] It's never been this packed.
[00:18:07] Same venue.
[00:18:07] It has never been this packed.
[00:18:09] This is, it was amazing to see.
[00:18:11] Well good, good, good, good.
[00:18:12] I'm glad that people are actually realizing exists
[00:18:15] and actually giving more, more frustration with it.
[00:18:19] Yeah, no, it was a great show.
[00:18:22] Very, very happy that it turned out the way it did.
[00:18:25] James is saying, Robo Tech deserves all the flowers.
[00:18:29] It's again, we made it clear to Tony
[00:18:36] that James was upset that he wasn't there.
[00:18:40] But James to make up for it,
[00:18:42] Tony is gonna come on the show.
[00:18:44] So we should see that hopefully soon, man.
[00:18:48] Yeah, Sam was amazing.
[00:18:49] I had an amazing conversation with him before.
[00:18:51] A con open on Sunday and a real estate agent.
[00:18:55] It had, Cam, it has grown so much over the year.
[00:18:57] It was really packed, man.
[00:18:59] So yeah, Tony Oliver is gonna come on the show.
[00:19:02] Spencer Wilding is coming on the show.
[00:19:05] Let's see, let's see anybody else from the show.
[00:19:07] Sam Quasmin is gonna be coming on the show.
[00:19:09] So we're gonna have Donald Duck himself on the show.
[00:19:11] It's gonna be great.
[00:19:12] We're gonna have a great time with all of that.
[00:19:15] So ladies and gentlemen, that leads into the next show
[00:19:18] because our next show is Beaver State Comic Con.
[00:19:21] Oh, that's an amazing logo.
[00:19:24] I know it's an awesome.
[00:19:25] So Beaver State Comic Con and Benda Oregon,

[00:19:39] she played the Empress in a The Neverending Story.

[00:19:51] who is most famous for JoJo's bizarre adventures
[00:19:54] and Gingen Impact.
[00:19:55] And of course we'll probably see more guests there.
[00:20:00] There's actually a good chance
[00:20:01] that Ming might actually show up to that one
[00:20:02] because he said he wants us to go to every show.
[00:20:04] Oh, well got it.
[00:20:05] Yeah, so.
[00:20:06] Well, let's drag him along with us.
[00:20:08] Exactly, exactly.
[00:20:09] I mean, I have his direct phone number now.
[00:20:12] So like, you know, like in,
[00:20:13] we were texting all Monday.
[00:20:16] Nice.
[00:20:16] And just like texting each other pictures
[00:20:18] from the weekend and everything like that.
[00:20:19] It was great.
[00:20:20] Nice.
[00:20:21] Yeah, DeShoot's sketchy and a bad guy saying,
[00:20:24] so we say, Wong said, is this, where is this in Iowa?

[00:20:54] Sketchy guy Nevada, we are doing two shows
[00:20:56] in Nevada this year.
[00:20:58] We are gonna be doing Silver Age Comic Con
[00:21:00] because that's a part of Colossus Girl.
[00:21:04] So we do Silver Age Comic Con.
[00:21:07] We'll be talking about that once we get closer to that show.
[00:21:10] And then we're gonna be doing KaboomCon in Carson City this year,
[00:21:15] which should be closer towards the end of the year.
[00:21:18] So be on the lookout, sketchy guy Nevada.
[00:21:20] If you wanna catch a sight at any shows,
[00:21:22] we are doing two shows in Nevada this year.
[00:21:25] So that being said, let's get into the next part portion here.
[00:21:29] It is now time.
[00:21:31] Cool, let's get to that Gem State Comic Con recap.
[00:21:34] I'm excited.
[00:21:34] Let's talk.
[00:21:36] So let's talk about Gem State again.
[00:21:38] Absolutely not, James, you were late for that.
[00:21:40] So let's go now like the start plan.
[00:21:44] We are moving on to the download.
[00:21:46] Okay, skip me versus.
[00:21:48] I don't know where they getting their nose
[00:21:51] but I'm not mad at tonight.
[00:21:54] It goes through all this gossip robots.
[00:21:57] I was gossip rumors with you.
[00:22:00] Will you will you?
[00:22:02] I wanna stop some rumors with you.
[00:22:05] Okay, then I have to just run the transition again.
[00:22:08] Like many boffins, we are starting some rooms.
[00:22:11] That's good.
[00:22:14] I like that.
[00:22:15] Hey.
[00:22:16] Not bad, not bad.
[00:22:17] All right, Marvel's X-Men 97 animated series
[00:22:20] has some new rumors circulating
[00:22:23] according to a report by the end of season one of X-Men 97.
[00:22:29] The X-Men team will be sporting some new bad ass
[00:22:33] superhero suits.
[00:22:34] I said bad ass, get sketchy guy.
[00:22:36] That's the drink.
[00:22:37] In the chat.
[00:22:39] Talk goes on the table.
[00:22:41] Are we getting new suits for the blue team?
[00:22:43] Maybe the red team?
[00:22:44] What are you think is gonna happen?
[00:22:45] Oh, maybe.
[00:22:47] So I do see them kind of updating the suits.
[00:22:50] It's been a little while since they've had a complete update.
[00:22:53] Since 97, you know what I'm saying?
[00:22:55] Well, at least for these versions of the characters
[00:22:57] there have been updates to the costumes
[00:22:58] in different iterations and different cartoons.
[00:23:01] But it'd be kind of cool to see
[00:23:02] how they upgrade, update their costumes within this universe.
[00:23:06] You know what I mean?
[00:23:07] But my tacos are on the table.
[00:23:09] Yeah.
[00:23:09] Chadooski?
[00:23:11] My kind of...
[00:23:14] I don't know, they're...
[00:23:15] You're in the taco?
[00:23:16] Well, I mean, they're different.
[00:23:19] They're different tacos.
[00:23:20] But you know, but...
[00:23:21] I just think, well, you know,
[00:23:23] I mean, maybe the taco doesn't believe in that.
[00:23:25] Maybe it's, you know, the taco is different
[00:23:30] and yet hasn't really discovered why they're different yet.
[00:23:34] Oh, you know, it's just...
[00:23:35] Yeah, you're angry, shape shifting.
[00:23:39] Yeah, the taco is occasionally a burrito,
[00:23:44] occasionally a case of the...
[00:23:45] Sometimes that burrito's blue.
[00:23:47] Just write some of the burritos blue.
[00:23:49] Some of them just turn.
[00:23:50] Firm.
[00:23:51] Yeah.
[00:23:52] Though what it's a chimichanga
[00:23:53] you probably don't want to get very close to it.
[00:23:56] That's not a very good idea at all.
[00:23:58] Sometimes it has a...
[00:23:59] Sometimes it has a stripe of sour cream on top of it.
[00:24:03] Right, there's that.
[00:24:04] And sometimes it's just really windy next to the taco.
[00:24:06] Really windy?
[00:24:08] I don't know what's happening.
[00:24:11] But it makes me laugh.
[00:24:13] Sandra from Jolong family said that they need more dancing tacos.
[00:24:17] The kid loves it.
[00:24:18] Oh, nice.
[00:24:19] That's awesome.
[00:24:20] Shout out to the Jolong family.
[00:24:21] They're awesome.
[00:24:23] My tacos are on the table.
[00:24:24] I think they will find a way to...
[00:24:29] Go from X-Men 97 into their own thing.
[00:24:32] I think they're going to kind of evolve and like,
[00:24:34] hey, we're going to play off nostalgia,
[00:24:36] but we're going to amp it up just like the way
[00:24:38] masters of the universe amped it have been.
[00:24:40] Like, hey, we have an homage to the original
[00:24:42] and we love it.
[00:24:43] You know, we grew up on it.
[00:24:45] But now let's make it a new thing.
[00:24:46] I think they're going to make this a new thing.
[00:24:49] Sell a lot of toys.
[00:24:50] What if they end up making the new suits
[00:24:52] like all black leather suits like the X-Men movies?
[00:24:56] Oh, no.
[00:24:57] I hope they don't.
[00:24:57] I really hope they don't.
[00:24:59] That'd be full circle.
[00:25:00] That'd be good.
[00:25:01] Cool.
[00:25:02] Those are them tacos.
[00:25:04] All right.
[00:25:04] And moving from one previously animated show
[00:25:08] that got moved into the modern era to another show
[00:25:12] that was at one point in animated show
[00:25:14] that is now getting a proper live action adaptation.
[00:25:17] Some new Worma details have surfaced
[00:25:19] for Marvel's The Fantastic Four.
[00:25:22] They involve the films alternate universe setting
[00:25:24] and the birth of Reed and Sue Sun Franklin,
[00:25:27] a poster with police for the film featuring Joseph Quinn's
[00:25:29] Johnny Storm is the human torch flying through the sky.
[00:25:31] There was also one other interesting detail
[00:25:34] which includes a cool retro looking
[00:25:36] 1960s version of Central City,
[00:25:38] the home of the Fantastic Four.
[00:25:40] According to the rumors, the movie most likely
[00:25:41] will be set in an alternate universe,
[00:25:43] a retro futuristic universe.
[00:25:46] We know that the space race is a big inspiration
[00:25:48] for the film as well, but an alternate timeline space race
[00:25:51] will be interesting.
[00:25:52] Another report claims that Reed, Richard and Sue
[00:25:54] Sun's children will be introduced in the film
[00:25:56] as a possibility it soon will be pregnant
[00:25:58] when she's introduced.
[00:25:59] It's explained that she will later give birth
[00:26:00] to Franklin Richards in space.
[00:26:03] In space.
[00:26:04] In space.
[00:26:05] In space.
[00:26:06] So, tacos at a table, are we getting
[00:26:09] a different MCU for FF4?
[00:26:11] Um, I'm not against the idea of this,
[00:26:15] but also that could explain,
[00:26:17] that give a little bit of origin specifically to,
[00:26:22] to, uh, I'll put some of them forgetting his name right now.
[00:26:25] He's the first story we're going to cover in the download.
[00:26:27] What?
[00:26:28] Jonathan Majors?
[00:26:29] Jonathan Majors.
[00:26:30] King of the Conqueror.
[00:26:31] That's what I'm talking about.
[00:26:32] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:26:33] That could give a little bit of explanation
[00:26:34] into the background of King of the Conqueror
[00:26:36] because what if the, like,
[00:26:38] the origin king is from this universe?
[00:26:42] Ooh, that'd be interesting.
[00:26:44] Yeah.
[00:26:45] Yeah, cool.
[00:26:46] I see where you're going.
[00:26:47] All right.
[00:26:48] I mean, I think that that would be a cool idea, you know?
[00:26:50] Uh, tacos are on the table.
[00:26:51] It doesn't, it makes all the sense to put them
[00:26:54] in an alternate universe that also explains
[00:26:56] why they haven't been around in this universe
[00:26:58] and you can do an original origin story
[00:27:01] that explains why they weren't there
[00:27:03] and why they're there now.
[00:27:04] Right.
[00:27:05] I also wonder what, I guess,
[00:27:07] I do like the whole idea that it's like,
[00:27:09] oh, it's an alternate space race.
[00:27:10] So it could be that, you know,
[00:27:12] we could, again, introduce Dr. Doom or something.
[00:27:14] We could have where it's, you know,
[00:27:17] psychobia when, you know, goes to the moon first or something
[00:27:20] or helps the Soviets go to the moon first or something
[00:27:22] and we get kind of a different,
[00:27:23] almost an alternate history thing as well.
[00:27:25] Mm-hmm.
[00:27:26] Mm-hmm.
[00:27:27] So my time is on the table.
[00:27:29] It seems more than likely, you know,
[00:27:31] especially with the artwork that we're getting
[00:27:33] that we're going to have some kind of alternate,
[00:27:36] you know, very 60s vibe reality.
[00:27:39] This is my thought.
[00:27:40] I think we've seen it already.
[00:27:43] I think maybe in the Marvels when,
[00:27:46] when what's her name by then?
[00:27:48] Monica Rambo.
[00:27:50] And Monica, yeah, when she,
[00:27:51] I didn't know if it was like Pulsar or whatever.
[00:27:53] I don't think she has a book in there.
[00:27:55] She's spectrum in this universe.
[00:27:57] They made a reference to it and then movie that, you know,
[00:28:00] maybe we can call you spectrums.
[00:28:02] She's like, no.
[00:28:03] But her mom is Pulsar.
[00:28:06] A Pulsar of them.
[00:28:07] In that universe.
[00:28:09] That's why I think we are.
[00:28:10] I think Fantastic Four takes place in that universe.
[00:28:14] Ooh.
[00:28:14] So that's Fantastic Four and X-Men
[00:28:16] in the same universe because Beast,
[00:28:18] you know, obviously, you have Beast in that scene plus animation.
[00:28:21] And it was a much more X-Men 97 style, right?
[00:28:24] Yes.
[00:28:25] And he, and he, yes, quite right, right.
[00:28:27] And he, and he mentions,
[00:28:29] specifically mentions Professor X.
[00:28:31] So it could even be.
[00:28:33] He was, he was the wild, the wild theory,
[00:28:35] my phrasey without fray here theory,
[00:28:38] that the reason they're doing X-Men 97 now
[00:28:41] is because we're going to meet those X-Men in Fantastic Four.
[00:28:45] Oh, look at you.
[00:28:46] You smart cinema.
[00:28:47] So good.
[00:28:50] I like that.
[00:28:51] That is good.
[00:28:52] So yeah.
[00:28:52] So my stretchy flaming invisible silvery.
[00:29:00] Silvery.
[00:29:01] Silvery.
[00:29:02] What's the, and Harold?
[00:29:06] Haroldy planet-sized tacos are on the table.
[00:29:10] Oh, okay.
[00:29:10] I like it.
[00:29:11] Yeah, minor on the, on the table too, I think.
[00:29:13] I think we're, they're going to be in that universe
[00:29:15] with the X-Men and I think that's going to give us
[00:29:18] a nice fresh like take on things where we can be like,
[00:29:20] oh, we don't have to play by all the rules.
[00:29:22] We don't have to wait for Captain America
[00:29:25] to show up in the background, that sort of thing.
[00:29:26] We can have our own thing
[00:29:29] and Kevin Feige has his own like new set of toys to play with
[00:29:33] over in this universe.
[00:29:34] Right.
[00:29:35] Whenever they want to go like, yeah, let's smash
[00:29:37] him together then they'll get there.
[00:29:38] Who's secret wars?
[00:29:39] There'll be an incursion at the end of it
[00:29:41] or something because of the colitis.
[00:29:42] I don't know.
[00:29:43] Oh, I like the idea of that too.
[00:29:45] I like it.
[00:29:46] Absolutely.
[00:29:47] I already said my tacos were on the table.
[00:29:49] I gave my explanation at the top.
[00:29:50] So nothing worked out there.
[00:29:51] Second helping and tacos.
[00:29:52] Good for you.
[00:29:53] Cool.
[00:29:54] Yeah.
[00:29:56] There it is right here.
[00:29:57] Sketch you guy Nevada.
[00:29:58] Didn't the actor that plays King go to jail?
[00:30:00] So was he conquered?
[00:30:01] Speaking of.
[00:30:03] I know.
[00:30:04] It's actually a really good segue because ladies and gentlemen,
[00:30:08] whoo, let's get the bad news out of the way.
[00:30:10] Just just oh wait, hold on before we get the bad news out
[00:30:13] of the way.
[00:30:14] You got the download?
[00:30:15] It is time to get it to the news.
[00:30:17] That's it for rumors.
[00:30:19] It's time for the download.
[00:30:20] One small step for man.
[00:30:29] One giant stretch for Reed Rich.
[00:30:31] Uh oh.
[00:30:32] I mean, that's not bad either.
[00:30:33] So OK.
[00:30:34] So let's get right into this.
[00:30:35] Joe was the stretch.
[00:30:36] Get it?
[00:30:37] Uh ladies and gentlemen, former Marvel universe star.
[00:30:42] Jonathan Majors has been sentenced to one year of domestic abuse
[00:30:45] counseling.
[00:30:46] Though not actually in jail with domestic abuse counseling
[00:30:49] in a lower Manhattan court after being convicted
[00:30:51] of assaulting and harassing ex-girlfriend Grace Jabari.
[00:30:55] The actor will avoid the upwards of one year of jail time
[00:30:58] he could have potentially faced.
[00:30:59] According to a ruling from Judge Michael Gaffey,
[00:31:02] Majors will have to complete an in-person domestic abuse
[00:31:05] program in Los Angeles where he's currently
[00:31:07] living lasting 52 weeks.
[00:31:09] There's a stipulation that he could eventually
[00:31:11] switch to virtual sessions.
[00:31:12] Majors will also have to keep up with mental health therapy
[00:31:16] that he's already enrolled in and provide
[00:31:19] updates about his progress to the court
[00:31:21] about his progress.
[00:31:22] Progress to his court progress.
[00:31:23] About the progress.
[00:31:24] I know.
[00:31:25] I'm saying progress in progress in progress.
[00:31:28] With progress on the progress.
[00:31:29] Right, progress on the progress.
[00:31:30] The judge also made permanent the order of protection
[00:31:33] that requires Majors to avoid any and all contact with Jabari,
[00:31:37] with Mr. Barrett.
[00:31:38] Yes, please.
[00:31:39] Oh my gosh.
[00:31:40] Talk about toxic relationship.
[00:31:41] It really was.
[00:31:43] And I mean, he had his explanation, but in the end,
[00:31:48] regardless of what explanation he had
[00:31:50] and what reasoning he says that he had,
[00:31:52] it came out to being domestic abuse in assaults.
[00:31:55] I mean, it's unfortunate, but it happened.
[00:31:59] Yeah, so obviously he got off easy.
[00:32:01] I was going to see that.
[00:32:03] Yeah, I mean, I don't really know the details of it,
[00:32:05] but it feels like he did.
[00:32:07] I mean, God off easy is a weird term because he got all his
[00:32:13] upcoming projects taken away.
[00:32:15] So I don't know if that's getting off easy,
[00:32:17] but as far as jail time goes and whatnot.
[00:32:19] Yeah, it does feel like there may be
[00:32:22] should have been more done, but again, I don't know
[00:32:23] that he jails King, King, Unity Service.
[00:32:27] Adam is throwing all the zingers today.
[00:32:29] I love this.
[00:32:31] Yeah, that's some.
[00:32:33] Well, every cinematic universe needs a flash just off screen.
[00:32:36] I am curious as to now that this is all confirmed and everything.
[00:32:41] I don't even know if he was exonerated if there would be,
[00:32:44] if you would be able to come back to the MCU,
[00:32:45] but I do wonder what this means for the future of King.
[00:32:49] Yeah, I mean, kind of been talking about that,
[00:32:51] but now we really have to consider
[00:32:52] is it are they going to keep with King?
[00:32:55] Because we were talking about that with the fantastic four
[00:32:57] things, are they going to introduce a version of Nathaniel Richards?
[00:33:00] Right.
[00:33:02] I don't know.
[00:33:03] I hope they do.
[00:33:04] I hope to keep going with King just with somebody else.
[00:33:06] Yeah.
[00:33:07] Like, I think the King storyline was leading up to something
[00:33:13] that was going to be a lot better than people were thinking it was going
[00:33:15] to be.
[00:33:16] Like I said, I think the way that they play their chess pieces,
[00:33:19] they were, you know, they're playing it slow.
[00:33:21] People just didn't like how slow they were playing it and
[00:33:23] it was going to pay off soon.
[00:33:24] I agree.
[00:33:25] I think, yeah.
[00:33:26] So I really hope they just recast King, keep going.
[00:33:29] Yeah.
[00:33:30] Because the great thing about this, because it's like if, you know,
[00:33:33] Josh Brolin had some, you know, terrible thing that he did or
[00:33:37] what a Josh Brolin should do.
[00:33:39] What no, no, no, I'm saying if he had,
[00:33:41] you know, it's not as easy to, you know,
[00:33:44] oh, we're going to recast Thanos.
[00:33:45] Yeah.
[00:33:46] Really easy to recast King.
[00:33:47] Yeah.
[00:33:48] Well, he wasn't even the first Thanos.
[00:33:52] Wasn't somebody else that played Thanos and like that?
[00:33:54] Was it Avengers?
[00:33:55] I don't know.
[00:33:56] Maybe post-credits scene.
[00:33:57] I think with somebody else that played him, not Josh Brolin.
[00:34:00] But you're right.
[00:34:01] Like recast him.
[00:34:02] Yeah.
[00:34:03] Oh, we got to hang is obvious.
[00:34:06] It's a really easy thing to do.
[00:34:07] You know, he's okay.
[00:34:09] So that's anyway, that's yeah, that's what I was saying.
[00:34:12] Exactly.
[00:34:13] But it is unfortunate because Thanos and Majors wasn't as an
[00:34:17] amazing actor.
[00:34:18] Yes.
[00:34:19] So but it doesn't be the creatives and I say this as a creative
[00:34:24] or not are we're weird.
[00:34:28] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:34:29] Let's leave it weird.
[00:34:30] Make that a little weird.
[00:34:31] Yeah.
[00:34:32] The other the other I was just going to say before we move on
[00:34:35] the other like major thing that's happening in the chat
[00:34:38] today is everybody's just saying Pedro Pascal is everything.
[00:34:41] Major, major stone.
[00:34:42] Yeah.
[00:34:43] Major Pascal's king.
[00:34:44] Pedro is going to be too busy playing Batman again.
[00:34:47] Page press.
[00:34:48] Agent Pascal is Rob Lifeheld.
[00:34:50] Hey, your Pascal is Rob Lifeheld.
[00:34:52] That's what you're Rob Lifeheld.
[00:34:53] Speaking of what's in Lifeheld's pockets were about to find out
[00:34:58] comic book artist Rob Lifeheld, friend of young Phil.
[00:35:03] Yes.
[00:35:04] Yes.
[00:35:05] Friend of the show.
[00:35:07] His memoir Rob Servations is coming so Lifeheld contributed
[00:35:11] to Marvel and the formation of image comics in the 90s known
[00:35:14] as the creator of cable domino and Deadpool.
[00:35:18] This is kind of cool.
[00:35:19] We're getting a book.
[00:35:20] Nice.
[00:35:21] Kind of funny that he's naming his book after it's the same name
[00:35:25] that podcast.
[00:35:26] Yeah, yeah.
[00:35:27] That's good.
[00:35:28] Lifeheld's memoir promises to provide readers with an intimate look at
[00:35:32] his journey from a pastor son in Orange County, California to
[00:35:36] becoming one of the most celebrated figures in comic book history
[00:35:40] Rob Servations will feature 10 original illustrations and promises
[00:35:45] to take readers on a captivating journey through his personal life
[00:35:49] and over his 35 year plus career in the entertainment industry.
[00:35:54] That's kind of kind of interesting kind of like that he's taken
[00:35:57] he's going to share it with everybody.
[00:35:59] Yeah, dig it.
[00:36:00] It will lift the veil on the inner working of comic book publishers
[00:36:04] the suits behind Hollywood studios and pivotal moments that would have
[00:36:08] that will have shaped modern pop culture from behind the scenes anecdotes
[00:36:12] to reflections on his career defining decisions as well as facts
[00:36:16] little known in the comic book industry.
[00:36:18] Lifeheld offers a candid and compelling account of his life and legacy.
[00:36:24] How do you feel about this?
[00:36:25] I'm ready for awesome.
[00:36:26] Yeah, yeah.
[00:36:27] I'm excited for this.
[00:36:28] I'm probably going to end up buying it and then next time I see Rob
[00:36:30] I'm going to try and get into signing.
[00:36:32] Right.
[00:36:33] Look at you.
[00:36:34] First name basis.
[00:36:35] I like that.
[00:36:36] Rob Servations will be coming in early 2025 through Ben Bella publishing.
[00:36:41] All right.
[00:36:42] All right.
[00:36:43] Awesome.
[00:36:44] Well, that's very cool.
[00:36:45] Very, very, very cool.
[00:36:46] I'm thinking of sweaty shirtless.
[00:36:47] I mean, speaking of...
[00:36:51] I got my shirt on.
[00:36:52] We can't even tie it up.
[00:36:53] I am taking this story because if you heard my tie rate earlier,
[00:36:56] you know why.
[00:36:57] In what we do in life, echoes any tone of news.
[00:37:01] Willis got Galadiator's sequel has entered the Great Arena.
[00:37:05] A Coliseum, you could say.
[00:37:07] The film's official logo and title debut during cinema con at Caesar's Palace
[00:37:11] Las Vegas, which seems before we're in.
[00:37:13] That seems very appropriate.
[00:37:15] Caesar's Palace.
[00:37:16] It actually does.
[00:37:17] It's a begin point.
[00:37:18] We're apparently not pictures, we'll present an exclusive sneak peak
[00:37:20] at its upcoming theatrical slate on April 11th.
[00:37:23] First announced as Untolder Galadiator's sequel and referred to as Galadiator 2.
[00:37:27] The just confirmed title is Galadiator 2.
[00:37:29] Whoa!
[00:37:30] Just so...
[00:37:31] So mind blowing.
[00:37:33] Just...
[00:37:34] Galadiator 2.
[00:37:35] A company in the logo is a tagline taken from the first film.
[00:37:38] What we do in life echoes in eternity.
[00:37:41] We're referencing the words that Roman journal Maximus de Kimus Mavidius, Russell Crowe,
[00:37:46] and Zolder's troops before leading them into battle.
[00:37:48] And we also have a synopsis.
[00:37:50] We have the Maximus de Kimus Opsis Mavidius, are you not entertained to synopsis?
[00:37:56] Maximus de Simus, Opsis meridius, are you not entertained to synopsis?!
[00:38:04] Synopsis.
[00:38:05] Boy Latin synopsis.
[00:38:07] Set about 15 years after 2000s gladiator Oscar nominee Paul Muscarl from After Sun thing,
[00:38:13] plays a grown up Lucuse Wehrus, son of Lucila, a returning carnivore son.
[00:38:18] The original gladiator stole Stard Crow as the enslaved journal turned gladiator idolized
[00:38:23] by Lucuse, originally played by Spencer's, by Spencer Treat Clark, who cheered the Spaniard
[00:38:28] in the games.
[00:38:29] Maximus died saving Lucuse and Lucila, having avenged his murdered son and wife with
[00:38:35] the death of power hungry Emperor Kamados, played by walkie-fiends.
[00:38:38] Play about the game.
[00:38:39] Later too, we'll enter the Colosseum on November the 20th.
[00:38:43] I like the storyline, I like what they're doing with it because at first you're thinking
[00:38:48] they're doing another gladiator movie.
[00:38:52] What are they going to do?
[00:38:53] Maximus died.
[00:38:54] What are they going to do?
[00:38:55] And I like that they are...
[00:38:57] I'm going to continue to say the name, the way that's pronounced in the movie in a
[00:39:02] different way that Latin dictates it.
[00:39:04] I'm just being...
[00:39:05] Yeah, because I know that's how you're supposed to say it in Latin but it's going to be
[00:39:09] fun to see Lucuse as an adult and seeing how that influence changed him.
[00:39:17] Him idolizing Maximus and realizing that his uncle was a slimy worm even though he
[00:39:24] was emperor.
[00:39:26] Also, the fallout of seeing your uncle murdered in front of you.
[00:39:32] Yeah.
[00:39:33] It's really interesting.
[00:39:35] Say one brings up a really interesting point.
[00:39:38] Yeah, it's supposed to take place during the year of the foreampers.
[00:39:41] It's set in the year of the foreampers which is a insane portion of Roman history.
[00:39:46] Yeah.
[00:39:47] Which takes place like thousands of years after the events of the original gladiator movie
[00:39:51] but again, it's fiction so you can do what the hell you want.
[00:39:54] Right.
[00:39:55] I mean, yeah, obviously, you know, communist was not...
[00:39:57] I don't think in...
[00:39:58] I don't think that timeline lines up anyway.
[00:40:00] No, communist was the son of Marcus Aurelius but the whole thing is like that also didn't...
[00:40:06] That's not how Marcus Aurelius died.
[00:40:07] That's not how communist ascended the throne.
[00:40:10] You know, so it's just kind of like...
[00:40:12] Yes, the familial stuff that happened in that movie was true.
[00:40:17] And also Maximus, that's Maximus Meritius is not a real person.
[00:40:20] Right.
[00:40:21] Yeah, exactly.
[00:40:22] There's a certain amount of liberties you can take in historical fiction.
[00:40:26] But no, that's really good.
[00:40:28] It is the year of the five empires and that will be really interesting to see if there
[00:40:32] is a reference to that.
[00:40:34] I mean, obviously, it will be a reference to it but if that affects the story at all.
[00:40:37] Yeah, I think we just blew James's mind because he was like,
[00:40:39] wait, Maximus is not a real person.
[00:40:41] But I want to be honest with you.
[00:40:43] I'm not going to be crazy anymore.
[00:40:45] I'm not going to be a real player but yeah, so it's interesting.
[00:40:48] I would love...
[00:40:49] This is completely an optopic.
[00:40:50] I would love a...
[00:40:51] I mean, I know we got Rome, obviously, but I'd love a series like a Game of Thrones style
[00:40:56] series that's the year of the five empires.
[00:40:59] Game of Thrones would be fun.
[00:41:00] But I like the way Spartacus did Rome and I think I would go more...
[00:41:04] Yeah.
[00:41:05] But I'm not saying...
[00:41:06] I'm not saying more like the kind of how the story is told.
[00:41:10] Well, I mean, like Spartacus gives respect to everyone.
[00:41:12] Well, yeah, yeah, Spartacus was like that too.
[00:41:15] So I just think it'd be an interesting series.
[00:41:17] Yeah.
[00:41:18] That's what I'm saying.
[00:41:19] So...
[00:41:20] Say what I'm saying.
[00:41:21] I mean, will he come with us seemed like a fusion of Nero and Caligula?
[00:41:25] He kind of was.
[00:41:26] Which Caligula.
[00:41:27] I mean, Caligula was not a good person.
[00:41:30] No, he was a terrible person.
[00:41:32] But he wasn't as bad as good like you know.
[00:41:34] He wasn't as bad as he was portrayed in this movie.
[00:41:37] But he was...
[00:41:38] It is true that he did engage in an insesuous relationship with his sister.
[00:41:43] Also Caligula to him.
[00:41:44] Yeah, also Claudius did.
[00:41:46] Yeah.
[00:41:47] So, you know, there's a lot of...
[00:41:49] The difference between the movie and the real life is in the movie it was unwanted in
[00:41:57] the film or yeah, and the film was unwanted in real life.
[00:42:01] It was mutual.
[00:42:02] Oh, it was totally consensual.
[00:42:03] Yeah, it was like mutual.
[00:42:04] Oh, it was.
[00:42:05] And like when I read up on like, you know, comedists in real life, I was like, this is
[00:42:08] so much weirder than the thought of movie.
[00:42:10] Yeah.
[00:42:11] But again, if you did get anything like Alexander the Great has some sort of relationship
[00:42:14] with his mother.
[00:42:15] Oh my God.
[00:42:16] Yeah, there's a lot of red relationship with all of them.
[00:42:18] Oh, yeah.
[00:42:19] Anyway, moving swiftly on.
[00:42:21] Yeah, I haven't had dinner yet.
[00:42:22] Please go.
[00:42:23] I don't need the vomit right now, okay?
[00:42:25] No, no, okay.
[00:42:26] Move it on James Cameron.
[00:42:27] You bring in a whole new meaning to Caesar salad.
[00:42:32] You know what I mean?
[00:42:33] Like so just let it go.
[00:42:34] Toss him to Caesar salad.
[00:42:35] I don't know.
[00:42:36] The way that you make Caesar salad is he stabbed at 24 times from the Caesar salad.
[00:42:41] You toss the Caesar salad.
[00:42:42] It's chopped.
[00:42:43] Yeah, yeah, it's just chopped.
[00:42:46] In Come Along and Ride On A Fantastic Butch.
[00:42:52] It's been over 13 years since we've heard about anything about James Cameron's remake
[00:42:57] of the classic 1966 sci-fi adventure.
[00:43:00] Fantastic voyage.
[00:43:02] Cameron recently attended an event in Paris, this guy as the art of James Cameron is now
[00:43:09] on exhibition at the cinema Tique, Francis.
[00:43:14] It was there.
[00:43:15] The filmmaker offered the following update.
[00:43:18] We've been developing it for a number of years.
[00:43:21] We plan to go ahead with it very soon.
[00:43:23] Raquel Welch is not available, but we think we can make a pretty good film.
[00:43:28] Look at him and his jokes at his own event celebrating his work.
[00:43:33] The ego on this guy.
[00:43:36] No date on when the voyage will begin.
[00:43:39] I didn't know he was going to remake Fantastic voyage.
[00:43:41] This is one of those films that I think would benefit from an update.
[00:43:47] I've thought for years that they needed to update this movie.
[00:43:50] It was a great movie when it came out.
[00:43:52] What was 1966?
[00:43:54] 1967?
[00:43:55] Yeah, 1966.
[00:43:56] Yeah.
[00:43:57] The idea of we've seen it all through pop culture and cartoons and different stuff.
[00:44:02] Somebody gets a shrinking machine and it goes inside of a person's body.
[00:44:07] Every major cartoon has done an episode of this.
[00:44:11] Right.
[00:44:12] Right.
[00:44:13] I would love to see an update, like a modern update, a fantastic voyage.
[00:44:17] So is there going to be a scene where the ship explodes and all of that.
[00:44:22] There's just a little piece of the ship that is kind of floating along.
[00:44:25] And there's one person, there's two people that have survived.
[00:44:31] But only one of them can fit on the board.
[00:44:32] But really, really, both of them probably could.
[00:44:36] Probably.
[00:44:37] The door of the ship?
[00:44:40] Probably they could fit.
[00:44:41] Right.
[00:44:42] Yeah.
[00:44:43] No, no, no.
[00:44:44] So if anything could, but no, one of us would know it would be sacrificed.
[00:44:46] If anything, they're floating on a red blood cell.
[00:44:49] Right.
[00:44:50] Right.
[00:44:51] Yeah.
[00:44:52] Oh my God.
[00:44:54] Such a such a good idea, but hilarious at the same time.
[00:44:57] I was wondering where you were going with that.
[00:45:00] It took me a second.
[00:45:01] It took me a second to realize what he was doing when he said that, you know, and they
[00:45:05] can obviously fit on both of them like, oh, it's a Titanic reference.
[00:45:08] This is great.
[00:45:09] Well, my jokes are nothing if not convoluted.
[00:45:11] So it's in the way.
[00:45:13] It paid off.
[00:45:14] It paid off.
[00:45:15] I like it.
[00:45:16] Well, then.
[00:45:17] OK.
[00:45:18] In Angel Barbie news, there have been a few attempts over the years to develop a feature
[00:45:23] film adaptation of Rob Liefeld's comic series, Evangeline, the Rob Liefeld?
[00:45:29] Exactly.
[00:45:30] The latest attempt sees Olivia Wilde attached to direct the film.
[00:45:34] Margot Robbie is producing the film through her lucky chap production shingle with Tom
[00:45:41] Akkerly, Josie McNamara Simon Kinberg, a big a list writer is also circulating to
[00:45:47] adapt.
[00:45:48] This actually sounds like a great idea because I mean, OK, look, Olivia Wilde has proven
[00:45:54] that she's actually a decent director.
[00:45:56] You know, I've seen everything that she's done so far and I have not hated it.
[00:46:02] There's, you know, I forgot when movie was recently that she did that had a crap ton
[00:46:05] of controversy to it.
[00:46:07] And everybody was like, it's suck.
[00:46:08] But I mean, if you watch the movie not knowing the context of all that stuff that happened,
[00:46:12] it's actually a good movie.
[00:46:13] Mm-hmm.
[00:46:14] I'm going to look it up.
[00:46:15] Yeah.
[00:46:16] It was one of her more recent movies, but I mean, it's good.
[00:46:18] It's actually pretty good.
[00:46:20] Olivia Wilde as a director is decent and then you have Margot Robbie producing which
[00:46:24] everything that she has touched has been gold so far.
[00:46:27] Right.
[00:46:28] You know.
[00:46:29] And then you have like, you're looking at Tom Akkerly, Josie McNamara, Simon Kinberg,
[00:46:34] no, whole bunch of writers that make amazing movies.
[00:46:38] So it's like I don't see this being bad.
[00:46:42] Yeah.
[00:46:43] I mean, I'm into it.
[00:46:44] The film was previously described as John Wick but with a fallen angel, Evangeline was originally
[00:46:51] published in 1995 and it's in it eventually fights the forces of evil and often finds
[00:46:57] herself face to face with demons and monsters.
[00:47:00] There's no date when the film will fall from heaven into theater.
[00:47:04] All right.
[00:47:05] All right.
[00:47:06] Cool.
[00:47:07] And let's see what's trans-er-sneared.
[00:47:10] Speaking of falling out of heaven, we have in all out of love.
[00:47:19] So lost with that, oh, news.
[00:47:21] Oh my girl out of love.
[00:47:23] So lost without you.
[00:47:25] You can't be too late.
[00:47:27] I'm just not news.
[00:47:30] Back in the day.
[00:47:32] Another classic music group is getting the biopic treatment with the feature film All
[00:47:36] Out of Love, The Air Supply Story.
[00:47:38] Yeah.
[00:47:39] Title after one of the band's biggest hit songs, The Film Will We Released in summer of
[00:47:43] 2025 to celebrate Air Supplies 50th anniversary game.
[00:47:47] The group scored seven top five signals in a row tying the Beatles consecutive run and
[00:47:51] went on to sell more than 100 million albums for the Y.
[00:47:55] And of course, we have a synopsis.
[00:47:56] We have the Here I Am, Opsis, The One That You La Synopsis.
[00:48:01] Here I Am, Opsis, The One That You Love Snaps Is.
[00:48:06] The film will explore the highs and lows of the band's career and the rise to international
[00:48:14] thing.
[00:48:15] It follows Russell and Hitchcock.
[00:48:18] The two founding members of Air Supply, as they pursue their musical dreams, rising from
[00:48:22] humble beginnings in Australia to a breakthrough in the United States.
[00:48:26] I don't even know the Australian.
[00:48:27] Me either.
[00:48:28] The only thing that makes me feel a lot of bad in the UK during the fourth quarter of 2024.
[00:48:33] So what are you doing?
[00:48:34] I'm so into this.
[00:48:35] I used to steal this CD from my brother because I thought it was like the coolest music
[00:48:40] back in the day.
[00:48:41] It's like white people are in B Music, you know what I mean?
[00:48:46] So good.
[00:48:47] I'm not sure whether to be offended or flattered but you should be flattered because
[00:48:51] there's a very, very short list of white people that got sold.
[00:48:58] Okay.
[00:48:59] And of course there is no date when we go, when we will get a few things to get lost in
[00:49:03] about though.
[00:49:04] I like it.
[00:49:05] Lost in love.
[00:49:06] That's what we need.
[00:49:08] We need some air supply like trap remixes.
[00:49:11] Oh, I bet you there are some.
[00:49:12] I guarantee you there are some.
[00:49:14] I bet you I could find one.
[00:49:15] I'll find one and use it in the next post.
[00:49:17] I like it.
[00:49:18] I like it.
[00:49:19] All right.
[00:49:20] Yeah, I bet it would.
[00:49:22] So ladies and gentlemen following up on the red pill news.
[00:49:25] That's the food.
[00:49:26] Did you because you guys took the red pill right?
[00:49:28] Probably.
[00:49:29] And we have that right after we talk about white people are in B but okay.
[00:49:32] I think we're going to be red pilling because white people are red pilled.
[00:49:38] We're not going to get too further in too much further in that.
[00:49:40] No, no, no.
[00:49:41] Water brothers and I'm sure James is like, I don't know what the fuck they're talking
[00:49:44] about right now.
[00:49:45] What are people doing?
[00:49:46] Red pilling.
[00:49:47] What are we doing?
[00:49:48] That's that is a good question.
[00:49:50] Without further like super explaining it red pilling is a term that like racist communities
[00:49:59] on on like orchan use.
[00:50:02] Yeah, all right.
[00:50:03] Well, we're not talking about what I'm saying when I we're not going to get into that.
[00:50:06] We're going to really talk about here is water brothers is moving forward with another
[00:50:10] damn matrix movie and writer and director Drew Goddard is spearheading the development of
[00:50:16] it.
[00:50:17] Okay.
[00:50:18] All right.
[00:50:19] Cool.
[00:50:20] I know.
[00:50:21] I know.
[00:50:22] Goddard best known for his work on the Martian, the Cabin in the Woods and bad times at
[00:50:25] the out royale will write and direct the matrix film.
[00:50:29] The uh yeah, no the sci-fi franchises original co-scribe and director Lena Wochowski will serve
[00:50:35] as executive producer Jesse Irman, Warner Brothers motion pictures president of production added
[00:50:41] Drew came to Warner Brothers with a new idea that we all believe will be an incredible way
[00:50:46] to continue the matrix world by both honoring what Lana and Lily began over 25 years ago
[00:50:51] and offering a unique perspective based on his own love of the series and characters.
[00:50:56] That's what she said the first damn time but okay.
[00:50:59] But the first time was Lana Wochowski writing and directing a movie and she did something
[00:51:05] completely different that was still she felt was still in the world.
[00:51:08] I mean like she I mean, but then again, like you know they kind of you know wrote two more
[00:51:13] movies after the first one that kind of you know, overexpanded the universe.
[00:51:16] You know what I mean?
[00:51:17] Right.
[00:51:18] Yeah.
[00:51:19] It's just.
[00:51:20] So with all that, um what do you guys feel?
[00:51:22] I mean like I guess the only thing that gives me a little bit of faith is that Drew
[00:51:26] Goddard is actually a really good writer.
[00:51:30] Uh and you know, I would hope that he would write something if he's a big fan of it that
[00:51:33] he would write something that's you know both continuing with storyline but making
[00:51:37] it better.
[00:51:38] Right.
[00:51:39] Right.
[00:51:40] My my general feelings are.
[00:51:41] Yeah.
[00:51:42] I mean, you can you can you can tell from the way that I'm kind of reacting is it's kind
[00:51:46] of a man.
[00:51:47] You know, you heard the last I said it was making another damn Matrix movie right?
[00:51:52] Yeah.
[00:51:54] I like the Matrix and just a little offended that they keep making them.
[00:51:59] Uh, uh, the first one is good.
[00:52:01] Second one was okay.
[00:52:02] Third one is.
[00:52:03] Yeah.
[00:52:04] The fourth one went back to okay.
[00:52:06] Right.
[00:52:07] Yeah.
[00:52:08] Yeah.
[00:52:09] But it still wasn't it didn't hold up to the first movie.
[00:52:10] You know what I mean?
[00:52:11] I love the idea of the Matrix.
[00:52:13] No, the idea is brilliant.
[00:52:16] It's just that there's more you could do with it.
[00:52:18] I feel like we need a new deal.
[00:52:20] Right.
[00:52:21] Yeah.
[00:52:22] We need a new deal or we need like to whiff off the whole uh because for a while I know
[00:52:26] this is still art but for a while everybody was thinking we were living in a simulation.
[00:52:29] Right?
[00:52:30] I think we are.
[00:52:31] What if okay whatever.
[00:52:32] But you know, we were uh, you know, we could do something where it's been a while since
[00:52:40] you know, all of this happened and we have like a new neo being a scientist or being
[00:52:45] a you know something like that.
[00:52:48] And you kind of whiff off the whole well there are people who do think we live in a simulation
[00:52:52] and what if they're right?
[00:52:53] How would we discover that?
[00:52:55] And so you do something almost more like contact or almost more like whatever.
[00:52:59] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:53:00] And maybe I don't know if you could do this necessarily.
[00:53:02] Don't even market it as a matrix move.
[00:53:04] Market it as something completely different.
[00:53:06] And then the everybody goes and sees this is hard to do obviously in the age of internet
[00:53:09] but everybody goes to see it and they're like, oh, it's an interview.
[00:53:12] And then like at the very end you have fly in.
[00:53:14] Right.
[00:53:15] Yeah, exactly.
[00:53:16] The very end you have agents with come in or something and you're like, oh yeah.
[00:53:20] Yeah.
[00:53:21] I don't know.
[00:53:22] Anyway, I think there's a lot more creative ideas you could go for and I hope they do.
[00:53:24] Yeah.
[00:53:25] I mean, I agree with you on the, they need to just have them.
[00:53:28] They need to make it to where like the matrix is rebooted and it's going on to the next
[00:53:34] uh, the next neo, the next one, you know what I mean?
[00:53:38] The project is in early development and there's no word on if Keanu Reeves, Kerian Moss or
[00:53:42] any of the original cast members will return.
[00:53:46] All right.
[00:53:47] All right.
[00:53:48] See how it goes.
[00:53:49] All right.
[00:53:50] Moving on.
[00:53:51] Disney Land is finally driving to the future for tomorrow land.
[00:53:54] Speaking of electricity.
[00:53:55] Uh, finally.
[00:53:56] Oh my gosh.
[00:53:57] This is so long.
[00:53:59] Finally, the gas is leaving auto to be a auto to be a gas powered attraction.
[00:54:08] Located within Disneyland's tomorrow in California is going green by going fully electric
[00:54:14] according to the Los Angeles Times, citing a Disney spokesperson.
[00:54:18] Disney has decided to find alternative fuel sources.
[00:54:22] Just say electric like putting it in your banana peels in the back like.
[00:54:26] I don't feel with the amoeba or whatever.
[00:54:29] Yeah.
[00:54:30] So basically they're going to put a coffee grinder on the back of all of them.
[00:54:33] Exactly.
[00:54:34] Right?
[00:54:36] The classic Disney attraction, which first opened at the theme park in 1955, gives the
[00:54:41] younger guests the chance to drive cars for the very first time as the industry moves towards
[00:54:46] alternative fuel sources.
[00:54:48] We have developed a roadmap to electrify this attraction and are evaluating technology
[00:54:55] that will enable us to convert from gas engines in the next few years said Jessica Good,
[00:55:01] a Disneyland resorts spokesperson about time.
[00:55:05] A timeline for the project and when tomorrow land will join the future was not immediately
[00:55:11] available.
[00:55:12] Dude, I was just there like a month or two ago in the the fumes.
[00:55:18] I feel so bad for the people that have to work there because you can smell the fumes
[00:55:24] like right as you like see it.
[00:55:25] You're like, Oh, there's autotopia.
[00:55:28] And I can smell the gas.
[00:55:29] Yeah.
[00:55:30] Like non stop.
[00:55:31] Like your popcorn smells like gas afterwards.
[00:55:33] That's not cool.
[00:55:34] That's just not good at all.
[00:55:37] It's a long time coming that not only has autotopia needed an update, but it makes sense
[00:55:43] for them to update it to electrics.
[00:55:46] And I mean, the whole point of tomorrow land was for a wall to showcase future technology.
[00:55:51] So why are you still using gas vehicles?
[00:55:54] Exactly.
[00:55:55] You know what I mean?
[00:55:56] They should have went electric like 10, 10, 20 years ago.
[00:55:58] And it sponsored by Honda.
[00:56:01] Like they should, I know Honda has like a new all electric vehicle that like Honda should
[00:56:06] just go deep dive into this be like, All right, this is ours for the next 15, 20 years.
[00:56:11] Right.
[00:56:12] We're going to label all the cars as our Honda, whatever they are.
[00:56:15] But Honda has had all electric all electric like lawnmower motors and stuff like that.
[00:56:23] It's kind of like you can develop something because you already have the technology.
[00:56:28] You just need to scale it up.
[00:56:29] Right.
[00:56:30] Because this is a go-kart.
[00:56:31] All you need is like a suit car.
[00:56:33] It's literally a go-kart.
[00:56:34] Yeah, so I'm saying like, let's go-karts are electric.
[00:56:36] Yeah.
[00:56:37] Well, that's what I'm saying.
[00:56:38] Like it's a go-kart.
[00:56:39] All you need is a souped up lawnmower motor for it.
[00:56:41] Yeah, exactly.
[00:56:42] You know what's funny?
[00:56:43] Like I never see them refueling them.
[00:56:46] Like I wonder if there's like a weird like it's in the track system.
[00:56:50] I don't know.
[00:56:51] But I've never seen them refueling them.
[00:56:53] So it's not in the track system at the beginning of the track.
[00:56:57] There's like a little pit that you can go off to the side on.
[00:57:01] That's got like a little house right there.
[00:57:03] Oh, okay.
[00:57:04] So that's what we do.
[00:57:05] Yeah, so they pull them off to the little pit area right there, fill them up and then put
[00:57:09] them back on the track.
[00:57:10] Gotcha.
[00:57:11] Okay.
[00:57:12] Maybe I'm just like too high off gas fumes by them.
[00:57:15] It was it.
[00:57:16] It's the magic of Disney.
[00:57:17] Like you know, Disney is really good about whenever they need to do maintenance on something
[00:57:21] that's like on like in the middle of the field like that.
[00:57:24] It's something that you don't see, but also makes sense in another context.
[00:57:29] Right.
[00:57:30] Disney is really good about hiding stuff like that.
[00:57:32] Yeah.
[00:57:33] Say who I'm going to chat.
[00:57:35] I take a James you weren't there when the chiefs were there.
[00:57:38] Of course I was not there.
[00:57:40] They were a Disney world not land.
[00:57:43] I'm not supporting them.
[00:57:45] Cheese.
[00:57:46] Okay.
[00:57:47] Keep it going.
[00:57:48] From tomorrow land to women of tomorrow news DC studios has been on the hunt for a director
[00:57:54] to take on super girl woman of tomorrow and Kurella and I Tanya filmmaker Craig Gillespie
[00:58:01] is now in talks to direct the new Warner Brothers film.
[00:58:04] That was one second.
[00:58:05] I thought it was Kurella and I.
[00:58:09] That's a weird sequel that we don't need to see about Hania Harding and Kurella DeVille.
[00:58:14] Though I see a connection.
[00:58:17] Anyway, DC is looking to shoot the movie after James gun is finished shooting Superman.
[00:58:23] So super girl will be the next DC film to go into protection house of dragons.
[00:58:30] Millie Alcock is set to play super girl and it's safe to assume that she will be she
[00:58:35] will first appear in guns super man movie no set date when super girl woman of tomorrow
[00:58:41] will fly into theaters.
[00:58:44] I'm excited for this.
[00:58:45] Yeah, I'm very excited for this.
[00:58:47] I think Craig Gillespie is actually a really good director because Kurella I love Kurella.
[00:58:51] I was love Kurella.
[00:58:52] Kurella was one of those movies that I did not expect to like and then I watched it
[00:58:57] and was like this is actually not bad.
[00:58:58] This is pretty good because I don't like the concept of taking monsters in humanizing
[00:59:04] them but they they they did a good job.
[00:59:07] There was a good balance in Kurella.
[00:59:08] It was good.
[00:59:09] I like it.
[00:59:10] And then of course you know humanizing monsters in Tanya Harding, you know?
[00:59:15] Cool.
[00:59:16] All right.
[00:59:17] I have seen either of those movies so I'll take it at your work.
[00:59:21] I thought you're the film guy.
[00:59:23] You're supposed to we got to like get you like a list of films.
[00:59:26] I have a list of my friends.
[00:59:28] I am a filmmaker who has not seen a lot of films that happens a lot with that's my
[00:59:32] selling for filmmakers.
[00:59:34] That's that's yeah, that's it.
[00:59:36] I'm filmmaker is not seeing that many films.
[00:59:38] That's actually a good thing because then you're not influenced.
[00:59:40] Anyway speaking of game of throwing but he's got time for game of thorns.
[00:59:46] All right.
[00:59:47] Yeah.
[00:59:48] So what came first the dunk with the egg.
[00:59:50] HBO has cast the two leads of its upcoming game of thorns prequel series
[00:59:54] a night of the seven kingdoms.
[00:59:56] Poland the hedge night.
[00:59:57] The series is based off George R. Martin's The Tales of Dunkin' Egg
[01:00:01] which follows the characters so dunk in the tall and his squire egg.
[01:00:05] Hey, you'll see where that is in the second.
[01:00:07] Yeah.
[01:00:08] I know who that is.
[01:00:09] We talk about it at the beginning of the show.
[01:00:10] We did.
[01:00:11] Yeah.
[01:00:12] Variety reports that Peter Klafi of bad sister's friend.
[01:00:15] You don't know what that is.
[01:00:16] Cool.
[01:00:17] The game of thorns is Dunk.
[01:00:18] Well Dexter Solansell, the hungry Aims, the battle of Song of the Saints,
[01:00:21] has been cast as egg.
[01:00:23] We have a game of Opsis, Dunk and the Sonopsis.
[01:00:28] Really?
[01:00:29] Okay.
[01:00:30] Game of Opsis, Dunk and the Sonopsis.
[01:00:32] Sonopsis.
[01:00:33] That's good.
[01:00:34] Hey, go on that dog, Harry.
[01:00:36] Probably should have been I hear by name you an Opsis night of the Sonopsis.
[01:00:41] Oh my God, that's so much better.
[01:00:43] Where are you?
[01:00:44] Where were you this morning when we were writing this?
[01:00:46] What's the next?
[01:00:47] What's the next?
[01:00:48] What's the next?
[01:00:49] Next, the tater.
[01:00:50] What's happening?
[01:00:51] Exantators?
[01:00:52] No, taters are asleep right now.
[01:00:53] Oh, gotcha.
[01:00:54] The series is set essentially before the events of a game of thorns two unlikely heroes wandered
[01:01:02] westrants.
[01:01:03] A young naive but courageous knight, sir, Dunk and the tall, and his diminutive squire, egg,
[01:01:09] set an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne and the memory of the last
[01:01:14] dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes and dangerous
[01:01:18] exploits await all those improbable and incomparable friends.
[01:01:22] So, yeah, so egg is a is a gone the sixth I want to say?
[01:01:27] Yeah, well he becomes the mad king eventually.
[01:01:32] Right, right, or no, he doesn't because he's an egg on, isn't it?
[01:01:35] Yeah, he that's I thought this is the man on the airy.
[01:01:38] Is it?
[01:01:39] I thought I thought I think somebody had some egg on their face.
[01:01:42] I thought I thought I thought I got on target.
[01:01:44] I'm looking.
[01:01:45] Oh, you're right.
[01:01:49] No, you're right.
[01:01:50] Erie's the second is the man.
[01:01:51] Yeah, yeah, it got in the fifth.
[01:01:52] The third area and there you go.
[01:01:53] Yeah, yeah, it's before a race, I believe.
[01:01:56] Yes, so yeah, anyway, so there you go.
[01:02:00] It's what I'm very excited for this.
[01:02:02] This has been this is one of the series I've been wanting to say we're announcing and
[01:02:05] I'll take them.
[01:02:06] So, you know how good house the dragon is?
[01:02:09] Yeah, I have some faith.
[01:02:10] Yeah, I was going to say I really love house the dragon which is coming back in June.
[01:02:15] I believe not that far away.
[01:02:17] Yeah, and again, you know this being Duncan egg, which is probably one of the second most
[01:02:21] popular series that George R. Martin put out.
[01:02:25] You know, obviously after the song of fire and ice.
[01:02:28] Right.
[01:02:29] Ice and fire.
[01:02:30] Ice and fires are song of ice and fire.
[01:02:34] Hey, weren't they going to put out some anime movies or something like that?
[01:02:37] Like tell more stories of you like animation movie.
[01:02:40] I mean, that wasn't this the series of books where they explain the birth of the imp.
[01:02:49] What's his name?
[01:02:50] Peter Dinklage.
[01:02:51] Peter Dinklage just carried him.
[01:02:52] Yeah, isn't this like where they explain theory?
[01:02:55] Wasn't this the book where they explain to you?
[01:02:57] Is like the circumstances around Tyrion's birth.
[01:02:59] I don't know.
[01:03:00] I don't remember what book that was from.
[01:03:01] I thought it was in the Duncan egg series.
[01:03:04] It may have been.
[01:03:05] I don't know.
[01:03:06] Yeah, but I see like it explains how Tywin marries his cousin and.
[01:03:11] It's like a whole thing.
[01:03:14] Yeah, but supposedly Aries was supposedly Aries was having his way with his wife and that's
[01:03:24] where Tyrion might be a Targaryen.
[01:03:26] Yeah, there's like a whole thing there.
[01:03:28] Yeah.
[01:03:29] Anyway, not to keep being so critical.
[01:03:31] I feel like I've been very critical of that.
[01:03:34] But I'm going to continue to be.
[01:03:35] So again, with the questionable titles of these things, I agree with you on that already.
[01:03:43] I feel it because with House of the Dragon there were so many better, there's so many,
[01:03:47] you know, better titles than House of the Dragon.
[01:03:49] You could have gone fire and blood, dance the dragons, you know, any of those things.
[01:03:53] Yeah, you know, the battle of the greens of the blocks is something you could have done
[01:03:57] any of those things with this.
[01:03:59] You have two great titles, but you smashed them together.
[01:04:03] You could have called it either a night of the Seven Kingdoms, which would have been
[01:04:06] a great title or the Hedge Knight or the Tales of Nunk and Egg.
[01:04:09] Right.
[01:04:10] I don't know.
[01:04:11] You went with a night of the Seven Kingdoms, calling the Hedge Knight's like.
[01:04:13] Because that's what they did with Game of Thrones too.
[01:04:16] Like, you know, the Game of Thrones is what?
[01:04:17] The third book?
[01:04:18] No, actually, Game of Thrones is the first book.
[01:04:21] Okay, so that's the first book.
[01:04:22] So that makes a slight bit more sense.
[01:04:24] Yeah, but I mean, like, you know, they've got that whole thing going on right there.
[01:04:28] There's just, it would have been better as the Hedge Knight because that's what Dunk
[01:04:31] is known as.
[01:04:32] Right, just called the Hedge Knight.
[01:04:33] Yeah.
[01:04:34] And I don't know, maybe.
[01:04:35] And again, the whole speculation around why they call it House of Dragon is, well, maybe
[01:04:38] House of Dragon will be, you know, we'll get past the Dance of Dragons and we'll do other
[01:04:42] Targaryen stuff.
[01:04:43] So I guess for this, it could technically be other stories about other nights of the Seven
[01:04:47] Kingdoms.
[01:04:48] Yeah, but just make that clear if you're doing that.
[01:04:51] Also the Dance of Dragons would have been so much better.
[01:04:53] Yeah, Dance of the Dragons is a amazing name.
[01:04:56] I guess that may have conflicted with there is, I think it's the fourth song of
[01:05:01] the Forest and Firebook is Dance of the Dragons.
[01:05:03] But still, I'm going to be the, I'm going to be the layman and I say I like the name House
[01:05:08] of Dragons.
[01:05:09] It's easy for me who's not super into the lore and everything but just I'm here for
[01:05:13] the ride.
[01:05:14] I'm like, House of Dragons.
[01:05:15] Yeah.
[01:05:16] But still, but you know from watching Game of Thrones that Fire and Blood is the Targaryen
[01:05:21] Houseworks?
[01:05:22] Yeah.
[01:05:23] I like the idea of the Dance of Dragons just because a lot of House of Dragon is like politics
[01:05:28] and moving around within the House and you know kind of like all that stuff.
[01:05:32] And it's like, it's like the whole idea of the war.
[01:05:34] Right.
[01:05:35] Right.
[01:05:36] Yeah.
[01:05:37] I feel like the Dance of Dragons is something that encompasses the entire idea of everything
[01:05:42] that happens within that series of books.
[01:05:45] So anyway, point is I'm still excited for this.
[01:05:48] Yeah.
[01:05:49] Okay.
[01:05:50] I think the name is crash but I'm still very excited for this.
[01:05:52] Absolutely.
[01:05:53] Anyway.
[01:05:54] And then we have the Price is R-O.
[01:05:57] The Price is Wrong, bitch news.
[01:05:59] Whoa.
[01:06:00] Hey.
[01:06:01] He's Adam Sanlon.
[01:06:02] I'm saying.
[01:06:03] Adam Sanlon.
[01:06:04] The Price is Wrong, bitch.
[01:06:05] Adam Sanler might actually be developing Happy Game War II.
[01:06:09] Last week Christopher McDonald who played Shooter McGavin, aka IE Pieces of Shit like you
[01:06:14] for breakfast.
[01:06:15] You eat pieces of shit, bros.
[01:06:18] In the original movie, offered an update claiming that the script had been written.
[01:06:21] Now Sanler is confirming that the sequel is actually in development for Netflix.
[01:06:26] No teetimes except for Happy Game War II.
[01:06:29] What are you guys excited for it?
[01:06:31] Cool.
[01:06:32] I'm into it.
[01:06:33] Yeah, cool.
[01:06:34] I'm very excited for this.
[01:06:35] I love the first Happy Game War.
[01:06:36] Again, if they're going to be doing Happy Game War again, if anything, they need to do like
[01:06:41] 30 years later.
[01:06:42] Happy still hasn't done anything with his life.
[01:06:44] And then you call it Sad Gillian.
[01:06:46] Oh.
[01:06:47] Sad Gillian.
[01:06:48] No, okay.
[01:06:49] Cool.
[01:06:50] You know, so I mean yeah, it's...
[01:06:52] I just want to see like, you know, it's been 30 years and I'm still trying to ride the
[01:06:57] horse.
[01:06:58] Right.
[01:06:59] Right.
[01:07:00] Hilarious, weird little fact because apparently I'm taking phrase places this time.
[01:07:04] The...
[01:07:05] Or no, the director of the price is right is also made out of Sanler.
[01:07:08] No way.
[01:07:09] What?
[01:07:10] Yeah.
[01:07:11] Yeah.
[01:07:12] I did not know that.
[01:07:13] That's pretty funny.
[01:07:14] That is interesting.
[01:07:15] I'm happy about this.
[01:07:17] I'm happy as a Gilmore about this because I love that first week.
[01:07:22] And this is what I've been saying about Adam Sanler.
[01:07:24] Like he's doing all these movies, such a big deal for Netflix to do a bunch of new movies.
[01:07:29] Do the sequels we want to see?
[01:07:31] Yeah.
[01:07:32] You know, give me more Happy Gilmore.
[01:07:34] Give me Billy Madison.
[01:07:36] Give me, I don't know, Big Daddy.
[01:07:37] Yeah, maybe not Big Daddy.
[01:07:38] Yeah, well, hopefully this will be good.
[01:07:40] So, will we trust him?
[01:07:41] Give me...
[01:07:42] Give me 51 first dates.
[01:07:44] 51.
[01:07:45] That's funny.
[01:07:46] The whole movies is one day.
[01:07:48] Exactly.
[01:07:49] Exactly.
[01:07:50] And speaking of that, like do 51 first dates and let's get our boy Sean Aston back
[01:07:57] as Doug.
[01:07:58] Right?
[01:07:59] And you know Drew Barrymore would be like, yes, let's do it.
[01:08:02] You missed it at the beginning.
[01:08:04] I was talking about during the interview there were a couple times where I made references
[01:08:08] and he just got into character automatically.
[01:08:11] So, like I did a twist in little habits.
[01:08:13] And then he looks over at me in the biggest excited shock face.
[01:08:18] And then just starts delivering Samwise Gamji lines.
[01:08:21] That's awesome.
[01:08:22] And then I asked him the question about the crop top.
[01:08:27] I was like, so whenever you think of Hawaii or would you go to Hawaii, do you wear a mesh
[01:08:33] crop top still?
[01:08:34] Or were you forever wearing mesh crop tops?
[01:08:36] Is that the only thing you wear?
[01:08:37] And he told a really good story about Hawaii because he considers Hawaii sacred, right?
[01:08:42] For other reasons, he didn't iron man race there.
[01:08:47] But he immediately starts talking as Doug with the list and everything.
[01:08:51] I said, you want to compare biceps?
[01:08:52] And he just says, I was like, you are the best man ever.
[01:08:57] I love you.
[01:08:58] Can I hear that sometime soon?
[01:09:01] Can I?
[01:09:02] I am waiting on our photographer to send me the video because we had audio issues on
[01:09:07] that one.
[01:09:08] But it may have been salvaged with the video.
[01:09:10] Hopefully.
[01:09:11] Yeah.
[01:09:12] So Eugene, I need you to get that to me ASAP so I can listen through it and see.
[01:09:17] What I can salvage out of it.
[01:09:18] I like it.
[01:09:19] All right, let's get this going.
[01:09:20] We got a bunch more stories.
[01:09:21] Woo!
[01:09:22] All right.
[01:09:23] You need dual monitors.
[01:09:24] Yeah.
[01:09:25] I do have dual monitors, but for some reason my monitor blacks out as soon as I want to look
[01:09:29] at something and then comes back on.
[01:09:31] So from cinema con far, far away.
[01:09:34] A head of cinema con Disney Studios has announced the release dates for three of its big highly
[01:09:40] anticipated films, The Mandalorian and Grogu Toy Story 5, Tron Aries, The Live Action
[01:09:45] and Moana, and more.
[01:09:47] Tron Aries is now set to be released on October 10th, 2025.
[01:09:50] The film stars Jared Leto and follows a highly sophisticated program Aries who is sent
[01:09:55] from the digital world into the real world of dangerous mission, marking humankind's first
[01:10:00] encounter with AIBs.
[01:10:02] Oh, done, done, done, done!
[01:10:05] So we're a what is that?
[01:10:07] A year and a half?
[01:10:08] About a year and a half away from Tron Aries.
[01:10:10] Okay.
[01:10:11] I'm into it.
[01:10:12] Tron Favros, The Mandalorian and Grogu is set for May 22nd, 2026.
[01:10:18] The movie starts shooting in Los Angeles later this year and the story will pick up from
[01:10:22] the aftermath of The Mandalorian season three so we are not getting more Mandalorian anytime
[01:10:27] soon.
[01:10:28] Oh, that's disheartening.
[01:10:29] And we gotta wait two years for this.
[01:10:32] Right.
[01:10:33] Again, this movie better be good.
[01:10:34] I'm sure it will.
[01:10:35] It's just upsetting that we're not getting more Mandalorian as soon as we want it.
[01:10:40] Yeah.
[01:10:41] I'm nervous because I'm used to the pace and storytelling of The Mandalorian being
[01:10:47] with like eight episodes.
[01:10:48] So that's like four, eight hours worth of storytelling versus now we're going to
[01:10:54] get into two or yeah.
[01:10:57] Again, what I'm hoping is happening is that this is like an extended pilot for season
[01:11:04] four, for season five or something.
[01:11:06] Yeah.
[01:11:07] You know, that it kind of just taking whatever the first story arc is and making a new movie.
[01:11:11] But you know, Bob Biger gets what Bob Aiger wants.
[01:11:14] So unfortunately, yes.
[01:11:16] Yeah.
[01:11:17] Pixar's Toy Story 5 is set for June 19th, 2026.
[01:11:21] The film will see Tim Allen and Tom Hanks return to voice buzz light year and Woody respectively.
[01:11:27] Hmm.
[01:11:28] Once again, two years.
[01:11:29] I mean, this.
[01:11:30] I mean, you know, I gotta say this about like I think they should have at first when Toy
[01:11:36] Story 3 came out and like that's how it ends.
[01:11:39] Perfect ending chef's kiss.
[01:11:40] That's good.
[01:11:41] I was like, yeah, they finished off that for three.
[01:11:42] I agree.
[01:11:43] But I still like Toy Story 4.
[01:11:45] Duke Kaboom is the shit.
[01:11:48] Duke Kaboom here.
[01:11:50] Canada's greatest stunt man.
[01:11:52] But you know, seeing the characters, I mean, you're kind of closing a chapter in Toy Story
[01:11:56] 3.
[01:11:57] Toy Story 4 is kind of seeing them kind of go their separate ways which is sad in its own
[01:12:02] right.
[01:12:03] You know, seeing like Woody literally like, you know, walk off into the sunset type of thing.
[01:12:08] You know, it kind of makes me sad.
[01:12:09] I don't know if I want to Toy Story 5 though.
[01:12:11] And I was going to be it's going to start with him turning around from the sunset and
[01:12:15] coming back.
[01:12:16] Right.
[01:12:17] Especially if you have Tom Allen and Tom Hanks coming back to him, Alan Tom Hanks coming
[01:12:21] back.
[01:12:22] You know that both characters are going to be in the film and it's just kind of like,
[01:12:25] you know, unless Tom Hanks is only in it for like the beginning of it because you're
[01:12:28] just seeing him leave or if they are going to do like a dual story and you have what
[01:12:34] Buzz is doing and what Woody's doing.
[01:12:36] And you know, if that like lines up but again, it comes down to writing, it comes down
[01:12:41] to if John Lasseter feels that it is worthy to put out.
[01:12:45] I for the most part trust John Lasseter more than I trust Bob Eiger when it comes to
[01:12:49] this kind of stuff unless John Lasseter is just doing it to please Bob Eiger and he gave
[01:12:54] up on, you know, his whole belief on we don't put out a movie unless it says it's
[01:12:59] good as the last one.
[01:13:00] Right.
[01:13:01] Sure, they're going to open up the Troy story multiverse and it's going to be very
[01:13:03] intense.
[01:13:04] So Woody and I hope they don't do that.
[01:13:06] I don't know.
[01:13:07] We don't need that.
[01:13:08] I know that was a joke.
[01:13:09] Yeah.
[01:13:10] Yeah.
[01:13:11] So the last one being Disney's live action version of Moana will now be released on July
[01:13:15] 10th, 2026.
[01:13:17] Dwayne Johnson confirmed that aside from his reprisal as the character Maui, composer Lin
[01:13:22] Mowell and Manuel Miranda will be also returning to do the music for the second film.
[01:13:27] And I believe they cast Moana, didn't they?
[01:13:30] Before the, the Moana too.
[01:13:32] Oh, that's right for the animated so not the live action.
[01:13:35] Which is coming out this year they have Oli for the last day.
[01:13:40] But yeah, the original girl that played Moana is coming back for Moana too.
[01:13:44] The live action Moana, they haven't announced.
[01:13:47] Is Dwayne coming back from Maui in the animated movie too?
[01:13:49] Yeah.
[01:13:50] Yeah.
[01:13:51] Okay.
[01:13:52] He's the final boss.
[01:13:53] He's the final boss.
[01:13:54] The final boss.
[01:13:55] I'm lemon Miranda.
[01:13:56] I guess they're taking a departure from the first one because he's playing the public
[01:13:59] messenger god.
[01:14:00] What?
[01:14:01] Wait, what?
[01:14:02] Give it a second Phil.
[01:14:03] Oh, okay.
[01:14:04] Yep.
[01:14:05] No, I got it.
[01:14:06] I got the joke.
[01:14:07] I got the joke.
[01:14:08] It took me a second.
[01:14:09] I got it.
[01:14:10] Okay.
[01:14:11] Again.
[01:14:12] Long convoluted jokes.
[01:14:13] That's mine.
[01:14:14] Yeah.
[01:14:15] I'll wait for somebody to explain in the chat.
[01:14:17] He played Hermes in, in Percy Jackson.
[01:14:21] He did play Hermes.
[01:14:23] You're right.
[01:14:24] Yeah.
[01:14:25] It took me a second.
[01:14:26] I was like messenger god.
[01:14:27] Oh, it's a herries joke.
[01:14:29] You got there.
[01:14:30] You're good.
[01:14:31] It took me a second.
[01:14:32] All right.
[01:14:33] Speaking of grand journeys through magical expanses, C's you could say to the dichotomy
[01:14:43] of two opposing forces a longer time ago from a galaxy not so far away.
[01:14:48] Director James Mangold's Star Wars project Don of the Jedi has some updates.
[01:14:54] The story will take place 25,000 years before the events of the original trilogy and will
[01:14:59] focus on the birth of the fours.
[01:15:02] G.H.R. has often update on the project and revealed that House of Cards creator Bo Willemann
[01:15:07] has come on board to co-write the story with Mangold.
[01:15:09] I will men it's no stranger to the Star Wars as he also wrote three episodes from Andoric
[01:15:14] season one which earned him an in nomination for outstanding writing on a long series.
[01:15:18] Oh.
[01:15:19] So what do we think about the birth of the fours?
[01:15:22] I'm into this.
[01:15:23] I want to see where they take this and I think it's going to be something about scientists
[01:15:30] or something or monks like find how to tap into the force and then they get corrupted
[01:15:37] or something like that.
[01:15:38] Yeah.
[01:15:39] I mean, I don't know how because this is a new first time of the story because in legends
[01:15:44] it was a whole it was monks or it was like basically these weird ships showed up on
[01:15:50] a bunch of planets and took people to Tython which we saw in the Mandalorian so we already
[01:15:54] exists.
[01:15:55] But took people to Tython and then there was kind of a wellspring of the force and so they
[01:16:01] were able to kind of get tap into it for the first time and then a while after that there
[01:16:06] was a conflict where it was people who wanted to control the forest versus them who didn't
[01:16:10] want to and it was like all of them that was a divide.
[01:16:13] But I wonder if the mortis gods are going to be involved in some way.
[01:16:19] Because we already know that there was kind of the whole, you know, because obviously
[01:16:24] we saw a mother died.
[01:16:25] There was the whole father, daughter son or the father, daughter son, right?
[01:16:30] So we already know the prime Jedi was the thing and we know the mortis gods so I wonder if
[01:16:35] almost the mortis gods that like they were the first force users or something.
[01:16:40] Could be, could be.
[01:16:42] And we have those like carvings into the mountains on which are the mortis gods.
[01:16:48] So which are the front of the forest comes from a different galaxy or something.
[01:16:51] I like it.
[01:16:52] Let's see what happens.
[01:16:53] Yeah, I mean to it.
[01:16:54] Sorry, Ethan.
[01:16:55] Oh, what do I think?
[01:16:56] I, it took a second for me to process that you guys were asking for my thoughts on this.
[01:17:04] No, I think the first thought that comes to mind is, you know, the force was born.
[01:17:09] Was it not just already there and then I think about it.
[01:17:12] I think it.
[01:17:13] No, no, no, no, no, no, no, it's really thinking about it.
[01:17:14] It's more so like when they discover that the forces of things.
[01:17:17] Exactly.
[01:17:18] You know, it's as if like you know in our universe, you know, like a month finally realizes
[01:17:23] that they can control the elements that kind of thing.
[01:17:25] Like, you know, so whatever the first, you know, fire vendor was or air vendor.
[01:17:30] Right.
[01:17:31] Exactly.
[01:17:32] So like yeah, I kind of like the idea of this but at the same time, I feel like it takes
[01:17:36] away the mystique of, you know, this, this religion and kind of this, this for lack
[01:17:42] of a better word force that lives within this universe, right?
[01:17:45] Yeah.
[01:17:46] You know, I like the idea of not knowing what it is and not knowing how it works 100%.
[01:17:53] You know, I think it's actually as much as it would have been kind of cool to see Lucas's
[01:17:59] interpretation of Star Wars, the sequels where he explains Medichlorians and all this
[01:18:05] other stuff.
[01:18:06] I feel like it's good that they didn't go that route and that there's, you know, there's
[01:18:11] still a level of mystery and mystique within the Star Wars universe.
[01:18:15] So you know, the other thing is I kind of trust James Mangold with his storytelling ability
[01:18:21] and telling complex stories and everything like that.
[01:18:25] I just, and again, like the writer from Andor at this point to me, the dude can't do
[01:18:31] any wrong with the way he wrote Andor.
[01:18:33] He knows how to write complex layered stories.
[01:18:36] Yeah.
[01:18:37] Yeah.
[01:18:38] So it's like that gives me faith in the way that they're going to play the story out.
[01:18:42] But it's one of those things where I feel like it's almost how similar to my feeling with,
[01:18:47] you know, how I didn't want an origin story with the Joker because I would prefer to look
[01:18:52] at the Joker as a monster and I don't need an explanation as to why he's a monster.
[01:18:56] Yeah.
[01:18:57] But you know what's nice about this is that bringing on another writer, it takes some
[01:19:02] responsibility off James Mangold.
[01:19:04] Yeah.
[01:19:05] You know, like, hey, just go make a good movie.
[01:19:08] We'll make this happen.
[01:19:09] And you're right.
[01:19:10] Like, like, I could have, I could have just been satisfied with the words that Obi-Wan
[01:19:15] said in a new hope.
[01:19:16] Yeah.
[01:19:17] You know, like it binds us to flows through us that sort of thing.
[01:19:20] You could have left it at that.
[01:19:21] I would have been so happy and be okay with like the mystery of the force.
[01:19:25] But maybe we're just getting to the point where we need to tell more stories.
[01:19:29] Anyway, let's keep it going.
[01:19:31] On to some fantastic MCU news.
[01:19:34] Marvel.
[01:19:35] Marvel has cast Julia Gardner from Ozarkin inventing on it in the fantastic force.
[01:19:42] You will take on the role of Shalabal, who's an incarnation of the silver surfer internet
[01:19:50] is exploding over this right now.
[01:19:52] Yeah.
[01:19:53] I know.
[01:19:54] I know.
[01:19:55] It's weird.
[01:19:56] Like why?
[01:19:57] Well, you don't need to go crazy over this.
[01:19:58] They're going crazy because that's how massage any works, right?
[01:20:00] Like they would prefer that they get the male version that everybody's used to rather than
[01:20:05] going for a different variant of this character.
[01:20:08] Even though we're in a variant universe, so it makes sense, right?
[01:20:11] Like there's so many good reasons to do Shalabal and not do the original version of the silver
[01:20:22] surfer.
[01:20:23] Um, I actually like the wife of the silver surfer too.
[01:20:26] And I think in the mainstream universe, she was his wife.
[01:20:31] And then in the alternate universe, he dies and she becomes the silver surfer.
[01:20:36] The Harold.
[01:20:37] Remember Galactus destroys their planet?
[01:20:39] And he's the lone survivor of his planet.
[01:20:42] Yep.
[01:20:43] Yep.
[01:20:44] All right.
[01:20:45] In the comics, Galactus has had several heralds.
[01:20:48] And these are individuals who are servants for the devourer of worlds that they scavenge
[01:20:52] the universe for desirable planets for their master to consume.
[01:20:58] And they signal his coming to what if what if he like finds like celestial planets?
[01:21:06] You know how we had the baby coming out of the ocean?
[01:21:09] Yeah.
[01:21:10] Like what if he's like searching for these like highly, um, I don't know power or energy
[01:21:16] within these planets, these eggs?
[01:21:18] It's bullet.
[01:21:19] He's looking for celestial bullet because Galactus is going to do power these celestial
[01:21:25] bullets.
[01:21:26] Oh my god.
[01:21:27] No, dude.
[01:21:28] If you remember back, if you remember back, right?
[01:21:32] What it's supposed to be they're basically supposed to be like like celestial or essentially
[01:21:36] maggots, dude.
[01:21:37] Like basically what they do.
[01:21:39] They are.
[01:21:41] If you if you really think about the way that they describe what celestial is a how they're
[01:21:46] born, they're born in a planet and they consume the planet with that that they're born into
[01:21:51] the idea of that celestial that's the baby that's coming out of the ocean was had it been
[01:21:57] allowed to just a just a and and become what it was supposed to.
[01:22:02] It was supposed to eat earth.
[01:22:04] Yeah.
[01:22:05] Maybe Galactus is a good guy.
[01:22:06] You know, I mean space maggots.
[01:22:08] Yeah.
[01:22:09] It's like when you put it in that context, you know, the media is like, oh my god, they
[01:22:12] are space maggots.
[01:22:13] I think Galactus is just Filipino.
[01:22:18] You want to see all this cosmic.
[01:22:21] Oh my god.
[01:22:22] What if they cast somebody Filipino to play him?
[01:22:25] Oh, you're like, you know, bear grills because maggots be a space maggots.
[01:22:30] Oh, there you go.
[01:22:31] There you go.
[01:22:32] That's good.
[01:22:33] But what if they just like hired a Pinoid to play like what if I got Joe Koi to play
[01:22:38] him?
[01:22:39] Yeah, right.
[01:22:40] Joe Koi.
[01:22:41] Right.
[01:22:42] And Joe Koi is like and you and what if Joe Koi played him?
[01:22:44] I'm not being annoyed, dude.
[01:22:48] Where is my son, Dregal?
[01:22:53] Do you have, uh, do you have soy sauce for this, uh, this earth?
[01:22:58] I need less.
[01:22:59] I need more.
[01:23:00] Put tangi na mo.
[01:23:01] I need my soy sauce.
[01:23:02] Get me sent Miguel.
[01:23:03] The movie is in the 1960s and will be George Brian Matt Shackman.
[01:23:13] Shackman.
[01:23:14] A screenplay by Josh Friedman who was brought on to rewrite the script originally written
[01:23:19] by Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer.
[01:23:21] Both of those not Filipino enough.
[01:23:22] So that's probably still doesn't mean they won't make him Filipino.
[01:23:27] Travesty.
[01:23:28] Fantastic for will hit theaters on July 25th, 2020.
[01:23:32] Boy.
[01:23:33] Absolutely.
[01:23:34] Uh, again, I think it's a, I said it before I'm just reiterating it.
[01:23:38] I think that it's a great move to do shallow ball.
[01:23:41] Uh, and, uh, I mean, again, I like it when they do different incarnations of characters
[01:23:47] and not do the original ones because you're still honoring the comics.
[01:23:51] You're still looking at like kind of like, you know, how all that goes.
[01:23:55] I mean, look at Ant-Man, you know what I mean?
[01:23:57] Like, you know, and they, and they still integrated the original storylines.
[01:24:00] They just did it later out later on.
[01:24:02] Right.
[01:24:03] You know, you can do.
[01:24:04] There's an iteration where the silver surfer, because there's, there's different versions
[01:24:08] of it, but like I think the most common one actually is silver surfer is the herald of
[01:24:13] galactis because he's protecting his planet.
[01:24:15] Because galactis says if you're my herald, then I won't eat your planet.
[01:24:18] Uh, so, you know, in this version, shallow balls, the one that, that, that took on the powers
[01:24:22] rather than her husband.
[01:24:24] Right.
[01:24:25] Cool.
[01:24:26] All right, let's keep it going.
[01:24:27] All right.
[01:24:28] So speaking of fantastic news, following the casting news that Julie Garner will play
[01:24:32] the shallow ball version of silver surfer in Marvel's The Fantastic Four.
[01:24:36] A new report has service confirming that galactis will indeed be the main villain.
[01:24:41] And he will be played by Joe Koy.
[01:24:43] You know, he's made by your Tito.
[01:24:48] And he is played by Tito James.
[01:24:52] Yeah.
[01:24:53] The news comes from Deadlines, Justin Crowell, who shared on X. That's funny.
[01:24:58] Seemed obvious given silver surfer's involvement, but yes, galactis is expected to be the main
[01:25:02] villain.
[01:25:03] And that role is currently open with no one in talks or holding or holding offer holding
[01:25:07] offer for role, amazing sense.
[01:25:09] With no one in talks or holding offers for the role at the I would be holding the offer
[01:25:15] for the role.
[01:25:16] Uh, is it talks but there is no confirmation yet?
[01:25:21] So who would you like to see cast as galactis?
[01:25:23] I don't think you need to answer that question because you already have.
[01:25:26] Oh, or you know who we do it.
[01:25:27] You know who we get to do it.
[01:25:28] Lou Diamond Phillips.
[01:25:29] Exactly.
[01:25:30] I don't know.
[01:25:31] Firstly, I think Lisa power cosmer would be pretty good, but you know, listen to the
[01:25:40] Ipe.
[01:25:41] Listen to the.
[01:25:42] Listen to the power guy.
[01:25:43] Cosmic.
[01:25:44] I have the power that's Cosmic.
[01:25:46] I am going to make your planet into C-SIG.
[01:25:54] Make your Jupiter into a double.
[01:26:01] Okay, all right.
[01:26:03] Let's give him this.
[01:26:05] This is awful.
[01:26:06] Oh God.
[01:26:07] I was trying to figure out what I was going to write James's joke into and I know it is
[01:26:11] not.
[01:26:12] I'm offended at my own jokes.
[01:26:16] As you should never be, I make so many spanner like like Hispanic jokes should not
[01:26:20] be.
[01:26:21] Should not be offended by Filipino jokes at all.
[01:26:25] Oh God, all right.
[01:26:27] Moving on, ladies and gentlemen, this next one will quench your Marvel thirst.
[01:26:31] All right.
[01:26:32] As fans have spotted over the past few weeks, Coca-Cola is now being packaged in special
[01:26:38] Marvel cans.
[01:26:39] Coke and Marvel officially announce the scope of the partnership which will result in
[01:26:43] a promotion across multiple platforms.
[01:26:45] According to Coke, that includes extensive television and social media advertising using
[01:26:50] a new comic book themed commercial.
[01:26:52] All right.
[01:26:53] Sounds very exciting and I'm very excited about it.
[01:26:57] The new cans will feature a total of 38 Marvel superheroes between Coke and Coke Zero.
[01:27:03] Coke Zero Sugar products.
[01:27:04] I always forget they changed it to Coke Zero Sugar.
[01:27:08] In total, 33 heroes will be featured in 38 designs across the products on Coke bottles
[01:27:12] and cans.
[01:27:13] Fans will be able to find designs featuring Blade, Cable, Colossus, Daredevil, Negasonic Teenage
[01:27:18] Warhead.
[01:27:19] Electra, Jaggerknot, Kingpin, Loki, Moon Knight, Wolverine, Deadpool, Nick Fury, Storm,
[01:27:25] only in the United States.
[01:27:26] Super scroll and War Machine.
[01:27:28] On Coke's thing.
[01:27:29] Yeah, very interesting.
[01:27:31] Now, those ones are only on regular Coke.
[01:27:33] So on Coke Zero bottles and cans, Coke drinkers will find designs featuring Ant-Man, Black Panther,
[01:27:39] Black Widow, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Groot, Hulk, Iron Man, Miss Marvel,
[01:27:45] C-Hoke, Rocket, Scarlet Witch, Shang-Chi, Star Lord Thanos and Thor.
[01:27:51] So I may have to spike the diabetes just to get a Deadpool can.
[01:27:58] They're just on the same team to be a like delineation at all.
[01:28:03] Like I thought maybe, oh, normal Coke is you know, the Avengers or something.
[01:28:07] Oh, there's other people right?
[01:28:09] Yeah, there's not only a theme which yeah.
[01:28:12] Well, I do see that the mutants are on the regular Coke cans.
[01:28:16] Right, but there's also Loki.
[01:28:18] There is also Loki and Moon Knight.
[01:28:20] And Moon Knight, Kingpin.
[01:28:21] And Nick Fury.
[01:28:22] It's like, okay.
[01:28:24] Technically, Daredevil's not a mutant.
[01:28:26] I mean, you could consider him a mutate with the way that he got his powers.
[01:28:30] Right, but still.
[01:28:31] Good play.
[01:28:32] I mean, if Coke Zero has pretty much just MCU.
[01:28:36] Right, well, they're all kind of technically MCU I guess, but.
[01:28:41] Well, I mean, and I'll check the Cality.
[01:28:43] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[01:28:44] I don't see any characters here that have not featured in the movie in the MCU so far or our show.
[01:28:50] Or or something.
[01:28:51] Yeah, there's been canonized retroactive.
[01:28:53] And that's why I'm saying like you know, Deadpool is considered MCU like both the first two
[01:28:57] movies are considered to you.
[01:28:59] So that's where we get cable colossus and that and the Sonic Teenage Warhead and all
[01:29:03] that stuff.
[01:29:04] Super scroll.
[01:29:05] It would have been funny TV show, but it's still MCU.
[01:29:08] Yeah, so the whole thing is everything is MCU.
[01:29:11] What would have been funny though is if they do only villains for the normal coke and
[01:29:14] then only heroes for the zero.
[01:29:16] Yeah, because because Coke Zero is the one that makes you a hero.
[01:29:20] Right.
[01:29:21] See there you go.
[01:29:22] And that's the tagline.
[01:29:23] Exactly.
[01:29:24] Coke Zero makes you a hero each of the cans.
[01:29:27] There it is.
[01:29:28] Each of the cans will include QR codes enabling an AR experience as Coke officially calls it
[01:29:35] or Coke officials call it.
[01:29:37] Our fans will be able to compete to compete various prizes, including the ultimate fan experience
[01:29:43] Disney cruise.
[01:29:44] Disney cruise Marvel movie screenings collectible influencer boxes movie tickets autographed
[01:29:52] memorabilia Disney plus subscriptions and more.
[01:29:56] So we're also enabling diabetes very much very much.
[01:30:01] I noticed actually so every now and then I will just like open up Twitter just to see
[01:30:06] what's going on there because I try to stay away from or X.
[01:30:09] I guess is what it is.
[01:30:10] I try to stay away from it as much as possible, but I opened it up the other like earlier today
[01:30:15] and actually it's the first thing that popped up right here.
[01:30:17] Koizhangero from used to be new with new rock stars now.
[01:30:21] Right.
[01:30:22] What I'm he guys is coke up has.
[01:30:24] He's on everything.
[01:30:25] But I mean, yeah, it's got it's got Wolverine and Deadpool on the cup and look in the other
[01:30:31] thing is Wolverine's whole thing on there is it's him with the mask on.
[01:30:36] Oh, that's I think that's like the first take of what he looks like with the mask on
[01:30:40] because we haven't seen him in any of the ads with the with the mask on yet.
[01:30:43] I think the only other thing we've seen with the mask on was there was a there was
[01:30:48] a a
[01:30:50] What's up?
[01:30:51] Promark.
[01:30:52] Oh, all right.
[01:30:53] Very cool.
[01:30:54] And you know what else also may want may make you want to have a mask on all the time.
[01:31:00] It's the fact that we have merch people.
[01:31:02] Oh, I wasn't ready for this ladies and gentlemen.
[01:31:04] We got merch people.
[01:31:07] And no, we're not selling a dissimisturting mask.
[01:31:12] Yeah, I'm waiting for James to say the line.
[01:31:14] We had hat.
[01:31:15] No, we don't know what happened.
[01:31:19] We don't have had we have we don't have had anymore.
[01:31:24] We lost the hat.
[01:31:25] Uh, no, back window open.
[01:31:27] We lost the asset.
[01:31:28] Some point now we've lost the whole word.
[01:31:30] So so we don't have had anymore because hat was given to Mingjin.
[01:31:35] Oh, okay.
[01:31:36] I'm okay with that.
[01:31:37] So so so little context on that whole thing, right?
[01:31:42] On Friday when we got in, um, Cam was like showing people around like he was showing the
[01:31:47] guests around you know, showing everybody where they were at and whatnot.
[01:31:50] And he was decked out in distance nerding gear.
[01:31:54] And so he's
[01:31:56] got him.
[01:31:57] Thanks for wrapping at least somebody does young Phil and so I was wearing this dissimisturting
[01:32:01] all weekend.
[01:32:02] So, uh, so he, uh, he takes Ming to his table and Ming goes do that had his bad ass, right?
[01:32:09] Oh, nice.
[01:32:10] And so Cam tells me he goes, dude, he really liked my hat.
[01:32:13] And I was like, okay, well, I've got one Heather Gray one left.
[01:32:16] So I'm going to give it to him.
[01:32:17] I gave him that and then I didn't have the black shirt in his size.
[01:32:21] So I gave him one of the character shirts.
[01:32:23] Mm.
[01:32:24] Oh, that's cool.
[01:32:25] I gave him a little bit because he was like, dude, this hat is sick as fuck.
[01:32:27] And he goes, uh, remind me I have to give you one of my hats, but he's going to give
[01:32:31] me a Heather Gray shared universe hat.
[01:32:33] Oh, that's awesome.
[01:32:34] Because I gave him a Heather Gray distance nerding hat.
[01:32:37] And then when he looked at the shirt because I was like, that's the only one I got man in
[01:32:40] your size is that our character sure he goes, let's characters look dope though, man.
[01:32:43] I'm I'm I'm totally aware of that nice.
[01:32:45] Nice.
[01:32:46] Yeah.
[01:32:47] So Ming, uh, I gave him a shirt and the hat.
[01:32:49] So we no longer have hat.
[01:32:51] Okay.
[01:32:52] All right.
[01:32:53] I mean, if we're going to get rid of a hat, that's the way to get rid of a hat.
[01:32:56] So shout out to Cam.
[01:32:57] Thanks for doing that.
[01:32:58] Shout out to Ming.
[01:32:59] So that's such a cool.
[01:33:00] You know, if you want hat track down Ming, or if you want hat, wait for us to make more
[01:33:06] of them because eventually we will.
[01:33:09] He might give you give you the hat out at a discount.
[01:33:11] Yeah.
[01:33:12] Yeah.
[01:33:13] Or, you know, an upcharge.
[01:33:14] We'll see where we're going to be seeing Ming a lot over the next year because he's
