[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_06]: Waiting for him to finish the line.
[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Starting rumors.
[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_06]: Are we going back to Westview?
[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, maybe we are.
[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_06]: Maybe we are.
[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_06]: We will find out and talk about it in a minute.
[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_06]: And of course the download.
[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_02]: We got the tea on the latest streamer and it's delicious.
[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Absolutely.
[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_07]: And it sounds like tea.
[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_07]: It's more like one of the frosted lemonade.
[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I see what you did.
[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_01]: It's chai baby.
[00:06:07] [SPEAKER_06]: I see what you did there.
[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_06]: But before we do all of that, ladies and gentlemen, let me get a shout out.
[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, actually before we even get into this, ladies and gentlemen,
[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_06]: we've got a segment that we haven't done in a long time.
[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_06]: Ladies and gentlemen, this week is the return of Mailbag.
[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah, that's right.
[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Mailbag, MailSphere, Mailbag.
[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_06]: So ladies and gentlemen, Tuesday means mail.
[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_06]: We got an email this morning or not this morning last week,
[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_06]: right after the show from a friend of the show, DT Creates.
[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_06]: He's also in the chat right now on Twitch.
[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_06]: So I'm going to go ahead and read this.
[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_06]: Hello, Distance Nerding Crew.
[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_06]: I am a middle-aged man from the Bay Area.
[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_06]: I have been a huge fan of the show, particularly, particularly Mr. Young Phil.
[00:06:57] [SPEAKER_06]: He brought so much laughter and joy in my life.
[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_06]: And I just want to thank him for putting on a fun show on the Distance Nerding podcast.
[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_06]: Phil is an extraordinary... did I write this?
[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_06]: Phil is an extraordinary human being with so many talents,
[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_06]: especially his voice impression of celebrities and fictional characters.
[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh my God.
[00:07:16] [SPEAKER_06]: Wait a minute, James, before you blah from all of that.
[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_06]: Also, I would like to give a huge shout out to James,
[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_06]: the other host and babysitter on the show.
[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_06]: He's such a sweet man with a sweet baby face.
[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_06]: Lastly, I would like to know if Phil will be doing game streams on Twitch
[00:07:34] [SPEAKER_06]: like he used to do. He's such an amazing gamer.
[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_06]: Yes, I have been doing game streams.
[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_06]: Darren, I've been playing Mad Max on Mondays.
[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_06]: And this week we're going to be starting...
[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_06]: Why am I highlighted?
[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_06]: This week I'm going to be starting the Star Wars Outlaws on Monday.
[00:07:55] [SPEAKER_06]: So I've already got it downloaded.
[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_06]: It's ready.
[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_06]: We're starting Star Wars Outlaws this Monday.
[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_02]: It should do when I were talking about that.
[00:08:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Like yesterday or I don't know.
[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_06]: Because it got released yesterday.
[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay. That probably was when we were talking about it.
[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I probably stopped learning about that.
[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_02]: We will probably also get it at some point and play it.
[00:08:15] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's cool.
[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, Star Wars Outlaws.
[00:08:18] [SPEAKER_06]: And then I'm going to be playing Epic Mickey later on next month
[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_06]: once that game starts up.
[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_06]: So I'm going to have a whole bunch of fun guys.
[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_06]: So that's that right there.
[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_06]: And of course, getting back into the shout out to again,
[00:08:30] [SPEAKER_06]: one more shout out to Darren.
[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_06]: Thank you so much for the email.
[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_06]: We appreciate you man.
[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_06]: But let's...
[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Even though you didn't mention me and I have clearly been on the show for a while.
[00:08:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought it was an amazing email.
[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not ever going to say anything.
[00:08:45] [SPEAKER_02]: James will say something because he's the babysitter.
[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Because he's going to complain like,
[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_06]: whoa, he's got so many good things to say about Phil.
[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_06]: Never anything about me.
[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_06]: It was always Phil heavy.
[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_06]: Come on.
[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_06]: That's why I said, did I write this?
[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_02]: It was a glowing review of Phil.
[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_02]: But then he like, he's, you know, like,
[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_02]: ninja'd in that James has a sweet baby face.
[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, that's pretty much it.
[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_02]: So I feel like we should start calling him sweet baby Jay.
[00:09:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Sweet baby.
[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_06]: That makes sense because he does call him sweet baby face.
[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_06]: So ladies and gentlemen, let's get into this.
[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_06]: Shout out to Tubby.

[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_06]: So with that being said, ladies and gentlemen, let's move into the next segment.
[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_06]: It is now time for the geek end update.
[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_07]: What?
[00:10:54] [SPEAKER_07]: What?
[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_07]: What?
[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_07]: Well, hold on.
[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to say something.
[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Every time I see something on the Mormon church,
[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I think more on church and I just thought of it just now.
[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_06]: And you just said that out loud.
[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Just know if you guys see something.
[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_02]: I apologize to all of our.
[00:11:10] [SPEAKER_07]: I apologize.
[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not saying that Mormons are morons.
[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just saying that's the first thing I see.
[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean,
[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_02]: we apologize to the entire state of Utah.
[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not saying anything like that.
[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_02]: All people deserve to believe in whatever they want to believe.
[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_02]: And that's fine.
[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_02]: And if you want to live in Utah and you want to be a Mormon or if you want to be in Idaho
[00:11:30] [SPEAKER_02]: and be a Mormon,
[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_02]: if you want to be anywhere and be a Mormon,
[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_02]: you can absolutely do that.
[00:11:35] [SPEAKER_02]: And we just live your life.
[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_06]: We apologize to the entire state of Utah for.
[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_07]: All I ask is that you stop oppressing gay people.
[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_07]: That's all I ask.
[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Hey, let's not even get into that.
[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm just saying, you know,
[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_07]: we're moving on.
[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_07]: We're moving on.
[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_07]: Let's not talk about it out loud.
[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it was the morphine and I thought morphine.
[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just disinterested in the form of Comradion.

[00:11:58] [SPEAKER_07]: even this episode and a second show,
[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_07]: a comic conversation has a new logo each week
[00:12:04] [SPEAKER_07]: on ComacontashRadio.com slash podcast.
[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_07]: Someone put that in the chat, not me.
[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Not you.
[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_07]: Look at that logo.
[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_07]: Look at that.
[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_08]: Hold on.
[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_08]: Shout out.

[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_08]: Hey, can you kind of have it inspired by the actual
[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_08]: Distance Learning logo?
[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_08]: And he worked with us.
[00:12:31] [SPEAKER_08]: And I love the way it turned out.
[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_08]: It's cool and it's sexy and it's using our colors
[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_08]: still using the bolt.
[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_08]: So shout out to should do for making some beautiful artwork
[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_02]: James said he wanted to do everything in purple at one point.
[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_02]: We all had to go like, Hey, hey, hey,
[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_02]: we need to get off the ledge and yeah.
[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_06]: Anyway,
[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_06]: All right, well let's
[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_06]: Let's let's get to this because we do have a guest
[00:12:58] [SPEAKER_06]: ready in the wings here for for one of the segments here.
[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_06]: So let's get to this here real quick.
[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_06]: Ladies and gentlemen,
[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_06]: we just got back from Power Morphicon.
[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_06]: So Sunday,
[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_06]: you know, just kind of give you guys a quick,
[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_06]: like to do on what would happen.
[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_06]: We left that three in the morning to drive six hours
[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_06]: to get to Pasadena, which we got there on time.
[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_06]: We got a shout out because we got a chance to host
[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_06]: the Reds Across Time panel over at Power Morphicon.
[00:13:30] [SPEAKER_06]: So big shout out to Sack Geeks for bringing us on
[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_06]: an interview and 30 years of Red Rangers and one amazing panel.
[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_06]: We talked with David Bacon, Patrick David, Jason Fawn.
[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_06]: Dan Southworth showed up towards the end.
[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_06]: Adam Tuminin, Brandon J. McLaren, Brandon,
[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_06]: Brandon Mejia, Rory D. Travis, Hunter Dino.
[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_06]: There was another ranger that showed up
[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_06]: that wasn't on the list originally.
[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_06]: I have his name here. Hold on.
[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Was it Danny?
[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_08]: I forgot who it was, but it was a fun, fun panel.
[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_08]: It was a good turnout.
[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_08]: It was one of the bigger panels of the weekend.
[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_08]: So it was super nice of Sack Geeks to let us host this panel.
[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_08]: We got the tag team. The room was packed.
[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_08]: We had the stage was packed.
[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_08]: I think there were 10 Rangers, all Red Rangers,
[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_08]: all at one time up there.
[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_08]: So it was really cool.
[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_08]: And you know, there were a lot of male Rangers,
[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_08]: Australian Rangers, female Rangers,
[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_08]: African American Rangers.
[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_08]: It was awesome.
[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_08]: It was really cool checking it all out.
[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_08]: They all had great stories.
[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_08]: So much fun.
[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_08]: And the attendees had some really deep cut questions.
[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_08]: And everybody answered him.
[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_08]: It was so much fun.
[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_08]: It was so much fun.
[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_08]: Shout out to its REC Time Media, right?
[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_08]: On YouTube.
[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_08]: I think he's already posted a version of it up there.
[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_08]: So we should put it...
[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_08]: I think actually we did.
[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_08]: I think we put a version in the Nerdington post on Facebook.
[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_08]: So the Distance Nerdington Post is our little group.
[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_08]: We posted one of the videos there.
[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_08]: But I know there's a couple more now that I just saw pop up today.
[00:15:00] [SPEAKER_08]: So we'll post more in the Nerdington Post later.
[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_08]: Right.
[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_06]: The other Rangers that showed up...
[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_06]: So Russell Curry showed up and we talked with him on the panel,
[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_06]: Andrew Gray.
[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_06]: And then one of the big deals was Chris Kyman Lee,
[00:15:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Kamin Lee showed up.
[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_06]: And he was one of the Cycle Rangers.
[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_06]: So shout outs to all those guys.
[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_06]: It was a lot of fun.
[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_06]: That's awesome.
[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_06]: So then after...
[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_06]: Before the show, we got to see some of our past friends as well.
[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_06]: So not only did we get the chance to talk with all these Red Rangers,
[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_06]: but we went onto the show floor.
[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_06]: We saw our friends of the show.
[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_06]: People we've interviewed in the past.
[00:15:40] [SPEAKER_06]: We talked to Jack Guzman who was there.
[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_06]: Romy J. Scharf who played Alpha Five, jazz Badwalia,
[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_06]: who is the first Indian Power Ranger,
[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_06]: but also Reno's own jazz Badwalia.
[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_06]: Tony Oliver, friend of the show, Tony Oliver.
[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Tony was there.
[00:16:01] [SPEAKER_06]: We said, what's up Tony?
[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_06]: For a little bit, Carla Perez.
[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_06]: The original reader, Repulsa, we talked to her.
[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_06]: Just kind of just went and hung out with a bunch of our friends
[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_06]: and saying hi.
[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_08]: It was funny.
[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_08]: So we thought we were cool, man.
[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_08]: We walked in.
[00:16:16] [SPEAKER_08]: We're like, oh, we got to pick up our badges or media badges.
[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_08]: They're like, sure, come on.
[00:16:21] [SPEAKER_08]: We're hosting a panel right this way, sir.
[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_08]: Walk in the floor.
[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_08]: You know, like, oh, you look at us.
[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_08]: We're media.
[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_08]: Look at us.
[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, we're hosting a panel.
[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_08]: Nobody talked to us.
[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_08]: And then, you know, we were walking by and it was all cool.
[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_08]: Like let's go say hi to people we know.
[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_08]: And then as we were walking by, Tony Oliver,
[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_08]: like passes the other way.
[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_08]: And I total fanboyed out like, believe me, it's like no big deal.
[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_08]: You guys interviewed him like a month or two ago.
[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_08]: But you know, I didn't get to interview him.
[00:16:48] [SPEAKER_08]: So I was like all geeking out because Tony Oliver,
[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_08]: he helped create Power Rangers,
[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_08]: but he also was the voice of Rick Hunter and Robotech.
[00:16:55] [SPEAKER_08]: One of my, you know, childhood like faves.
[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_08]: So like as you walk by,
[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_08]: Felipe didn't even notice, but I saw him walk by.
[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm like, Tony Oliver.
[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Wait, oh, that's how you're, that's how your hair went silver.
[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_06]: It's funny because he turned around and he was like, huh, Tony.
[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_06]: And I was like, oh shit, it's Tony Oliver.
[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_06]: And I was like, yeah, what's up Tony man?
[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_06]: How's it going?
[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_08]: I saw Tony was like, like freaked out for a second.
[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_08]: And then Felipe's like, what's up Tony?
[00:17:18] [SPEAKER_08]: How's it going?
[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_06]: No, you know what Tony turned around and looked at us like,
[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_06]: who are you guys and what's going on now?
[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_06]: And I was like, no, Tony, remember we, we did the interview
[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_06]: and at Gem State he goes, oh yeah, that's right.
[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, so I had to like remind him that we didn't
[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_06]: interview with him, but like, you know, he was, he was,
[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_06]: he was really cool man.
[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_06]: Like, and then we came back and talked to him later
[00:17:36] [SPEAKER_06]: on the day.
[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_06]: It was, it was fun man.
[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_06]: So again, shout out to Sack Geeks.
[00:17:41] [SPEAKER_06]: Thank you.
[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_06]: Thank you so much for the opportunity to host such a big
[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_06]: panel at such a massive con.
[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Shout out to Bex, April Pam, everybody from, from Sack Geeks.
[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_06]: Shout out to the DeLong for stepping up for the con itself.
[00:17:55] [SPEAKER_06]: They did amazing.
[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_06]: They did picture coverage.
[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_06]: They were helping with doing raffles and everything like that.
[00:18:00] [SPEAKER_06]: It's awesome.
[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_06]: We, we, I said it on the game stream yesterday,
[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_06]: but I really appreciate you guys because you guys have
[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_06]: stepped up and done so much work and help and helping
[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_06]: us too.
[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_06]: You guys are awesome and we love you.
[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Of course, Taylor, AKA Tater Bob, he showed up,
[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_06]: but he slept most of the time.
[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, he did.
[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_08]: He was sleeping a couple of times.
[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_06]: He's going to be like, I wasn't sleeping.
[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_06]: All right, but that was powerful.
[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_02]: You know what?
[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just going to say that I'm very proud of all of you.
[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And I know that you guys did 110% and it makes my mom
[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_02]: heart proud.
[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, mom was with David spirit.
[00:18:41] [SPEAKER_06]: She was mommin' with us the entire time.
[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_06]: Love it.
[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Love it.
[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Anyway, but that was, that was the weekend.
[00:18:47] [SPEAKER_06]: Let's look forward.
[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_06]: Absolutely.
[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_06]: So ladies and gentlemen, let's get right into this.
[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_06]: So let's do the intro first and then,
[00:18:55] [SPEAKER_06]: and then we'll bring on our guests here because ladies
[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_06]: and gentlemen, Kaboom Khan is coming.
[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_06]: We're not too far away and we're super,
[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_06]: super excited for Kaboom Khan.
[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know about you guys,
[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_06]: but let's give a quick little thing.
[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_06]: September 7th, Carson City,
[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_06]: our friends, Lawrence and Diego Iriarte are going to be there.
[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Cosplay for Kindness, another friend of the show.
[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Chris Marronan, another friend of the show.
[00:19:19] [SPEAKER_06]: Brett Anderson is going to be there for all of our
[00:19:22] [SPEAKER_06]: comic fans out there.
[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_06]: So many artists, so many vendors.
[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_06]: Stephen Yu's going to be there.
[00:19:28] [SPEAKER_06]: We're going to be talking with him on stage.
[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, awesome.
[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_06]: The horror dads are going to be there again,
[00:19:32] [SPEAKER_06]: talking with them.
[00:19:33] [SPEAKER_06]: It's going to be a good, good time.
[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_06]: So talk more about Kaboom Khan, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:19:38] [SPEAKER_06]: The promoter and co-creator of Kaboom Khan.
[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm probably getting that wrong,
[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_06]: but I'm still throwing it out there.
[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Mark Heldin, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Hey, what's up?
[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_06]: Hey, Mark.
[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_06]: What's good, everyone?
[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_06]: How's it going, man?
[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_08]: What's happening?
[00:19:54] [SPEAKER_06]: Living the dream one day at a time.
[00:19:55] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean, that's the only way we can do it, right?
[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_06]: Absolutely.
[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_06]: Whoa.
[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_08]: Why would you put me in the front?
[00:20:00] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm putting him on the top.
[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_08]: You know what, Mark?
[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_08]: I got to say it's always been great meeting you.
[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_08]: I think we, I think the last time I saw you was powerhouse.com.
[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_08]: But one thing Silver Age.
[00:20:13] [SPEAKER_08]: Silver Age was after that.
[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_08]: That's right.
[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_08]: But one thing I noticed about you is your cool ass shirts.
[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, thank you.
[00:20:20] [SPEAKER_08]: Every time I see you have these cool ass shirts.
[00:20:23] [SPEAKER_08]: When I saw you at a powerhouse,
[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_08]: you have the Kaboom Khan shirt going.
[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_08]: And now I see the IC sound shirt.
[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_08]: Absolutely.
[00:20:32] [SPEAKER_08]: Can you hook us up with your stylist after this?
[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_08]: Because they're called drip dealers.
[00:20:36] [SPEAKER_05]: So I do these myself.
[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_05]: I design them myself.
[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_05]: I get them printed myself.
[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_05]: So if you want, I'm happy to take your logo and get it done for you.
[00:20:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Ooh, he's a drip dealer too.
[00:20:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Mark's a drip dealer.
[00:20:50] [SPEAKER_05]: I'd rather be a drip dealer than a drug dealer.
[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I see that.
[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Different sets of problems.
[00:20:56] [SPEAKER_06]: I see you.
[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, let's talk some Kaboom Khan.
[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm excited for this show.
[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_08]: It's going to be awesome.
[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_05]: I'm excited to have you guys there.
[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_05]: You know, it's an amazing thing Kaboom Khan.
[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_05]: This was a brainchild of attending a bad con last year.
[00:21:14] [SPEAKER_05]: And, you know, it made me look to my business partner, James Lewis,
[00:21:17] [SPEAKER_05]: who you guys have met.
[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_05]: I think we can do this better.
[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_05]: So pop culture Kabooms host Jimmy Jones,
[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_05]: I reached out to him because he's got a ton of con experiences.
[00:21:27] [SPEAKER_05]: I said, hey man, can I do this?
[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_05]: And he was like, well, you need to do it in Carson City.
[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_05]: And I said, why sell me?
[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_05]: Because I was planning to do it in Reno.
[00:21:35] [SPEAKER_05]: I was like, why would I do Carson City?
[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_05]: And he was like, because there's never been a comic convention in
[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_05]: Carson City.
[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_05]: I said, all right, let's go.
[00:21:42] [SPEAKER_05]: So I like to be first.
[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_05]: I like to, you know, I want to be the one to kick it off.
[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_02]: So this is the first ever Ricky Bobby of you.
[00:21:49] [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, well, thank you.
[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
[00:21:52] [SPEAKER_05]: All I need is a race car.
[00:21:56] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[00:21:56] [SPEAKER_05]: So I'm excited, especially as you guys already mentioned some of
[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_05]: the names that we've got coming to me, Brent Anderson,
[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_05]: who has not attended a con in the US since 2019, you know,
[00:22:07] [SPEAKER_05]: coming out for us again because of, as you mentioned,
[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_05]: Lawrence and Diego keeping those close, you know,
[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_05]: relational ties.
[00:22:13] [SPEAKER_05]: It's important pays off in the long run.
[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_05]: Right.
[00:22:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, absolutely.
[00:22:17] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_05]: Of course, we've got you guys coming to moderate some panels.
[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_05]: So that'll be nice.
[00:22:24] [SPEAKER_05]: Hope you guys are prepped.
[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_05]: Do you need anything from me?
[00:22:26] [SPEAKER_08]: Always.
[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_08]: We need everything.
[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_08]: We need all the things.
[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, they say that James does James is like, okay, guys,
[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_02]: don't ever ask for anything.
[00:22:36] [SPEAKER_06]: No, what we need is a bowl of nothing but brown M&Ms.
[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Shut up.
[00:22:42] [SPEAKER_02]: You're not.
[00:22:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_06]: So first of all,
[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_05]: they don't make the brown and M&Ms anymore.
[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_05]: That's why we want them.
[00:22:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Are you talking about the light brown or the dark brown?
[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_05]: And, and which, uh,
[00:22:54] [SPEAKER_05]: which universe are we in right now?
[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_05]: Because did they ever actually exist?
[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_06]: They did.
[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, go ahead.
[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_06]: No, I was going to say Ozzy Osbourne used to have him on his
[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_06]: rider and yeah, and they would, uh, that's, that's,
[00:23:06] [SPEAKER_06]: that's where the joke is coming from.
[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_06]: If you, if you know,
[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_06]: if you know behind the scenes stuff, you know that Ozzy
[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_06]: Osbourne used to have that on his rider that he wouldn't
[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_06]: that he needed nothing but brown M&Ms and they would find
[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_06]: them.
[00:23:16] [SPEAKER_05]: I used to work Oz Fest every year and have met the man
[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_05]: and I can attest that that is a true statement.
[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_06]: I used to work in the music industry.
[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_06]: So that's how I know this.
[00:23:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I used to eat brown M&Ms.
[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_05]: I think I did, but then I'm told that I'm in the wrong
[00:23:31] [SPEAKER_05]: universe that I'm from somewhere else.
[00:23:33] [SPEAKER_05]: I think I was born.
[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Is this a whole fruit of the loom cornucopia thing?
[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_07]: It's the Mandela.
[00:23:38] [SPEAKER_05]: Bears.
[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_06]: It's Mandela back.
[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:23:42] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, I, I too have been,
[00:23:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I've had the Mandela effect about stuff,
[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_02]: but then I have a very vivid imagination and there are
[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_02]: times when I think I've seen unicorns.
[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, it could be 50-50.
[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_05]: Okay.
[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to tangent for a second.
[00:23:57] [SPEAKER_05]: What is a unicorn?
[00:23:58] [SPEAKER_05]: A unicorn.
[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_05]: It's a horse with a horn.
[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_05]: Wrong.
[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Actually it's a goat with one horn.
[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not.
[00:24:04] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, oh, please.
[00:24:05] [SPEAKER_07]: It's rhinoceros.
[00:24:05] [SPEAKER_05]: That is correct.
[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Well yeah, because it, yeah, I was going to say rhinos.
[00:24:11] [SPEAKER_02]: They thought that, yeah.
[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_02]: No, but.
[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_05]: This goes back to the phrase unicorn was used in the Bible.
[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_05]: Like, right.
[00:24:17] [SPEAKER_07]: And they used it to mean, to mean rhinoceros.
[00:24:19] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[00:24:19] [SPEAKER_05]: Yes, correct.
[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_05]: I love the English language and how we just make things
[00:24:23] [SPEAKER_05]: whatever we want it to be.
[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_05]: Oh yeah.
[00:24:25] [SPEAKER_06]: No.
[00:24:25] [SPEAKER_06]: So there were rhinos in Scotland?
[00:24:29] No.
[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_06]: Because.
[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_06]: Well because the unicorn is.
[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_06]: I was going to say because the Scottish national animal
[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_06]: was a unicorn.
[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Probably because of the Bible.
[00:24:39] [SPEAKER_07]: It's fine.
[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Look, you can't tell a Scotsman if something exists or
[00:24:44] [SPEAKER_02]: not.
[00:24:44] [SPEAKER_02]: They're going to make their own determination.
[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_07]: That's a good point.
[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_05]: So you're just, you're going all off tonight, right?
[00:24:50] [SPEAKER_05]: You're going to offend the Mormons and I was Scott.
[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_05]: I know, right?
[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I wasn't trying to.
[00:24:55] [SPEAKER_02]: I like, I was just thinking about how sometimes I see words
[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_02]: and but my brain thinks it's a different word.
[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_02]: And I was thinking, oh, the one that really gets me is
[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Mormon and I see more on it.
[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, that is not like a.
[00:25:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Why did you get up again?
[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely not.
[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_05]: I get it.
[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_05]: I understand what you're saying, but you just dig in,
[00:25:15] [SPEAKER_05]: you know.
[00:25:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, absolutely.
[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_07]: We got the name of the show tonight.
[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_07]: This whole is not going to get any shallower.
[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_05]: So anyways, kaboom con.
[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[00:25:27] [SPEAKER_08]: So we talked about it that Lawrence and Diego Eriartere
[00:25:31] [SPEAKER_08]: are going to be there.
[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_08]: So we know them from, from lumpia.
[00:25:35] [SPEAKER_08]: The movie or lumpia with a vengeance, the comic books.
[00:25:39] [SPEAKER_08]: They're great friends of the show.
[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_08]: Actually you helped set up an interview with them at
[00:25:43] [SPEAKER_08]: Silver Age Comic Con.
[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_08]: So thank you very much.
[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely.
[00:25:46] [SPEAKER_08]: But I see your background and I know they have some
[00:25:49] [SPEAKER_08]: special things that, you know, you all are working on
[00:25:52] [SPEAKER_08]: over there with at fun.
[00:25:54] [SPEAKER_08]: What is it?
[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_08]: Mickey Mouse, fantastic worlds of Steamboat Willie.
[00:25:58] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I see.
[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_05]: I told Lawrence the in the and the of they're a
[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_05]: little too small, right?
[00:26:03] [SPEAKER_05]: Mickey Mouse in the fantastic worlds of Steamboat
[00:26:07] [SPEAKER_05]: Willie.
[00:26:07] [SPEAKER_05]: Got it.
[00:26:08] [SPEAKER_05]: I told him we should make that bigger.
[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_08]: I know.
[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_08]: And by the way, this is all from IC sound comics.
[00:26:13] [SPEAKER_08]: Thus the shirt, very nice branding.
[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.
[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_08]: Young Phil.
[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_08]: Somebody wears a shirt with branding.
[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_06]: I wore a shirt yesterday.
[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_02]: So I wore a shirt to dad cool Wolverine.
[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_08]: Let's let's talk about that because this was a fun
[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_08]: project to talk about with them.
[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_08]: But let's hear it from from you and I know there's
[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_08]: some announcements that are going to be happening at
[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_08]: the show.
[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_08]: So yeah, give us the dirt.
[00:26:38] [SPEAKER_08]: Give us the team.
[00:26:39] [SPEAKER_05]: Well, so rewind back to.
[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_05]: About a year and a half ago, I am an audio drama
[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_05]: producer as well.
[00:26:47] [SPEAKER_05]: And you said enough productions.
[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_05]: We've got Murphy's Inc.
[00:26:51] [SPEAKER_05]: And James Lewis, my partner was like, Hey, we should
[00:26:54] [SPEAKER_05]: bring in Lawrence to direct some episodes.
[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_05]: And I was like, I've never worked with him in that
[00:26:58] [SPEAKER_05]: way.
[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_05]: Is he any good?
[00:27:00] [SPEAKER_05]: And he's like, Oh yeah.
[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_05]: And he tells me about this comic book stuff that
[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_05]: James did with him way back in the day.
[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_05]: And I was like, Okay, let's bring him in.
[00:27:06] [SPEAKER_05]: So we have him direct three episodes of Murphy's
[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_05]: Inc.
[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_05]: Fast forward a little bit.
[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_05]: We're at a con last year and we're sitting there
[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_05]: and he's telling Lawrence is telling me all of these
[00:27:14] [SPEAKER_05]: ideas that he has for different properties.
[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_05]: And I just simply asked him, what are you waiting
[00:27:19] [SPEAKER_05]: for?
[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_05]: Why aren't you doing these?
[00:27:21] [SPEAKER_05]: These are amazing to me.
[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_05]: It sounds cool.
[00:27:24] [SPEAKER_05]: And that's, you know, Lawrence talks about this
[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_05]: too, right?
[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_05]: The cool factor if it sounds cool to be, it's
[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_05]: probably going to sound cool to somebody else.
[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_05]: So he was like, Well, you know, we've been
[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_05]: working on this for the last decade almost.
[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_05]: And you know, we're it's hard to move away from
[00:27:39] [SPEAKER_05]: it.
[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_05]: And I said, No, I get that.
[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_05]: But if you're there's nothing says you can't do
[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_05]: that and still do this, right?
[00:27:45] [SPEAKER_05]: He was like, Well, you know, maybe.
[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_05]: And so we were kicking the cam a little bit.
[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_05]: And I said, Well, hey, I want to do a Murphy's
[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_05]: Inc. comic book.
[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_05]: What do you guys think about that?
[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_05]: And, and Lawrence and Diego were like, Okay,
[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_05]: that'd be really cool to do.
[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_05]: So we started talking about it.
[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_05]: And, you know, I don't know if Lawrence has
[00:28:02] [SPEAKER_05]: ever talked about it with you guys, but he
[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_05]: created this little thing called G and E graphic
[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_05]: novel experience.
[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_05]: And it was based off of Batman year one, I believe,
[00:28:12] [SPEAKER_05]: where he took it and got a bunch of voice actors up
[00:28:15] [SPEAKER_05]: on the stage.
[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_05]: And then they had the visuals appear on screen as
[00:28:18] [SPEAKER_05]: the voice actors were acting through it.
[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_05]: And I was like, Okay, that's really cool.
[00:28:21] [SPEAKER_05]: That's kind of the concept of what I'm thinking is
[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_05]: we take a Murphy's Inc.
[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_05]: comic book and then we create the audio drama
[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_05]: component to go with it, like a companion.
[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_05]: So we're talking through this and there,
[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_05]: they start pitching me the other ideas and
[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_05]: Mickey Mouse in the fantastic world's
[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_05]: esteem, but Willie comes up and he's
[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_05]: sharing this story, this pitch with me.
[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_05]: And I'm just like, that is a Mickey Mouse
[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_05]: Odyssey.
[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_05]: That is, you know, Mickey has been involved in
[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_05]: so many stories that aren't his own, that are
[00:28:50] [SPEAKER_05]: amazing Christmas Carol, three musketeers,
[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_05]: Jack and the Beanstalk, right?
[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_05]: But he's never really had his own epic.
[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_05]: And I felt like the one thing that I told
[00:29:00] [SPEAKER_05]: Lawrence and Diego is if we were going to do
[00:29:01] [SPEAKER_05]: Mickey, we have to stay true to what Walt's
[00:29:04] [SPEAKER_05]: vision of Mickey was because I'm a huge
[00:29:07] [SPEAKER_05]: Disney fan up on my wall here in my
[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_05]: office, I quite literally have the first
[00:29:12] [SPEAKER_05]: ever sketch of Disneyland.
[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_05]: And I look to it for inspiration when I'm
[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_05]: trying to work on things.
[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_05]: And so they agreed, they love Disney,
[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_05]: they love everything mouse.
[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_05]: And so it was like, okay, let's start
[00:29:23] [SPEAKER_05]: walking down this path and along the way
[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_05]: we came up with, you know, they presented
[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_05]: pitched, you know, another six other
[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_05]: properties.
[00:29:31] [SPEAKER_05]: So basically what's going to be happening
[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_05]: at KaboomCon in regards to IC Sound
[00:29:35] [SPEAKER_05]: Comics, there's going to be a one hour and
[00:29:37] [SPEAKER_05]: 45 minute presentation.
[00:29:39] [SPEAKER_05]: This will be filmed.
[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_05]: We've got a film crew coming in.
[00:29:42] [SPEAKER_05]: We have some major studios interested
[00:29:44] [SPEAKER_05]: already and we haven't even presented
[00:29:46] [SPEAKER_05]: anything yet.
[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_05]: So we will be showcasing
[00:29:50] [SPEAKER_05]: eight individual properties that
[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_05]: we'll be releasing an issue one of
[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_05]: over the next 14 months.
[00:29:57] [SPEAKER_05]: I love it.
[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Congratulations.
[00:29:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_05]: Thank you.
[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_05]: And I am officially my business,
[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_05]: 97 Down Productions and IC Sound Comics.
[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_05]: I am the first ever comic book publisher
[00:30:07] [SPEAKER_05]: out of the state in Nevada.
[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_05]: Wow.
[00:30:09] [SPEAKER_08]: Wow, that's awesome.
[00:30:11] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:30:11] [SPEAKER_08]: And you're an Olympic hopeful.
[00:30:13] [SPEAKER_05]: One day.
[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_05]: One day I can hope to get over that hurdle.
[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_05]: But with this gut, I don't know if I can
[00:30:17] [SPEAKER_05]: make it happen.
[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Look, if that pole, Walter, can do it,
[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_02]: you can do it.
[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_05]: With that junk?
[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely.
[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_06]: But also if Ray Gunn can be a
[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_06]: break dancer, you can do it.
[00:30:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Look, you can be an Olympic hopeful.
[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_02]: There's no form for it.
[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_05]: Ray Gunn taught me that.
[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely.
[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_05]: Then again, I look at the other side of it
[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_05]: and the memes.
[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if I want that side.
[00:30:39] Yeah.
[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_02]: At this point, I hope an archery.
[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_05]: The pole vaulting junk guy, you know,
[00:30:45] [SPEAKER_05]: missed it by seven inches.
[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_02]: But he said it was 10.
[00:30:52] [SPEAKER_06]: He's definitely a show or not a grower.
[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
[00:30:56] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.
[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_02]: We've had our Olympic folks
[00:31:01] [SPEAKER_08]: and a whole line.
[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_08]: Go back.
[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_08]: Well, that's you meant you kind of
[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_08]: back to the
[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_08]: raised over it, but it was
[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_08]: an hour and 45 minute presentation on eight different books.
[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_05]: That is correct.
[00:31:12] [SPEAKER_05]: Wow.
[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_05]: So again, bear in mind one of the things that
[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_05]: I see sound is going to be different.
[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_05]: And truly our intention is to,
[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_05]: to a degree to revolutionize the comic book industry
[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_05]: is bringing about that audio component to it where every
[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_05]: comic that we produce will have a QR code
[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_05]: in it that you will scan.
[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_05]: It will take you to the audio and it will be like you,
[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_05]: you get to read the comic and there are voice actors
[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_05]: that are acting it all out with sound effects with everything.
[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_05]: So, and Murphy's Inc.
[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_05]: This Ash can is what we're going to be debuting
[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_05]: to showcase that at Kaboom Khan.
[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_05]: So there's a little,
[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_05]: he said to one of some gossips.
[00:31:50] [SPEAKER_05]: There you go.
[00:31:50] [SPEAKER_05]: That's, that's your guys is exclusive.
[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_08]: I love it.
[00:31:53] [SPEAKER_08]: Got the hot goss.
[00:31:54] [SPEAKER_08]: Wait, what, what I've heard,
[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_08]: I've heard that term before.
[00:31:57] [SPEAKER_08]: Ash can addition.
[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_08]: What does that mean?
[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_05]: So an Ash can is a,
[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_05]: it's kind of an old school comic term.
[00:32:03] [SPEAKER_05]: It's like think of a teaser in the films.
[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_05]: Right?
[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_05]: It's basically here we're going to,
[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_05]: we're going to give you a taste of what we're working on.
[00:32:11] [SPEAKER_05]: You know, the Murphy's Inc.
[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_05]: Ash can as you, if you saw it,
[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_05]: it was in black and white.
[00:32:16] [SPEAKER_05]: It was,
[00:32:17] [SPEAKER_02]: you disappeared.
[00:32:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that was amazing.
[00:32:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Do it again.
[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_05]: So, so it was done in black and white.
[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_05]: We had the, you know, the color cover and, and,
[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_05]: so however here's a little bit,
[00:32:37] [SPEAKER_05]: another piece of hot goss for you.
[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_05]: The Mickey mouse Ash can will be 100% color wall to wall.
[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_05]: Except for of course, Mickey mini.
[00:32:46] [SPEAKER_08]: I was going to say there's one key factor that's not in color.
[00:32:49] [SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
[00:32:49] [SPEAKER_05]: They will be in black and white shades of gray.
[00:32:52] [SPEAKER_05]: Because you know, in order to use the character,
[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_05]: you have to keep it, you know,
[00:32:56] [SPEAKER_05]: a steamboat Willie Mickey.
[00:32:59] [SPEAKER_05]: But we're also doing something else that is a little bit different
[00:33:02] [SPEAKER_05]: in that with this Mickey mouse Ash can.
[00:33:05] [SPEAKER_05]: Who knows what a bleed is in print.
[00:33:07] [SPEAKER_08]: It's what goes outside the printable area.
[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_05]: The border.
[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_05]: So Mickey mouse Ash can is going all the way to the edge on all pages.
[00:33:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that's awesome.
[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_02]: I hadn't heard the term Ash can in like 20 years.
[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I was like, what's that?
[00:33:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Did he just say Ash can?
[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Nobody says that anymore.
[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_02]: It's always the origin of the.
[00:33:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Or it's the zero or it's the half episode or half issue or something.
[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry.
[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_07]: That term.
[00:33:32] [SPEAKER_07]: Why is that Ash can anyone?
[00:33:35] [SPEAKER_07]: I have an idea, but I don't think it's right.
[00:33:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I would say that it's because of the print that they used how
[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_02]: they, how they made it originally.
[00:33:43] [SPEAKER_02]: And so it made it look kind of ashy.
[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_02]: So it looked like.
[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_05]: I heard is that they, they ended up in the Ash can.
[00:33:51] [SPEAKER_05]: This was back in, you know,
[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_05]: the 40s, 50s is where the phrase kind of originated and, you know,
[00:33:57] [SPEAKER_05]: a lot of smokers back then and they usually they were smaller.
[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_05]: They were about a quarter of the size and they would, you know,
[00:34:04] [SPEAKER_05]: be let's say eight, 12 pages and, you know,
[00:34:07] [SPEAKER_05]: people would look at them cool and throw them in the ashram
[00:34:09] [SPEAKER_02]: or use them as, you know, to help start a fire or something.
[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_02]: That makes a lot of sense.
[00:34:15] [SPEAKER_02]: I just thought maybe it was something with the printing process.
[00:34:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Cause usually like a lot of it comes from that.
[00:34:20] [SPEAKER_05]: You're going to appreciate this.
[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_05]: I just made that up.
[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_02]: No, you did not.
[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_06]: Wow.
[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_06]: When you make things up with confidence, it seems like it's real.
[00:34:30] [SPEAKER_06]: I am an actor first and foremost.
[00:34:32] [SPEAKER_06]: I do have to put that out there.
[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_07]: So your improv skills are top notch then.
[00:34:36] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't normally get, I don't normally get God like for stuff
[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_02]: like that, cause I do that to you should do can a test
[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_02]: that I do that a lot.
[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I make really weird stuff up and you got me.
[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I have to say that.
[00:34:49] [SPEAKER_02]: So I'm just saying player recognizes player.
[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_06]: So I pulled it up and I got the term in regard to art.
[00:34:55] [SPEAKER_06]: The term Ashcan art was first used by artist art young in 1916
[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_06]: to describe a large group of painters,
[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_06]: including the Philadelphia five and others.
[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_06]: The Philadelphia five were Robert Henry.
[00:35:08] [SPEAKER_06]: This is the Ashcan schools origins.
[00:35:12] [SPEAKER_06]: No, I don't think this has.
[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_06]: I don't think this is in comic Ashcan comic meaning.
[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_06]: That's what I'm looking at now.
[00:35:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[00:35:18] [SPEAKER_06]: Ashcan comic origin.
[00:35:19] [SPEAKER_06]: There we go.
[00:35:19] [SPEAKER_06]: An Ashcan comic is a form of American comic book originally
[00:35:22] [SPEAKER_06]: originally created solely to establish trademarks on
[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_06]: potential titles and not intended for sale.
[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_06]: The practice was common in the 1930s and 1940s when the
[00:35:30] [SPEAKER_06]: comic book industry was in its infancy,
[00:35:32] [SPEAKER_06]: but was phased out after updates to us trademarks.
[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_06]: It doesn't say where the origin is why they call it
[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_06]: Ashcan.
[00:35:38] [SPEAKER_06]: Hey, I just want you to write when I said 1940s.
[00:35:40] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[00:35:41] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[00:35:41] [SPEAKER_06]: Right here.
[00:35:42] [SPEAKER_06]: The term was revived in the 1980s by Bob Burton,
[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_06]: who applied it to prototypes of his self published comic
[00:35:47] [SPEAKER_06]: books since the 1990s.
[00:35:48] [SPEAKER_06]: The terms have been used to describe our original use.
[00:35:50] [SPEAKER_06]: Here we go.
[00:35:52] [SPEAKER_06]: And then he went silent.
[00:35:54] [SPEAKER_06]: New etymology podcast.
[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_06]: Once the practice was established, you see comments used
[00:36:01] [SPEAKER_06]: Ash.
[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_06]: So it's saying, okay, right here at the time,
[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_06]: garbage cans were commonly called Ashcans because they
[00:36:07] [SPEAKER_06]: were used to hold ashes and sit from wooden coal
[00:36:10] [SPEAKER_06]: heating systems.
[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_06]: The term was revived in the 1980s by Bob Burton,
[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_06]: which was the term was applied to those editions of comics
[00:36:12] [SPEAKER_06]: because they had no value and were meant to be thrown away
[00:36:15] [SPEAKER_06]: after being accepted by the trademark office.
[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Some spare copies were given to editors,
[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_06]: employees and visitors to keep us souvenirs.
[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_06]: Changes to the United States trademark law in 1946
[00:36:24] [SPEAKER_06]: allowed publishers to register a trademark with
[00:36:26] [SPEAKER_06]: an intent to use instead of finishing a finished
[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_06]: product.
[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_06]: And the practice of creating and submitting Ashcans
[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_06]: was abandoned when publishers began to consider it
[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_06]: in any unnecessary effort.
[00:36:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Lawyers used to justify a fee.
[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, you were pretty damn close.
[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_06]: You were close.
[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you were.
[00:36:41] [SPEAKER_06]: Because of their rarity, Ashcans from this era
[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_06]: are desired by collectors and often fetch a high price.
[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, it was because they were meant to be thrown away.
[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Yep.
[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_02]: So it was like a prospectus,
[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_02]: but I'm not saying that right.
[00:36:54] [SPEAKER_07]: Perspective?
[00:36:55] [SPEAKER_02]: No, like how, like when a company is starting
[00:36:58] [SPEAKER_02]: and they're trying to get donors and stuff like that,
[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_02]: they'll do a, like a mission statement,
[00:37:04] [SPEAKER_02]: like just a summary of what the company is going to do.
[00:37:06] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's kind of like that.
[00:37:08] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like the comic book idea.
[00:37:09] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just kind of in the form it would be.
[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, okay.
[00:37:13] [SPEAKER_05]: I don't know how I got that close to being right.
[00:37:16] [SPEAKER_05]: That is,
[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I bet you read it somewhere at some point in your life
[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_02]: and it just popped right back into your head.
[00:37:22] [SPEAKER_02]: That's awesome.
[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_07]: Or you know enough about kind of the like orbiting topics
[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_07]: in a way and you just kind of made a healthy influence.
[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_07]: In inference.
[00:37:31] [SPEAKER_06]: So let's, let's jump back into this.
[00:37:33] [SPEAKER_06]: I call that.
[00:37:33] [SPEAKER_06]: Back thing.
[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_06]: So.
[00:37:35] [SPEAKER_06]: The theater.
[00:37:39] [SPEAKER_06]: Jumping back into this.
[00:37:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Have you ever seen Harley Quinn Mark?
[00:37:42] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to go off in a tangent.
[00:37:44] [SPEAKER_05]: Harley Quinn, the.
[00:37:47] [SPEAKER_02]: That animated series on HBO.
[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_05]: I have seen bits and pieces.
[00:37:52] [SPEAKER_05]: I've not watched any of it straight through.
[00:37:54] [SPEAKER_02]: So,
[00:37:54] [SPEAKER_02]: and do you know like Alan Tiddick plays Clay face?
[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_05]: I know I recognize the game, but haven't seen that.
[00:38:02] [SPEAKER_02]: And he's an actor and he says stuff like that.
[00:38:04] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm an actor.
[00:38:07] [SPEAKER_02]: He also plays Joker too, but I was playing their Clay face.
[00:38:10] [SPEAKER_02]: So I'm just saying like.
[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_05]: No one should play Joker except for Mark Hamill.
[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, actually Alan Tiddick's Joker in this is he it's the
[00:38:19] [SPEAKER_02]: perfect voice for how he plays Joker in this so I can.
[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_02]: It's more like old school Joker from like the 60s.
[00:38:27] [SPEAKER_02]: So, but not like that accent or anything, but it's that kind
[00:38:30] [SPEAKER_02]: of style.
[00:38:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Like it's more, you know, he very thin and you know, anyway,
[00:38:35] [SPEAKER_02]: he's really good in it.
[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_02]: And if you do get a chance, absolutely see that and then watch
[00:38:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Kite Man Hell.
[00:38:40] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, after that, because anyway, is there anything else you'd like
[00:38:43] [SPEAKER_07]: to talk about with?
[00:38:44] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, I was going to say specifically about Kaboom Khan.
[00:38:47] [SPEAKER_06]: Tell us about the guests.
[00:38:48] [SPEAKER_06]: What what what, you know, we've kind of kind of brushed
[00:38:51] [SPEAKER_06]: over some of the guests, but I know we have a bunch of
[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_06]: panels that are going to be going on.
[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_06]: We have guests that are going to be there.
[00:38:57] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, tell us tell us about kind of all of the
[00:39:01] [SPEAKER_06]: the hooks, you know what I mean?
[00:39:03] [SPEAKER_06]: Like the people that are going to be there, like all the fun
[00:39:06] [SPEAKER_06]: things that are going to be going on with Kaboom Khan.
[00:39:07] [SPEAKER_05]: Sure. Let's talk about the main stage, the big stage where
[00:39:10] [SPEAKER_05]: all of, you know, 550 seat movie theater.
[00:39:13] [SPEAKER_05]: It's actually a community theater.
[00:39:15] [SPEAKER_05]: So it's it's massive, full lighting, full sound.
[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_05]: We've got the Reno Video Game Symphony.
[00:39:20] [SPEAKER_05]: They're jazz ensemble.
[00:39:22] [SPEAKER_05]: I think it's 15 piece.
[00:39:23] [SPEAKER_05]: They're coming to open me to open the show, do a little
[00:39:26] [SPEAKER_05]: performance and then we're going to have the Chris
[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_05]: Moranen panel.
[00:39:30] [SPEAKER_05]: Awesome.
[00:39:30] [SPEAKER_05]: That'll be with moderated by Laurence Ariarte.
[00:39:34] [SPEAKER_05]: We'll do a little cosplay parade of costumes.
[00:39:38] [SPEAKER_05]: Then we've got the Brent Anderson panel again,
[00:39:41] [SPEAKER_05]: moderated by Laurence Ariarte.
[00:39:43] [SPEAKER_05]: We will have a live pop culture Kaboom broadcast that
[00:39:46] [SPEAKER_05]: will be happening.
[00:39:47] [SPEAKER_05]: And then of course the main event on the main stage
[00:39:49] [SPEAKER_05]: is the IC Sound Comics presentation.
[00:39:53] [SPEAKER_05]: Like I said, our 45 is what slated and then over in
[00:39:58] [SPEAKER_05]: the room, we've got a number of events in this room.
[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_05]: It's a little bit smaller.
[00:40:02] [SPEAKER_05]: It seats about 80.
[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_05]: We've got Dreamwell Comics hosting shop chatter with
[00:40:08] [SPEAKER_05]: Robert and Jimmy where they're going to be talking
[00:40:10] [SPEAKER_05]: collector versus investor.
[00:40:12] [SPEAKER_05]: Then we've got the distance nerding hosted film making
[00:40:16] [SPEAKER_05]: in Northern Nevada with horror dads productions and
[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_05]: the infamous rebel.
[00:40:20] [SPEAKER_08]: Very nice.
[00:40:22] [SPEAKER_05]: Then we've got distance nerding again hosting
[00:40:24] [SPEAKER_05]: Wolf's Bane in Bloom with authors Steven H.
[00:40:27] [SPEAKER_05]: Probo, Jade Griffin and MC Hunt.
[00:40:29] [SPEAKER_08]: Awesome.
[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_05]: Then we've got the 97 and now productions,
[00:40:32] [SPEAKER_05]: Cavalcade of Voice Actors.
[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_05]: That'll be moderated by James Devereux Lewis and a number
[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_05]: of the voice actors that we have in Murphy's Inc
[00:40:39] [SPEAKER_05]: and Oak Bridge and other properties we've worked on.
[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_05]: Awesome.
[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_05]: Then we've got Cosplaying on a Budget.
[00:40:44] [SPEAKER_05]: That'll be a presentation by Cosplay for Kindness.
[00:40:47] [SPEAKER_05]: And finally, life of an indie comic creator with
[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_05]: Jen Seven Comics, SYD Studio and Redwood Comics.
[00:40:55] [SPEAKER_05]: Again, moderated by Distance Nerding.
[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Those distance nerding people there everywhere.
[00:41:01] [SPEAKER_08]: That's the panel that Steven used.
[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_08]: Steven, you.
[00:41:05] [SPEAKER_08]: Yep.
[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_05]: Steven, you SYD Studio.
[00:41:08] [SPEAKER_05]: He's a great guy.
[00:41:09] [SPEAKER_05]: I didn't know him.
[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_05]: I met him at Silver Age and we actually went out
[00:41:13] [SPEAKER_05]: for drinks last week and he's helping Kaboom
[00:41:17] [SPEAKER_05]: get in the word out.
[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, great guy.
[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_05]: I'm excited.
[00:41:20] [SPEAKER_05]: He's such a love.
[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's a love.
[00:41:23] [SPEAKER_06]: Redwood Comics is also another friend of the show.
[00:41:26] [SPEAKER_06]: We met them through Darren Chibi from Veteran Comic Con
[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_06]: in San Francisco.
[00:41:32] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[00:41:33] [SPEAKER_05]: So we've got a lot going on.
[00:41:36] [SPEAKER_05]: You know, I can't thank people like you guys
[00:41:39] [SPEAKER_05]: and Lawrence and Diego and you know,
[00:41:41] [SPEAKER_05]: we went from my hope of trying to only having a,
[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_05]: you know, 10,000-ish square foot gym
[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_05]: and I wanted to get 20 vendors and 100 tickets
[00:41:51] [SPEAKER_05]: and I felt like that might be good enough to where now
[00:41:54] [SPEAKER_05]: we have the entire community center.
[00:41:56] [SPEAKER_05]: We have a game room that's hosted by the Academy
[00:41:59] [SPEAKER_05]: where there's going to be, you know, board games
[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_05]: and tabletop games, all that kind of fun stuff.
[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_05]: We've got the entire gym with about 55 vendors
[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_05]: in that area.
[00:42:07] [SPEAKER_05]: We've got the West Side parking lot.
[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_05]: West Side.
[00:42:10] [SPEAKER_05]: West Side.
[00:42:11] [SPEAKER_05]: West Side.
[00:42:11] [SPEAKER_05]: Another 29 vendors out there.
[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_05]: Food, beverage vendors, artists, everything.
[00:42:16] [SPEAKER_05]: Awesome.
[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_05]: We've got a number of nonprofits that we're supporting
[00:42:19] [SPEAKER_05]: through this.
[00:42:20] [SPEAKER_05]: We're going to be giving a portion of all the net proceeds
[00:42:23] [SPEAKER_05]: to KNVC 95.1 FM community radio,
[00:42:27] [SPEAKER_05]: as well as cold nose rescue and sanctuary.
[00:42:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Aw, good.
[00:42:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't have any of my dogs around,
[00:42:33] [SPEAKER_02]: but I have two corgis and a non-corgi
[00:42:36] [SPEAKER_02]: and they all say, aw.
[00:42:37] [SPEAKER_07]: I have a non-corgi somewhere behind me, so.
[00:42:40] [SPEAKER_07]: What is a non-corgi?
[00:42:41] [SPEAKER_07]: A dog that's not corgi.
[00:42:43] [SPEAKER_07]: Excuse me.
[00:42:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:42:44] [SPEAKER_02]: She's mixed race and we're not sure
[00:42:46] [SPEAKER_02]: what the races are.
[00:42:48] [SPEAKER_02]: So we're just, we call her a non-corgi.
[00:42:50] [SPEAKER_02]: So we think she thinks she's a corgi,
[00:42:53] [SPEAKER_02]: but that's her.
[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_02]: That's her.
[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_05]: I didn't realize that dogs had races.
[00:42:59] [SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Dog breeds, breeds.
[00:43:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, yes.
[00:43:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
[00:43:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:43:04] [SPEAKER_05]: I've heard of dog breeds.
[00:43:05] [SPEAKER_05]: Never dog races.
[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_05]: So this is good night for you.
[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_07]: That's a non-corgi.
[00:43:11] [SPEAKER_02]: This is actually normal for me.
[00:43:13] [SPEAKER_02]: They're used to it.
[00:43:14] [SPEAKER_02]: And so I just ran,
[00:43:15] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't have a filter.
[00:43:17] [SPEAKER_05]: I don't either.
[00:43:19] [SPEAKER_05]: I'm like restraining.
[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_05]: So there's no,
[00:43:22] [SPEAKER_02]: clearly you don't have to.
[00:43:24] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm here.
[00:43:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you're not going to get any crazier than I am.
[00:43:31] [SPEAKER_08]: Kaboom Khan,
[00:43:33] [SPEAKER_08]: September 7th,
[00:43:34] [SPEAKER_08]: Carson City.
[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_08]: It looks awesome.
[00:43:38] [SPEAKER_08]: But I mean,
[00:43:39] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't know how you do this because really you're here for
[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_08]: Kaboom Khan, right?
[00:43:43] [SPEAKER_08]: But then you're also here.
[00:43:44] [SPEAKER_08]: You're going to,
[00:43:45] [SPEAKER_08]: talk about Mickey Mouse and the fantastic worlds of steamboat
[00:43:49] [SPEAKER_08]: Willie.
[00:43:49] [SPEAKER_08]: And that's a project you got going on.
[00:43:51] [SPEAKER_08]: You also touched on Murphy's Inc.
[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_08]: That's another project that you have going on,
[00:43:57] [SPEAKER_08]: not to mention that 97 to now productions.
[00:44:00] [SPEAKER_08]: And then you speaking of,
[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_08]: you have another show.
[00:44:03] [SPEAKER_08]: I guess it's called the podcast, right?
[00:44:05] [SPEAKER_08]: It's series.
[00:44:06] [SPEAKER_08]: Oak Bridge.
[00:44:07] [SPEAKER_05]: Oak Bridge.
[00:44:09] [SPEAKER_05]: Oh my gosh.
[00:44:10] [SPEAKER_05]: How did I not talk about Oak Bridge that is about to
[00:44:13] [SPEAKER_05]: surpass 100,000 downloads
[00:44:14] [SPEAKER_05]: in less than 10 weeks?
[00:44:16] [SPEAKER_05]: Holy crap.
[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_05]: Congrats.
[00:44:19] [SPEAKER_05]: I talked about Oak Bridge a lot.
[00:44:22] [SPEAKER_05]: I had an interview earlier today with a local print
[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_05]: newspaper up here and I talked about Oak Bridge a lot.
[00:44:29] [SPEAKER_05]: And so maybe that's why I thought I already talked about it.
[00:44:30] [SPEAKER_05]: Yes, Oak Bridge.
[00:44:32] [SPEAKER_05]: Oh my gosh.
[00:44:33] [SPEAKER_05]: This,
[00:44:33] [SPEAKER_05]: one of the things we already recently announced is we're
[00:44:36] [SPEAKER_05]: going to take season one of Oak Bridge and basically create
[00:44:39] [SPEAKER_05]: an abridged version or a companion piece as a graphic
[00:44:42] [SPEAKER_05]: novel.
[00:44:42] [SPEAKER_05]: So we'll be showcasing a little bit of that hopefully at this
[00:44:46] [SPEAKER_05]: presentation, but yes Oak Bridge.
[00:44:48] [SPEAKER_05]: 10 episodes.
[00:44:49] [SPEAKER_05]: If you love the stranger things X files, twin peaks,
[00:44:52] [SPEAKER_05]: go give it a listen to great show directed all 10 episodes
[00:44:55] [SPEAKER_05]: by James Lewis creator.
[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_05]: Her name is Ashley Dean.
[00:44:59] [SPEAKER_05]: So female created minority directed.
[00:45:02] [SPEAKER_05]: He,
[00:45:04] [SPEAKER_05]: she is from Georgia.
[00:45:06] [SPEAKER_05]: Fantastic brilliant.
[00:45:08] [SPEAKER_05]: Give it a listen.
[00:45:09] [SPEAKER_05]: And then of course,
[00:45:09] [SPEAKER_05]: that and black connection Wednesday nights, 8pm Pacific on,
[00:45:13] [SPEAKER_05]: you know, all the everywhere like this YouTube.
[00:45:17] [SPEAKER_05]: If it is visual,
[00:45:19] [SPEAKER_07]: anywhere you get your podcast pretty much.
[00:45:22] [SPEAKER_05]: So I do a little bit and I work a full time job for the
[00:45:25] [SPEAKER_05]: state of Nevada.
[00:45:26] [SPEAKER_05]: So, you know,
[00:45:26] [SPEAKER_05]: there you go.
[00:45:27] [SPEAKER_06]: I don't get it.
[00:45:29] [SPEAKER_06]: How do you do it all?
[00:45:30] [SPEAKER_06]: It's the same way that we do it James.
[00:45:31] [SPEAKER_06]: I have no idea how we can do it.
[00:45:33] [SPEAKER_06]: But he's doing it better.
[00:45:34] [SPEAKER_06]: That's the point.
[00:45:35] [SPEAKER_06]: Mark is doing it a lot better than we are.
[00:45:38] [SPEAKER_06]: He's doing it.
[00:45:38] [SPEAKER_06]: He definitely is.
[00:45:39] [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, he got 10,000.
[00:45:41] [SPEAKER_06]: 10,000 hits in 10 weeks.
[00:45:44] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, dude,
[00:45:44] [SPEAKER_06]: we're not even 10000.
[00:45:46] [SPEAKER_06]: 100,000.
[00:45:47] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[00:45:49] [SPEAKER_06]: We have that zero.
[00:45:50] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[00:45:51] [SPEAKER_06]: A little bit feel even worse.
[00:45:53] [SPEAKER_05]: 100,000.
[00:45:55] [SPEAKER_05]: Who's counting?
[00:45:55] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's like super hot there.
[00:45:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Like it's hot and desert.
[00:46:00] [SPEAKER_01]: No, no.
[00:46:01] [SPEAKER_05]: It is a high desert technically.
[00:46:03] [SPEAKER_05]: But right now,
[00:46:04] [SPEAKER_05]: today I think it peaked in like the high 70s.
[00:46:07] [SPEAKER_05]: So it just depends.
[00:46:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I'm moving to Nevada.
[00:46:10] [SPEAKER_05]: Point is the wrong card.
[00:46:12] [SPEAKER_05]: Here's the biggest highlight of Nevada.
[00:46:14] [SPEAKER_05]: No income tax.
[00:46:16] [SPEAKER_05]: Come on.
[00:46:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's true.
[00:46:18] [SPEAKER_05]: I left California.
[00:46:19] [SPEAKER_05]: I'm a California born and raised,
[00:46:20] [SPEAKER_05]: Bairie guy.
[00:46:22] [SPEAKER_05]: I got the hell out of there in 2050.
[00:46:23] [SPEAKER_05]: It's not that different though.
[00:46:25] [SPEAKER_05]: You got out and I applauded you, sir.
[00:46:27] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm in Oklahoma.
[00:46:29] [SPEAKER_05]: That is, yes.
[00:46:30] [SPEAKER_05]: It's not Kansas.
[00:46:32] [SPEAKER_05]: I miss the weather and I miss the ocean.
[00:46:35] [SPEAKER_05]: But I've got like Tahoe.
[00:46:36] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you're good.
[00:46:38] [SPEAKER_07]: Tahoe up there.
[00:46:39] [SPEAKER_08]: That's enough.
[00:46:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Tahoe beautiful too.
[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's like, yeah.
[00:46:43] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm so excited for Kaboom con.
[00:46:45] [SPEAKER_08]: You've packed so much into,
[00:46:47] [SPEAKER_08]: I think it's all like from 10 a.m.
[00:46:49] [SPEAKER_08]: until 6 p.m.
[00:46:51] [SPEAKER_08]: But like every minute of this con has stuff going on.
[00:46:55] [SPEAKER_08]: Not to mention all the vendors you said,
[00:46:57] [SPEAKER_08]: all the artists that are going to be there.
[00:46:59] [SPEAKER_08]: This is great.
[00:47:00] [SPEAKER_08]: It's like so much con in like one day.
[00:47:02] [SPEAKER_08]: That's awesome.
[00:47:03] [SPEAKER_05]: I only had the one day to work with.
[00:47:05] [SPEAKER_05]: So again,
[00:47:06] [SPEAKER_05]: the community's response was frankly overwhelming to the point
[00:47:09] [SPEAKER_05]: where I'm already thinking about year two and what that's going
[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_05]: to look like, you know,
[00:47:15] [SPEAKER_05]: doubling in size probably around.
[00:47:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:47:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
[00:47:18] [SPEAKER_02]: That's going to be, that's great.
[00:47:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's what you want.
[00:47:21] [SPEAKER_02]: You want it to double after that first year.
[00:47:24] [SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I worked,
[00:47:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I worked San Diego Comic Con like a long time ago,
[00:47:29] [SPEAKER_02]: but I worked that for like,
[00:47:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, four years.
[00:47:34] [SPEAKER_02]: So and it's crazy and saying how much stuff you have to like keep track of.
[00:47:38] [SPEAKER_05]: And the hard part for me is I am,
[00:47:42] [SPEAKER_05]: you know, I've got my business partner,
[00:47:43] [SPEAKER_05]: but he's in Vegas.
[00:47:44] [SPEAKER_05]: I'm up here.
[00:47:46] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[00:47:46] [SPEAKER_05]: I don't want to say I'm a one man show,
[00:47:48] [SPEAKER_05]: but to a degree for this con, it kind of is.
[00:47:51] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[00:47:51] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, you've done a hell of a job for one man.
[00:47:54] [SPEAKER_06]: You have done an amazing job, man.
[00:47:56] [SPEAKER_06]: So one more time, September 7th at Carson City,
[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_06]: Kaboom Khan ladies and gentlemen,
[00:48:00] [SPEAKER_06]: make your way there, make sure you are there.
[00:48:03] [SPEAKER_06]: Mark, we want to thank you for coming on the show
[00:48:06] [SPEAKER_06]: and talking Kaboom Khan, man.
[00:48:07] [SPEAKER_06]: We appreciate you here.
[00:48:09] [SPEAKER_05]: I appreciate you guys having me.
[00:48:10] [SPEAKER_05]: It was amazing meeting you, man.
[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Nice to meet you, Mark.
[00:48:13] [SPEAKER_08]: Absolutely.
[00:48:14] [SPEAKER_08]: We'll catch up again.
[00:48:15] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, Mark.
[00:48:15] [SPEAKER_08]: Well, you have a great night, man.
[00:48:16] [SPEAKER_08]: Thanks, Mark.
[00:48:18] Catch ya.
[00:48:20] [SPEAKER_02]: My last show already.
[00:48:22] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm scared.
[00:48:22] [SPEAKER_02]: All right, no.
[00:48:23] [SPEAKER_06]: I already named the episode.
[00:48:25] [SPEAKER_06]: The episode is Jen's How to Dig a Hole.
[00:48:27] Yeah, that's true.
[00:48:29] [SPEAKER_06]: Ladies and gentlemen, he snuck in,
[00:48:31] [SPEAKER_06]: but Agent Double A has made his way back to the show.
[00:48:35] [SPEAKER_06]: Woo!
[00:48:37] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, look who it is.
[00:48:38] [SPEAKER_06]: Look at that shirt.
[00:48:39] [SPEAKER_06]: I was just going to say, and like Chavez.
[00:48:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Where did this nerding merch?
[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_03]: No, I got some on sale.
[00:48:44] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't worry about it.
[00:48:45] [SPEAKER_06]: I was just going to say, and like Chavez likes
[00:48:47] [SPEAKER_06]: because he loves it when somebody wears
[00:48:49] [SPEAKER_06]: disinterting merch.
[00:48:51] [SPEAKER_06]: Agent Double A is wearing a classic D-end shirt.
[00:48:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I just have to say that I'm wearing Sesame Street
[00:48:56] [SPEAKER_02]: and I'm behaving the way I am.
[00:48:59] [SPEAKER_06]: And Memorial La Plue.
[00:49:01] [SPEAKER_06]: Exactly.
[00:49:01] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, ladies and gentlemen...
[00:49:02] [SPEAKER_08]: I didn't know Mark was coming on.
[00:49:03] [SPEAKER_08]: That was awesome.
[00:49:04] [SPEAKER_06]: I've been telling you for like the whole week
[00:49:06] [SPEAKER_06]: that he was going to be on.
[00:49:07] [SPEAKER_06]: No, you haven't.
[00:49:08] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you can go back and check the messages.
[00:49:09] [SPEAKER_06]: All right, well, ladies and gentlemen...
[00:49:11] [SPEAKER_06]: All right, so now we finish the interview.
[00:49:12] [SPEAKER_07]: It's time for the bracket?
[00:49:14] [SPEAKER_06]: No.
[00:49:16] [SPEAKER_06]: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time
[00:49:19] [SPEAKER_06]: to move on for some starting rumors
[00:49:21] [SPEAKER_06]: if this thing will work.
[00:49:23] [SPEAKER_06]: I don't...
[00:49:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Why do you always fade out at the best part?
[00:49:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Because we don't have enough time.
[00:49:46] [SPEAKER_03]: See? Told you.
[00:49:48] [SPEAKER_07]: We're going to speedrun this, people.
[00:49:49] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, well, let's get to this.
[00:49:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not sure if we're going to get there.
[00:49:51] [SPEAKER_02]: But is it still the ship of Theseus?
[00:49:54] [SPEAKER_07]: Maybe.
[00:49:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Last week, it was reported that James Spader
[00:49:58] [SPEAKER_02]: will reprise his role of Ultron
[00:50:01] [SPEAKER_02]: in Marvel's upcoming WandaVision spinoff series
[00:50:05] [SPEAKER_02]: that will focus on vision.
[00:50:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Now,
[00:50:08] [SPEAKER_02]: yeah.
[00:50:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Now,
[00:50:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Deadline is reporting that Elizabeth Olsen
[00:50:11] [SPEAKER_02]: or Lizzie may also appear in the series,
[00:50:14] [SPEAKER_02]: but she's not who you think.
[00:50:16] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
[00:50:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Olsen is not playing Wanda in the series.
[00:50:20] [SPEAKER_02]: What?
[00:50:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, instead of playing Scarlet Witch,
[00:50:23] [SPEAKER_02]: who may or may not have died
[00:50:25] [SPEAKER_02]: in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness?
[00:50:29] [SPEAKER_02]: She may actually be playing the character
[00:50:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Virginia Vision instead.
[00:50:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh.
[00:50:34] [SPEAKER_02]: So I've got from Mama Witch to Synthesoid Bad Bitch.
[00:50:39] [SPEAKER_02]: It is not a synopsis.
[00:50:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I just wanted to say that.
[00:50:42] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm still going to say it.
[00:50:43] [SPEAKER_06]: Virginia...
[00:50:43] [SPEAKER_06]: From Mama Witch to Synthesoid Bad Bitch.
[00:50:46] [SPEAKER_06]: Synopsis.
[00:50:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Virginia Vision,
[00:50:52] [SPEAKER_02]: aka V,
[00:50:55] [SPEAKER_02]: was introduced in Tom King's critically acclaimed
[00:50:58] [SPEAKER_02]: 2016 Vision series.
[00:51:01] [SPEAKER_02]: That's when he had like the whole Synthesoid family, you know?
[00:51:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:51:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, she's a Synthesoid created by Vision
[00:51:07] [SPEAKER_02]: as part of his attempt to lead
[00:51:09] [SPEAKER_02]: a normal family life in the suburbs.
[00:51:13] [SPEAKER_02]: So do...
[00:51:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Tacos on the table.
[00:51:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Is this the Wanda Vision reunion we've been waiting for?
[00:51:19] [SPEAKER_07]: Wait, is this just the reverse Wanda Vision?
[00:51:21] [SPEAKER_07]: It is.
[00:51:22] [SPEAKER_07]: I think that's what it is.
[00:51:23] [SPEAKER_02]: It's Vision Wanda.
[00:51:24] [SPEAKER_07]: That's what I'm saying.
[00:51:25] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's Vision Wanda.
[00:51:27] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, she do are your Tacos on the table, sir.
[00:51:31] [SPEAKER_07]: My...
[00:51:32] [SPEAKER_07]: They're like the Dorito Tacos,
[00:51:34] [SPEAKER_07]: so they're red,
[00:51:35] [SPEAKER_07]: but there's like little black burnt portions on them.
[00:51:41] [SPEAKER_07]: And they're really trying to find a couple of quesadillas
[00:51:44] [SPEAKER_07]: that they may or may not have had at one point.
[00:51:46] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh my God, let's see what he did there.
[00:51:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Agent AA, are your Tacos on the table?
[00:51:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Mine are always on the table,
[00:51:52] [SPEAKER_03]: even if I don't believe it or not.
[00:51:54] [SPEAKER_03]: I like Tacos, so...
[00:51:57] [SPEAKER_03]: That's fair.
[00:51:58] [SPEAKER_07]: That's fair.
[00:51:59] [SPEAKER_08]: What's up, AA, by the way?
[00:52:01] [SPEAKER_08]: Nice to meet you.
[00:52:02] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:52:02] [SPEAKER_08]: The hair is looking very nice.
[00:52:04] [SPEAKER_08]: I love the...
[00:52:05] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:52:05] [SPEAKER_08]: I see you chopping my hair.
[00:52:07] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's the Sausage Pepper Twins.
[00:52:09] [SPEAKER_06]: Look at them.
[00:52:10] [SPEAKER_03]: That's weird.
[00:52:11] [SPEAKER_03]: It is.
[00:52:12] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like looking in a mirror.
[00:52:13] [SPEAKER_03]: To reference Infinity War,
[00:52:15] [SPEAKER_03]: when he says I see you copied my beer,
[00:52:16] [SPEAKER_03]: I see you copied my hair.
[00:52:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:52:19] [SPEAKER_03]: I gotcha.
[00:52:20] [SPEAKER_03]: We're living that zaddy lifestyle.
[00:52:22] [SPEAKER_08]: Exactly.
[00:52:23] [SPEAKER_07]: You don't hate...
[00:52:23] [SPEAKER_07]: If Pedro Viscola needs to stand in, there we go.
[00:52:27] [SPEAKER_08]: Yes, exactly.
[00:52:28] [SPEAKER_06]: Not wrong.
[00:52:29] [SPEAKER_06]: Johnna, is Tacos on the table?
[00:52:31] [SPEAKER_08]: My Tacos are on the table on this.
[00:52:33] [SPEAKER_08]: I think they're going to pull a switcheroo.
[00:52:36] [SPEAKER_08]: They're going to use Elizabeth Olsen's name
[00:52:38] [SPEAKER_08]: to get the show going.
[00:52:40] [SPEAKER_08]: But I think them using the Tom King story
[00:52:45] [SPEAKER_08]: and she being Virginia Vision is a way to get her back in,
[00:52:50] [SPEAKER_08]: but not get Scarlet Witch back in.
[00:52:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Right.
[00:52:52] [SPEAKER_08]: So we'll see.
[00:52:53] [SPEAKER_07]: Or they're just going to do House of Vision...
[00:52:58] [SPEAKER_07]: Vision...
[00:52:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Vision Quest.
[00:53:00] [SPEAKER_06]: It's Vision Quest.
[00:53:01] [SPEAKER_06]: They already said that it's going to be
[00:53:02] [SPEAKER_06]: House of Vision Quest,
[00:53:03] [SPEAKER_06]: which makes the most sense.
[00:53:04] [SPEAKER_08]: Frey, where are your Tacos?
[00:53:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so, well, no, my Tacos are on the table.
[00:53:09] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, any more Elizabeth Olsen I'm there for.
[00:53:13] [SPEAKER_02]: She has done an amazing job with Scarlet Witch.
[00:53:16] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure she'll be there.
[00:53:17] [SPEAKER_02]: But here's my pitch.
[00:53:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Here's what I think is happening.
[00:53:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I think that this is Vision's like synapses coming back
[00:53:27] [SPEAKER_02]: and so he's hallucinating all of this.
[00:53:29] [SPEAKER_02]: And the reason that Virginia Vision's voice
[00:53:34] [SPEAKER_02]: is Elizabeth Olsen is because Scarlet Witch is trying to
[00:53:38] [SPEAKER_02]: communicate with him to bring him back into reality.
[00:53:43] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, I kind of like that.
[00:53:45] [SPEAKER_08]: I like it.
[00:53:46] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:53:47] [SPEAKER_02]: So I'm just saying like if I were going to do something
[00:53:49] [SPEAKER_02]: like that and Elizabeth Olsen was going to be involved in
[00:53:52] [SPEAKER_02]: that and it was about, you know,
[00:53:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Vision's version of a normal family because we saw
[00:53:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Wanda's version.
[00:53:58] [SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, this would be Vision.
[00:53:59] [SPEAKER_02]: So maybe it's Wanda Vision,
[00:54:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Vision's version.
[00:54:03] [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, so like I could absolutely see them adapting it
[00:54:07] [SPEAKER_02]: like that.
[00:54:08] [SPEAKER_02]: But then having her be the one that's like no,
[00:54:10] [SPEAKER_02]: come back to me, come back to me.
[00:54:11] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, she's trying to get him to come back.
[00:54:13] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's pretty cool.
[00:54:15] [SPEAKER_07]: So what do you think?
[00:54:17] [SPEAKER_06]: My tacos are definitely on the table just because
[00:54:20] [SPEAKER_06]: it makes a lot of sense as far as storylines go.
[00:54:24] [SPEAKER_06]: It's something that he did in the comics.
[00:54:26] [SPEAKER_06]: So I mean like creating his perfect wife,
[00:54:29] [SPEAKER_06]: which he probably already believed that Wanda was his
[00:54:32] [SPEAKER_06]: perfect wife, but he can't have Wanda again.
[00:54:34] [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, he may or may not know that she's dead.
[00:54:36] [SPEAKER_06]: So the whole thing is he just needs Wanda again.
[00:54:38] [SPEAKER_06]: So he's going to create a synthesized version of her in
[00:54:41] [SPEAKER_06]: order to have her the way that Wanda created a
[00:54:44] [SPEAKER_06]: reverse Wanda.
[00:54:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Right.
[00:54:46] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[00:54:46] [SPEAKER_06]: So my tacos are definitely on the table for this.
[00:54:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Awesome.
[00:54:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Yay.
[00:54:51] [SPEAKER_06]: Let's go ahead and move on to the next story here guys.
[00:54:53] [SPEAKER_06]: My,
[00:54:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Should I say Ole?
[00:54:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Ole.
[00:54:56] [SPEAKER_07]: I think my rumors sense is tingling.
[00:54:59] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh.
[00:55:00] [SPEAKER_07]: That's weird.
[00:55:02] [SPEAKER_07]: According to the rumors,
[00:55:04] [SPEAKER_07]: Spider-Man 4 production is scheduled to get underway
[00:55:06] [SPEAKER_07]: next year and the movie should swing into theaters
[00:55:09] [SPEAKER_07]: in July of 2026 between Avengers
[00:55:13] [SPEAKER_07]: Tuesday and Avengers Super 4.
[00:55:17] [SPEAKER_07]: This is a good indication that Spider-Man 4 will be
[00:55:19] [SPEAKER_07]: yet another multi-works move.
[00:55:21] [SPEAKER_07]: So tacos on the table is Spidey 4 going into the
[00:55:24] [SPEAKER_07]: MCU verse.
[00:55:26] [SPEAKER_08]: Hmm.
[00:55:26] [SPEAKER_08]: Interesting.
[00:55:27] [SPEAKER_08]: Well, there was that rumor from like two or three weeks
[00:55:29] [SPEAKER_08]: ago that anything,
[00:55:32] [SPEAKER_08]: any movie,
[00:55:33] [SPEAKER_08]: any piece of MCU that comes out in between
[00:55:36] [SPEAKER_08]: Avengers,
[00:55:37] [SPEAKER_08]: Doomsday and Avengers Secret Wars will take place
[00:55:40] [SPEAKER_08]: on battle within this battle world-ish type thing.
[00:55:44] [SPEAKER_08]: Of them mish bashing things.
[00:55:46] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't know where your tacos y'all.
[00:55:48] [SPEAKER_02]: My tacos are on the table.
[00:55:49] [SPEAKER_02]: I think they're going to do it.
[00:55:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I think they're running out of time with Tom Holland.
[00:55:53] [SPEAKER_02]: So if they're going to make another one with
[00:55:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Tom Holland, they need to do it now.
[00:55:57] [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't even think about that.
[00:55:59] [SPEAKER_03]: You're right.
[00:56:00] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, Tom Holland's not going to play Spider-Man forever.
[00:56:02] [SPEAKER_03]: So if they're going to do one, they need to do it soon.
[00:56:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, absolutely.
[00:56:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he's not that he's aging out,
[00:56:07] [SPEAKER_02]: but he's kind of aging out.
[00:56:09] [SPEAKER_02]: He is.
[00:56:10] [SPEAKER_08]: Old ass Spider-Man.
[00:56:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, you can only like stretch being like a young,
[00:56:17] [SPEAKER_02]: like an older teen, young 20 something for so long.
[00:56:21] [SPEAKER_02]: So and he doesn't,
[00:56:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure he won't want to play that forever.
[00:56:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Look what happened to Leo.
[00:56:28] [SPEAKER_07]: My, uh, it's the,
[00:56:30] [SPEAKER_07]: the tortilla is like kind of a, like a,
[00:56:32] [SPEAKER_07]: like a red bell pepper tortilla.
[00:56:34] [SPEAKER_07]: It's really sticky too.
[00:56:35] [SPEAKER_07]: It's very, very sticky.
[00:56:37] [SPEAKER_07]: There's a lot of sour cream coming out of it, things like that.
[00:56:40] [SPEAKER_03]: What? Where are you getting this?
[00:56:42] [SPEAKER_03]: It's really red and a lot of sour cream.
[00:56:45] [SPEAKER_03]: I feel like that's a doctor's appointment if you know that.
[00:56:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Right. I don't even want,
[00:56:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I, I, I, these tacos are so unappetizing.
[00:56:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I want you to remove them from the table and throw them away immediately.
[00:56:57] [SPEAKER_06]: Exactly.
[00:56:58] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't think these tacos are legal in the state.
[00:57:03] [SPEAKER_02]: In a civilized world.
[00:57:05] [SPEAKER_07]: They're legal in 49 out of 50 states.
[00:57:11] [SPEAKER_07]: Only in Alabama already legal.
[00:57:13] [SPEAKER_07]: Yes. Only.
[00:57:14] [SPEAKER_07]: Well, no, no, no, they're legal in 49 out of 50.
[00:57:17] [SPEAKER_07]: The one that it's not legal on is of course, Nevada.
[00:57:22] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[00:57:22] [SPEAKER_04]: All right. Okay.
[00:57:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's continue on here.
[00:57:26] [SPEAKER_06]: Let's move on.
[00:57:28] [SPEAKER_06]: Agent double A are your tacos.
[00:57:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. Well, what was, what was the rumor?
[00:57:35] [SPEAKER_06]: That, that Spider-Man is getting another film in between the
[00:57:39] [SPEAKER_06]: doomsday.
[00:57:41] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[00:57:42] [SPEAKER_06]: It's right now.
[00:57:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:57:46] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, again, they're going to need to do it quick.
[00:57:48] [SPEAKER_03]: And if you're going to,
[00:57:48] [SPEAKER_07]: Anyway, my, my disgusting tacos that are only legal in Nevada
[00:57:53] [SPEAKER_07]: or on the table.
[00:57:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:57:55] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not allowed to eat taco bell anymore.
[00:57:57] [SPEAKER_03]: So that's probably for the best.
[00:58:00] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to go with my homemade carnitas tacos are on the
[00:58:04] [SPEAKER_03]: table.
[00:58:05] [SPEAKER_03]: That's good.
[00:58:05] [SPEAKER_03]: That's good.
[00:58:06] [SPEAKER_03]: All right.
[00:58:06] [SPEAKER_06]: I dig it.
[00:58:07] [SPEAKER_06]: My tacos are on the table.
[00:58:09] [SPEAKER_06]: I also think that this is going to be the moment where we get
[00:58:12] [SPEAKER_06]: the Black Suit Spider-Man in the MCU, mainly because Black
[00:58:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Suit Spider-Man appeared in secret wars in the comics.
[00:58:20] [SPEAKER_06]: Yes, he did.
[00:58:21] [SPEAKER_06]: So this would be a good chance for them to, for them to bring
[00:58:26] [SPEAKER_06]: in the Black Suit Spider-Man, which do something right for
[00:58:28] [SPEAKER_02]: it. I mean,
[00:58:29] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, I mean, that's exactly where I was going is that,
[00:58:31] [SPEAKER_06]: you know, we can finally rectify and get a decent venom
[00:58:36] [SPEAKER_06]: because as fun as the venom movies are there, they're not
[00:58:39] [SPEAKER_06]: at the same time.
[00:58:40] [SPEAKER_06]: So yeah.
[00:58:42] [SPEAKER_07]: And as long as he doesn't do a very, very cringy dance at
[00:58:47] [SPEAKER_07]: some point, it's going to be better.
[00:58:48] [SPEAKER_06]: So Mad Jamez, tacos on the table.
[00:58:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, my tacos are on the table.
[00:58:53] [SPEAKER_08]: And you know, part of this is I know Sony execs really want
[00:58:56] [SPEAKER_08]: them to bring Andrew Garfield and Toby McGuire back and
[00:59:00] [SPEAKER_08]: kind of shoehorning this in between the Avengers movies
[00:59:04] [SPEAKER_08]: and making it some sort of weird multiversal spider
[00:59:08] [SPEAKER_08]: thing.
[00:59:09] [SPEAKER_08]: Is it easy to bring them back?
[00:59:11] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I think it'll, I think it's going to happen.
[00:59:14] [SPEAKER_08]: I think it's going to happen.
[00:59:15] [SPEAKER_02]: And of course, they're going to have to have a like cameo
[00:59:18] [SPEAKER_02]: or something from RDJ being doomed, which is really going
[00:59:22] [SPEAKER_02]: to freak him out.
[00:59:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:59:25] [SPEAKER_06]: Jen, did you put your tacos on the table?
[00:59:26] [SPEAKER_06]: Yep.
[00:59:26] [SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[00:59:26] [SPEAKER_06]: Just wanted to make sure.
[00:59:27] [SPEAKER_06]: So did I?
[00:59:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I think I did.
[00:59:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:59:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
[00:59:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I did.
[00:59:30] [SPEAKER_06]: She's like, we're going to say I did.
[00:59:31] [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
[00:59:32] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, ladies and gentlemen, that is it for the
[00:59:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Let's jump into this guys.
[00:59:37] [SPEAKER_06]: It is now time for the download.
[00:59:48] [SPEAKER_07]: Take it away should do.
[00:59:49] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[00:59:50] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[00:59:50] [SPEAKER_06]: Apparently I'm apparently I'm doing this one.
[00:59:53] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[00:59:53] [SPEAKER_06]: And John, John Mez for some reason forgets that he has a
[00:59:55] [SPEAKER_06]: line right here.
[00:59:56] [SPEAKER_06]: So for more news trailers,
[00:59:58] [SPEAKER_06]: check out distance nerding on the dis-desertings and post.
[01:00:01] [SPEAKER_06]: Let us know what you're nerding out on because all
[01:00:03] [SPEAKER_06]: the things are going to be there.
[01:00:05] [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
[01:00:05] [SPEAKER_07]: And take it away.
[01:00:07] [SPEAKER_07]: And again, apparently I'm doing this story.
[01:00:10] [SPEAKER_07]: This one is for say,
[01:00:12] [SPEAKER_07]: long cool.
[01:00:13] [SPEAKER_07]: My homeboy.
[01:00:15] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, it was just current boyfriend Travis
[01:00:16] [SPEAKER_07]: Kelsey is going to make his big break in Hollywood with
[01:00:19] [SPEAKER_07]: a new action comedy that he set to start for

[01:00:24] [SPEAKER_07]: Kelsey's feature film debut,
[01:00:26] [SPEAKER_07]: but he's also set to appear in the Ryan Murphy
[01:00:29] [SPEAKER_07]: series grow test curry.
[01:00:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[01:00:31] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
[01:00:32] [SPEAKER_07]: Great.
[01:00:32] [SPEAKER_07]: With premieres on FX on September 25th.
[01:00:36] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, and he plays football.
[01:00:38] [SPEAKER_07]: Maybe the greatest title of all time.
[01:00:39] [SPEAKER_07]: I have no idea what that means.
[01:00:41] [SPEAKER_08]: FYI, the rate is no one.
[01:00:45] [SPEAKER_08]: Last team.
[01:00:46] [SPEAKER_08]: No one cares.
[01:00:47] [SPEAKER_08]: Superbowl champion.
[01:00:48] [SPEAKER_08]: Chiefs.
[01:00:49] [SPEAKER_08]: No one cares.
[01:00:50] [SPEAKER_08]: And to lead the feet of San Francisco 49ers.
[01:00:52] [SPEAKER_08]: I could care less.
[01:00:53] [SPEAKER_08]: To a meter or 44 yards.
[01:00:57] [SPEAKER_08]: Especially football though.
[01:00:58] [SPEAKER_06]: This is just John.
[01:01:01] [SPEAKER_06]: Matt is trying to shoehorn a writer joking here and
[01:01:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't understand why they call it football.
[01:01:05] [SPEAKER_02]: It's the only person that touches the ball with its
[01:01:07] [SPEAKER_02]: feet as the kicker.
[01:01:08] [SPEAKER_06]: Kicker.
[01:01:10] [SPEAKER_06]: But yes, no one.
[01:01:11] [SPEAKER_06]: No one cares at all about whether Kansas City lost to
[01:01:16] [SPEAKER_06]: the Raiders or anything like that.
[01:01:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Did you guys know that paprika was just ground up
[01:01:20] [SPEAKER_02]: bell peppers?
[01:01:21] [SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
[01:01:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I had no idea about that until yesterday.
[01:01:24] [SPEAKER_02]: I am shook.
[01:01:25] [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
[01:01:25] [SPEAKER_06]: Well tangent aside.
[01:01:27] [SPEAKER_06]: Let's move on here.
[01:01:29] [SPEAKER_06]: In Francis fail Coppola news.
[01:01:32] [SPEAKER_06]: That's that's a line.
[01:01:33] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm a little bit of a fan.
[01:01:33] [SPEAKER_06]: But I'm not a fan.
[01:01:34] [SPEAKER_06]: Uh, Linesgate has pulled the trailer for Francis Ford
[01:01:37] [SPEAKER_06]: Coppola's new film.
[01:01:38] [SPEAKER_06]: Megalopolis.
[01:01:39] [SPEAKER_06]: It was revealed that a lot of the quotes bashing
[01:01:41] [SPEAKER_06]: the film were fabricated.
[01:01:43] [SPEAKER_06]: The quotes featured in the Megalopolis trailer
[01:01:45] [SPEAKER_06]: included previous criticisms of Coppola's new
[01:01:48] [SPEAKER_06]: iconic works such as the Godfather and
[01:01:50] [SPEAKER_06]: Apocalypse Now there was a bit of a controversy
[01:01:53] [SPEAKER_06]: over the fake critic quotes and Linesgate
[01:01:55] [SPEAKER_06]: released the following statement apologizing
[01:01:58] [SPEAKER_06]: for screwing up.
[01:02:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Linesgate is immediately recalling our trailer
[01:02:02] [SPEAKER_06]: for Megalopolis.
[01:02:03] [SPEAKER_06]: We offer our sincere apologies for the critics
[01:02:05] [SPEAKER_06]: involved and to Francis Ford Coppola and American
[01:02:09] [SPEAKER_06]: American zeotrope for the inexcusable error in
[01:02:12] [SPEAKER_06]: our vetting process.
[01:02:13] [SPEAKER_06]: We screwed up.
[01:02:14] [SPEAKER_06]: We are sorry.
[01:02:15] [SPEAKER_02]: And we've killed the offender.
[01:02:16] [SPEAKER_02]: What?
[01:02:17] [SPEAKER_06]: We have killed the offender.
[01:02:19] [SPEAKER_06]: We've sacked the offender and we've brought
[01:02:21] [SPEAKER_06]: somebody new on.
[01:02:22] [SPEAKER_06]: We're sorry.
[01:02:23] [SPEAKER_06]: No, what does Larry say?
[01:02:24] [SPEAKER_02]: What does Larry say to Allison?
[01:02:26] [SPEAKER_02]: They no longer breathe our air.
[01:02:28] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
[01:02:29] [SPEAKER_06]: I was making a Monty Python joke.
[01:02:32] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I'm sorry.
[01:02:34] [SPEAKER_02]: I went eyebrow.
[01:02:35] [SPEAKER_02]: You went low brow.
[01:02:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Cool.
[01:02:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Yep.
[01:02:37] [SPEAKER_06]: Linesgate will release the movie on September
[01:02:39] [SPEAKER_06]: 27th, 2024.
[01:02:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Real quick.
[01:02:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Go back real quick, Phil and do me a favor.
[01:02:44] [SPEAKER_03]: You said fake critic quotes.
[01:02:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Can you say that five times fast?
[01:02:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Fake critic quotes, fake critic quotes, fake
[01:02:48] [SPEAKER_06]: critic quotes, fake critic quotes, fake critic quotes.
[01:02:50] [SPEAKER_06]: Cool.
[01:02:51] All right.
[01:02:53] [SPEAKER_06]: Let's go ahead and move on here, guys.
[01:02:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[01:02:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[01:02:56] [SPEAKER_02]: So the picture is not from any movie that anybody has been in
[01:03:01] [SPEAKER_02]: that's listed on here.
[01:03:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I just want you to know that, but I really love his glasses.
[01:03:06] [SPEAKER_02]: So Tom Cruise and that's not Tom Cruise is currently
[01:03:09] [SPEAKER_02]: developing a mystery movie at Warner Brothers and a bunch of
[01:03:13] [SPEAKER_02]: new cast members have been added to the film.
[01:03:16] [SPEAKER_02]: The cast includes John Goodman.
[01:03:18] [SPEAKER_02]: That's not John Goodman.
[01:03:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Jesse Plymouth.
[01:03:21] [SPEAKER_02]: That's Jesse Plymouth.
[01:03:22] [SPEAKER_06]: A young John Goodman though.
[01:03:24] [SPEAKER_06]: He could play a young John Goodman.
[01:03:27] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that was like Matt Damon.
[01:03:30] [SPEAKER_02]: He does have that kind of he's much taller than Matt Damon.
[01:03:34] [SPEAKER_06]: When he was doing the Gillette commercials, you guys remember?
[01:03:37] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh yeah, that was a long time ago.
[01:03:39] [SPEAKER_06]: Skinny.
[01:03:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, skinny, skinny Johnny.
[01:03:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Sandra Huler, Huler, Huler, Huler, Huler, Huler,
[01:03:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Michael.
[01:03:48] [SPEAKER_03]: The cast that lighted last night at a 31th.
[01:03:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Strollbarg and Sophie Wilde.
[01:03:53] [SPEAKER_02]: The film will reportedly center on the most powerful man in the
[01:03:56] [SPEAKER_02]: world who embarks on a frantic mission to prove he is
[01:03:59] [SPEAKER_02]: humanity's savior before the disaster he's unleashed destroys
[01:04:03] [SPEAKER_02]: everything.
[01:04:04] [SPEAKER_02]: So basically what he thinks he is in Scientology.
[01:04:08] [SPEAKER_02]: This will be the first film project for Tom Cruise at WB.
[01:04:12] [SPEAKER_07]: So he's playing Superman.
[01:04:14] [SPEAKER_02]: No, he's playing Tom Cruise.
[01:04:16] [SPEAKER_02]: The God of Scientology.
[01:04:20] [SPEAKER_06]: Why is she do wearing red glasses?
[01:04:27] [SPEAKER_06]: High level theme.
[01:04:28] [SPEAKER_06]: High level theme.
[01:04:31] [SPEAKER_06]: All right, well let's move on to the next story here.
[01:04:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I know what she's going to be for Halloween.
[01:04:35] [SPEAKER_02]: On your Taylor joy.
[01:04:38] [SPEAKER_08]: On to some Netflix killer family news.
[01:04:41] [SPEAKER_08]: The series on your Taylor joy from the Queens Gambit and

[01:04:51] [SPEAKER_08]: kill your family.

[01:04:54] [SPEAKER_08]: The series will consist of eight episodes.
[01:04:57] [SPEAKER_08]: Taylor joy will take on the role of murderous character
[01:05:00] [SPEAKER_08]: Grace Bernard who has a complicated family.
[01:05:05] [SPEAKER_08]: So I got to, I got to get paid opposite because you
[01:05:08] [SPEAKER_08]: didn't get that Marvel Sue store money synopsis.
[01:05:11] [SPEAKER_08]: Got to get paid opposite because you didn't get that
[01:05:14] [SPEAKER_08]: Marvel Sue store money synopsis synopsis.
[01:05:18] [SPEAKER_08]: Her dad, her dad is Simon Artemis a billionaire and
[01:05:24] [SPEAKER_08]: ruthless social climber.
[01:05:26] [SPEAKER_08]: She's the product of an affair he claims not to
[01:05:30] [SPEAKER_08]: remember and Grace and her mum mum will were left to
[01:05:33] [SPEAKER_08]: fend for themselves when her mother dies and she's
[01:05:36] [SPEAKER_08]: rejected by the very people who should love her.
[01:05:39] [SPEAKER_08]: Grace transforms her anger into something useful killing
[01:05:43] [SPEAKER_08]: off the estranged extended family via morbidly creative
[01:05:47] [SPEAKER_08]: means.
[01:05:48] [SPEAKER_08]: What are you doing?
[01:05:50] [SPEAKER_08]: No date for the family reunion on Netflix.
[01:05:53] [SPEAKER_02]: She must have got a taste for it when she was doing
[01:05:57] [SPEAKER_02]: the menu.
[01:05:58] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh yeah, that's right.
[01:05:59] [SPEAKER_06]: She was in the menu.
[01:06:00] [SPEAKER_06]: There you go.
[01:06:01] [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
[01:06:02] [SPEAKER_06]: Well moving on to in that's your home.
[01:06:05] [SPEAKER_06]: Are you too good for your home news?
[01:06:08] [SPEAKER_06]: Answer me.
[01:06:08] [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
[01:06:09] [SPEAKER_06]: Adam Sandler has been working on getting a Happy Gilmore
[01:06:12] [SPEAKER_06]: sequel off the ground for a long time and a few months
[01:06:15] [SPEAKER_06]: ago we learned that it was actually happening and that
[01:06:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Netflix is producing it.
[01:06:19] [SPEAKER_06]: Sandler has now confirmed that Happy Gilmore 2 will
[01:06:21] [SPEAKER_06]: start shooting in a couple of weeks in New Jersey.
[01:06:24] [SPEAKER_06]: It was also revealed that the cast will include real
[01:06:27] [SPEAKER_06]: professional golfers and cameos from people like
[01:06:29] [SPEAKER_06]: Travis Kelsey who is apparently in everything now.
[01:06:32] [SPEAKER_08]: Exactly.
[01:06:32] [SPEAKER_08]: Do we need this movie?
[01:06:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Is that new PWHs?
[01:06:37] [SPEAKER_08]: No.
[01:06:38] [SPEAKER_08]: So, double A.
[01:06:39] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[01:06:40] [SPEAKER_08]: You're the only golfer on this panel.
[01:06:42] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm just going to assume.
[01:06:43] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't know who else is golfing on here but I know
[01:06:45] [SPEAKER_08]: you're a golfer.
[01:06:46] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[01:06:46] [SPEAKER_08]: Were you a big Happy Gilmore fan?
[01:06:49] [SPEAKER_08]: Do you want this movie?
[01:06:50] [SPEAKER_03]: I was.
[01:06:51] [SPEAKER_03]: I think it was a fantastic movie.
[01:06:53] [SPEAKER_03]: It was one of the movies that propelled him into
[01:06:55] [SPEAKER_03]: fame early in his career like after SNL, you know.
[01:07:01] [SPEAKER_03]: But do we need this?
[01:07:02] [SPEAKER_03]: No.
[01:07:03] [SPEAKER_03]: No, we don't.
[01:07:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Did we ask for it?
[01:07:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely not.
[01:07:06] [SPEAKER_03]: There was nothing wrong with the first and also are
[01:07:09] [SPEAKER_03]: we getting too much Travis Kelsey?
[01:07:11] [SPEAKER_03]: I listened to their podcast.
[01:07:13] [SPEAKER_03]: It's fantastic.
[01:07:14] [SPEAKER_03]: It really is good but man, I don't need any more
[01:07:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Travis Kelsey.
[01:07:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[01:07:18] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't start shoving him down my throat.
[01:07:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[01:07:23] [SPEAKER_03]: But no, to your question, I didn't ask for this.
[01:07:26] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't want this and will I watch it?
[01:07:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Unfortunately, yes.
[01:07:31] [SPEAKER_03]: On Netflix is fucking terrible.
[01:07:33] [SPEAKER_03]: So I will watch it but I'm going to go into it with
[01:07:37] [SPEAKER_03]: zero expectations so that way if it's a one, maybe
[01:07:40] [SPEAKER_03]: it's still enjoyable.
[01:07:42] [SPEAKER_02]: You're going to watch it out of spite.
[01:07:43] [SPEAKER_02]: We all know you're going to watch it out of spite.
[01:07:45] [SPEAKER_07]: All I will say is that it should get funded or it is,
[01:07:52] [SPEAKER_07]: how do I segue into this joke?
[01:07:55] [SPEAKER_02]: If you're asking are you sure you want to do it?
[01:07:58] [SPEAKER_08]: Well, maybe.
[01:08:01] [SPEAKER_08]: I just want, you know, whenever, double A, whenever you
[01:08:04] [SPEAKER_08]: sit there, sit down and watch this, can you get full on
[01:08:08] [SPEAKER_08]: garbed into like a golf outfit?
[01:08:11] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, absolutely.
[01:08:13] [SPEAKER_08]: With like a golf.
[01:08:13] [SPEAKER_08]: You got to wear the golf pants.
[01:08:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Like old style like pantaloons and stuff.
[01:08:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I have some old school Knickerbocker style
[01:08:20] [SPEAKER_03]: golf pants.
[01:08:21] [SPEAKER_03]: I can wear absolutely.
[01:08:22] [SPEAKER_03]: And then you got to wear one of those hats with
[01:08:24] [SPEAKER_03]: like the little point thing on the top.
[01:08:25] [SPEAKER_03]: The little poof.
[01:08:27] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:08:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Fun fact, well, Phil and James, you guys know, I played at
[01:08:30] [SPEAKER_03]: the course that they filmed the original Happy Gilmore at.
[01:08:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
[01:08:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Where was that?
[01:08:35] [SPEAKER_03]: It's in Hawaii in the island of Kauai.
[01:08:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, cool.
[01:08:39] [SPEAKER_03]: All right.
[01:08:40] [SPEAKER_07]: I got it.
[01:08:41] [SPEAKER_08]: That's awesome.
[01:08:42] [SPEAKER_08]: That's good for you.
[01:08:42] [SPEAKER_07]: So however much money Netflix put into this, the price
[01:08:45] [SPEAKER_07]: was still wrong, bitch.
[01:08:48] [SPEAKER_07]: There you go.
[01:08:48] [SPEAKER_03]: See what you did there, sir.
[01:08:50] [SPEAKER_07]: And it was worth the wait.
[01:08:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I would prefer the next 50 dates so that we could see
[01:08:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Sean Aston in a mesh tank top again.
[01:09:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, but I mean, sure.
[01:09:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Happy Gilmore.
[01:09:03] [SPEAKER_06]: And again, Sean loves that shirt.
[01:09:05] [SPEAKER_06]: Absolutely.
[01:09:07] [SPEAKER_06]: We heard it from the horse's mouth.
[01:09:10] [SPEAKER_06]: All right, ladies and gentlemen, let's move on to the
[01:09:11] [SPEAKER_08]: next story here.
[01:09:13] [SPEAKER_08]: We're turning into the golf channel news.
[01:09:16] [SPEAKER_08]: Timothy Olofant from Santa Clarita has joined the cast
[01:09:20] [SPEAKER_08]: of Owen Wilson's untitled golf centered comedy series
[01:09:24] [SPEAKER_08]: at Apple TV plus more golf.
[01:09:27] [SPEAKER_08]: Is this what we need?
[01:09:28] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, the show was picked up for 10 episodes at Apple TV
[01:09:31] [SPEAKER_08]: in March.
[01:09:31] [SPEAKER_08]: Wilson will star alongside fellow cast members Peter
[01:09:35] [SPEAKER_08]: Dager, Mark Marin, great comic, Mariana Trevino, Lily K
[01:09:40] [SPEAKER_08]: and Judy Greer Olofant will appear in a guest role
[01:09:43] [SPEAKER_08]: per the official log line.
[01:09:46] [SPEAKER_08]: Let's see the series follows price K Hill and
[01:09:49] [SPEAKER_08]: over the hill ex pro golfer whose career was derailed
[01:09:53] [SPEAKER_08]: prematurely 20 years ago after he gets fired from
[01:09:56] [SPEAKER_08]: his job at an Indiana sporting goods store and
[01:09:59] [SPEAKER_08]: his wife walks out on him.
[01:10:01] [SPEAKER_08]: That's sad price hedges his bets entirely on a
[01:10:04] [SPEAKER_08]: troubled 17 year old golf phenom.
[01:10:08] [SPEAKER_06]: No, the undertaker.
[01:10:09] [SPEAKER_06]: Ladies and gentlemen, that was a synopsis.
[01:10:15] [SPEAKER_07]: I should have an untitled opposite golf comedy
[01:10:18] [SPEAKER_07]: synopsis.
[01:10:19] [SPEAKER_03]: So is this like a combination of like 10 cup and the
[01:10:23] [SPEAKER_03]: legend of bagger, Vance or whatever?
[01:10:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Are they combining?
[01:10:26] [SPEAKER_02]: No, you know what this is?
[01:10:28] [SPEAKER_02]: This is Loki season three.
[01:10:32] [SPEAKER_08]: Plus, plus mixing in some karate kid.
[01:10:35] [SPEAKER_02]: This is where he was.
[01:10:39] [SPEAKER_02]: This is where he goes.
[01:10:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Remember, he said he was going to go find one
[01:10:43] [SPEAKER_02]: of those lives.
[01:10:44] [SPEAKER_02]: This is what he did.
[01:10:45] [SPEAKER_02]: This is it.
[01:10:46] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm convinced.
[01:10:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Apple TV.
[01:10:51] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm bored with it, though, because I can never get
[01:10:54] [SPEAKER_03]: enough Timothy all of it.
[01:10:55] [SPEAKER_03]: I love him.
[01:10:56] [SPEAKER_03]: I even all the way back to hit man.
[01:10:58] [SPEAKER_03]: That movie was terrible.
[01:10:59] [SPEAKER_03]: He was still awesome.
[01:11:00] [SPEAKER_03]: I love everything justified.
[01:11:02] [SPEAKER_03]: He was fantastic.
[01:11:03] [SPEAKER_03]: He's such an underrated actor, but I don't have
[01:11:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Apple TV because I don't know if it's worth it.
[01:11:08] [SPEAKER_03]: There's shows on it.
[01:11:09] [SPEAKER_07]: We'll walk you after our next story.
[01:11:12] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, give me what you got.
[01:11:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, well, let James do his last line.
[01:11:17] [SPEAKER_08]: Apple TV plus has yet to set a T time for the series.
[01:11:22] [SPEAKER_08]: All right, you'll want to have Apple TV plus after our story.
[01:11:26] [SPEAKER_02]: From little balls to big balls and biscuits looks like
[01:11:30] [SPEAKER_02]: things are moving forward for a fourth season of Ted Lasso
[01:11:35] [SPEAKER_02]: before the show was made.
[01:11:37] [SPEAKER_02]: It's creators had developed a three season story,
[01:11:41] [SPEAKER_02]: which has been carried out previously without intent
[01:11:45] [SPEAKER_02]: to press forward beyond, but they never could have anticipated
[01:11:49] [SPEAKER_02]: how important and beloved the series would become to its fans.
[01:11:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I'm a lasso neon.
[01:11:56] [SPEAKER_02]: So in a major step toward the long awaited fourth season
[01:12:00] [SPEAKER_02]: of Apple TV's hugely popular soccer comedy,
[01:12:05] [SPEAKER_02]: the series studio Warner Brothers television.
[01:12:08] [SPEAKER_02]: What?
[01:12:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, has picked up the options on three original cast members
[01:12:14] [SPEAKER_02]: who had been contracted under the a G.S.
[01:12:18] [SPEAKER_02]: of the UK acting union equity.
[01:12:21] [SPEAKER_02]: What the hell?
[01:12:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Nobody uses a G.S. anymore.
[01:12:24] [SPEAKER_02]: They are Hannah Waddingham who plays AFC Richmond owner
[01:12:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Rebecca Walton.
[01:12:30] [SPEAKER_02]: So hot.
[01:12:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Bex.
[01:12:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Brett Goldstein who plays Hardman Roy Kent.
[01:12:38] [SPEAKER_02]: That's debatable.
[01:12:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean he is one of my favorite.
[01:12:42] [SPEAKER_02]: He's everywhere Roy Kent, but and Jeremy Swift who plays
[01:12:46] [SPEAKER_02]: director of football operations Leslie Higgins.
[01:12:50] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm so happy.
[01:12:52] [SPEAKER_02]: I actually saw it from Jeremy Swift.
[01:12:54] [SPEAKER_02]: He's the one that told him after securing the trio,
[01:12:57] [SPEAKER_02]: the studio is expected to start reaching out to Ted Lasso
[01:13:00] [SPEAKER_02]: cast members with SAG after contracts whose options had expired
[01:13:05] [SPEAKER_02]: so they will need to make new deals and I'm betting it's probably
[01:13:09] [SPEAKER_02]: gonna be expensive.
[01:13:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Getting the cast back paves away toward a season four
[01:13:14] [SPEAKER_02]: green light contingent on budget approval and scheduling as
[01:13:18] [SPEAKER_02]: actors whose options have lapsed may have joined other series
[01:13:22] [SPEAKER_02]: that have them in first position.
[01:13:25] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm very excited for this just because yes,
[01:13:27] [SPEAKER_06]: I need more Ted Lasso in my life.
[01:13:29] [SPEAKER_06]: Can I be Katie's advocate for a second?
[01:13:31] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh God.
[01:13:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Don't you pop this Ted Lasso bubble.
[01:13:34] [SPEAKER_06]: I feel like it ended properly.
[01:13:36] [SPEAKER_06]: No, I feel like there's more story to be told.
[01:13:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Here's what I would like to say is that Ted Lasso's story
[01:13:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I think concluded.
[01:13:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Now I think a lot of the other characters still had more
[01:13:48] [SPEAKER_02]: story to tell and I would like instead of a season four
[01:13:52] [SPEAKER_02]: I'd like them to rename it to like A.S.
[01:13:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Richmond or the Richmond way something like that like the
[01:14:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Richmond way.
[01:14:01] [SPEAKER_02]: And then you don't even have to have Ted in it.
[01:14:04] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, Jason is unavailable.
[01:14:06] [SPEAKER_07]: Jason's just saying.
[01:14:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm just saying.
[01:14:09] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I'm just saying that I think Ted's stories are
[01:14:12] [SPEAKER_07]: running would undercut his arc a little bit to bring him back
[01:14:16] [SPEAKER_06]: or just make it a spin off and it's just now you're
[01:14:20] [SPEAKER_06]: seeing more Roy Kent and that's all that matters.
[01:14:22] [SPEAKER_07]: That's what I'm saying.
[01:14:22] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, just make it just just call it he's here.
[01:14:25] [SPEAKER_07]: He's there.
[01:14:26] [SPEAKER_07]: He's everywhere.
[01:14:26] [SPEAKER_07]: He's every fucking way as Roy Kent.
[01:14:27] [SPEAKER_07]: He's every fucking way.
[01:14:28] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, if Ted Lasso shows up like in the finale episode of
[01:14:33] [SPEAKER_08]: the season or something like that.
[01:14:34] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, something like that. Yeah.
[01:14:37] [SPEAKER_08]: So double it you've never seen Ted Lasso.
[01:14:39] [SPEAKER_03]: No, I watched a few episodes on the on a plane because it
[01:14:42] [SPEAKER_03]: had like free Apple TV's and I've seen golfed in
[01:14:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Kauai.
[01:14:46] [SPEAKER_08]: Is that what you want to different trip?
[01:14:49] [SPEAKER_08]: But different trip.
[01:14:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Excuse me.
[01:14:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, coming from the guy that Gallivance every weekend
[01:14:55] [SPEAKER_03]: to another state to go to a con.
[01:14:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, don't tell me about travel when he's not going
[01:15:01] [SPEAKER_02]: to Disneyland.
[01:15:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.
[01:15:02] [SPEAKER_03]: That's definitely a job.
[01:15:04] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't like this idea though because I am so tired of
[01:15:08] [SPEAKER_03]: American TV just taking something good and beating
[01:15:12] [SPEAKER_03]: it to death.
[01:15:13] [SPEAKER_03]: That's what I'm saying.
[01:15:14] [SPEAKER_03]: A lot of European television they do two seasons
[01:15:17] [SPEAKER_03]: maybe three and that's it.
[01:15:19] [SPEAKER_03]: That's all you need.
[01:15:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Stop dragging these things out.
[01:15:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Give us really, really good content for three seasons and
[01:15:25] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm so tired of this like oh I need everybody.
[01:15:29] [SPEAKER_03]: It's money, money, money.
[01:15:30] [SPEAKER_03]: You know what I'm saying?
[01:15:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Like it's just going to water it down and it's going
[01:15:33] [SPEAKER_03]: to end on a low.
[01:15:35] [SPEAKER_08]: I get what you're saying but how many seasons have
[01:15:37] [SPEAKER_08]: doctor who have there been 572.
[01:15:40] [SPEAKER_08]: That's the one.
[01:15:42] [SPEAKER_03]: That's the one.
[01:15:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[01:15:44] [SPEAKER_04]: All right.
[01:15:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
[01:15:45] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to go back to the question.
[01:15:48] [SPEAKER_02]: We all know that Game of Thrones season eight was
[01:15:51] [SPEAKER_02]: abhorrent and they should have just said okay we're not
[01:15:55] [SPEAKER_02]: doing another season and left it on a cliffhanger.
[01:15:58] [SPEAKER_06]: That was made by two dudes who did not understand what
[01:16:01] [SPEAKER_06]: George R. R. Martin was creating.
[01:16:03] [SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
[01:16:05] [SPEAKER_02]: But I'm saying like you know I agree sometimes you
[01:16:09] [SPEAKER_02]: don't need to do an additional thing and you
[01:16:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I like that I just want it to be a good story.
[01:16:15] [SPEAKER_07]: This is part of the reason I like your idea of doing a
[01:16:17] [SPEAKER_07]: spin off rather than a four seasons.
[01:16:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:16:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's just see what happened the year after Ted left.
[01:16:23] [SPEAKER_07]: You look at one season thing.
[01:16:25] [SPEAKER_07]: You could do.
[01:16:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Limited series.
[01:16:28] [SPEAKER_02]: It'll win an Emmy.
[01:16:29] [SPEAKER_07]: Yep, exactly.
[01:16:30] [SPEAKER_07]: Limited series.
[01:16:31] [SPEAKER_07]: This is my pitch.
[01:16:32] [SPEAKER_07]: You know how they do tales of the Jedi, tales of
[01:16:34] [SPEAKER_07]: the empire or whatever?
[01:16:35] [SPEAKER_07]: Tales of lasso.
[01:16:38] [SPEAKER_07]: Where every episode of the like limited series is a
[01:16:41] [SPEAKER_07]: different character.
[01:16:41] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I like that too.
[01:16:43] [SPEAKER_06]: Like an anthology.
[01:16:44] [SPEAKER_06]: That'd be cool.
[01:16:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:16:45] [SPEAKER_06]: But we are kind of lingering on this one a little bit
[01:16:48] [SPEAKER_06]: too long.
[01:16:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Anyway, so.
[01:16:49] [SPEAKER_06]: The next story here.
[01:16:50] [SPEAKER_06]: So let's move on to the next year.
[01:16:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, I reckon it's time to head out west for some
[01:16:55] [SPEAKER_08]: more news.
[01:16:56] [SPEAKER_08]: That was so bad.
[01:16:57] [SPEAKER_08]: That was terrible.
[01:16:58] [SPEAKER_08]: Pilgrim.
[01:17:00] [SPEAKER_08]: Matthew Fox from Lost and Speed Racer.
[01:17:03] [SPEAKER_08]: I forget I was in Speed Racer.
[01:17:04] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[01:17:04] [SPEAKER_08]: Is sent as part opposite Michelle Pfeiffer in Taylor
[01:17:09] [SPEAKER_08]: Sheridan's Yellowstone spinoff, the Madison.
[01:17:13] [SPEAKER_08]: Interesting.
[01:17:13] [SPEAKER_08]: The spinoff is scheduled to begin production later this
[01:17:16] [SPEAKER_08]: month in Montana, New York and Texas.
[01:17:19] [SPEAKER_08]: The Madison is a heartfelt study of grief and
[01:17:22] [SPEAKER_08]: human connection following a New York city family in
[01:17:25] [SPEAKER_08]: the Madison River Valley of central Montana.
[01:17:29] [SPEAKER_08]: I have never watched Yellowstone.
[01:17:31] [SPEAKER_07]: About to say, you know, milking things.
[01:17:34] [SPEAKER_07]: Have you seen the spinoff shows?
[01:17:37] [SPEAKER_08]: The series is said to follow wealthy matriarch Stacy
[01:17:40] [SPEAKER_08]: Clyburn and her family as they leave New York and
[01:17:43] [SPEAKER_08]: head to Montana in the wake of her husband and
[01:17:46] [SPEAKER_08]: brother-in-law's tragic deaths in a plane crash.
[01:17:49] [SPEAKER_08]: It's expected to premiere sometime in 2025 following
[01:17:52] [SPEAKER_08]: the conclusion of the mother ship season five B,
[01:17:57] [SPEAKER_08]: which will ride into the sunset starting
[01:18:00] [SPEAKER_08]: November 10th.
[01:18:00] [SPEAKER_08]: I know this is a big show for a lot of people,
[01:18:02] [SPEAKER_08]: but I haven't I haven't dove into it.
[01:18:04] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not a Western fan.
[01:18:06] [SPEAKER_03]: I am not interested like one bit.
[01:18:08] [SPEAKER_03]: I was not interested at all.
[01:18:11] [SPEAKER_03]: And then two years ago they do every year like the
[01:18:15] [SPEAKER_03]: marathon for like New Year between like Christmas
[01:18:19] [SPEAKER_03]: and New Year's and the doctor and I were sitting
[01:18:21] [SPEAKER_03]: here and we're like, dude, there's nothing on.
[01:18:23] [SPEAKER_03]: We're like, you know what?
[01:18:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Screw it. Let's watch it.
[01:18:25] [SPEAKER_03]: So we put it on and I'm telling you it is.
[01:18:29] [SPEAKER_03]: It's actually pretty goddamn good.
[01:18:32] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to lie and I'm not a huge Western fan.
[01:18:35] [SPEAKER_03]: And I was like, dude sucked into this show.
[01:18:37] [SPEAKER_03]: It could have already ended and they very well could
[01:18:40] [SPEAKER_03]: have done it in four seasons.
[01:18:42] [SPEAKER_03]: I get why they're going that extra season,
[01:18:44] [SPEAKER_03]: but holy crap, it's good.
[01:18:46] [SPEAKER_03]: But again, it's Taylor Sheridan.
[01:18:48] [SPEAKER_03]: He's fantastic.
[01:18:50] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean look at Sicario, right?
[01:18:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Look at Heller Highwater.
[01:18:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Like he is fantastic.
[01:18:54] [SPEAKER_03]: I just think he's got too many like irons in
[01:18:57] [SPEAKER_03]: the fire and can he give this his full undivided
[01:19:01] [SPEAKER_03]: attention and make it as good as Yellowstone?
[01:19:03] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:19:04] [SPEAKER_06]: With 17 other spin offs that are that are happening.
[01:19:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, 1923.
[01:19:08] [SPEAKER_03]: He's got like 1899 and then he's like working on
[01:19:11] [SPEAKER_03]: some other movie or like, dude, just commit to one
[01:19:14] [SPEAKER_03]: for now.
[01:19:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Right.
[01:19:15] [SPEAKER_06]: It's like The Walking Dead where there's like
[01:19:16] [SPEAKER_06]: unending spin offs of the show.
[01:19:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, but I mean it, you know,
[01:19:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Kirkman was doing The Walking Dead,
[01:19:23] [SPEAKER_02]: all the other stuff and Invincible and like
[01:19:26] [SPEAKER_02]: something else along the way and trying to make a movie.
[01:19:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't know.
[01:19:31] [SPEAKER_02]: They all need to just take some more ADHD medicine.
[01:19:35] [SPEAKER_06]: Definitely.
[01:19:37] [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
[01:19:38] [SPEAKER_06]: Well guys, any other comments on this before we
[01:19:41] [SPEAKER_06]: move on to the next story?
[01:19:42] [SPEAKER_06]: I have no comment.
[01:19:43] [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
[01:19:43] [SPEAKER_06]: Well let's go ahead and move on.
[01:19:44] [SPEAKER_08]: My only comment is it was a good,
[01:19:46] [SPEAKER_08]: it was a good accent I had at the beginning.
[01:19:48] [SPEAKER_08]: The fuck you said accent?
[01:19:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Again, I have no comment.
[01:19:51] [SPEAKER_06]: There you go.
[01:19:52] [SPEAKER_07]: You have no comment.
[01:19:53] [SPEAKER_06]: I should do that one in Australian accent, do it.
[01:19:55] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, oh, I was just going to do the actual,
[01:19:57] [SPEAKER_07]: like the line.
[01:19:58] [SPEAKER_07]: Have you ever heard the tragedy of Star Wars,
[01:20:02] [SPEAKER_07]: The Acolyte?
[01:20:03] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh.
[01:20:05] [SPEAKER_07]: That's it.
[01:20:05] [SPEAKER_07]: I just heard an oof.
[01:20:08] [SPEAKER_07]: The Acolyte was cancelled by Disney even though
[01:20:11] [SPEAKER_07]: the Star Wars series set up a story arc
[01:20:13] [SPEAKER_07]: that could and should be continued to build on,
[01:20:16] [SPEAKER_07]: should be built on and could explore
[01:20:19] [SPEAKER_07]: the story of Darth Agus.
[01:20:21] [SPEAKER_07]: The news of the cancellation was mostly a mixture
[01:20:23] [SPEAKER_07]: of disappointment from fans and indifference from others.
[01:20:26] [SPEAKER_07]: Then there are some of the cast members
[01:20:27] [SPEAKER_07]: who were very surprised by the decision.
[01:20:29] [SPEAKER_07]: According to Hollywood insiders,
[01:20:31] [SPEAKER_07]: the Acolyte was cancelled.
[01:20:32] [SPEAKER_07]: These simply didn't have the viewership Disney would want,
[01:20:35] [SPEAKER_07]: keep pumping money into the show.
[01:20:36] [SPEAKER_07]: Who would have thought?
[01:20:37] [SPEAKER_07]: Well, the insider also said the rumor
[01:20:38] [SPEAKER_07]: regarding Keanu Weaves originally being up
[01:20:41] [SPEAKER_07]: for a role in the series was true.
[01:20:42] [SPEAKER_07]: He was Leslie Headland's first foot choice
[01:20:44] [SPEAKER_07]: to play Jedi Master Soul.
[01:20:46] [SPEAKER_07]: However, after scheduling conflict,
[01:20:48] [SPEAKER_07]: permitted him from signing on.
[01:20:49] [SPEAKER_07]: So the role went to Squid Game Star Li Yong-Yai.
[01:20:54] [SPEAKER_07]: Li Zheng-Jai.
[01:20:55] [SPEAKER_07]: Li Zheng-Jai.
[01:20:55] [SPEAKER_07]: It's close.
[01:20:56] [SPEAKER_07]: Li Zheng-Jai.
[01:20:57] [SPEAKER_07]: Point is I'm used to pronouncing Latin and Spanish, so.
[01:21:00] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm sorry.
[01:21:02] [SPEAKER_07]: Weaves may still show up in a Star Wars project.
[01:21:05] [SPEAKER_07]: At some point, as Zook's film says,
[01:21:07] [SPEAKER_07]: and you, young Keanu,
[01:21:08] [SPEAKER_07]: we will watch your career with great interest.
[01:21:10] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh my God.
[01:21:11] [SPEAKER_06]: This was originally supposed to be the Matrix in Star Wars.
[01:21:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
[01:21:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[01:21:16] [SPEAKER_06]: I am still banking on Revan.
[01:21:19] [SPEAKER_06]: I really want him to be Revan.
[01:21:21] [SPEAKER_07]: However, I told this to Mom, too,
[01:21:24] [SPEAKER_07]: that I have some thoughts about that.
[01:21:26] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm going to go through them very, very, very, very, very quickly.
[01:21:29] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't think Revan,
[01:21:31] [SPEAKER_07]: we should confirm the gender of Revan
[01:21:34] [SPEAKER_07]: because I feel like that was kind of a issue in Legends.
[01:21:39] [SPEAKER_07]: Let's keep Revan's Revan ambiguous,
[01:21:41] [SPEAKER_07]: at least for the first beginning,
[01:21:43] [SPEAKER_07]: or for the first part of it,
[01:21:44] [SPEAKER_07]: do a Mandalorian-style thing where it keeps the helmet on the whole time.
[01:21:48] [SPEAKER_07]: That's my opinion.
[01:21:49] [SPEAKER_06]: That's true that in the games,
[01:21:51] [SPEAKER_06]: you never technically...
[01:21:53] [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, a lot of people played Revan as a male,
[01:21:55] [SPEAKER_06]: but technically, you could play Revan as a female.
[01:21:58] [SPEAKER_06]: I did.
[01:21:59] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:22:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Revan can be played by anybody.
[01:22:03] [SPEAKER_06]: I want to say, canonically,
[01:22:05] [SPEAKER_06]: in the comics they ended up making him male.
[01:22:07] [SPEAKER_07]: Canonically, he is a male, yes.
[01:22:09] [SPEAKER_07]: And then the Jedi exile.
[01:22:12] [SPEAKER_07]: That's some bullsh**.
[01:22:13] [SPEAKER_07]: The second one is a woman.
[01:22:14] [SPEAKER_08]: How did you guys jump to Revan so quickly?
[01:22:17] [SPEAKER_08]: I was asking Keanu Reeves,
[01:22:19] [SPEAKER_06]: because Keanu Reeves was supposed to play Sol originally,
[01:22:23] [SPEAKER_06]: and he...
[01:22:24] [SPEAKER_06]: It's been rumored for a long time.
[01:22:25] [SPEAKER_02]: He's a fan-favorite casting voice for Revan.
[01:22:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I was saying, I thought maybe it would be,
[01:22:33] [SPEAKER_02]: like he might be somebody in James Mangold's movie.
[01:22:37] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think, I mean, he could.
[01:22:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it would be neat.
[01:22:41] [SPEAKER_02]: But I do think that...
[01:22:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, I like Revan so much,
[01:22:47] [SPEAKER_02]: and I would love for Keanu to play him, but, you know, whatever.
[01:22:50] [SPEAKER_07]: I have no idea how that would work, say one,
[01:22:53] [SPEAKER_07]: but that's interesting.
[01:22:54] [SPEAKER_02]: That is interesting.
[01:22:55] [SPEAKER_07]: That would be kind of an interesting idea.
[01:22:57] [SPEAKER_07]: So, like, it sounds different something, I don't know.
[01:22:59] [SPEAKER_08]: Did we ever talk about...
[01:23:00] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, we got a big little panel here.
[01:23:02] [SPEAKER_08]: So, acolyte getting canceled.
[01:23:04] [SPEAKER_08]: Thoughts just say good or bad,
[01:23:05] [SPEAKER_08]: that it's canceled.
[01:23:06] [SPEAKER_08]: Bad that it's canceled.
[01:23:07] [SPEAKER_07]: I didn't get the chance to get the chance to get the ambulance.
[01:23:08] [SPEAKER_07]: Bad.
[01:23:08] [SPEAKER_07]: I did not...
[01:23:11] [SPEAKER_07]: I was not the biggest fan of it.
[01:23:14] [SPEAKER_07]: I thought I was okay.
[01:23:15] [SPEAKER_07]: I think it definitely deserved a second season.
[01:23:17] [SPEAKER_07]: Because give it a chance to get better.
[01:23:20] [SPEAKER_02]: More naked man-y than, yeah, sure.
[01:23:22] [SPEAKER_06]: I didn't dislike it.
[01:23:24] [SPEAKER_06]: There were some pacing issues,
[01:23:26] [SPEAKER_06]: but it wasn't like the worst series ever.
[01:23:28] [SPEAKER_06]: Like a lot of people are sitting there saying,
[01:23:30] [SPEAKER_06]: it's the worst thing that was ever made in Star Wars.
[01:23:32] [SPEAKER_06]: No, it's far from that.
[01:23:34] [SPEAKER_06]: It was not bad.
[01:23:35] [SPEAKER_06]: It had some of the best fighting scenes.
[01:23:37] [SPEAKER_06]: It brought in a lot of canon stuff from legends.
[01:23:42] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, it's funny, I bring this up a lot,
[01:23:45] [SPEAKER_06]: but people complaining about Cortosis,
[01:23:46] [SPEAKER_06]: and it's like, no, Cortosis is from the comics.
[01:23:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:23:49] [SPEAKER_06]: Like that's been around since the 80s.
[01:23:50] [SPEAKER_06]: Cortosis is very much, yeah.
[01:23:51] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, like Cortosis has been around since the 80s.
[01:23:53] [SPEAKER_06]: Like it's been around for a long time.
[01:23:55] [SPEAKER_06]: Just that, you know, all of a sudden,
[01:23:56] [SPEAKER_06]: because people don't know about things,
[01:23:58] [SPEAKER_06]: they're gonna sit there and complain and say,
[01:23:59] [SPEAKER_06]: oh yeah, all of a sudden he's got a helmet
[01:24:01] [SPEAKER_06]: that can disrupt the lightsaber.
[01:24:03] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, yeah, it's been around since the 80s.
[01:24:04] [SPEAKER_06]: It's been around for a long time, you know.
[01:24:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Just little used.
[01:24:08] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:24:09] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, it's because it's not strong.
[01:24:10] [SPEAKER_06]: Like the whole thing is like it's not good against
[01:24:13] [SPEAKER_06]: Blastra Fire, but it can stop a lightsaber.
[01:24:15] [SPEAKER_06]: It's always been like that.
[01:24:16] [SPEAKER_07]: Very specific.
[01:24:18] [SPEAKER_07]: If you're fighting a lightsaber-reelding opponent,
[01:24:20] [SPEAKER_07]: you want to use it.
[01:24:22] [SPEAKER_06]: Because it can disrupt the kyber crystal is what it does.
[01:24:24] [SPEAKER_06]: It's not so much the lasers as the crystal itself.
[01:24:27] [SPEAKER_06]: But I mean, even then,
[01:24:28] [SPEAKER_06]: like there's so much that they did that was good,
[01:24:31] [SPEAKER_06]: but people would like to complain about it.
[01:24:33] [SPEAKER_06]: Yes, there were pacing issues.
[01:24:35] [SPEAKER_06]: I will give you that.
[01:24:36] [SPEAKER_06]: It probably would have benefited from a linear storyline
[01:24:39] [SPEAKER_06]: rather than a nonlinear storyline.
[01:24:41] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:24:41] [SPEAKER_06]: As much as I like nonlinear storylines,
[01:24:44] [SPEAKER_06]: because the way that the pacing was,
[01:24:46] [SPEAKER_06]: it didn't lend itself to being a nonlinear storyline.
[01:24:49] [SPEAKER_06]: But the story in itself wasn't a bad story.
[01:24:53] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, there was some acting
[01:24:55] [SPEAKER_06]: that could have been done a little bit better,
[01:24:56] [SPEAKER_06]: but it wasn't overall bad.
[01:24:58] [SPEAKER_06]: You know what I mean?
[01:24:59] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:24:59] [SPEAKER_06]: A lot of people not watching the,
[01:25:02] [SPEAKER_06]: yeah, Joukosta New,
[01:25:04] [SPEAKER_06]: using it later.
[01:25:06] [SPEAKER_06]: There's a lot of Disney Plus canceled it
[01:25:11] [SPEAKER_06]: because not very many people watched the show.
[01:25:13] [SPEAKER_06]: And a lot of that is because of review bombing.
[01:25:16] [SPEAKER_06]: There were a lot of people who review bombed it
[01:25:18] [SPEAKER_06]: and were like,
[01:25:18] [SPEAKER_06]: we don't want anybody to watch the show
[01:25:20] [SPEAKER_06]: and people believe the BS on it.
[01:25:22] [SPEAKER_07]: Right.
[01:25:23] [SPEAKER_07]: And it was all, you know,
[01:25:24] [SPEAKER_07]: oh, well, there's people of color in it or whatever.
[01:25:27] [SPEAKER_07]: That's all it was.
[01:25:27] [SPEAKER_06]: There's a lot of that.
[01:25:29] [SPEAKER_06]: There's a lot of,
[01:25:30] [SPEAKER_06]: it's led by a female
[01:25:31] [SPEAKER_06]: and it's led by a female person of color
[01:25:34] [SPEAKER_06]: and they didn't like that.
[01:25:35] [SPEAKER_06]: They feel like it's...
[01:25:35] [SPEAKER_07]: Well, not a...
[01:25:37] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, well, okay. I guess lead.
[01:25:38] [SPEAKER_07]: I thought you're, yeah.
[01:25:39] [SPEAKER_07]: And the show owner is a woman
[01:25:40] [SPEAKER_07]: and he's a queer woman.
[01:25:42] [SPEAKER_07]: You know, some people...
[01:25:42] [SPEAKER_02]: The thing I didn't understand...
[01:25:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, no, go ahead.
[01:25:45] [SPEAKER_07]: Go ahead.
[01:25:46] [SPEAKER_03]: No, go ahead.
[01:25:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I was just going to say that,
[01:25:47] [SPEAKER_02]: well, I have two things.
[01:25:49] [SPEAKER_02]: I feel like it was commitment issues.
[01:25:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Either they didn't commit hard enough
[01:25:54] [SPEAKER_02]: or they committed too hard to things.
[01:25:56] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think that messed with the story.
[01:25:59] [SPEAKER_02]: And the main one is...
[01:26:02] [SPEAKER_02]: At the end of it,
[01:26:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I wasn't really sure who's story it was
[01:26:06] [SPEAKER_02]: and what the mystery was supposed to be.
[01:26:09] [SPEAKER_06]: Right.
[01:26:09] [SPEAKER_06]: And that's kind of why I said like, you know,
[01:26:11] [SPEAKER_06]: it could have benefited from being a linear story
[01:26:14] [SPEAKER_06]: than trying to go nonlinear
[01:26:16] [SPEAKER_06]: until parts of the story in the past.
[01:26:18] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, it's like just go with the full story.
[01:26:21] [SPEAKER_06]: Double A, what were we going to say?
[01:26:22] [SPEAKER_03]: The problem with making a show like this
[01:26:25] [SPEAKER_03]: that is so deep into lore is it's not made for the masses.
[01:26:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay?
[01:26:29] [SPEAKER_03]: No, it is made for die-hard fans.
[01:26:32] [SPEAKER_03]: The problem is you have the Mandalorian,
[01:26:34] [SPEAKER_03]: which is made for the masses,
[01:26:36] [SPEAKER_03]: and it's the standard that everything now
[01:26:38] [SPEAKER_03]: is going to be held to.
[01:26:40] [SPEAKER_03]: And that show is made for the masses.
[01:26:42] [SPEAKER_03]: If you're going to hold all of these other shows
[01:26:45] [SPEAKER_03]: to the masses that are not made for the masses,
[01:26:48] [SPEAKER_03]: they need to be executed flawlessly.
[01:26:51] [SPEAKER_03]: And this show was not executed flawlessly.
[01:26:55] [SPEAKER_03]: It was mediocre.
[01:26:57] [SPEAKER_03]: I watched it, I paid attention to half of it
[01:27:00] [SPEAKER_03]: because it didn't grab me
[01:27:00] [SPEAKER_03]: because one, I'm not deep into the lore,
[01:27:03] [SPEAKER_03]: but I watch enough Star Wars to know who Boba Fett is.
[01:27:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I watch enough Star Wars to know who the Mandalorian is
[01:27:10] [SPEAKER_03]: and I know enough about Star Wars to watch and or
[01:27:13] [SPEAKER_03]: but you start deep diving these things.
[01:27:16] [SPEAKER_03]: They are made for the small section
[01:27:18] [SPEAKER_03]: of the most toxic group of the community.
[01:27:22] [SPEAKER_03]: It's going to get blasted and they need to stop doing that.
[01:27:25] [SPEAKER_08]: That was actually pretty good.
[01:27:26] [SPEAKER_08]: That was great.
[01:27:28] [SPEAKER_07]: I hate giving you compliments, but that was pretty good.
[01:27:30] [SPEAKER_07]: No, I agree with that.
[01:27:32] [SPEAKER_07]: They need to figure out who are you making these shows for.
[01:27:36] [SPEAKER_07]: And the only thing I'll say just to end out,
[01:27:39] [SPEAKER_07]: Andor got about the same viewership.
[01:27:42] [SPEAKER_08]: But there was a difference.
[01:27:44] [SPEAKER_08]: The difference was is that Andor,
[01:27:46] [SPEAKER_08]: their viewership always climbed week to week.
[01:27:50] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, right.
[01:27:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, Acolyte went down.
[01:27:53] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, still tough.
[01:27:55] [SPEAKER_08]: Anyway, moving on.
[01:27:56] [SPEAKER_06]: Let's go ahead and move on to the next story here, guys,
[01:27:59] [SPEAKER_06]: because and in some mother fuckers always trying
[01:28:01] [SPEAKER_06]: to ice skate uphill news.
[01:28:03] [SPEAKER_06]: Fucking love that line.
[01:28:05] [SPEAKER_06]: That's such a good line.
[01:28:06] [SPEAKER_06]: And it was ad libbed.
[01:28:07] [SPEAKER_06]: What makes it so good.
[01:28:09] [SPEAKER_06]: Ryan Reynolds is continuing to express his excitement
[01:28:12] [SPEAKER_06]: over Wesley Snipes blade and campaigning
[01:28:15] [SPEAKER_06]: for the actor to get a fourth blade movie,
[01:28:17] [SPEAKER_06]: which he previously said should be a Logan like send off.
[01:28:20] [SPEAKER_06]: When recently talking about Snipes return to blade,
[01:28:23] [SPEAKER_06]: Reynolds said the reaction when at real Wesley Snipes
[01:28:26] [SPEAKER_06]: enters enters a movie is most intense
[01:28:29] [SPEAKER_06]: is the most intense thing I've heard in a theater.
[01:28:32] [SPEAKER_06]: People screaming with uninhibited joy
[01:28:33] [SPEAKER_06]: and love is always a sound of legacy.
[01:28:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Reynolds went on to add more blade please hashtag daywalker.
[01:28:41] [SPEAKER_06]: I am 100% behind this.
[01:28:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I think he's billionaire drunk.
[01:28:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Because you made a billion off of that woman Wolverine.
[01:28:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I think I think Ryan Reynolds is billionaire billionaire
[01:28:56] [SPEAKER_02]: drunk. I do.
[01:28:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I think he is.
[01:28:58] [SPEAKER_06]: I really do feel like they're like they should do a movie
[01:29:02] [SPEAKER_06]: that ends the like we finally get a ending to West
[01:29:06] [SPEAKER_06]: Wesley Snipes is blade.
[01:29:07] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you know, like a proper send off for blade.
[01:29:10] [SPEAKER_06]: And that we can segue into my her shall.
[01:29:13] [SPEAKER_06]: I'll leave right.
[01:29:14] [SPEAKER_06]: I've seen people say online like do a multiverse movie.
[01:29:17] [SPEAKER_06]: That's MCU adjacent something that's in the MCU
[01:29:19] [SPEAKER_06]: and have blade mentor Mahershala Ali's version.
[01:29:23] [SPEAKER_06]: I like that idea.
[01:29:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, should they make Mahershala Ali's version British again?
[01:29:28] [SPEAKER_06]: Then I I've been kind of in between that because it's like,
[01:29:32] [SPEAKER_06]: OK, do they go with the updated version of blade
[01:29:35] [SPEAKER_06]: that Wesley Snipes did or do they go back to the original
[01:29:38] [SPEAKER_06]: comic book version and we get the British blade like he is in
[01:29:43] [SPEAKER_06]: the comics.
[01:29:44] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:29:44] [SPEAKER_06]: But the thing is, is that sometimes the updates are perfect
[01:29:47] [SPEAKER_06]: for what they are.
[01:29:48] [SPEAKER_06]: It's the same thing with rocket raccoon.
[01:29:50] [SPEAKER_06]: Rocket raccoon is supposed to be a cockney and they made
[01:29:53] [SPEAKER_06]: him basically like a little, you know, asshole from Brooklyn
[01:29:57] [SPEAKER_06]: and he's great.
[01:29:58] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I think something's going on.
[01:30:00] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't think Feige or Marvel or Disney would be OK
[01:30:04] [SPEAKER_08]: with Ryan Reynolds throwing out a tweet or whatever social media
[01:30:09] [SPEAKER_08]: post about this without there being some kind of like, all
[01:30:13] [SPEAKER_08]: right, let's entertain this.
[01:30:15] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I think Ryan Reynolds just made them a hell of a lot of
[01:30:19] [SPEAKER_02]: money.
[01:30:19] [SPEAKER_02]: And so they're like, you say whatever you want.
[01:30:22] [SPEAKER_02]: You do however you want to market it, baby.
[01:30:24] [SPEAKER_03]: I see both sides of that because James, you got a point
[01:30:27] [SPEAKER_03]: like they wouldn't want him and he wouldn't want to mess
[01:30:30] [SPEAKER_03]: up any contract he has.
[01:30:31] [SPEAKER_03]: But you make a good point.
[01:30:33] [SPEAKER_03]: He just made him a lot of money and they could be like, you
[01:30:36] [SPEAKER_03]: know what?
[01:30:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Throw that out there and based off of the reaction, we'll
[01:30:40] [SPEAKER_03]: make a decision on if we should do this or not.
[01:30:42] [SPEAKER_07]: Right.
[01:30:42] [SPEAKER_07]: So probably it's Disney.
[01:30:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Yes, you should do this.
[01:30:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[01:30:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, I mean, because like again, some of the biggest
[01:30:48] [SPEAKER_06]: pops in the theater were one blade when blade shows up
[01:30:52] [SPEAKER_06]: and then 10 seconds later when we get gambit.
[01:30:54] [SPEAKER_06]: Yep.
[01:30:54] [SPEAKER_06]: That's what I was thinking.
[01:30:56] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:30:56] [SPEAKER_06]: And I had been telling people for a while on this show.
[01:30:59] [SPEAKER_06]: I had been predicting it that he is going to be in this movie.
[01:31:02] [SPEAKER_06]: Tatum is going to be in the movie.
[01:31:04] [SPEAKER_06]: He's going to be gambit and he's going to knock it out of
[01:31:06] [SPEAKER_06]: the park and he did.
[01:31:07] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:31:08] [SPEAKER_02]: No, I agree.
[01:31:10] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just saying, you know, then give me a gambit movie.
[01:31:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's do a gambit movie.
[01:31:13] [SPEAKER_08]: I definitely want to see it.
[01:31:15] [SPEAKER_08]: Did you see that deleted?
[01:31:15] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[01:31:16] [SPEAKER_08]: Did you see the deleted scene that Rand Reynolds put out
[01:31:18] [SPEAKER_08]: today?
[01:31:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, on one of the monitors was that he was in the,
[01:31:26] [SPEAKER_02]: anyway.
[01:31:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:31:26] [SPEAKER_08]: There was a scene that was cut, but it's really like an end credit
[01:31:30] [SPEAKER_08]: scene where they show gambit walking through the carnage of
[01:31:36] [SPEAKER_08]: all the dead people that were helping Cassandra Nova.
[01:31:39] [SPEAKER_08]: And he turns around and looks and you see in his eyes.
[01:31:42] [SPEAKER_02]: The sparkle circle.
[01:31:43] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[01:31:44] [SPEAKER_08]: You see a portal open up and he just kind of smirked.
[01:31:47] [SPEAKER_06]: God, I need more of him as gambit.
[01:31:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I think he's going to be.
[01:31:52] [SPEAKER_02]: I think they're taking him to the X-Men universe and he's going
[01:31:57] [SPEAKER_02]: to team up with photon and they're going to make their way back.
[01:32:01] [SPEAKER_06]: I think that Marvel understands like, you know, okay, this,
[01:32:06] [SPEAKER_06]: there's been a good reception for blade and for gambit and it's
[01:32:10] [SPEAKER_06]: like we need to do something more with these characters.
[01:32:13] [SPEAKER_06]: One again, because I think that they will do a send off for
[01:32:16] [SPEAKER_06]: Wesley Snipes's blade and then two, finally giving Channing
[01:32:20] [SPEAKER_06]: Tatum a chance as gambit.
[01:32:22] [SPEAKER_06]: Again, my only critiques for that version of gambit is or critique.
[01:32:27] [SPEAKER_06]: The one thing is his eyes weren't red and but that's that's not
[01:32:30] [SPEAKER_06]: hard to do now.
[01:32:31] [SPEAKER_06]: Not what you're doing.
[01:32:33] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, I've seen the Photoshop that they somebody did a Photoshop
[01:32:36] [SPEAKER_06]: of that version of gambit and they brought in his his cowling
[01:32:41] [SPEAKER_06]: a little bit than that way comes into his face a little
[01:32:43] [SPEAKER_06]: more and made his eyes red and he looks exactly like the
[01:32:45] [SPEAKER_06]: comic books.
[01:32:46] [SPEAKER_06]: Nice.
[01:32:47] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, so right because his cow, his I did feel like his
[01:32:49] [SPEAKER_06]: cow didn't come back, come up enough.
[01:32:52] [SPEAKER_06]: It was kind of too far back on his face.
[01:32:53] [SPEAKER_02]: But like I said, I could just that could have been the they did
[01:32:56] [SPEAKER_02]: that on purpose because it restricted his talking.
[01:33:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:33:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, like and that's the only thing I like looking at it
[01:33:03] [SPEAKER_06]: again, somebody Photoshopped it and they brought it into where
[01:33:06] [SPEAKER_06]: it should be based on the comic version of him.
[01:33:09] [SPEAKER_06]: And then they Photoshopped his eyes red and he just and he
[01:33:12] [SPEAKER_06]: looks exactly like like he looks exactly like he does in
[01:33:15] [SPEAKER_06]: the comics and it looks fucking fantastic.
[01:33:18] [SPEAKER_06]: I believe that we need more of these characters, whether
[01:33:21] [SPEAKER_06]: especially with the with the multiverse being the thing
[01:33:23] [SPEAKER_06]: right now, even if you're giving them a send off or you're
[01:33:27] [SPEAKER_06]: just giving them just another chance to play the character.
[01:33:30] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:33:30] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, I want at least one more version of each of these
[01:33:34] [SPEAKER_06]: characters and before you go into rehearsal Ali or you
[01:33:39] [SPEAKER_06]: recast gambit, you know, because give him a chance
[01:33:41] [SPEAKER_06]: to do a full gambit.
[01:33:43] [SPEAKER_06]: I would love it.
[01:33:44] [SPEAKER_06]: Nice.
[01:33:44] [SPEAKER_06]: Sweet.
[01:33:45] [SPEAKER_06]: So let's go ahead and move on unless anybody has any other
[01:33:48] [SPEAKER_06]: comments.
[01:33:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Let's move on.
[01:33:49] [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
[01:33:50] [SPEAKER_02]: All right, Jen, what you got in I got no strings news.
[01:33:58] [SPEAKER_02]: It was announced that actor James Spader would be
[01:34:02] [SPEAKER_02]: returning to Marvel to play Ultron in the upcoming
[01:34:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Vision series.
[01:34:08] [SPEAKER_02]: He originally voiced the villainous AI robot in Marvel's
[01:34:12] [SPEAKER_02]: 2015 film Avengers Age of Ultron.
[01:34:16] [SPEAKER_02]: But we may be seeing the character in a whole new
[01:34:18] [SPEAKER_02]: way in this new series.
[01:34:20] [SPEAKER_02]: According to report from deadline, the role in
[01:34:24] [SPEAKER_02]: vision may not be voice over.
[01:34:26] [SPEAKER_02]: We hear this doesn't sound 100% positive, but if
[01:34:29] [SPEAKER_02]: it's true, it sounds like we will be seeing Ultron
[01:34:33] [SPEAKER_02]: in his human form.
[01:34:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Details of the new series have not been revealed,
[01:34:38] [SPEAKER_02]: but the Marvel Vision series has been in development
[01:34:40] [SPEAKER_02]: at Disney Plus since 2022.
[01:34:44] [SPEAKER_02]: At the time, it was reported that the series would
[01:34:47] [SPEAKER_02]: center on the vision trying to regain his memory
[01:34:51] [SPEAKER_02]: and humanity.
[01:34:53] [SPEAKER_06]: Because he's anti-vision right now, so it makes
[01:34:55] [SPEAKER_06]: sense.
[01:34:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, he is.
[01:34:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, he really is.
[01:34:59] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's it.
[01:35:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I feel like if they do that, they could actually
[01:35:03] [SPEAKER_02]: do what I was saying.
[01:35:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Because if he's trying to regain his memory
[01:35:07] [SPEAKER_02]: and his humanity, you know, and then it's
[01:35:10] [SPEAKER_02]: like it's all in his head, he creates the
[01:35:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Synthesoid family and he envisions Ultron as
[01:35:18] [SPEAKER_02]: human.
[01:35:19] [SPEAKER_02]: So because they did have that big huge fight and
[01:35:24] [SPEAKER_02]: stuff in Age of Ultron.
[01:35:27] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they had that whole thing before he becomes
[01:35:29] [SPEAKER_02]: the AI robots.
[01:35:30] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think that would be a really cool way to do
[01:35:33] [SPEAKER_02]: it.
[01:35:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe he's his therapist.
[01:35:36] [SPEAKER_02]: That would be interesting.
[01:35:37] [SPEAKER_07]: It could be like a Moon Knight thing almost.
[01:35:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Not really even, because like they're basically
[01:35:42] [SPEAKER_02]: vision is two personalities.
[01:35:44] [SPEAKER_02]: He is Ultron and he's Jarvis.
[01:35:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And that's why he's Vision.
[01:35:50] [SPEAKER_06]: So like Moon Knight?
[01:35:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, no, but it's like we're separate people.
[01:35:54] [SPEAKER_06]: The joke is we're spinning off Vision, or we're
[01:35:57] [SPEAKER_06]: spinning off Ultron out of Vision's head.
[01:36:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah.
[01:36:01] [SPEAKER_06]: I got you.
[01:36:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Cool.
[01:36:03] [SPEAKER_02]: But I mean if he's going to be in his human
[01:36:04] [SPEAKER_02]: form, I mean that's to me that's the only thing
[01:36:07] [SPEAKER_02]: that I could think of is like he's in his head.
[01:36:11] [SPEAKER_02]: So so either they're going Joker with it or they're
[01:36:13] [SPEAKER_02]: going, I guess it's all in his head kind of thing.
[01:36:16] [SPEAKER_06]: It's gonna be interesting to see James Spader on
[01:36:19] [SPEAKER_06]: screen playing that character, which was a
[01:36:22] [SPEAKER_06]: fucking creepy character.
[01:36:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like 10 feet tall.
[01:36:25] [SPEAKER_02]: People hate on that movie.
[01:36:26] [SPEAKER_06]: I love that movie.
[01:36:27] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah.
[01:36:28] [SPEAKER_06]: It's really in a good way.
[01:36:29] [SPEAKER_06]: Like, like, like I love how creepy he was
[01:36:32] [SPEAKER_06]: because it makes him a more off-putting character,
[01:36:36] [SPEAKER_06]: which is kind of what you want out of Vision.
[01:36:38] [SPEAKER_07]: And you have to know how much was introduced by that
[01:36:41] [SPEAKER_07]: movie too.
[01:36:41] [SPEAKER_07]: The Weet Your Weets.
[01:36:42] [SPEAKER_03]: It's such a keystone movie for the whole
[01:36:46] [SPEAKER_03]: universe and I think Ultron was fantastic.
[01:36:48] [SPEAKER_03]: I always love it when you're on Instagram or
[01:36:51] [SPEAKER_03]: something and you see that meme that pops up
[01:36:53] [SPEAKER_03]: when it's a picture of Ultron and say he was
[01:36:56] [SPEAKER_03]: the best villain because he spent five minutes
[01:36:59] [SPEAKER_03]: on the Internet and realized he had to go.
[01:37:04] [SPEAKER_07]: That's good.
[01:37:06] [SPEAKER_07]: That is good.
[01:37:07] [SPEAKER_07]: All right, what do we got next?
[01:37:08] [SPEAKER_07]: Well, all I have to say to that is what the
[01:37:10] [SPEAKER_07]: clock?
[01:37:11] [SPEAKER_07]: What the clock?
[01:37:14] [SPEAKER_07]: The fast food restaurant Chick-fil-A is
[01:37:17] [SPEAKER_07]: looking to launch a streaming service.
[01:37:20] [SPEAKER_06]: Okay, what the clock?
[01:37:21] [SPEAKER_07]: Again, I ask what the clock?
[01:37:23] [SPEAKER_07]: The Chicken Chain has been working with
[01:37:25] [SPEAKER_07]: Hollywood production companies and studios
[01:37:27] [SPEAKER_07]: to create family friendly, mostly unscripted
[01:37:30] [SPEAKER_07]: original shows.
[01:37:30] [SPEAKER_07]: They are also in talks to license and acquire
[01:37:33] [SPEAKER_07]: content according to a source that's pitched
[01:37:34] [SPEAKER_07]: a project.
[01:37:35] [SPEAKER_07]: One program is a game show from Glassman
[01:37:38] [SPEAKER_07]: media of NBC's The Wall fame and Shuka
[01:37:41] [SPEAKER_07]: 23 from Netflix's 13 Reasons Why fame
[01:37:44] [SPEAKER_07]: which has been given a 10 episode order.
[01:37:46] [SPEAKER_07]: The budgets for unscripted are around
[01:37:48] [SPEAKER_07]: $400,000 per half hour sources indicate.
[01:37:52] [SPEAKER_07]: Chick-fil-A is also considering scripted
[01:37:54] [SPEAKER_07]: projects as well as animation.
[01:37:56] [SPEAKER_07]: Top Gear and the X Factor Oloom Brian Gibson
[01:37:58] [SPEAKER_07]: is leading the charge on programming.
[01:38:01] [SPEAKER_07]: Do you have the appetite for Chick-fil-A
[01:38:03] [SPEAKER_07]: as a streaming service?
[01:38:04] [SPEAKER_07]: No.
[01:38:05] [SPEAKER_07]: Or your hands too greasy to pick up the
[01:38:07] [SPEAKER_07]: remote?
[01:38:07] [SPEAKER_07]: No, no, no.
[01:38:09] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm half afraid of what this might be
[01:38:12] [SPEAKER_06]: because famously the execs over at
[01:38:16] [SPEAKER_06]: Chick-fil-A are very hardcore Christians.
[01:38:18] [SPEAKER_07]: This is some dystopian shit.
[01:38:21] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, so I'm kind of like halfway
[01:38:23] [SPEAKER_06]: afraid of what's going to end up on
[01:38:25] [SPEAKER_06]: their streaming service also.
[01:38:27] [SPEAKER_06]: This better not be we're doing anti-woke
[01:38:29] [SPEAKER_06]: content or something.
[01:38:30] [SPEAKER_06]: I also wouldn't pay for a
[01:38:32] [SPEAKER_06]: chicken based streaming service.
[01:38:35] [SPEAKER_06]: No.
[01:38:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Look.
[01:38:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Cheese based streaming services.
[01:38:40] [SPEAKER_03]: I would do that.
[01:38:41] [SPEAKER_03]: What was that?
[01:38:42] [SPEAKER_03]: If it comes with smell-a-vision.
[01:38:44] [SPEAKER_07]: That I might consider.
[01:38:46] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[01:38:47] [SPEAKER_06]: Somebody farts and you smell it on your phone.
[01:38:51] [SPEAKER_07]: KFC has tried to do similar things
[01:38:54] [SPEAKER_07]: and it failed hard.
[01:38:56] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[01:38:56] [SPEAKER_07]: So I'm expecting this to be a similar
[01:38:59] [SPEAKER_07]: situation, but I don't know.
[01:39:02] [SPEAKER_06]: You know what I'm really surprised at?
[01:39:04] [SPEAKER_06]: That McDonald's didn't do it first.
[01:39:06] [SPEAKER_06]: Me too.
[01:39:07] [SPEAKER_06]: Because that's something that McDonald's would do.
[01:39:09] [SPEAKER_07]: Do a Ronald McDonald animated series.
[01:39:11] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, they did that.
[01:39:12] [SPEAKER_06]: They did do that.
[01:39:13] [SPEAKER_06]: You had to get it on VHS tape.
[01:39:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Do a reboot.
[01:39:16] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:39:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Way before your time, she do.
[01:39:20] [SPEAKER_01]: All I have to say is it's foul.
[01:39:24] [SPEAKER_01]: It's foul.
[01:39:26] [SPEAKER_08]: So you're thinking this is going to be like
[01:39:29] [SPEAKER_08]: Christian type content.
[01:39:31] [SPEAKER_08]: That's what I fear is that there are some weird Christian
[01:39:35] [SPEAKER_06]: content because it's Chick-fil-A and that's what they do.
[01:39:39] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[01:39:39] [SPEAKER_08]: Because I was reading it and I was like, OK, wholesome, whatever.
[01:39:42] [SPEAKER_08]: This is like they're making the Hallmark channel.
[01:39:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Family friendly.
[01:39:45] [SPEAKER_07]: Well, still a fairly benign term also makes me think, hold on.
[01:39:50] [SPEAKER_07]: What do you think family friendly needs?
[01:39:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:39:53] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like which family?
[01:39:55] [SPEAKER_07]: Family.
[01:39:56] [SPEAKER_06]: Exactly.
[01:39:57] [SPEAKER_06]: The thing that kind of the other side of that,
[01:40:00] [SPEAKER_06]: VeggieTales Marathon.
[01:40:03] [SPEAKER_06]: The other side of that is that they are getting Sugar 23.
[01:40:08] [SPEAKER_06]: The company that did 13 Reasons Why.
[01:40:10] [SPEAKER_06]: And 13 Reasons Why was a very inclusive show.
[01:40:12] [SPEAKER_06]: So I mean like.
[01:40:13] [SPEAKER_06]: Very inclusive.
[01:40:13] [SPEAKER_06]: Quite dark.
[01:40:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:40:14] [SPEAKER_06]: So it's kind of like I feel like, OK, well at the same time,
[01:40:18] [SPEAKER_06]: if they're willing to go to producers like that,
[01:40:20] [SPEAKER_06]: that they may be making content that's good for everybody and not
[01:40:24] [SPEAKER_06]: just conservatives.
[01:40:25] [SPEAKER_07]: So great.
[01:40:26] [SPEAKER_07]: I do have a pitch for the name though.
[01:40:29] [SPEAKER_07]: I think it should be called Chick-fil-A.
[01:40:31] [SPEAKER_07]: Chick-fil-A.
[01:40:32] [SPEAKER_07]: Chick-fil-A.
[01:40:34] [SPEAKER_07]: I like it.
[01:40:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Patten it now.
[01:40:35] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[01:40:36] [SPEAKER_06]: I like that in the chat.
[01:40:37] [SPEAKER_06]: Multiple people are saying distance nerding needs its own
[01:40:40] [SPEAKER_06]: streaming surface.
[01:40:41] [SPEAKER_07]: Well, you know, we weren't going to announce it now,
[01:40:45] [SPEAKER_07]: but you were forced our hand.
[01:40:48] [SPEAKER_07]: Everyone we would like to announce.
[01:40:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Wait, wait.
[01:40:51] [SPEAKER_02]: We all have to be on couches.
[01:40:52] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, right.
[01:40:53] [SPEAKER_07]: Right.
[01:40:53] [SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
[01:40:53] [SPEAKER_07]: We are moving away from YouTube.
[01:40:57] [SPEAKER_07]: You know, we really, we want to up the production value of our
[01:41:01] [SPEAKER_07]: content.
[01:41:02] [SPEAKER_07]: And so we are moving to our own website.
[01:41:04] [SPEAKER_07]: Nerd.TV.
[01:41:07] [SPEAKER_06]: You're giving somebody on the internet ideas.
[01:41:09] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you are.
[01:41:10] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:41:11] [SPEAKER_06]: James said stream young fillet.
[01:41:17] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, like, you're going to have a all car episode,
[01:41:21] [SPEAKER_06]: like all car show with agent double A F one with.
[01:41:25] [SPEAKER_07]: We're going to do, you know what?
[01:41:27] [SPEAKER_07]: It's going to be like dropout.
[01:41:28] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[01:41:28] [SPEAKER_06]: But it's going to be a whole thing.
[01:41:30] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:41:30] [SPEAKER_06]: It'll be agent double A and,
[01:41:33] [SPEAKER_06]: and my mother-in-law Julie because she's also an F one.
[01:41:36] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to have one.
[01:41:37] [SPEAKER_06]: I mean,
[01:41:38] [SPEAKER_07]: I have like a critical role or dimension 20 style thing.
[01:41:41] [SPEAKER_07]: Go on.
[01:41:42] [SPEAKER_07]: I mean, honestly,
[01:41:43] [SPEAKER_06]: honestly, we could make our own channel.
[01:41:45] [SPEAKER_06]: We have a lot of content and ideas to do it.
[01:41:47] [SPEAKER_06]: You know what?
[01:41:47] [SPEAKER_07]: I this might not be a bad idea.
[01:41:50] [SPEAKER_08]: We'd have adult content as well with double A and his feet
[01:41:55] [SPEAKER_08]: and mandals, you know,
[01:41:56] [SPEAKER_07]: we would stream our only fans directly to.
[01:42:00] [SPEAKER_07]: And you know what?
[01:42:02] [SPEAKER_07]: You know what we would,
[01:42:03] [SPEAKER_07]: you know what we would have to have for that streaming service?
[01:42:05] [SPEAKER_07]: We got more people.
[01:42:07] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh God, we got marriage people.
[01:42:11] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, wait.
[01:42:11] [SPEAKER_06]: Sorry.
[01:42:12] [SPEAKER_06]: That's still there.
[01:42:13] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh wow.
[01:42:14] [SPEAKER_06]: That's where you are.
[01:42:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Yes.
[01:42:18] [SPEAKER_08]: There we go.
[01:42:19] [SPEAKER_06]: I forgot to delete that.
[01:42:22] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh God.
[01:42:23] [SPEAKER_06]: Cosplay building with the delongs.
[01:42:25] [SPEAKER_06]: We have the content.
[01:42:27] [SPEAKER_06]: No, seriously.
[01:42:28] [SPEAKER_06]: This might be a good idea.
[01:42:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Y'all, are we going in on this?
[01:42:33] [SPEAKER_08]: All because of Chick-fil-A.
[01:42:35] [SPEAKER_08]: So you guys,
[01:42:35] [SPEAKER_08]: I think we're going to have to put some more.
[01:42:37] [SPEAKER_08]: Act on Chick-fil-A's name.
[01:42:39] [SPEAKER_08]: Chick-fil-A.
[01:42:40] [SPEAKER_08]: I still eat Chick-fil-A.
[01:42:41] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm just saying the people who I do too.
[01:42:43] [SPEAKER_08]: I feel bad about it, but I do know.
[01:42:46] [SPEAKER_08]: Maybe we need our own fried chicken.
[01:42:47] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm just saying.
[01:42:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And I really enjoy their lemon,
[01:42:51] [SPEAKER_02]: their lemonade ice cream shakes.
[01:42:54] [SPEAKER_06]: That thing is actually really good.
[01:42:56] [SPEAKER_06]: Like surprisingly good.
[01:42:57] [SPEAKER_06]: It's really good.
[01:42:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And I have not had one in years because I don't eat there anymore.
[01:43:02] [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, it's diabetes in the straw.
[01:43:04] [SPEAKER_06]: So I can't drink it.
[01:43:05] [SPEAKER_07]: I barely had any food today.
[01:43:07] [SPEAKER_07]: So I don't know why.
[01:43:09] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't know why we're talking about this.
[01:43:10] [SPEAKER_07]: Anyway, we've got merch people.
[01:43:12] [SPEAKER_08]: If you're not spending money on food,
[01:43:14] [SPEAKER_08]: you can spend your money on merch because we don't have that.
[01:43:17] [SPEAKER_08]: But we do have shirt.
[01:43:19] [SPEAKER_08]: And so can you.
[01:43:20] [SPEAKER_08]: DM us at distance nerding.
[01:43:23] [SPEAKER_08]: Give us your size.
[01:43:24] [SPEAKER_08]: Let us know what shirt you're looking for.
[01:43:25] [SPEAKER_08]: The logo black shirt or the charcoal gray character shirt.
[01:43:29] [SPEAKER_08]: That is not Deadpool.
[01:43:31] [SPEAKER_08]: Officially don't Sue us, Rain Reynolds.
[01:43:34] [SPEAKER_08]: That's me.
[01:43:34] [SPEAKER_08]: 20 bucks each or 25.
[01:43:38] [SPEAKER_08]: If we got to ship it to you, come get some.
[01:43:40] [SPEAKER_08]: If you want one shirt.
[01:43:41] [SPEAKER_02]: That's bargain basement prices there people.
[01:43:44] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[01:43:45] [SPEAKER_08]: Except for in California.
[01:43:47] [SPEAKER_08]: We don't have basements.
[01:43:48] [SPEAKER_07]: But yes, it is.
[01:43:50] [SPEAKER_07]: It is bargain San Andreas fault.
[01:43:54] [SPEAKER_06]: Okay, people will go with that.
[01:43:56] [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
[01:43:56] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, ladies and gentlemen, let's talk schedules here.
[01:43:59] [SPEAKER_06]: Mondays game streams on Twitch.
[01:44:01] [SPEAKER_06]: You can be in the chat with agent double a talking all the smack.
[01:44:05] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm the only one between you and graveyard because there's people
[01:44:10] [SPEAKER_06]: that show up in the chat, but you guys are the only ones that
[01:44:12] [SPEAKER_06]: actually use the AI and it's hilarious because the.
[01:44:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I think everybody's afraid to.
[01:44:17] [SPEAKER_06]: James shows up occasionally.
[01:44:19] [SPEAKER_06]: He does.
[01:44:19] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, come on man.
[01:44:20] [SPEAKER_06]: See, I want to say the funniest AI thing that goes in
[01:44:24] [SPEAKER_06]: there is when graveyard pitches movies to to AI.
[01:44:30] [SPEAKER_06]: Nick Cage, Nick Cage, Nick Cage.
[01:44:32] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:44:33] [SPEAKER_06]: And AI Nick Cage will come up with the weirdest movies.
[01:44:38] [SPEAKER_06]: But it's, but it's so Nick Cage like everything about this AI
[01:44:44] [SPEAKER_06]: and the delivery is very Nick Cage.
[01:44:46] [SPEAKER_06]: He just like starts to kind of like randomly like soft screaming.
[01:44:50] [SPEAKER_06]: I think that's what Nick Cage does.
[01:44:52] [SPEAKER_06]: He saw.
[01:44:53] [SPEAKER_06]: We're going to watch this movie and this movie is going to
[01:44:56] [SPEAKER_06]: have all the crazy things in it like soft yelling.
[01:45:00] [SPEAKER_06]: It's like the softest voice we screaming at the top of his lungs.
[01:45:04] [SPEAKER_04]: It's weird.
[01:45:07] [SPEAKER_06]: Yes, Mondays game streams from 12 from eight to 12 currently
[01:45:11] [SPEAKER_06]: playing Mad Max.
[01:45:12] [SPEAKER_06]: I am going to try and the game that never ends.
[01:45:16] [SPEAKER_06]: No, I'm on the last mission right now.
[01:45:17] [SPEAKER_06]: So I like the whole thing is I'm playing for a year.
[01:45:21] [SPEAKER_06]: I know right?
[01:45:22] [SPEAKER_06]: It is because it warns you that if you play the if you play
[01:45:26] [SPEAKER_06]: the last mission, you can't do anything else.
[01:45:28] [SPEAKER_06]: Right.
[01:45:29] [SPEAKER_06]: So it's like one of those things.
[01:45:30] [SPEAKER_06]: So I'm like I said, I'm going to try and max my car out to
[01:45:33] [SPEAKER_06]: that.
[01:45:33] [SPEAKER_06]: Max my car.
[01:45:34] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to try and max out my car because it says that
[01:45:36] [SPEAKER_06]: you need to have all the it's it's it suggests that
[01:45:41] [SPEAKER_06]: you max out your weapons.
[01:45:42] [SPEAKER_06]: So I'm trying to max everything out on the car.
[01:45:43] [SPEAKER_06]: So in that way it's easier.
[01:45:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Like massfuck to right.
[01:45:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it really is.
[01:45:49] [SPEAKER_06]: And and beat the game because Monday I'm probably going to
[01:45:53] [SPEAKER_06]: do that last mission and then we're going to start Star Wars
[01:45:55] [SPEAKER_06]: Outlaws.
[01:45:56] [SPEAKER_06]: Not gotten good reviews.
[01:45:58] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, I already bought it might as well play it.
[01:45:59] [SPEAKER_06]: All right.
[01:46:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:46:00] [SPEAKER_07]: Well, it's you have to sort out are those reviews legitimate
[01:46:03] [SPEAKER_07]: or are they true?
[01:46:05] [SPEAKER_06]: I kind of would rather play the game myself to figure it
[01:46:08] [SPEAKER_06]: out plus, you know, then you can actually see the people
[01:46:11] [SPEAKER_07]: who are just hitting on Ubisoft or on we have a female
[01:46:13] [SPEAKER_07]: protagonist, whatever.
[01:46:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Now, the other thing is I'm really just playing that game to
[01:46:19] [SPEAKER_06]: kill time until Epic Mickey comes out next month.
[01:46:21] [SPEAKER_06]: So because they're re-releasing Epic Mickey on Xbox Series X
[01:46:24] [SPEAKER_06]: and I think that's amazing.
[01:46:26] [SPEAKER_06]: So with that right there now Tuesdays the show you're
[01:46:28] [SPEAKER_06]: watching right now the download from 6 30 to 8 30.
[01:46:31] [SPEAKER_06]: We're actually not that far off.
[01:46:32] [SPEAKER_06]: We're not like super, super late.
[01:46:34] [SPEAKER_06]: And then Thursday's the build from six to eight this
[01:46:37] [SPEAKER_06]: week agent double A is going to be on the build again.
[01:46:40] [SPEAKER_06]: So you're getting a double dose of agent double A this
[01:46:43] [SPEAKER_06]: week.
[01:46:43] [SPEAKER_06]: But we are also going to be interviewing Joey Gaynor.
[01:46:48] [SPEAKER_06]: He is a comedian as well as somebody who is related to
[01:46:55] [SPEAKER_06]: famous wrestlers specifically.
[01:46:56] [SPEAKER_06]: He is the cousin of Adrian Adonis.
[01:47:00] [SPEAKER_06]: So we maybe speculate.
[01:47:01] [SPEAKER_06]: We may speculate on the death of Adrian Adonis in the chat.
[01:47:05] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I know right.
[01:47:06] [SPEAKER_06]: But we're going to have him on this week.
[01:47:08] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm currently building the Concorde the Concorde jet.
[01:47:12] [SPEAKER_06]: So that's going to be fun going through that.
[01:47:14] [SPEAKER_06]: I got through 10 bags in two weeks.
[01:47:16] [SPEAKER_06]: So we're we're moving through this thing pretty, pretty quickly.
[01:47:20] [SPEAKER_06]: So there's there's that right there and that's our schedule for the week.
[01:47:23] [SPEAKER_06]: Of course, for anybody who has been paying attention,
[01:47:26] [SPEAKER_06]: we have been releasing daily episodes of comment conversation.
[01:47:32] [SPEAKER_06]: And right now we're re-releasing some of the older episodes.
[01:47:36] [SPEAKER_06]: But as of next week, we'll be back on track to releasing all the new episodes.
[01:47:40] [SPEAKER_08]: So beyond so much fun.
[01:47:42] [SPEAKER_08]: I love having a comic conversation every morning.
[01:47:46] [SPEAKER_08]: It makes my heart warm.
[01:47:48] [SPEAKER_08]: Plus, it's nice to go back and hear all these interviews.
[01:47:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Like I listened to the one from Matt Aguilar, the one that just came out today.
[01:47:54] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:47:55] [SPEAKER_08]: And it's such a good conversation, you know, with Matt Aguilar from
[01:47:59] [SPEAKER_08]: Comic Book Nation, somebody who's like a journalist doing what we do,
[01:48:04] [SPEAKER_08]: but getting paid for it.
[01:48:06] [SPEAKER_08]: Like, oh my God.
[01:48:08] [SPEAKER_08]: So good.
[01:48:09] [SPEAKER_06]: He does what we do, but better.
[01:48:11] [SPEAKER_06]: Exactly.
[01:48:13] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:48:14] [SPEAKER_02]: He goes on less tangents than we do.
[01:48:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I'm sorry.
[01:48:18] [SPEAKER_08]: It's fine.
[01:48:19] [SPEAKER_08]: And the Sean Astin one was really good too.
[01:48:22] [SPEAKER_08]: I really liked your conversation with him.
[01:48:24] [SPEAKER_08]: His stories.
[01:48:25] [SPEAKER_08]: I loved how he answered a question.
[01:48:27] [SPEAKER_08]: It was never like a direct answer.
[01:48:30] [SPEAKER_08]: It was a story being told to get you to an answer or get you to a joke.
[01:48:35] [SPEAKER_06]: That was so funny.
[01:48:36] [SPEAKER_06]: My favorite thing like, and this is just a preview for everybody out there.
[01:48:40] [SPEAKER_06]: But my favorite thing that he did was when we asked him,
[01:48:43] [SPEAKER_06]: what was that moment that where you said, oh, I made it.
[01:48:47] [SPEAKER_06]: And he tells like four stories because he tells a story.
[01:48:50] [SPEAKER_06]: And then at the end of the story, well, that wasn't it.
[01:48:52] [SPEAKER_06]: So let's move on to this.
[01:48:53] [SPEAKER_06]: And like, he's like each time it's like, oh, yeah, this movie.
[01:48:57] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:48:57] [SPEAKER_06]: He tells a goonie story that he tells a Rudy story that he tells
[01:49:00] [SPEAKER_06]: a Lord of the Rings story.
[01:49:01] [SPEAKER_06]: And it was just like the way that he goes about it is like, well,
[01:49:05] [SPEAKER_06]: that wasn't it.
[01:49:06] [SPEAKER_06]: And then this happened and that wasn't it.
[01:49:09] [SPEAKER_06]: That was the moment that I knew that was famous.
[01:49:12] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[01:49:12] [SPEAKER_02]: It was cool.
[01:49:13] [SPEAKER_02]: When he talked about his mom, that was really fun.
[01:49:15] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, not fun, but it was, it was nice.
[01:49:18] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think I liked how he answered the,
[01:49:21] [SPEAKER_02]: the Frodo was the hero.
[01:49:23] [SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, but Sam stayed and like he went into this
[01:49:26] [SPEAKER_02]: whole long thing about that.
[01:49:28] [SPEAKER_02]: And I just thought that was really neat.
[01:49:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[01:49:30] [SPEAKER_02]: That's my Sean Aston moment.
[01:49:32] [SPEAKER_06]: Unfortunately that wasn't in the episode because I was in that
[01:49:35] [SPEAKER_02]: moment where like, good, then it's just mine and yeah,
[01:49:38] [SPEAKER_06]: because my computer ran out of memory in the middle of the
[01:49:42] [SPEAKER_06]: interview.
[01:49:42] [SPEAKER_02]: So well, we were like live streaming the whole thing.
[01:49:46] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it wasn't like we had a lot going on that weekend.
[01:49:49] [SPEAKER_06]: So with that being said, guys, schedule is up now.
[01:49:53] [SPEAKER_06]: Let's get into these plugables because I need everybody to
[01:49:56] [SPEAKER_06]: plug themselves here.
[01:49:58] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to have you plug both you and your mother.
[01:50:01] [SPEAKER_06]: So yes, all right.
[01:50:03] [SPEAKER_02]: So I am.
[01:50:05] [SPEAKER_07]: I am s hd studios on YouTube and on Instagram.

[01:50:13] [SPEAKER_07]: I am also on phrase channel.
[01:50:15] [SPEAKER_07]: We have a little series called classify where we take your
[01:50:18] [SPEAKER_07]: favorite pop culture characters and place them into their
[01:50:20] [SPEAKER_07]: respective D and D classes.
[01:50:22] [SPEAKER_07]: A journal, a journals of the peoples will be the series
[01:50:26] [SPEAKER_07]: replace journals of the classes.
[01:50:27] [SPEAKER_07]: This series will go over the different peoples or species
[01:50:30] [SPEAKER_07]: that inhabit the worlds of D and D.
[01:50:33] [SPEAKER_07]: In the meantime, we are in the process of filming season
[01:50:36] [SPEAKER_07]: two of classified.
[01:50:38] [SPEAKER_07]: I am also in the disinterditing sphere as you can see.
[01:50:41] [SPEAKER_07]: I am on the download on Tuesdays.
[01:50:42] [SPEAKER_07]: The very sure you're watching right now to build on
[01:50:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Thursdays and I'm on Kyra cave productions for the

[01:50:50] [SPEAKER_07]: new order, which again will be coming out at some
[01:50:53] [SPEAKER_07]: point soon.
[01:50:54] [SPEAKER_07]: All right.
[01:50:56] [SPEAKER_07]: Jen, what should you say?
