[00:01:24] And an office joints joke. And zoinks! He's getting canceled, it's Young Phil and we're here to nerd together.
[00:01:34] Together.
[00:01:35] 100%.
[00:01:35] That was like the closest we've gotten!
[00:01:37] I know, I'm probably getting canceled, it's probably gonna happen. But it is what it is.
[00:01:42] We're talking about anything, pop culture news, music, food, wrestling, comics, whatever you're nerding out on, we wanna talk about it.

[00:02:04] I don't think filleroutable.
[00:02:06] Filleroutable?
[00:02:06] Yeah, filleroutable.
[00:02:07] Like a PDF? Like a form? You mean a form?
[00:02:09] Yeah, no, form.
[00:02:11] Shut up.
[00:02:13] It's nerding at AOL.com and we will read it live on the show.
[00:02:17] Well guys, how are you doing? How's your week been?
[00:02:21] It's good. We're ready to get this going. There's so much to talk about, so much news.
[00:02:25] Absolutely.
[00:02:25] I currently have the perfect curl and so I feel like that's a major accomplishment in my life.
[00:02:31] I like it.
[00:02:32] So, just one though. Not my whole hair. Just one curl is perfect and that's it.
[00:02:36] Yeah. Real quick, say Wong in the chat said,
[00:02:38] Phil, you will cheer my Yankees if it's us versus the Dodgers.
[00:02:41] He's not wrong. I'll probably cheer on the Yankees versus the Dodgers.
[00:02:45] That's true. Absolutely true.
[00:02:47] But...
[00:02:47] I don't watch baseball.
[00:02:48] Ah, well, you're missing out.
[00:02:50] With that being said, ladies and gentlemen, you have now stumbled onto the best or probably the worst kept secret on all of the internet.
[00:02:59] Ladies and gentlemen, you are now watching The Download.
[00:03:16] Yes, we are here. It's download time.
[00:03:19] Yes, we are.
[00:03:20] Yeah.
[00:03:20] Absolutely.
[00:03:21] We're here.
[00:03:21] All right. Well, ladies and gentlemen, let's jump right into this.
[00:03:24] This week on deck, we've got Comic Creator Spotlight.
[00:03:27] Ooh, I like it.
[00:03:28] Featuring J-Photos.
[00:03:30] That's right.
[00:03:31] This is going to be fun.
[00:03:32] It's going to have some fun times here.
[00:03:33] The Geek End Update.
[00:03:34] We know the way to San Jose.
[00:03:37] We do.
[00:03:38] We absolutely do.
[00:03:39] Starting rumors.
[00:03:40] We got a multiverse amount of rumors today.
[00:03:43] It is a lot.
[00:03:45] Yes, we have a lot.
[00:03:46] And also a lot of what we have capping off the end of the show.
[00:03:50] The download.
[00:03:51] All the tasty headlines on a delicious news platter.
[00:03:54] That's right.
[00:03:55] But before we jump into all of that, we got a couple of shout outs that we got to do, right?
[00:04:00] So let me get a shout out.
[00:04:04] Shout out to B-Hot.
[00:04:06] Oh, I guess we're going to do this one first.
[00:04:08] Oh, no.
[00:04:08] Shout out to Dubby.
[00:04:09] We'll Dubby it up.
[00:04:10] What's Dubby it up?
[00:04:11] Dubby is an emerging brand of energy drinks created to help focus concentration reaction

[00:04:40] Use code nerding 10 for 10% off at checkout.
[00:04:44] Jamez needs some Dubby right now.
[00:04:46] I need it.
[00:04:47] We all need it.
[00:04:48] You probably should.
[00:04:48] I feel like any one of us that says something that does the Dubby shout out usually needs
[00:04:55] Dubby by the end of it.
[00:04:57] Yep.
[00:04:57] And I'm the one that has it all.
[00:04:59] Oh, no, this is a Neba elixir.
[00:05:01] It's a sour gummy bear.
[00:05:03] Ooh, really good flavor.
[00:05:04] I like that one actually.
[00:05:05] That's how I describe you a lot of the times when people are like, hey, what's going on
[00:05:08] with Phil?
[00:05:08] I'm like, he's sour gummy bear.
[00:05:10] That's it.
[00:05:10] An absolute sour gummy bear.
[00:05:12] Absolutely.
[00:05:13] That's an insult now.
[00:05:14] So Jamez shouting out one of our friends of the show.
[00:05:17] Go ahead and shout that out here.
[00:05:19] Oh, shout out to Beehive Collectibles and our good friend.
[00:05:23] So it's a great local shop here in Sacramento.
[00:05:28] It's good and bad.
[00:05:29] So here they're shutting down the physical location, but they're going to continue to
[00:05:32] do cons and all that stuff.
[00:05:33] So it's not like Beehive is gone, gone, but their physical location is gone.
[00:05:39] They're right in the middle of downtown midtown area of Sacramento, but lots of memories there.
[00:05:44] I remember learning about Beehive and have a long time ago from some friends at work.
[00:05:50] And then we got to know Av and he's been great.
[00:05:53] Yeah, we like bonded right away.
[00:05:55] He's a fellow podcaster collector.
[00:05:58] So we know him.
[00:05:59] We know him like we were like friends from the jump.
[00:06:01] Like as soon as we met.
[00:06:02] Remember, we you guys interviewed Brandon McKinney at Beehive Collectibles way back in the day.
[00:06:07] Me and buddy back in the day.
[00:06:09] Yeah.
[00:06:09] When we were still doing.
[00:06:12] Yeah.
[00:06:12] And it was it's it's always been like a community spot.
[00:06:16] Like you go and you don't spend 10 minutes in Beehive.
[00:06:20] You spend like two hours in Beehive just looking around shopping, talking to Av,
[00:06:25] talking to all the patrons that come in and having conversations.
[00:06:28] It was such a good hang.
[00:06:29] It's that's what it was.
[00:06:31] It was such a good hang.
[00:06:32] And I'm going to miss that part of of Beehive.
[00:06:34] You know, in fact, good friends of the show, Lawrence and Diego Iriarte.
[00:06:38] They had their like comic book premiere there at Beehive.
[00:06:42] So when for for Lumpia for Lumpia with a vengeance came out, they did the premiere at at Beehive because we're all Filipino.
[00:06:49] Right.
[00:06:50] Kind of.
[00:06:50] We are.
[00:06:50] Everybody's Filipino.
[00:06:51] We're all Filipino.
[00:06:52] I feel like I am.
[00:06:53] You are.
[00:06:54] You're Asian by association.
[00:06:56] So that works.
[00:06:56] I really.
[00:06:57] Yeah.
[00:06:57] Like Asian by marriage.
[00:06:59] Really.
[00:06:59] Right.
[00:07:00] Right.
[00:07:00] Exactly.
[00:07:01] But like you're like the Filipino equivalent to like the Spanish for us.
[00:07:05] Well, I guess the Spanish are the Filipino equivalent of the Spanish for the Filipinos.
[00:07:09] You guys have been conquered more than once.
[00:07:12] Gosh, I'm sorry.
[00:07:14] I don't know how we got on a history.
[00:07:17] I don't know how the entire world still like uses Filipino martial arts is like everything.
[00:07:23] So Beehive collectibles have you guys are awesome.
[00:07:26] We love you.
[00:07:27] We'll miss you.
[00:07:27] We'll find you at SAC anime and SAC Comic Con and all the local cons.
[00:07:32] So it's going to be awesome.
[00:07:33] We'll still see you.
[00:07:34] Is Tim Tebow Filipino?
[00:07:35] No, he he was actually born.
[00:07:37] Well, kind of.
[00:07:38] He was born in the Philippines.
[00:07:39] Okay.
[00:07:39] All right.
[00:07:39] Well, let's before I go off on a tangent about Tim Tebow and football, let's let's
[00:07:45] get right to this.
[00:07:46] Ladies and gentlemen, we have a segment that we're bringing back.
[00:07:50] We haven't done in a little while here.
[00:07:51] It's time for comic creator spotlight.
[00:07:54] All right.
[00:07:57] Creator spotlight.
[00:07:58] You know, it'd be nice if we actually have like a jingle for it.
[00:08:01] But ladies and gentlemen, did it.
[00:08:02] I know.
[00:08:04] Well, ladies and gentlemen, on today's comic creator spotlight, we have an amazing treat
[00:08:09] for you a multi award winning comic veteran.
[00:08:11] He's worked on such titles as spawn transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, lock and key
[00:08:16] 30 days of night, as well as working on creature creation for such shows as Winona Earp and the
[00:08:22] haunting of Hill house on Netflix here to talk about his current Kickstarter.
[00:08:25] Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome with a hearty round of applause.
[00:08:29] The stupid talented Jay photos.
[00:08:36] Yay.
[00:08:37] Thank you.
[00:08:37] Thank you.
[00:08:38] That was a that was a good introduction.
[00:08:39] Absolutely, man.
[00:08:40] We're happy to do it.
[00:08:42] I mean, your resume is ridiculous, man.
[00:08:45] Well, I've been working in the industry for what over 25 years now.
[00:08:50] So I've been lucky and been able to work on some really cool stuff and work with collaborate
[00:08:56] some with some really cool artists.
[00:08:58] So I've been very lucky.
[00:09:00] Absolutely, man.
[00:09:01] So I mean, on the show itself, we have a segment called growing up geeky.
[00:09:07] Okay.
[00:09:07] And we make because we're going to have you on the show in the future here and we'll
[00:09:11] probably rehash this.
[00:09:12] But what's something that you geeked out on as a kid?
[00:09:14] Oh, wow.
[00:09:15] Well, I don't know how old you guys are, but when I grew up in the 70s, it was, you
[00:09:21] know, Saturday morning cartoons were the big thing.
[00:09:23] Right.
[00:09:24] So and then like whenever a Godzilla would show up, I think there would be like the Saturday
[00:09:30] morning cartoons and then Godzilla would run like around 11, 12, one o'clock or something
[00:09:35] like that.
[00:09:36] I can't remember.
[00:09:37] I always knew that there was like some of some Godzilla movie, something that ran, but
[00:09:41] I would geek over, geek out on on all like, you know, Sigma and the sea monster,
[00:09:46] um, uh, like land of the lost, uh, the bugaloo's, uh, Hanna Barbera, baby.
[00:09:52] Yeah.
[00:09:52] All the Hanna Barbera stuff.
[00:09:55] And, um, yeah, that was my big geek out when I was a kid, you know, and then, and then,
[00:09:59] then, you know, star Wars just got into play in the late, in the late seventies.
[00:10:03] So, uh, I was lucky enough.
[00:10:05] I lived like a stone stroke from Kmart.
[00:10:08] So I was able to always go over there and pick up any toys or whatever kind of stuff.
[00:10:12] Nice.
[00:10:13] That was my big geek, my yeah.
[00:10:14] Big, just watching cartoons and Godzilla movies basically.
[00:10:17] So as a kid, were you in the comic books or like, how did you kind of like get into
[00:10:21] the, no, I mean, in a nutshell, like I got into, um, heavy metal magazine cause of my
[00:10:28] father.
[00:10:29] Uh, my dad, uh, would buy, um, would go into a mag magazine shop back in New Jersey and he
[00:10:36] used to buy the heavy metals and he wouldn't let me look at them cause there was newly in
[00:10:40] them.
[00:10:41] Right.
[00:10:41] But I would always sneak cause he always had a stack of them in the, in the attic or whatever.
[00:10:45] So I would always sneak up there and look through them or whatever.
[00:10:47] And that was like my first introduction to, I want to say comics.
[00:10:51] Uh, and then, but I was never interested at like, I remember like kiss comics, but I was
[00:10:56] never really interested, uh, in the mainstream, uh, comic books because they were kind of stagnant.
[00:11:02] I want to say back then they were just, they weren't as visually appealing as like say heavy
[00:11:07] metal was heavy metal was all like kind of painted and more dynamic in a way for me.
[00:11:13] And compared to like, you know, Spider-Man or any of that other stuff, which I love Spider-Man,
[00:11:18] you know, who didn't love Spider-Man as a kid.
[00:11:20] But, um, but yeah, I was nothing really caught my attention until, uh, I moved out to Arizona and I was
[00:11:28] introduced to spawn.
[00:11:29] And then I picked up a spawn comic book and I'm like, Oh, well things have changed, you
[00:11:34] know?
[00:11:35] Right.
[00:11:35] Darker, more violent.
[00:11:37] Yeah.
[00:11:37] And then luckily, uh, you know, a few years later I ended up working with the guy.
[00:11:41] So, wow.
[00:11:42] That's awesome.
[00:11:43] Yeah.
[00:11:43] Yeah.
[00:11:43] So kind of, how did, how did you hook up with Todd McFarlane, uh, getting into spawn and
[00:11:48] kind of ID?
[00:11:49] Uh, I can go on forever about all this, but, uh, I had a buddy of mine who was working with
[00:11:56] Todd, uh, uh, coloring, doing coloring for, uh, his books.
[00:12:01] And I would tag along with him in the office and eventually I started off as like a inking
[00:12:08] and more traditional.
[00:12:10] I wasn't really into the computer stuff back then too much, but then, uh, I kind of saw the
[00:12:15] writing on the wall with how computers were coming into play with all the, uh, coloring
[00:12:19] and graphics and lettering, everything.
[00:12:23] So I'm like, I should really start learning this stuff.
[00:12:25] So I picked up a computer and I started learning more and more about it.
[00:12:29] And at the same time I was buddies with all these guys.
[00:12:31] So when an opening came, I was, I was able to jump in and then was working with Todd,
[00:12:37] um, in the office with in his office here in Tempe, uh, for probably like three, three
[00:12:44] or four years around there.
[00:12:46] And then I broke off.
[00:12:48] Like he moved a lot of his company all here and he's like, well, I don't have room for
[00:12:53] you guys.
[00:12:53] Why don't you go freelance and you're still working for me, but you can do whatever you
[00:12:56] want.
[00:12:57] I'm like, okay.
[00:12:58] You know?
[00:12:58] So, and then I was kept working on salmon Twitch and then I started working with other publishers
[00:13:03] and, and kind of just, you know, whatever.
[00:13:06] Yeah.
[00:13:06] I mean, it's a ton of, I mean, we could do a whole, a big, we'll save that for the next
[00:13:11] show.
[00:13:12] Yeah.
[00:13:13] And I mean, that's just kind of giving the tease right here.
[00:13:15] Cause I definitely, uh, kind of, I know a lot of the story and I'm just like, oh man,
[00:13:19] I, I want to hear more.
[00:13:20] I want to do more right now, but we're here to talk about a Kickstarter right now.
[00:13:24] So let's, uh, let's, let's talk about your current Kickstarter.
[00:13:27] What, uh, what do you have on me?
[00:13:28] Let me jump in and kind of do this.
[00:13:30] We only have like, I think 11 days, uh, left for this, this campaign.
[00:13:35] I've been getting into Kickstarter in the past few years now and I've put out, uh, I think
[00:13:40] this is my ninth Kickstarter campaign.
[00:13:42] And this one's a little different.
[00:13:44] Um, normally I'll put out like, uh, more specialty books, like hardcovers and collections
[00:13:49] and this, that, and the other thing.
[00:13:50] But then this one is a little bit different.
[00:13:53] I don't know if you're, if you're putting up a, um, a link or whatever, but we're doing
[00:13:57] these like really high.
[00:13:58] I got a, I got one right here.
[00:13:59] So we're doing like these really high end, uh, puzzles, which are based off our art for
[00:14:05] from the, from the comic books.
[00:14:06] And what's kind of cool.
[00:14:07] These aren't like your traditional grandma's puzzles.
[00:14:10] You know, these are like really nice packaging.
[00:14:13] And, uh, um, there's a whole video of me showing you everything that's comes in this box, but,
[00:14:19] uh, you know, you get all the puzzle pieces in a bag and you get a poster of the art that
[00:14:25] comes with it too.
[00:14:26] And then the design of the box is really cool.
[00:14:29] Like we have all this kind of spot gloss of all the line art from the comic book in there.
[00:14:34] And what's kind of cool and unique is that you can order this puzzle and you're like,
[00:14:40] well, Jay, I don't know what rising rebels is, or, you know, whatever.
[00:14:43] Uh, you can order the puzzle with the graphic design with the graphic novel, or you can get
[00:14:49] the graphic novel and all the individual comic books.
[00:14:53] So, so if you're the, you know, if you're like, Hey, this really, I'm into horror.
[00:14:56] I like puzzles or whatever.
[00:14:58] I want to get the graphic novel.
[00:14:59] You can get it.
[00:15:00] You bundle it.
[00:15:01] Right.
[00:15:01] And then I'm a completist.
[00:15:02] I want all the floppy comic books.
[00:15:04] I mean, all the floppy books are in the graphic novel, but, but, uh, yeah.
[00:15:09] So it was kind of a unique thing that, you know, you can, I'm just kind of branching out
[00:15:13] and trying different things and products and stuff like that.
[00:15:17] So I saw this company that was making these really high end, um, customizable, uh, puzzle
[00:15:23] sets or whatever.
[00:15:24] And I'm like, Oh man, I could do some really cool stuff with that.
[00:15:27] And then I want to do a whole series, you know, based off, you know, all of our other,
[00:15:31] uh, IPs to like 68 and Gorgon and all overall other stuff and customize them all to make them
[00:15:38] like really cool.
[00:15:39] Like for the 68 one, I want to do, make it look like an army box, uh, like an ammo box.
[00:15:44] And, uh, the bag is like a burlap bag that comes in it.
[00:15:48] And so I'm able to customize these things to make them like really, really cool, you know,
[00:15:52] rather than just like your standard.
[00:15:54] So they're more of like a collector item too.
[00:15:56] Right.
[00:15:56] Yeah.
[00:15:57] And they're just like high ends, you know, even like the, the, the puzzle pieces, like
[00:16:01] normally, uh, you get the puzzles that are just, um, the great chipboard backing, you know
[00:16:08] what I mean?
[00:16:08] So this company, you can, we could customize it and like, I can have like black, I can
[00:16:13] have red, I can have like different color boards, you know what I mean?
[00:16:16] So I can customize it all around.
[00:16:18] So it's kind of neat to something different.
[00:16:21] Right.
[00:16:21] You know?
[00:16:21] So yeah, that is, that is different.
[00:16:23] I've never seen somebody put it, put out like a puzzle like this, but, and I love puzzles.
[00:16:28] I was going to ask like, what made you think, okay, what can we do puzzle?
[00:16:32] Cause I mean, I think it was, uh, cause I think I bat, I saw cause I, I, I, I, I
[00:16:38] I'm not a big puzzle guy, but I have puzzles.
[00:16:40] Right.
[00:16:40] But cause like every time I start making a puzzle, one of my cats comes up and shits
[00:16:44] on it or something.
[00:16:45] Excuse me.
[00:16:46] I'm fine.
[00:16:46] You can say what you want, man.
[00:16:48] You're good.
[00:16:48] Poops on it or does something on it.
[00:16:50] You know what I mean?
[00:16:51] Get a new cat.
[00:16:52] That's not.
[00:16:53] And, um, do you, do you tell him he's an asshole or like, Oh yeah.
[00:16:56] Yeah.
[00:16:57] Every day.
[00:16:58] Yeah.
[00:16:58] It's like, dude, your dick get go away.
[00:17:00] Yeah.
[00:17:00] They're always doing something, you know, you know, cats are, but so, um, no, I think I saw this
[00:17:07] company that was doing these like kind of nicer sets, you know?
[00:17:12] And then I'm like, Hey, and I contacted him.
[00:17:14] I said, Hey, I want to, I want to do some, like, can I customize this?
[00:17:17] Can I do this?
[00:17:17] Can I do this?
[00:17:18] Can I do spot gloss?
[00:17:20] Can I do, you know, can I pick the colors of the bags?
[00:17:22] Can I, you know, put my logo on the bag, the puzzle bag itself.
[00:17:26] And they're like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:17:27] You know?
[00:17:27] And I'm like, Oh, cool.
[00:17:28] So this kind of like opens up this whole, you know, uh, realm of like really making this a
[00:17:35] really high end, nice product.
[00:17:37] You know what I mean?
[00:17:38] Rather than your kind of your standard, you know, Walmart brand kind of a puzzle when this
[00:17:42] is more like a, an art, we call them our premium artist edition puzzles.
[00:17:47] So we're taking art from our, from our comic books and making these like really nice high
[00:17:53] end collector puzzles, if you want to call them.
[00:17:56] So.
[00:17:56] Yeah.
[00:17:56] I think it's awesome.
[00:17:57] And I love that you don't have to like ruin the actual like puzzle container.
[00:18:03] Like it actually opens and you can get it.
[00:18:06] Yeah.
[00:18:06] I mean, I showed it somewhat quickly, but if you go to the, if you go to the, uh, the campaign
[00:18:12] now, there's like a full, uh, video of me showing you this in like full detail, but
[00:18:18] yeah, I mean, it has a magnetic closure on it.
[00:18:20] Nice.
[00:18:21] So it closes, you know, with a magnet here to me, that's worth the price.
[00:18:24] Yeah.
[00:18:25] Yeah.
[00:18:25] So, and it's not priced.
[00:18:27] It's not overly priced either.
[00:18:29] I mean, compared to like when I was pricing these things out and I was going to like,
[00:18:33] uh, like shops and whatever, and looking at something not even comparable to this.
[00:18:37] Cause there were mostly just boxes that you just open up like a regular and they were
[00:18:41] like $30, you know, but mine's $25 and it comes with all this extra stuff.
[00:18:46] You know, like I said, uh, the, the poster and you know, all these little, uh, nice, nicer
[00:18:51] things that come with it.
[00:18:52] And then also we got all these giveaways and everything that we're doing with the campaign.
[00:18:56] So you can get all this, uh, rising rebels, uh, swag with it.
[00:19:00] And, um, yeah.
[00:19:02] So, I mean, it's, uh, it's just fun.
[00:19:04] It's a, it's a fun thing to do with just stretching your, your, your, your property or whatever you're
[00:19:10] creating into something different, you know?
[00:19:12] Yeah.
[00:19:12] And the, the, the cover art is amazing, man.
[00:19:15] That is done by Clayton crane.
[00:19:17] I don't know if you know, you guys know Clayton crane.
[00:19:19] Uh, we do not.
[00:19:20] All right.
[00:19:20] He's done a lot of Marvel stuff like, um, ghost rider and venom and so, uh, he's got a really
[00:19:28] good fan base.
[00:19:29] Uh, him and I go way back into McFarland.
[00:19:31] He kind of started the same year as me.
[00:19:34] Uh, and we started working on, uh, curse of spawn together.
[00:19:37] So him and I have known each other for years and years and years.
[00:19:40] So, uh, I asked, I asked him to do me a favor and like, Hey, help me out with a cover.
[00:19:44] And we kind of collabed on it with another guy of ours too.
[00:19:47] So it's like a, it's kind of a mashup between.
[00:19:50] Three of us messing around with this art.
[00:19:52] So, Oh, I'm familiar with his work.
[00:19:54] I just looked at his name.
[00:19:55] Okay.
[00:19:56] That's amazing.
[00:19:56] Yeah.
[00:19:57] Sorry, Phil, go ahead.
[00:19:58] No, no worries.
[00:19:58] I'm saying I'm, I'm, I just looked up Clayton crane and I'm looking up.
[00:20:01] Oh no.
[00:20:02] I know a lot of this.
[00:20:03] Yeah.
[00:20:04] You guys know him.
[00:20:04] He's been around.
[00:20:05] Yeah, definitely.
[00:20:06] Yeah.
[00:20:06] Man.
[00:20:07] I'm on the Kickstarter page and I'm looking at the price points.
[00:20:11] Oh my gosh.
[00:20:12] $25 just for the, for the puzzle.
[00:20:15] Yeah.
[00:20:15] Dude.
[00:20:15] That's like cheaper than getting a puzzle at target.
[00:20:18] Yeah.
[00:20:19] Let alone making it a collect.
[00:20:20] Yeah.
[00:20:20] That's what I was like, you know, kind of comparing.
[00:20:22] And again, you know, this is the first of a series that I want to do.
[00:20:26] So I kind of want to get it.
[00:20:27] And we're doing like the, we do, we did an early bird special, which was like $45 and
[00:20:32] you get the puzzle with the graphic novel with all the comic books for 45 bucks, you know,
[00:20:38] which is like well over, I think like if he, if he did all the math.
[00:20:41] So if it was like 24, you know, it's probably like $75, $80 worth.
[00:20:45] I was going to say like $80 is what I would say is, you know.
[00:20:49] Yeah.
[00:20:49] That's awesome.
[00:20:50] It's already a good price point.
[00:20:52] The artwork is amazing.
[00:20:53] So before we let you go here, give us the elevator pitch on rising rebels.
[00:20:58] Oh, well, rising rebels is my love letter to eighties over the top monster horror.
[00:21:03] Yes.
[00:21:05] In a nutshell, how the story works is like this kid goes up in the attic and he finds this
[00:21:10] old box of eighties stash at his dad, like kind of just packed in a box and put away in
[00:21:15] the attic.
[00:21:16] And he finds this VHS tape, uh, amongst, you know, like star Wars figures and all this kind
[00:21:21] of stuff that he finds this VHS tape of rising rebels, the movie.
[00:21:25] And he's like, Hey dad, this looks cool.
[00:21:27] So they go to, can we watch it?
[00:21:28] So him and his dad, so he goes to put on the movie and the story starts.
[00:21:32] So it's, it's, it's a story within the story of our father and son watching if this horror
[00:21:37] movie together.
[00:21:39] And, um, again, it's like my love letter to, um, like creep show and the fog and the thing.
[00:21:46] And there's, uh, there's all these Easter eggs in the story and it kind of circumforts.
[00:21:52] It comes around in the end that you find out the, the, the, the, the VHS tape is haunted.
[00:21:58] And, uh, imagine that.
[00:21:59] Yeah.
[00:22:00] So it's your, it's your typical, I want to say you're, we, we, we leaned in really deep,
[00:22:05] really hard on the eighties, you know?
[00:22:08] So, but it kind of brings in all those nostalgic things that are like, remember, like when you,
[00:22:14] first time you saw when you're watching a movie with your folks and there was nudity,
[00:22:19] like, remember that feeling?
[00:22:20] Like, you're like, should I be watching this?
[00:22:22] You're kind of like sinking down into the, into the couch, you know, or like your dad
[00:22:27] or your mom puts their hand over your face or whatever.
[00:22:29] So we actually show that like, cause there's like a, a scene, we don't have any nudity
[00:22:33] or anything like that in our books, but, but there's a scene like that, that kind of like
[00:22:37] brings back that stuff that you remember as like a kid from the eighties, you know?
[00:22:41] And there's just all these little Easter eggs in it throughout.
[00:22:44] And then we have these articles in the back, which are, uh, written by my, my, my buddy,
[00:22:50] Danny Marinino, if any of you guys ever seen that video of, you know, Danzig is.
[00:22:55] Yes. Yeah. You ever see that video of that guy that punched him out?
[00:22:58] I don't remember.
[00:23:00] Mother. I'm like, of course they know mother, but we were just talking about that the other
[00:23:05] day on, uh, on Thursday.
[00:23:06] What about the video or about the video and getting punched out?
[00:23:11] That's my buddy, Danny.
[00:23:12] Well, he wrote, he's a really funny writer and he he's, he's really into like eighties and
[00:23:18] all that kind of stuff. So he wrote all the articles, which, uh, that's kind of a throwback
[00:23:22] of all the stuff that we love from, from the eighties. And he talks about candy and movies
[00:23:27] and video games and you know, all that kind of stuff. And then, then I have, well, I always
[00:23:31] include like, like cool extras, like behind the scenes stuff. And I make all these, these
[00:23:36] props and everything. Um, life-size props of a lot of my characters that I bring to the boost
[00:23:42] with me. Like I think, um, uh, in LA where I met you guys, I had the, the, the Gorgon.
[00:23:49] Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I have like other stuff like life-size zombies and all that kind of
[00:23:54] stuff too. So, uh, I kind of show a lot of that stuff too. So all this is in this, in
[00:24:00] this trade paperback book, which is, and again, it's, it's, it's a fun over the top kind of,
[00:24:04] you know, that throwback eighties monster stuff.
[00:24:07] Yeah. Yeah. I, uh, I know it's early for Christmas, but this is something I would buy
[00:24:12] for like three or four of my, my like friends that are into like horror.
[00:24:16] Jump in there, buddy.
[00:24:17] I like this.
[00:24:18] We might have been there cause I didn't hit my goal yet. So you guys got to bring me over
[00:24:22] my goal.
[00:24:22] I like it. We, we might have to get one of these for graveyard man. Cause I think graveyard
[00:24:26] would be into this too.
[00:24:27] Don't forget about Salem.
[00:24:29] It's say we gotta get presents for Salem too.
[00:24:31] Yeah. I mean, it's, this is like, it's all ready to go. Like, see, this is a production sample
[00:24:35] that they, they make me and it's all ready to go. It's just a matter of, you know, pushing
[00:24:40] the button and having them go into production. So, you know, we, I plan, I plan on it coming
[00:24:45] at quicker. I mean, we're looking for a January delivery, you know, but again, or January, February
[00:24:52] delivery, I think, but again, uh, we got to reach our goal, right? So that's the, that's
[00:24:57] the big thing right now. So we're, we're, we're really close. So Valentine's gifts,
[00:25:01] there you go. That you get it for your, your significant other, just people that you kind
[00:25:06] of feel warmly about. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Halloween presents. I'm loving it.
[00:25:11] Uh, well, yeah, I get, you know, we kind of need is like, yeah, you do something like
[00:25:15] that and you just have like a, um, a certificate of like, Hey, I got you this. This is your,
[00:25:20] your Christmas present, but it's not shipping. Maybe I should think about doing something
[00:25:24] like that. Cause if people are interested, well, I want to buy it for a Christmas gift or whatever.
[00:25:27] And I'm like, Oh, I can make up, you know, a gift card or something like that. That shows
[00:25:31] like, Hey, this is what's coming to you. You know, kind of things. That's not a bad idea.
[00:25:35] If they upgrade and get the signed book. Like, Hey buddy. Yeah. Yeah. There you go.
[00:25:39] She just put a Santa hat on the, like, like a fake little, uh, sticker Santa hat on top of
[00:25:44] the kid's head on, on the, on one of the covers. It's the Christmas edition. Uh, so Jay, we
[00:25:51] can talk to you all night about this stuff, man. Uh, but we, um, we definitely need to
[00:25:56] have you on the show. Yeah. We're going to, we're going to see you in the future, uh, on the build.
[00:26:00] We're going to do a more in-depth interview, but for the time being, where can everybody follow you
[00:26:04] and learn more about you? What's all your social media? Uh, my socials are Jay photo studios, uh,
[00:26:10] either at Instagram or Facebook and, uh, you can just go to Jay photos.com.
[00:26:16] Awesome. And then one more time on the screen right there, but he can see the Kickstarter.
[00:26:19] Uh, yeah, check it out. Everybody. I'm, uh, I'm, I'm, I'm excited about these. Uh, I'm
[00:26:24] going to have fun with, again, like I was saying, we want to do a whole series, you know, from our
[00:26:28] 68 to Gorgon to, you know, all these other properties that we're working on and doing
[00:26:33] these really kind of custom, I'm calling them artist premium puzzle sets. Right. So each one
[00:26:39] will be really different and really nice. You know, we just want to put out some really nice
[00:26:43] high end stuff at a really good price point. Yeah. The Maggadai one needs to be a, that one needs to
[00:26:48] be a puzzle. That's yeah. That would maybe be the, that's a, that's out of 68. So that
[00:26:53] would, but you know, uh, we might have to do that one for sure. Yeah. Cause it's just, it's
[00:26:58] just, after as disgusting as it is, it's very visually kind of like, yeah, that's what
[00:27:02] was my, are you, do you have one of my cards with you or something or cause that's my backdrop
[00:27:07] too is that big Maggadai? Yeah. Uh, I think I might have the card. I just, that was, that
[00:27:12] was the first thing that I noticed when, when we were talking to you was like, Oh my God,
[00:27:15] this thing looks amazing. Yeah. It definitely catches your attention. I mean, within the sea
[00:27:21] of, it's kind of funny whenever, uh, I talked to people at that show because LA show is,
[00:27:27] is pretty heavy anime or, you know, so walking down the aisle artist alley where I'm at, I
[00:27:33] mean, it's probably 70, 80% anime stuff. Right. So then when you're walking down this
[00:27:39] aisle and you come to me or you're walking past me, I've seen so many people like kind
[00:27:43] of doing like, what, what, you know, like, what is that? You know, they're like kind of jerked
[00:27:49] in a way because it's like, I stick out like a sore, sore thumb, which I guess could be a good
[00:27:53] thing. Right. Yeah, definitely. Definitely. Well, Jay, we appreciate you coming on the show, man. We
[00:27:58] will see you in the future here. Uh, it's, it's, it's awesome. Again, ladies and gentlemen,
[00:28:03] head over to the Kickstarter support the, uh, uh, it was rising rebels, right?
[00:28:08] Yeah. Rising rebels premium artist edition. Correct. Yeah. So guys support that, get that.
[00:28:13] Everybody get it as a Christmas gift. Uh, everybody get it as a Halloween gift. Everybody get it as a
[00:28:18] gift gift. Uh, so we can all, so we can get that or just give a gift to yourself and get it or just
[00:28:23] support creators. Yes. Yeah. Support, support horror stuff. Absolutely. And again, we got to get you on,
[00:28:31] uh, conversations in the void because yes, yes. Thank you. That is the all horror show. And they
[00:28:35] would, they would love to have you on there. So I'd love to be on. Absolutely. All right. Thank you guys.
[00:28:39] Thanks a lot, man. Thanks Jay. Dude. That's so cool. Oh man. I I'm, I'm excited. I think
[00:28:45] I am going to get it. Um, it's just that you were able to see the puzzle in person.
[00:28:50] We did. Uh, it's it dude, it looks good. That's awesome. Oh, uh, it's so like, it looks
[00:28:56] so lush. It honestly, I'm a puzzle person and that puzzle just, I would just do it. I I've
[00:29:03] never read the book, but I would get the puzzle and do it just for the joy of doing the puzzle
[00:29:08] and having that amazing bag and the, and the magnetic closure. I'm so excited about the
[00:29:14] magnetic closure. I can't believe it's only $25. That's what that's crazy is crazy to me. Is
[00:29:21] it only $25? I'm like, cause I've been shopping for puzzles at like target. It's like $30 for a
[00:29:26] thousand piece of puzzle, depending on which it is. It's ridiculous. Yeah. So I'd rather have something
[00:29:31] super niche like this. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, Tater said, James got me cake for Christmas. Then I got yelled
[00:29:37] at. Yeah. And then it happened. And then I was died that keeps on giving thanks Tater just so he didn't
[00:29:43] waste his cake. Oh my God. All right. Well, ladies and gentlemen, uh, that was comic book creator
[00:29:47] spotlight. Uh, again, uh, pretty awesome, uh, uh, project that he's got going on there. Uh, I did end up
[00:29:55] looking, uh, uh, uh, what was it? Craig crane, no Clayton Clayton, Clayton crane, Clayton crane. Yeah.
[00:30:01] That sounds right. Um, he did the, um, he did the, uh, the, the lost boys X force cover. Oh, sweet. This
[00:30:08] one. That's cool. That's cool. That's cool. So I was like, Oh, he's the one that did the cover for that.
[00:30:13] That's awesome. That's, that's a pretty iconic one. Cool. All right. Well, uh, that is it for comic
[00:30:18] creator spotlight. Ladies and gentlemen, it is now everybody. Oh, it is now time for the geek end update.
[00:30:32] This is 30 is on comic-con radio. Look for distance nerding. Even this episode and our second show,
[00:30:37] a comic conversation each week on comic-con dash radio.com. Somebody pop that into the chat.
[00:30:45] I'm on it right now. We're popping. We're popping into the chat. We're popping. And Comic-Con
[00:30:53] radio is a little behind on the episodes. Why? Because they're all getting ready for fandom con.
[00:30:59] That's right. Fandom con baby. Oh my goodness.
[00:31:06] San Jose. Fandom con is right around the corner. November 8th through the 10th. It's going to be
[00:31:13] awesome. It's a three day event. It's the first event and it's big enough.
[00:31:16] How does this say July 19th through the 21st? Because he grabbed an old image. I probably did. Oh, okay.
[00:31:22] I was like, that says July. Are we in July? What's going on? Yeah, no, I grabbed an old image. That's my fault. It was the nicest one that I could find. That wasn't just completely just crazy. So November 8th through the 10th. The
[00:31:52] I'm just exhausted thinking about coming out there and hanging out with Ming Chen again.
[00:31:58] Seeing Ming again. She's like, oh my God. Ming's gonna just, I'm just gonna be, I feel drunk just thinking about it.
[00:32:05] Right. Just exhaustion. No, go ahead.
[00:32:09] So Ming Chen will be there. Saffron Henderson, the cast of Digital Circus, the cast of Genshin Impact. It'll also be the largest Hoyoverse get together ever. So there's going to be like, I think over 40 voice actors from like Genshin Impact and I forgot the other one. Stargirl, I think it is. But it's huge. It's going to be huge, huge. And there's even going to be an after party. Remember how we were in LA Comic Con, Young Phil? And we're like, I wish there was like a,
[00:32:39] after party. Oh yeah. An official after party like, like what they did a few years ago. Phantom Con already has one. It's got a, it's got an official glow rave after party going on. It's crazy. I wonder if I should, I thought about like, should I just, should I just text Galaxy and say, dude, can I get a set? Get on there. Get on there. As long as you throw the, throw in that like trap hardcore remix of Pink Pony Club. As long as you get that in there, we're in. We're in.
[00:33:08] But anyway, Phantom Con in San Jose, November 8th through the 10th. That is, is that Veterans Day weekend? I believe so. It's Veterans Day weekend. So Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and then you got Monday to recover. It's perfect. It's perfect. There you go. It'll be awesome. It is going to be great. We're going to have a good time. We're going to have all the fun. Well, ladies and gentlemen, that is it for the Geek End update. Let's move on. It's time to start some rumors.
[00:33:31] I don't know where to get in their news, but I'm not mad if tonight it comes true. Oh, let's got some rumors. I want to start some rumors with you.
[00:33:44] We got some rumors with you.
[00:33:51] There you go. Look, say what I'm going to chat. Star Rail. That's what it was. I said Star Girl, but it's Star Rail. Are those connected? Genshin Impact and Star Rail?
[00:34:00] Maybe. Come on. You're looking at the wrong person. Come on. I have no idea. Absolutely. Well, hello again, Sydney. Some new plot details have surfaced for Scream 7, which will see Nev Campbell back in the role of Sydney Prescott, and it will be directed by franchise creator Kevin Williamson.
[00:34:17] What? Yeah, I know, right? Scream 7 will have two main storylines, one about Syd and her friend from the neighborhood, and the second one about Syd's teen daughter, Taylor, who could be a codename, and her friends, which each of them have to deal with a version of Ghostface.
[00:34:34] Scream 7 is set to hit theaters on February 27th of 2026. Tacos on the Table, guys. Is Ghostface going to be pulling double duty in the new film?
[00:34:46] Tacos are on the table. That's the new norm. There's like not one Ghostface killer. There's always two. It's always a collaboration. It's always something you didn't expect.
[00:34:55] He's busting out the fish to go. What's that? I think there's no Ghostface. He's busting out the fish to go. Sorry, that's a Ghostface killer reference. No Ghostface. You don't think Ghostface is going to be in Scream?
[00:35:04] I think they're all going to be paranoid about Ghostface, and it's not going to be that, and then we're going to find out that she's really in a mental institution.
[00:35:10] Oh. Whoa. Mind blown. I don't really. I mean, I just came up with that off the top of my head, so if that really happened, I'm sorry.
[00:35:20] But yeah, no, it'd be cool. You know, I like a good nostalgia-like thing. It's a huge callback, so let's do it. Bring Sydney back. Bring Kevin back. Let's get this going.
[00:35:31] Yeah. James, tacos on the table? Yeah, my tacos are on the table. They're on the table, and I'm going to eat them again. Tacos on the table.
[00:35:39] My tacos are on the table. I think that this is kind of where the story is going, but I mean, technically, the first movie had two Ghostfaces in it.
[00:35:47] They just didn't reveal it until the end of the movie. That was what? Lillard. Who was the other one? Skeet Aldrich.
[00:35:54] Skeet Aldrich. I was going to say, whoever played Billy Loomis.
[00:35:58] Yeah, Skeet Aldrich. Skeet. Skeet. Skeet, yeah. Skeet Aldrich.
[00:36:02] Hey, maybe Nancy Ann and Lenora will get into Scream 7. That'd be great.
[00:36:07] Then they die. I mean, I guess if she's in a mental institution, then I mean, anybody could show up.
[00:36:11] So we interviewed Nancy Ann Ritter and Leonora Scalfo at Silver Age Comic Con, right, in Reno.
[00:36:21] And they were talking, and we're like, oh, we'd totally come back. We're like the only two original cast members that are still alive besides Sydney.
[00:36:29] And we're like, holy crap. They're like, yeah, of course we'd come back.
[00:36:33] So that'd be great. That'd be great.
[00:36:35] All right, who got the next one?
[00:36:37] And Brightest Day and Blackest Night is Carol's backstory getting a rewrite.
[00:36:42] That was a really good rhyme, whoever wrote that.
[00:36:45] That would be James.
[00:36:46] DC Studios is looking to put together a strong cast for its upcoming Green Lantern series, Lanterns,
[00:36:53] with Kyle Chandler set to play Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre taking on the role of Jon Stewart,
[00:37:00] which he really does look like he's going to be good, Jon Stewart.
[00:37:02] Now we are learning that Kelly MacDonald, gray, four-dog empire, the Radley, she's really cool,
[00:37:09] has an amazing Irish accent, which she'll have to not do,
[00:37:12] has been offered one of two female leads in the series.
[00:37:16] She is set to play the town's sheriff and Hal Jordan's love interest.
[00:37:21] It's uncertain if the role is an original character or Carol Ferris.
[00:37:26] So talk was on the table.
[00:37:27] Will Lanterns rewrite Carol Ferris' backstory?
[00:37:30] It's not that much of a stretch to say that the daughter of Ferris Aeronautics becomes the sheriff of the town.
[00:37:41] The only thing is that if they're going that route, does she become a star sapphire?
[00:37:46] Down the road.
[00:37:47] Somewhere.
[00:37:47] Down the road.
[00:37:48] So I think I have an answer.
[00:37:50] Okay.
[00:37:50] But first I need you to tell me, are your tacos on the table?
[00:37:54] My, oh God, are my tacos on the table that she's Carol Ferris?
[00:37:59] I'm looking at, I don't know, half-eaten tacos on the table for this because...
[00:38:04] It's only an hour and a half show.
[00:38:05] Yeah, that's what I'm saying, a half-eaten taco on the show.
[00:38:07] Go ahead.
[00:38:08] What were you going to say?
[00:38:11] So I, here's what I think.
[00:38:13] If Hal's older, I think Carol's already a star sapphire and that this is a new character that he's hooked up with.
[00:38:20] Because he's, I don't, I'm not going to get into all the Hal stuff, but let's just say that that's very on brand for him.
[00:38:27] Yeah.
[00:38:28] To hook up with someone else while Carol's out of town.
[00:38:31] Right, right, right.
[00:38:32] Oh, okay.
[00:38:33] So you don't think Kelly MacDonald is playing Carol Ferris?
[00:38:37] No.
[00:38:38] I think Carol Ferris is already star sapphire and she's on Xamarin.
[00:38:42] But Kelly MacDonald is playing the love interest of...
[00:38:46] Hal Jordan.
[00:38:47] Hal Jordan.
[00:38:47] Okay.
[00:38:48] I got you.
[00:38:49] I see you.
[00:38:49] I see you.
[00:38:50] Because they don't end up together, y'all.
[00:38:52] Carol Ferris ain't the only girl he ever got.
[00:38:55] It's a big galaxy.
[00:38:56] It's a big galaxy.
[00:38:56] You're not wrong.
[00:38:57] I kind of want to see what...
[00:38:59] 2814 is a big place.
[00:39:00] There's a lot of fish in the...
[00:39:02] Yeah.
[00:39:02] I kind of want to see what Matt has to say about this, but also I just looked over at
[00:39:06] the Instagram chat and Christina Kelly is in the Instagram chat right now.
[00:39:11] So shout out to Christina Kelly.
[00:39:12] We've got celebrities in our chat.
[00:39:15] It's pretty awesome.
[00:39:17] I'm waving vigorously.
[00:39:18] Hello.
[00:39:19] Thank you.
[00:39:19] Thank you for coming.
[00:39:21] So you can hear my wild and outrageous theories.
[00:39:24] Matt in the chat, you got to give us some input on this because we know Matt's a
[00:39:28] big time Green Lantern fan and we know he's very well or very interested in this Lantern
[00:39:34] show.
[00:39:35] So will Kelly McDonald be Carol Ferris or do you have another idea?
[00:39:40] Don't save it for your Friday show, Matt.
[00:39:43] It's Tuesday.
[00:39:45] Come on.
[00:39:46] You're on the East Coast or whatever.
[00:39:47] You got like three hours ahead.
[00:39:48] So you have three hours extra.
[00:39:50] He's got two hours.
[00:39:51] He's in Tennessee.
[00:39:51] But I mean, still...
[00:39:52] That's fine.
[00:39:52] But I definitely want to see kind of what his opinion on this is.
[00:39:56] Does he think that it's Carol?
[00:39:57] Do we think that Carol is already a star Sapphire?
[00:40:01] Because you know Jen has a really good theory.
[00:40:04] Gotta say.
[00:40:05] He thinks the same thing.
[00:40:07] Without saying it out loud, I think he thinks the same thing.
[00:40:10] It's just the chick that he's...
[00:40:12] I think that that's where they're going to go.
[00:40:13] Because they're doing it like a true detective.
[00:40:16] Like they're...
[00:40:17] It's like, you know, old grizzle.
[00:40:19] Like I'm too old.
[00:40:20] I think it's going to be more like Lethal Weapon than like True Detective or maybe a mashup.
[00:40:25] But like, you know, that Hal Jordan's too old for this shit.
[00:40:28] And that Jon Stewart's the one coming in.
[00:40:30] And I think we're going to meet Kyle.
[00:40:32] I think Kyle's going to be in the...
[00:40:34] Maybe towards the end of the first season.
[00:40:36] I would love that.
[00:40:37] I would love to see.
[00:40:37] Because we already know Guy's going to be in the series.
[00:40:39] They already said that Guy Gardner is going to make an appearance.
[00:40:41] So I mean, like if we get...
[00:40:43] If we get...
[00:40:44] If we get Kyle Rayner by the end of the show, that would be amazing.
[00:40:48] I think that would be really cool.
[00:40:49] But, you know, we have other stuff that...
[00:40:52] Like we have other Green Lantern things to talk about later.
[00:40:54] So we don't want to get too in the weeds for this.
[00:40:57] Matt is already saying, please let that happen.
[00:40:59] Because me and him are...
[00:41:00] But we share the same favorite Lantern.
[00:41:02] So we're both big Kyle Rayner fans.
[00:41:04] Kyle's my fave too.
[00:41:04] So now we're a throuple.
[00:41:06] Right.
[00:41:07] He said if I say it enough times, maybe it'll happen.
[00:41:09] I...
[00:41:10] You know, I think...
[00:41:11] I don't...
[00:41:12] After you said that, I don't think she's going to be playing Carol Ferris.
[00:41:15] I don't think it's going to happen.
[00:41:16] But I don't think we see Carol Ferris in this.
[00:41:18] If we do, it'll be like season...
[00:41:20] Like end of season two, maybe season three.
[00:41:24] Like she comes down as a star sapphire and she's just...
[00:41:27] Yeah.
[00:41:27] What the hell?
[00:41:28] How?
[00:41:29] And it ends on that.
[00:41:31] Right.
[00:41:31] Like after they're like really like, you know...
[00:41:33] She comes in, they makey and star sapphires do not deal well with spurned love.
[00:41:41] I'm just going to say that right now.
[00:41:42] They don't at all.
[00:41:44] Not at all.
[00:41:45] They will murder for it.
[00:41:47] Which, I mean, I think the first time we saw star sapphire, she nearly destroyed a planet
[00:41:52] over his infidelity.
[00:41:53] So it's like...
[00:41:54] Yeah.
[00:41:55] Yeah.
[00:41:55] Yeah.
[00:41:56] So we're going to go ahead and move on here.
[00:41:59] Is everybody giving their tacos on this?
[00:42:01] Tacos are on the table.
[00:42:03] All right.
[00:42:04] I love Kelly McConnel.
[00:42:05] I don't think it's going to be Carol Ferris.
[00:42:07] So no talking.
[00:42:08] Gotcha.
[00:42:08] All right.
[00:42:09] Get your pizza ball orders ready.
[00:42:11] Bruce Campbell may have a bigger role to play in the MCU following his cameo in Sam Raimi's
[00:42:17] 2022 Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness movie.
[00:42:21] Campbell played Pizza Papa, a food vendor on Earth 838.
[00:42:25] But while speaking with Variety, he said, I play the Pizza Papa, but ask yourself, really?
[00:42:32] In the timeline?
[00:42:33] In the Marvel timeline?
[00:42:34] I'm just a pizza papa?
[00:42:36] Don't kid yourself.
[00:42:38] My contract is that thick for that movie.
[00:42:41] You think I'd sign a contract that thick for the simple little throwaway character?
[00:42:45] What did I do in that movie?
[00:42:48] I delayed Doctor Strange.
[00:42:50] Look at him making up a backstory for himself.
[00:42:52] I delayed Doctor Strange.
[00:42:54] I didn't defeat him.
[00:42:55] We didn't fight.
[00:42:56] I delayed him from what?
[00:42:57] Did I just save Doctor Strange's life?
[00:43:00] The Marvel world really is just starting.
[00:43:03] And again, I can only comment so much.
[00:43:06] Oh, look at him just making the teases.
[00:43:09] Tacos on the table.
[00:43:09] Is Pizza Papa going to be making a comeback?
[00:43:12] It's Sam Raimi, so yes.
[00:43:14] Yes.
[00:43:15] I mean, he's in every Sam Raimi movie, but I mean, my tacos are 100% on the table.
[00:43:20] But here's my new theory.
[00:43:21] Is he the one that says by the host of Hoggoth?
[00:43:25] By the hoary host of Hoggoth?
[00:43:26] Oh, that's pretty good.
[00:43:27] Okay.
[00:43:27] I've been waiting for every appearance of Doctor Strange for him to say it.
[00:43:31] It's his catchphrase from the comic books.
[00:43:33] He has not said it once.
[00:43:35] Right?
[00:43:35] By the hoary host of Hoggoth.
[00:43:37] Like, Doctor Strange hears him say it, and he's like, I might use that.
[00:43:40] Right.
[00:43:42] I like it.
[00:43:43] That's a good point, though.
[00:43:44] And I love his little wrestling promo tease just to keep us wanting a little bit more.
[00:43:50] Which the dude upkeeps kayfabe like no other, man.
[00:43:53] Bruce Campbell is a kayfabe monster.
[00:43:56] He's such a carny, and it's great.
[00:43:58] Yeah, my tacos are definitely on the table.
[00:44:00] I just don't think that maybe he's not Pizza Papa in the other universes.
[00:44:05] Well, I don't think he is.
[00:44:06] Maybe he's somebody else.
[00:44:07] Yeah.
[00:44:08] Like Norman Osborn.
[00:44:09] He's Mephisto.
[00:44:10] Oh, my God.
[00:44:10] What if he...
[00:44:11] No, but what if he was Norman Osborn?
[00:44:13] That would be nuts.
[00:44:14] Wow.
[00:44:15] I just love how I throw these little things out, and you guys go, oh, my God.
[00:44:19] What if it's wrong?
[00:44:21] Every story.
[00:44:22] Just derailed.
[00:44:23] Every story.
[00:44:25] Where are your tacos?
[00:44:26] Where are your pizza tacos?
[00:44:28] My pizza tacos are on the pizza table.
[00:44:31] Oh, yeah.
[00:44:32] Yeah.
[00:44:34] What about you, young Phil?
[00:44:35] My tacos are on the table just because, again, like I said, it's Sam Raimi.
[00:44:38] Sam Raimi always puts Bruce Campbell in his movies.
[00:44:41] I would love to see Bruce Campbell be a watcher or something.
[00:44:45] Oh, my gosh.
[00:44:46] That would be great.
[00:44:47] Or like a cosmic entity being like the Beyonder.
[00:44:52] Oh, what if he was the Beyonder?
[00:44:54] You guys are spiraling.
[00:44:56] No, but the whole thing is because he specifically said because he stopped Doctor Strange and it
[00:45:01] saved his life.
[00:45:02] And that's something that Beyonder would do.
[00:45:04] Yeah.
[00:45:04] Because he knows the past, the present, and the future all at once.
[00:45:08] Mm-hmm.
[00:45:08] So let's move on to the next story.
[00:45:10] And he knows when the Pizza Papa balls are done.
[00:45:12] That's how he knows when the Pizza Papa balls are ready.
[00:45:16] Exactly.
[00:45:17] We've got to keep going because we're just getting started with rumors.
[00:45:19] Now I want to eat some Pizza Papa.
[00:45:21] But, yes, let's go.
[00:45:22] All right.
[00:45:22] We're just getting started with rumors.
[00:45:24] Our next big rumor, Brie Larson's Captain Marvel is going to have a bigger role in Avengers
[00:45:30] Doomsday and Avengers Secret War.
[00:45:33] Hmm?
[00:45:34] Hmm.
[00:45:34] The Cosmic Circus is reporting that Captain Marvel is expected to be one of the leading
[00:45:40] Avengers in both movies.
[00:45:42] And the film will explore the MCU's multiverse storyline where Captain Marvel's, or Marvel's
[00:45:49] is, involvement in will be pivotal.
[00:45:52] Avengers Doomsday is set to release May 1st, 2026.
[00:45:55] Secret Wars will release May 7th, 2027.
[00:45:59] Seven tacos on the table.
[00:46:00] Is Captain Marvel going to have a significant role instead of just a flyby?
[00:46:06] Hmm?
[00:46:06] I wonder if in one of the two movies, more likely in Doomsday, if they do it, if they're
[00:46:12] going to do like the kind of incorporated Civil War 2 storyline.
[00:46:16] They might.
[00:46:17] Because remember, it was her versus Captain America.
[00:46:19] It would be her versus Sam, if anything.
[00:46:21] Yeah, I could see that.
[00:46:22] But I think so.
[00:46:23] I think, you know, the character deserves it.
[00:46:26] I know a lot of people were not happy with the Marvels.
[00:46:29] I loved it.
[00:46:30] I loved that movie.
[00:46:31] I thought it was great.
[00:46:32] I thought it was good.
[00:46:32] But I think that she deserves it.
[00:46:34] She's been learning how to be a leader.
[00:46:37] And this is where she can really step up and lead.
[00:46:40] Right.
[00:46:41] So I think that that's amazing.
[00:46:42] So my tacos are on the table.
[00:46:44] Let's do this.
[00:46:44] Carol, come on.
[00:46:45] Yeah, also, my tacos are also on the table.
[00:46:48] Again, I feel like if they do in Doomsday with everything that we're hearing, which we're
[00:46:54] going to get into in a minute here, but everything that we're hearing about Doomsday, it would
[00:46:57] make sense to kind of have a back running story of Civil War 2, where she's trying to
[00:47:04] lead a team.
[00:47:05] Captain America is trying to lead a team and the two of them clash and they end up fighting.
[00:47:09] So I mean, like, you know, it would make for like a compelling backstory.
[00:47:12] I think so, too.
[00:47:13] I think it's a solid story, too.
[00:47:15] It's not just let's throw everybody in there and see what they do.
[00:47:19] I want to have her in a situation where her her powers matter, you know, like, you know,
[00:47:25] when she showed up at the end of Endgame, she's like, hey, look at me, everybody.
[00:47:29] I'm super OP and I just could destroy everything except I got here 10 minutes too late.
[00:47:34] You know, it's like, come on, man.
[00:47:35] Like we need some some heftier consequences and like put her to the test instead of her
[00:47:41] just being super OP kind of can do anything she wants to do.
[00:47:44] Well, I also think that the Marvel sets that up that she's she now really knows like she's
[00:47:50] trying to the she's she's gardening the consequences of her actions.
[00:47:57] I don't know if that's a saying or anything, but she's really starting to understand, hey,
[00:48:03] I you know, I did this and now I have to pay for it.
[00:48:06] And so I think that is another aspect of her being a leader.
[00:48:10] And I think, yeah, I absolutely see her being like, no, we're not going to do this.
[00:48:15] And and Dr. Doom would be the one to really stretch her powers.
[00:48:20] Yeah.
[00:48:20] So I think I think it's a good test.
[00:48:24] It's good human versus human versus themselves kind of thing that Carol's going through.
[00:48:31] And she's just now started to accept that she's part of a team with the Marvels.
[00:48:36] And I think that's going to blossom and I will really see what she can do.
[00:48:40] Right.
[00:48:40] And if Victor has the magic like he does in the comics, he can.
[00:48:45] Yeah.
[00:48:46] Well, you know, yeah.
[00:48:48] So, James, you said tacos tacos table.
[00:48:51] Yes.
[00:48:51] No table.
[00:48:53] Yes.
[00:48:53] And Phil tacos table.
[00:48:54] Yes.
[00:48:55] Yeah.
[00:48:55] So speaking of Doomsday, where in the world is Wanda Max off?
[00:49:00] I know it's Maxim off, but it didn't go with the thing.
[00:49:03] So a report has surfaced regarding Marvel's Avengers Doomsday, Elizabeth Olsen Scarlet Witch,
[00:49:15] a.k.a.
[00:49:16] Wanda Max off.
[00:49:17] It might be Robert June.
[00:49:19] What?
[00:49:21] Neither do you.
[00:49:23] Might be Robert Downey Jr.'s Dr. Doom's lover in the story.
[00:49:28] You know, that would be so like Robert Downey Jr.
[00:49:32] Worth noting Avengers, the Children's Crusade, Dr. Doom and Wanda Maximoff become allies in the quest to acquire power.
[00:49:39] So it could happen.
[00:49:40] I mean, it is there are comic precedent for it.
[00:49:43] So tacos on the table table will want to trade one metal man for a man in metal.
[00:49:49] I will say my tacos are on the table mainly just because I think they will follow that storyline again, be something that's in there.
[00:49:58] It is already going to be an alternate universe.
[00:50:00] We already have RDJ as Victor Von Doom.
[00:50:03] At least we think it's Victor Von Doom.
[00:50:05] It could be an alternate version of Wanda Maximoff.
[00:50:09] So just like how we've seen different versions of Wanda in different universes, it's going to be this universe's Wanda is teamed up with this universe's Dr. Doom to do that.
[00:50:21] And again, I think it's going to be a small storyline running in the background with all the other storylines that may be happening.
[00:50:27] That'll probably get finished up and will get tied up in Secret Wars.
[00:50:31] Yeah, I was going to say, I think they tease it in Doomsday and then we get the reveal at the end and then it's like, holy crap, that's Wanda.
[00:50:40] And then our Wanda comes back and goes, uh, uh, uh.
[00:50:43] And then, yeah.
[00:50:44] And it's Wanda on Wanda fight.
[00:50:46] But here's what I want to know.
[00:50:48] Will Wanda have a comic accurate costume?
[00:50:51] That would be smart for them to do.
[00:50:53] Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:50:54] That's what I'm saying.
[00:51:01] It was perfect.
[00:51:02] I know.
[00:51:02] I want to see more of that.
[00:51:04] But I want it to be real and leather.
[00:51:06] And I want her to, you know, really own it.
[00:51:08] And whips.
[00:51:09] What?
[00:51:09] Own it!
[00:51:10] Whips and chains excite her.
[00:51:12] What up, Matt?
[00:51:13] Or what up, Van in the chat?
[00:51:15] Also, what's up, Chris Neal?
[00:51:16] Showing up in the chat right now, too.
[00:51:18] Hello.
[00:51:19] So as of right now, I'm going to assume that this is going into a multiverse thing.
[00:51:25] Because Chris is asking, is this part of 616?
[00:51:27] And I'm, I'm, my guess is it's going to be a whole different multiverse.
[00:51:32] I think they're talking Battleworld, aren't they?
[00:51:34] The rumor.
[00:51:34] It's a rumor that they're going to be doing Battleworld.
[00:51:36] We don't know that for sure, though.
[00:51:37] Well, I mean, this is a rumor, too.
[00:51:39] If we're talking about the Wanda 616, I don't think it's, my tacos are off the table.
[00:51:44] But if we go down your ideas, Jen, because everybody loves your ideas tonight, then I'm
[00:51:52] on board with it being like other versions of the character from the multiverse.
[00:51:56] Then I'm more on board with it.
[00:51:58] Like I said, this is going to be, you know, because 616 Wanda quote unquote died at Wonder
[00:52:06] Gore.
[00:52:06] We know by the end of the show we're watching right now.
[00:52:09] She's presumed dead.
[00:52:11] It's going to be revealed that she wasn't.
[00:52:13] Wanda's not dead.
[00:52:14] She already has.
[00:52:15] There was a flash.
[00:52:15] There was a red flash.
[00:52:16] Right as things came down, there's a red flash.
[00:52:18] Yeah.
[00:52:19] I know for a fact, just because the way that Wanda as a character is, you're not going to
[00:52:24] kill her off that easily.
[00:52:25] You know, if anything, she got binded up somewhere or maybe knocked her out because she got hit
[00:52:31] by a random rock in the head.
[00:52:32] Maybe she'll have a little bit of amnesia, but the story is going to continue.
[00:52:35] So again, I'm going off on a tangent.
[00:52:37] We got to, has everybody named after tacos?
[00:52:39] Yes.
[00:52:40] Yeah.
[00:52:40] Mine's named Hank.
[00:52:41] Hank.
[00:52:41] Yes.
[00:52:42] Mine's named Wilbur.
[00:52:44] So mine is Steve.
[00:52:46] So keep on going.
[00:52:49] From Wanda to web slinging.
[00:52:51] It was previously reported that Spider-Man will appear in Avengers Doomsday and Avengers
[00:52:55] Secret War.
[00:52:56] We are now learning that Tom Holland's web slinger may play a major role in Doomsday.
[00:53:01] The report claims that Spider-Man will appear as the main lead in Avengers 5, but will have
[00:53:06] a smaller role in Secret Wars.
[00:53:08] So tacos on the table.
[00:53:10] Will Spidey meet his, or maybe another universe's multiverse's, Doom?
[00:53:15] Interesting.
[00:53:16] I could see them wanting to keep Doom and Spider-Man apart for a while because the buildup, you know?
[00:53:23] So I could definitely see them having a major role in one film, but then kind of a reduced
[00:53:28] role in the second film and then coming back for the crescendo for the climax, you know?
[00:53:32] Yeah.
[00:53:32] I could definitely see that happening.
[00:53:33] So my tacos are on the table.
[00:53:36] All right.
[00:53:36] Jen, are your tacos on the table or are they off?
[00:53:39] No, they're on the table.
[00:53:40] I think it's a good idea.
[00:53:41] And I really, I mean, it wraps up the whole, like, because of how Spider-Man and Tony, like,
[00:53:47] Peter and Tony's, like, relationship, this will really throw them for a loop.
[00:53:52] So yeah, definitely.
[00:53:53] Definitely.
[00:53:54] It's going to be heart-wrenching to see Peter just, like, see Tony that way and just
[00:54:00] be like, wait, no, what are you doing, you know?
[00:54:03] That little Mr. Stark kind of thing.
[00:54:06] They may play into that confusion, you know?
[00:54:08] Maybe that's how Doom wins is, like, everybody's confused and doesn't know what to do.
[00:54:12] Yeah.
[00:54:12] I mean, if they're playing Victor Von Doom, Victor Von Doom is going to exploit every loophole
[00:54:18] that he can, you know?
[00:54:19] The dude does not play fair and then he's going to see, oh, this guy thinks that I'm
[00:54:24] his world's Tony.
[00:54:26] Tony.
[00:54:26] So let me, let me, let me take that.
[00:54:28] Yeah.
[00:54:29] You know, we've talked about the heroes.
[00:54:32] Now let's talk about the MCU villains.
[00:54:35] Yeah.
[00:54:35] See how I did that?
[00:54:37] I did.
[00:54:37] I liked it.
[00:54:37] The plan is for both the upcoming Avengers movies to feature secondary villains replacing
[00:54:44] the Council of Kings.
[00:54:45] The original plans called for different teams of heroes to battle the likes of Rama Tut,
[00:54:50] Scarlet Centurion, Amortus, Weird King, Maximal King.
[00:54:56] Oh.
[00:54:57] The rumor suggests we might see a multiversal Masters of Evil.
[00:55:02] Ooh.
[00:55:02] That would be fun.
[00:55:04] Yeah.
[00:55:04] That would be fun.
[00:55:05] So, tacos on the table.
[00:55:07] Are we excited for a multiversal mini baddies?
[00:55:10] I absolutely am.
[00:55:11] I think that it's a smart move on Marvel's part to do the Masters of Evil.
[00:55:16] Of course.
[00:55:17] But like, again, with all the storylines that we're hearing right now, right?
[00:55:20] Like you're going to see this whole thing with Dr. Doom.
[00:55:24] I mean, Doomsday doesn't have to be just Doom.
[00:55:26] You can get multiple villains and it's called Doomsday because it's the end of existence,
[00:55:31] right?
[00:55:31] Yeah.
[00:55:32] The Masters of Evil are getting ready to destroy everybody and the Avengers have to split
[00:55:36] up.
[00:55:36] I think that we're probably going to see young Avengers show up in this, at least a partial
[00:55:40] team for young Avengers show up in this.
[00:55:42] Yeah.
[00:55:43] And they're going to go and fight like, you know, some version of a character.
[00:55:48] We're probably going to see like different Avengers teams, but then that also is going
[00:55:53] to play into the whole storyline that I was talking about Civil War 2.
[00:55:56] So you may have the A team and the B team and they're fighting each other while they're
[00:56:00] fighting everybody else.
[00:56:01] And again, it makes for a more, it makes for a complicated story, but I mean, that's
[00:56:07] kind of what you want for this kind of story.
[00:56:09] And you want to very much Empire Strikes Back This and not end, you know, like not end.
[00:56:16] It's got to pick up in Secret Wars and finish up there.
[00:56:19] Yeah.
[00:56:20] I mean, it has to have some sort of like logical ending to the story, but it needs to not be
[00:56:26] a happy-go-lucky, let's all have flowers and picnics.
[00:56:30] Yeah.
[00:56:30] It's got to be a-
[00:56:31] What's next?
[00:56:31] It's got to be a Thanos and Darth Vader, the bad guy wins in the end.
[00:56:35] And then they have to fight Doom in Secret Wars.
[00:56:38] My tacos are mystery tacos because I don't know anything about Masters of Evil.
[00:56:44] And I just looked them up and it looks like Baron Zemo is a part of it.
[00:56:47] Yep.
[00:56:48] Mm-hmm.
[00:56:49] Who is that?
[00:56:49] You know, he's going to be in Thunderbolt.
[00:56:52] So.
[00:56:53] Yeah.
[00:56:53] He's out there.
[00:56:54] I like, I mean, I like that idea.
[00:56:55] Yeah.
[00:56:56] Yeah.
[00:56:56] Yeah.
[00:56:56] He, and he has his comic book accurate costume now too because of, um, because of, uh, uh,
[00:57:03] Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
[00:57:04] Yeah.
[00:57:05] Yeah.
[00:57:05] Yeah.
[00:57:06] Yeah.
[00:57:06] Yeah.
[00:57:06] They could also bring Sharon back.
[00:57:08] She could be part of that.
[00:57:10] Yes.
[00:57:10] As a power broker and stuff.
[00:57:12] I see a lot of possibilities for this and just calling him Masters of Evil.
[00:57:16] It's like, you know, the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.
[00:57:19] There were so many different iterations of that that it's, you could, you can do a lot
[00:57:24] with it.
[00:57:24] So I like this idea.
[00:57:26] So.
[00:57:26] Time's on the table.
[00:57:27] Let's do it.
[00:57:27] Absolutely.
[00:57:28] Well, in franchises, young Phil wishes he could be in rumors because I so wish.
[00:57:33] Okay.
[00:57:34] So wish that I could be in this.
[00:57:35] Uh, after Deadpool and Wolverine made over a billion dollars at the box office, it's
[00:57:41] safe to.
[00:57:41] One billion dollars.
[00:57:42] One billion dollars.
[00:57:44] Uh, it's safe to assume that the studio is going to eventually get around to making
[00:57:48] another Deadpool sequel.
[00:57:50] As for what another Deadpool movie might entail, director Sean Levy has shared his desire to
[00:57:55] bring Spider-Man, Spiderman into the, into the fun.
[00:57:58] The thing about Deadpool is I think he makes everything more interesting because of his audacity.
[00:58:03] But boy, I'd love to see Deadpool and Spidey.
[00:58:05] That's a movie I'd love to make.
[00:58:07] I feel like Tom Holland would run circles around everyone else.
[00:58:11] So tacos.
[00:58:12] Literally.
[00:58:12] Cause they're all old.
[00:58:13] Exactly.
[00:58:15] Tacos on the table.
[00:58:16] Will we get a web slinger and a Wade Wilson crossover?
[00:58:19] And will Curtis Corona miss the mark again and skip another Deadpool movie?
[00:58:23] Oh, tacos are on the table for that.
[00:58:25] Are you kidding me?
[00:58:26] That guy cannot make a good decision if there's life depended on it or his football team.
[00:58:31] That's why he roots for the Philadelphia Eagles.
[00:58:35] So my tacos are on the table.
[00:58:38] Of course they're going to cash in.
[00:58:39] And of course, Sony's going to be like, yeah, go cash in, do something.
[00:58:42] Can we just make some money?
[00:58:43] Yeah.
[00:58:43] Make money for us.
[00:58:44] Thanks.
[00:58:44] Yeah.
[00:58:45] I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm looking over at the Instagram chat.
[00:58:47] Just hoping Curtis jumps in here and just starts talking all the smack.
[00:58:51] He always starts coming in talking smack when we start talking about him.
[00:58:54] Sorry.
[00:58:54] Huh?
[00:58:55] What?
[00:58:55] I said, Curtis always ends up in the chat talking smack whenever we talk about him.
[00:58:59] Oh, Oh, Oh, like you summon him.
[00:59:01] Yeah.
[00:59:02] Okay.
[00:59:02] Well, I think, yeah, I'd like to see, uh, Tom Holland run circles around, uh, Ryan Reynolds
[00:59:08] and Hugh Jackman.
[00:59:10] Cause hashtag till you're 90 till you're 90.
[00:59:15] Good callback.
[00:59:16] I like it.
[00:59:17] Uh, was that everybody's tacos?
[00:59:18] I mean, my tacos are on the table, obviously.
[00:59:20] Uh, we just assumed.
[00:59:21] Yeah.
[00:59:22] Marvel, Marvel would be dumb not to, uh, continue this franchise, but only if, um, only
[00:59:29] if Ryan and Sean, uh, are like, you know, if they, if they have an idea for what they're
[00:59:34] going to do.
[00:59:34] Yeah.
[00:59:34] I would, I would hate them just to do it, just to do it.
[00:59:38] And I don't think Ryan Reynolds would do that.
[00:59:40] So yeah, I think if it may be a few years.
[00:59:42] Yeah.
[00:59:43] Yeah.
[00:59:43] Absolutely.
[00:59:44] All right.
[00:59:44] Let's keep it going over to DC rumors.
[00:59:48] Uh, just kidding.
[00:59:49] Make mine Marvel.
[00:59:51] Henry Cavill is iconically known for playing the man of steel, like in the man of steel.
[00:59:57] Wait, he was in that.
[00:59:58] Yeah.
[00:59:58] He was in the man of steel.
[00:59:59] Spoiler.
[01:00:00] Wow.
[01:00:01] Really?
[01:00:01] He had a really small role.
[01:00:02] He was barely in it.
[01:00:05] He surprised fans when he played Wolverine, uh, Wolverine variant in Deadpool and Wolverine.
[01:00:10] The rumor Henry Cavill is in talks for a full role in the MCU.
[01:00:16] I mean, he's got, I thought he didn't eat bread.
[01:00:20] He's just going to shove it down somebody's throat.
[01:00:23] Wolverine is still a possibility or Captain Britain, maybe might finally make his MCU
[01:00:28] debut tacos on the table.
[01:00:30] Are we about to get the Marvel Cavillmatic universe?
[01:00:34] Absolutely.
[01:00:34] Tacos are on the table.
[01:00:35] 100%.
[01:00:35] He's being recast as every character in X-Men.
[01:00:38] Yes, that would work.
[01:00:40] He'd be an amazing Emma Frost.
[01:00:42] He would.
[01:00:42] Uh, he'd be the best rogue.
[01:00:46] He'd be a really good Lockheed.
[01:00:48] He'd be a really good Lockheed.
[01:00:50] Okay.
[01:00:51] He's just a dragon, but it's Kevin Henry Cavill.
[01:00:53] You want to say something?
[01:00:54] For once, you're the serious one and we're doing the tangents.
[01:00:57] So what, what do you have?
[01:00:59] I've never really wanted him to play Captain Britain.
[01:01:02] Okay.
[01:01:02] Really?
[01:01:03] I do not want him as Captain Britain.
[01:01:05] Hot take.
[01:01:06] But.
[01:01:06] So who would you want him to?
[01:01:07] I'm kind of coming around to it because you're probably not going to cast anybody else as
[01:01:12] Captain Britain.
[01:01:13] So.
[01:01:14] I want a young person.
[01:01:15] I want a younger person to play Captain Britain.
[01:01:18] And Brian Braddock is blonde.
[01:01:20] Have him, have him play, uh, Scott Summers.
[01:01:22] He can, he can be the, the, he can be the, the, the jackass who, who, who abandons his children.
[01:01:28] There you go.
[01:01:29] The abandoned death.
[01:01:30] No, I, you know, I think Cavill would be great if he wants to come over to the MCU.
[01:01:35] I think that would be amazing.
[01:01:37] Uh, it seems like mutants are the, the new, uh, thing to cast right now.
[01:01:41] So I wouldn't mind seeing him.
[01:01:44] I wouldn't mind say if they decide to recast cable, I would love him as cable.
[01:01:47] I think he'd be great in that.
[01:01:49] I think he would be, um, really good.
[01:01:52] I, you know, he wants to play Wolverine.
[01:01:54] Let him play Wolverine.
[01:01:55] I mean, it's not like that's a good deal, but, um, yeah, I could see it.
[01:01:59] I think it would be great.
[01:02:00] Uh, you know?
[01:02:01] Yeah.
[01:02:01] Yeah.
[01:02:02] I actually thought he's not doing anything right now.
[01:02:04] So, you know, go for it.
[01:02:05] Yeah, absolutely.
[01:02:06] Nothing.
[01:02:07] Uh, right.
[01:02:08] Jen, what does your curl think of this?
[01:02:09] My curl says.
[01:02:11] Mary Campbell's a little bitch.
[01:02:14] Oh, okay.
[01:02:15] Oh my God.
[01:02:16] Sassy curl.
[01:02:18] Let's keep it moving.
[01:02:20] All righty.
[01:02:23] Wow.
[01:02:24] All right.
[01:02:24] Well, let's, uh, let's move on to this last rumor that we have here.
[01:02:27] Trading in their claws and katanas for some tuxedos.
[01:02:31] Deadpool and Wolverine duo.
[01:02:33] Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman may be let's fucking going to the Oscars.
[01:02:39] Woo.
[01:02:40] Woo.
[01:02:40] Let's fucking go.
[01:02:43] Woo.
[01:02:43] Woo.
[01:02:45] All right.
[01:02:45] Everybody slow down.
[01:02:46] I look like a little girl.
[01:02:47] The best bubs who guest hosted an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live over the summer are reportedly
[01:02:54] in the mix to take over for Kimmel again.
[01:02:56] This time as the co-host of the 2025 Oscars.
[01:03:00] After four-time host and presenter John, uh, Kimmel and presenter John Mulaney both passed
[01:03:06] on the gig.
[01:03:07] ABC is considering on an ensemble of rotating hosts.
[01:03:11] The Disney owned network is a synergistic move has reportedly approached golden globes,
[01:03:17] favorite Amy Poehler and Dwayne the rock Johnson as also additional hosts.
[01:03:25] Oh my goodness.
[01:03:27] The Oscars just became the thing to see the night.
[01:03:31] The 97 would love that.
[01:03:32] Oh my God.
[01:03:33] It'd be so great.
[01:03:34] So great.
[01:03:34] The 97th Oscars will air Sunday, March 2nd, 2025 on ABC.
[01:03:38] Talk is on the table.
[01:03:39] Will we get a multiverse of hosts for the next Oscars?
[01:03:44] What do you think, John?
[01:03:45] You know that Hugh Jackman has hosted the Oscars before.
[01:03:49] Yeah.
[01:03:49] A couple times.
[01:03:51] We're talking about a multiverse.
[01:03:52] But he's done it already.
[01:03:54] Yeah.
[01:03:54] No, James doesn't care about Ryan Reynolds or Hugh Jackman.
[01:03:57] All he cares about is...
[01:04:01] Yeah, but the big thing.
[01:04:04] Rotating hosts has actually been something that other award shows have done in the past.
[01:04:10] It's worked very well.
[01:04:11] I have no problem with it.
[01:04:13] I think it would be great.
[01:04:14] So my tacos are on the table.
[01:04:15] They are not golden tacos or gold plated or whatever the Oscars are made of these days.
[01:04:21] Platinum.
[01:04:22] I don't know.
[01:04:23] Rose gold.
[01:04:23] Got it.
[01:04:24] Young Phil.
[01:04:24] Yeah, rose gold edition.
[01:04:26] My tacos are also on the table.
[01:04:27] I think it would be a good idea for them to have rotating hosts and just have people who
[01:04:32] are just throwing jokes out there and it be completely, you know, something different
[01:04:36] than what you expect.
[01:04:37] So...
[01:04:37] Mm-hmm.
[01:04:38] Mm-hmm.
[01:04:38] Oh, God.
[01:04:39] Christopher Neal said no Ricky Gervais.
[01:04:41] No.
[01:04:41] No.
[01:04:42] We ain't going back.
[01:04:43] It would be a...
[01:04:45] Like, basically, it'd be a whole, like, showcase of Hollywood if they did it that way.
[01:04:50] And I think that'd be fun.
[01:04:51] Yeah, absolutely.
[01:04:51] You know, it's always more fun when you have more people involved when they're celebrities.
[01:04:56] I just feel like that.
[01:04:58] Yeah.
[01:04:58] Yeah.
[01:04:58] Keep it fresh.
[01:04:59] Keep it moving.
[01:05:00] I like it.
[01:05:01] Mm-hmm.
[01:05:01] Tater said Chavo Jr. should host the show.
[01:05:04] Chavo Jr.
[01:05:04] By the way, just to go back on what Jen was saying.
[01:05:06] So Hugh Jackman hosted the 81st Oscars in 2009.
[01:05:12] He appeared as a presenter in 2002, 2007, 2011.
[01:05:18] And he also hosted the 59th Annual Tony Awards in 2005 and 2014.
[01:05:24] Yeah.
[01:05:25] He's done a lot of hosting.
[01:05:26] Yeah, let's do it.
[01:05:27] I like it.
[01:05:27] Was that our last rumor?
[01:05:28] That was our last rumor.
[01:05:30] So, ladies and gentlemen, let's jump into this.
[01:05:33] The rumors are all done, but the news is just getting started.
[01:05:36] It is now time for the download.
[01:05:47] For more news, trailers, rumors, reactions, check out the Distance Nerdington post on Facebook.
[01:05:54] Let us know what you're nerding out on.
[01:05:56] Check out the trailers.
[01:05:57] Make it a discussion.
[01:05:58] Hang out.
[01:05:59] Talk.
[01:05:59] Let's get into it.
[01:06:01] All right.
[01:06:01] From giddy up to surf sup, Kevin Costner has found a new film project to work on following
[01:06:08] the first two films in his Horizon and American Saga Western epic.
[01:06:12] He is set to star in, co-write, and produce the tropical surf thriller Headhunters.
[01:06:19] That sounds like a Kevin Costner movie.
[01:06:22] What is happening?
[01:06:23] Oh, my goodness.
[01:06:25] In the film, Costner will play a washed-up American expat with a mysterious past who winds
[01:06:32] up living in Bali, Indonesia.
[01:06:35] What?
[01:06:35] Yeah.
[01:06:36] I think Costner just wants to vacation in Bali.
[01:06:39] That's probably what it is.
[01:06:40] Co-write, produce, and star in the film.
[01:06:43] Okay.
[01:06:44] I do have a giddy up to surf sup, Opsis.
[01:06:48] This isn't Iowa synopsis.
[01:06:53] James is on point with the writing tonight.
[01:06:55] Giddy up to surf sup, Opsis.
[01:06:57] This isn't Iowa synopsis.
[01:07:00] Synopsis.
[01:07:02] In the story, he gathers a group of surfers led by a local photographer to find the perfect
[01:07:09] wave at an uncharted island, which winds up being the domicile to an ancient tribe of
[01:07:15] headhunters who are protecting their land at all costs.
[01:07:19] This sounds like, you know, like 11 o'clock on a Friday night, and you go to Blockbuster,
[01:07:24] and you're like, what's left on the wall?
[01:07:26] And it's like, oh, headhunters.
[01:07:28] What is this?
[01:07:29] Yeah.
[01:07:29] And then you go, well, we wanted to watch a movie.
[01:07:32] Well, I guess it's got Kevin Costner in it.
[01:07:34] So let's watch it.
[01:07:36] No date when the surf's up for headhunters.
[01:07:38] Deadhunters.
[01:07:39] God.
[01:07:40] I have two questions.
[01:07:41] Okay.
[01:07:42] Go for it before we move on.
[01:07:43] We have not two answers.
[01:07:44] Okay.
[01:07:45] The first one is, where can I get the coat that he's wearing in the photo?
[01:07:50] And second.
[01:07:51] Yes.
[01:07:52] Oh, there's a Western store out there that has that coat.
[01:07:55] I guarantee it.
[01:07:56] And then the second one is, isn't this just, what's the, Dances with Wolves?
[01:08:02] Like, the tropical edition?
[01:08:04] Isn't that like every movie Kevin Costner does nowadays?
[01:08:07] It's just Dances with Wolves all over again?
[01:08:09] Dances with Wolves on the beach?
[01:08:11] When he's not being Louis L'Amour.
[01:08:13] Yeah.
[01:08:13] All the frickin' Westerns.
[01:08:14] I mean, yay, headhunters.
[01:08:16] Let's move on.
[01:08:17] Let's move on.
[01:08:18] Some Kevin Smith news.
[01:08:19] Yay!
[01:08:21] Yay!
[01:08:25] I do have to say this right now.
[01:08:27] This is my favorite Kevin Smith movie.
[01:08:29] So, Kevin Smith recently announced that his 1999 religious comedy, Dogma, will be getting
[01:08:36] a theatrical re-release and it's also coming to Blu-ray.
[01:08:39] Now you can do the yay.
[01:08:41] Yay!
[01:08:46] Smith says he will take a print of the film on tour next year after it was rescued from
[01:08:52] its years-long limbo and that its new owners contacted Smith right away about making new
[01:08:59] Blu-rays and re-releasing the movie in 2025.
[01:09:02] Cue the yay.
[01:09:03] Yay!
[01:09:07] The movie's been bought away from the guy that had it for years and whatnot.
[01:09:12] It wasn't that the guy that got the-
[01:09:15] Weinstein?
[01:09:16] Weinstein, yeah.
[01:09:17] Yeah.
[01:09:17] Yeah.
[01:09:17] I thank you for doing that so that I didn't say the other stuff.
[01:09:20] The company that bought it, we met with them a couple months ago.
[01:09:24] They were like, would you be interested in re-releasing it and touring it like you do with
[01:09:28] your movies?
[01:09:28] I said, 100%, are you kidding me?
[01:09:31] Touring a movie that I know people like and it's sentimental and nostalgic?
[01:09:34] We'll clean up!
[01:09:36] No dates when the Dogma tour will come down to earth.
[01:09:40] Before we move on to the next story, he told this story at the-
[01:09:45] Chronicon.
[01:09:46] Well, I'm sure he did at Chronicon too, but when we saw him at LA Comic-Con when he was
[01:09:52] on stage, he told this story as well.
[01:09:54] Somebody asked him about Dogma and he said, oh yeah, no, we got it back from Weinstein.
[01:09:58] So it's coming out and we're going to be touring with it.
[01:10:02] So very excited for that.
[01:10:03] So Husby the other day says to me, you know Matt Damon?
[01:10:07] And I was like, yeah, I know Matt Damon.
[01:10:08] Matt Damon.
[01:10:09] And he was like, yeah, you know, and he played Loki.
[01:10:13] He was an Asgardian actor that played Loki in Thor, Love and Thunder and then Ragnarok.
[01:10:22] And then he said, and you know, he played Loki, the angel in Dogma.
[01:10:26] And I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah, I knew that.
[01:10:28] And he was like, I forgot all about that.
[01:10:30] So was it Loki and Barnaby?
[01:10:32] Yeah, it was.
[01:10:33] It was well-timed.
[01:10:34] I was just like, oh, that's so cute.
[01:10:36] So yeah, no, I'm very excited for this.
[01:10:38] It's a very funny movie.
[01:10:40] Very good.
[01:10:42] I loved it.
[01:10:43] I didn't love the shit monster scene, but I loved the movie.
[01:10:47] You mean you didn't like the shit monster from Golgotha?
[01:10:50] No.
[01:10:51] You got to take it all.
[01:10:53] Got to take it all in.
[01:10:54] No, I don't.
[01:10:54] I can reject any piece of it that I want.
[01:10:57] No fast forwarding.
[01:10:58] No skipping.
[01:10:58] And if she wants to reject the shit monster, she can do that.
[01:11:01] I can reject a shit monster.
[01:11:03] Repent against the shit monster.
[01:11:05] That is my right as a human.
[01:11:08] Repent your shit.
[01:11:09] Okay.
[01:11:10] Are you not entertained?
[01:11:12] No.
[01:11:13] Because I have more entertainment coming.
[01:11:16] And now, more entertainment to entertain you.
[01:11:19] A couple of weeks ago, Riddick Scott revealed that he is looking to continue the Gladiator
[01:11:24] franchise with a third film and that he's already lit the fuse on the next chapter of
[01:11:30] his historical epic.
[01:11:32] Scott offered an update saying that he's already started writing.
[01:11:35] I've already got eight pages.
[01:11:36] I've got the beginning of a very good footprint.
[01:11:40] In the meantime, Gladiator 2 will look to entertain you when it hits theaters on November
[01:11:45] 22nd.
[01:11:46] I save the third one steampunk all the way.
[01:11:50] Oh, God.
[01:11:51] Steampunk Gladiator?
[01:11:52] No, there's going to be aliens.
[01:11:53] There's going to be aliens in it.
[01:11:55] That tracks with Riddick Scott.
[01:11:58] But moving on, more sword movies to entertain you.
[01:12:02] Entertain me.
[01:12:03] Entertain you.
[01:12:04] Are you not entertained?
[01:12:05] Are you not entertained?
[01:12:07] Apparently not.
[01:12:08] Why are you all yelling at me?
[01:12:10] We're trying to entertain you.
[01:12:12] Are you not entertained?
[01:12:14] You know, good acting doesn't mean loud acting.
[01:12:17] No.
[01:12:18] No, they said this was good.
[01:12:20] Are you not entertained?
[01:12:22] I know the thing, okay?
[01:12:24] I know.
[01:12:25] I know.
[01:12:25] I know.
[01:12:26] It's a line from the movie.
[01:12:28] Is it?
[01:12:32] I don't know.
[01:12:33] I don't know.
[01:12:36] I don't know.
[01:12:57] They're wearing their shirts off and they're really sweaty.
[01:12:59] And it's nice looking guys.
[01:13:02] I'm going to watch it.
[01:13:03] I mean, it's just going to happen.
[01:13:05] All right.
[01:13:05] Well, we're already moving on to that franchise.
[01:13:08] And the classic Sega video game franchise Shinobi is getting a feature film adaptation
[01:13:13] at Universal Pictures with Sam Hargrave set to direct.
[01:13:17] No date release.
[01:13:18] No release date when the action fill will sidescroll.
[01:13:22] God.
[01:13:22] Were you having a stroke when you wrote this?
[01:13:27] I'm going to read the words.
[01:13:29] No date release when the action fill will sidescroll.
[01:13:33] Film.
[01:13:33] Film.
[01:13:34] You can't.
[01:13:34] It's an M.
[01:13:35] Put an M there.
[01:13:36] Are you not entertained when there's no M?
[01:13:39] Film.
[01:13:40] Now it says film.
[01:13:41] Oh, my God.
[01:13:42] This guy.
[01:13:43] All right.
[01:13:44] Anchorman.
[01:13:45] Oh, God.
[01:13:46] No release date when the action film will sidescroll its way into theaters.
[01:13:51] Is there anything else I could do for you?
[01:13:53] Can I make the font bigger for you?
[01:13:55] Yeah.
[01:13:56] Your glasses are dirty.
[01:13:57] Fucking blind.
[01:13:58] Jesus, this guy.
[01:14:01] Jesus.
[01:14:02] All right.
[01:14:03] Moving on.
[01:14:03] Next story.
[01:14:04] From swords to sweep the leg, Johnny.
[01:14:07] The title.
[01:14:08] The title.
[01:14:09] Coming.
[01:14:10] Coming around.
[01:14:11] Machio.
[01:14:12] And Jackie Chan Karate Kid movie has been revealed.
[01:14:17] To be Karate Kid legends.
[01:14:20] Yeah.
[01:14:23] And there will be a panel for the film that fans can attend at New York Comic Con.
[01:14:28] New York City.
[01:14:29] What the?
[01:14:30] Comic Con.
[01:14:31] American-born Chinese actor Ben Wang will be taking on the role of the next Karate Kid in
[01:14:37] the movie.
[01:14:38] Wang is fluent in Mandarin and is skilled in many forms of martial arts, including karate,
[01:14:44] wing chun, kung fu, gumbo.
[01:14:47] Gumdo.
[01:14:48] Gumdo.
[01:14:48] Gumdo.
[01:14:49] That's totally different than gumbo and that green guy.
[01:14:54] Kimpo and taekwondo.
[01:14:56] It's Gumby.
[01:14:57] I know.
[01:15:00] Oh, God.
[01:15:02] The cast of Karate Kid legends will also include Ming-Na Wen and Joshua Jackson.
[01:15:08] Ming-Na Wen is in everything and I'm all for it all the time.
[01:15:12] When I first read like Ming, I was like, Ming Chen?
[01:15:14] Shit.
[01:15:17] You got your wrong Chinese actor.
[01:15:19] Ah!
[01:15:21] I'm exhausted.
[01:15:22] There are no details to share on the story, but Machio will reprise his role as Daniel LaRusso
[01:15:29] and Chan will take on the role of Mr. Han, the kung fu master from the Jaden Smith movie.
[01:15:36] The Sony film will crane kick its way into theaters on May 30th, 2025.
[01:15:42] Oh, God.
[01:15:43] All right.
[01:15:45] This is good.
[01:15:46] The movie is great, but we need to really seriously reset ourselves because we're so screwed.
[01:15:52] We are not entertaining.
[01:15:54] Okay.
[01:15:55] On to some wild news.
[01:15:58] DreamWorks Animations, the wild robot, has crossed the 100 million mark at the box office globally.
[01:16:04] Now, the wild robot filmmaker Chris Sanders confirmed that a sequel is currently in development at DreamWorks Animation.
[01:16:12] The wild robot is wiling out now in theaters.
[01:16:15] I heard it was really good.
[01:16:16] I heard it was really cute.
[01:16:17] I have never heard of this movie.
[01:16:19] I actually heard it was really good, too.
[01:16:21] Like the box office on this was actually the gate was actually really high.
[01:16:25] It was a surprise.
[01:16:26] Oh, really?
[01:16:26] Yeah.
[01:16:27] Well, I mean, I want to see it like because it's got a fox in it and talking to a robot.
[01:16:31] Apparently, it's mostly the robot trying to like figure out how to
[01:16:33] survive in the wilderness.
[01:16:35] It's great.
[01:16:35] Oh, wow.
[01:16:36] I know that's going to make me cry.
[01:16:37] I don't know if I'm going to see it.
[01:16:38] I heard a lot of people cried.
[01:16:40] A lot of, you know.
[01:16:40] Yeah, I can't.
[01:16:41] That's the thing.
[01:16:42] Like, I haven't watched Chappie and I haven't watched District 9 because I don't want to
[01:16:48] see that kind of struggle.
[01:16:50] And for some reason, I'm more empathetic to robots and aliens than I am to human beings.
[01:16:56] And foxes.
[01:16:57] I love foxes.
[01:16:58] Exactly.
[01:16:59] And by the way, that fox is played by Pedro Pascal.
[01:17:02] So maybe she go see the movie now.
[01:17:05] But I would have really confusing feelings for the foxes then.
[01:17:09] Yeah.
[01:17:09] She was like, I'm attracted to this fox and I don't know why.
[01:17:11] Yeah.
[01:17:12] I'm not a furry.
[01:17:13] I don't do that.
[01:17:15] Well, speaking of wild news.
[01:17:18] Speaking of wild news.
[01:17:21] Henry Cavill is set to star in Amazon MGM's feature film adaptation of the classic animated
[01:17:27] series Voltron.
[01:17:28] No word on who he will be playing, but it's cool to learn that he's joined the project.
[01:17:33] The movie is being directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber from Red Notice, Red Skyscraper, and
[01:17:38] Central Intelligence from a script he wrote with Ellen Shanman.
[01:17:42] Shanman.
[01:17:43] Shanman.
[01:17:43] Shanman?
[01:17:44] Shanman.
[01:17:44] Let's say Shanman.
[01:17:45] By the way, Red Notice, Skyscraper, Central Intelligence.
[01:17:49] Those are all the rock movies.
[01:17:52] Yeah, so the rock's going to be in this movie.
[01:17:54] Well, Red Notice was also a Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds movie, too.
[01:17:58] But all James cares about is that the rock was in it, so.
[01:18:02] I know.
[01:18:10] I'm excited for a not an official synopsis, Opsis Youngfield.
[01:18:14] Don't get your lions in a roar synopsis.
[01:18:17] Okay.
[01:18:18] I see what you did there.
[01:18:19] Not an official synopsis, Opsis.
[01:18:22] Me.
[01:18:22] Don't get your lions in a roar synopsis.
[01:18:26] Synopsis.
[01:18:26] Yes.
[01:18:28] Voltron, defender of the universe, follows five young pilots in a battalion named the
[01:18:33] Robot Lions, which are vehicles that join together to form a mega robot known as Voltron.
[01:18:39] Together they fight against Emperor Zarkon, the cruel leader of the Galra Empire, who for
[01:18:45] over 10,000 years has been searching the universe for the Voltron Lions.
[01:18:50] No date on when Jen's curl is going to hate on Henry Cavill for being in a Voltron movie
[01:18:58] that forms in a theater.
[01:19:00] James will be the head.
[01:19:01] Okay, wait.
[01:19:02] Hey, curl.
[01:19:02] What do you feel about Voltron and Henry Cavill?
[01:19:06] Henry Cavill's a little bitch.
[01:19:07] Oh, my God.
[01:19:09] I think the curl should have like an accent.
[01:19:11] Like.
[01:19:12] What kind?
[01:19:12] Maybe like, I don't know.
[01:19:14] Eastern European?
[01:19:15] I don't know.
[01:19:15] Where's your curl from?
[01:19:16] I don't think I can do Eastern.
[01:19:17] Okay.
[01:19:17] Maybe I can.
[01:19:18] Henry Cavill is bitch.
[01:19:22] I like that.
[01:19:23] Okay, I like that.
[01:19:24] I like that Say Wong said he's going to be Emperor Diabazal or he's going to be Zarkon.
[01:19:28] I actually, I would like that.
[01:19:29] I would like Henry Cavill to play the villain because I think he can play over the top like
[01:19:34] that.
[01:19:35] So Voltron doesn't turn into cars, right?
[01:19:37] No.
[01:19:38] They turn into cars.
[01:19:38] Not this version.
[01:19:39] There is a version that does drive, turn into, there is a version of Voltron that turns
[01:19:44] into cars.
[01:19:45] Like 52 cars.
[01:19:47] It's not, we don't like to talk about it very much.
[01:19:50] Okay.
[01:19:50] All right.
[01:19:50] Well, okay, but it's like different things come together to make Voltron.
[01:19:55] Is that, is that the thing?
[01:19:56] Lions.
[01:19:57] Think Power Rangers.
[01:19:57] Think Power Rangers.
[01:19:59] So think, you know, Power Rangers.
[01:20:00] So you know the Zords in Power Rangers, how they would be like different animals that
[01:20:03] would form into the giant robot?
[01:20:04] Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[01:20:05] It's the same thing.
[01:20:05] It's five mini robots that form together to make one giant super bot.
[01:20:09] Like in the Venture Brothers when they had the, they made the robot and one of them
[01:20:15] was a clown and.
[01:20:17] Yes, that was a, um, that was a parody.
[01:20:20] Of, of Voltron.
[01:20:21] Or in Rick and Morty.
[01:20:22] They did that too.
[01:20:23] Yes, they did it in Rick and Morty.
[01:20:24] They did do it in Rick and Morty where he was, uh, it was literally the, the, what,
[01:20:28] uh, Emperor, what Emperor's, it was literally what Emperor Zarkon was trying to do.
[01:20:33] He was, he was searching the, the universe for the five robots.
[01:20:37] Right?
[01:20:37] Okay.
[01:20:37] All right.
[01:20:38] Yeah.
[01:20:38] Rick had been searching the universe for the five robots and found them.
[01:20:41] And he was like, no, we got to put them together and make the giant robot.
[01:20:44] And then they went and like fought a whole bunch of people.
[01:20:46] So like, yeah.
[01:20:48] And then it was like, uh, they wouldn't listen to Jerry and he was with the black one.
[01:20:53] And they were like, no, shut up, Jerry.
[01:20:56] Uh, Aaron Watson said, you bite your tongue, ma'am.
[01:20:58] Henry, Henry is a global treasure.
[01:21:00] Speak to the curl, Aaron.
[01:21:03] Speak to the curl.
[01:21:06] Loading up the lion arms.
[01:21:09] That wasn't my definition of clown hand.
[01:21:12] Uh, clown hand.
[01:21:14] Is that like a stranger?
[01:21:15] You may be looking at different sites.
[01:21:18] All right.
[01:21:18] Clown knows involved.
[01:21:19] Jesus.
[01:21:20] I'll have to tell you guys some of the, uh,
[01:21:22] clown shoes, a stranger thing.
[01:21:24] Anyway, uh, news makes me feel good.
[01:21:29] On to some busting news.
[01:21:30] Busting what?
[01:21:32] Ghostbusters, Frozen Empire writer and director Gil Keenan has confirmed that they're looking
[01:21:37] to make more Ghostbusters sequels.
[01:21:39] During an interview with the direct Keenan said, Jason, we take the responsibility and
[01:21:44] the joy of being the keepers of the flame of Ghostbusters very seriously.
[01:21:48] We definitely are continuing the conversation of telling big Ghostbusters stories on the big
[01:21:53] screen and stay tuned.
[01:21:55] There'll be more.
[01:21:56] There'll be more about that later.
[01:21:58] Well, that was a non-answer.
[01:22:00] Okay.
[01:22:00] There is also a new Ghostbusters animated series coming to Netflix, which is being overseen
[01:22:05] by Reitman and Keenan.
[01:22:07] There's also an animated feature film that's been in development.
[01:22:10] And yeah, I think, yeah.
[01:22:12] I'm excited for it.
[01:22:13] Ghostbusters.
[01:22:13] Yeah.
[01:22:14] Yeah.
[01:22:14] I'm excited for it.
[01:22:15] I know Se Wong's probably excited for it because he is a massive, massive, massive Ghostbusters
[01:22:20] fan.
[01:22:21] Massive.
[01:22:22] Massive.
[01:22:22] Massive.
[01:22:23] Massive.
[01:22:23] Massive.
[01:22:24] Well, moving on to the next story here, just to piss off Se Wong and not put any time
[01:22:28] on it.
[01:22:28] Ohana means family.
[01:22:30] Also means freaky.
[01:22:34] Blue punch buggy.
[01:22:36] All right.
[01:22:36] Disney.
[01:22:37] The girl was impressed with that.
[01:22:39] Good.
[01:22:39] Good.
[01:22:39] Be impressed.
[01:22:40] Right.
[01:22:41] Cute and fluffy.
[01:22:44] Disney has given release dates in the summer of 2025.
[01:22:49] The live action adaptation of Lilo and Stitch will fly into theaters on May 23rd of 2025
[01:22:54] Memorial Day weekend, just in time to kick off the summer.
[01:22:57] Well, the sequel for Freaky Friday, Freakier Friday, is going to get theatrical.
[01:23:02] It's going to get theaters freaky on August 8th of 2025.
[01:23:06] Oh, that's cool.
[01:23:07] So it's like they're bookending it.
[01:23:09] Yeah.
[01:23:10] Dysfunctional female relationship in the beginning and dysfunctional female relationship at the
[01:23:15] end.
[01:23:15] Perfect.
[01:23:16] Perfect.
[01:23:16] I think whoever put my name on this one, again, realized James had a stroke when he wrote this.
[01:23:24] Just read it.
[01:23:25] It all made sense.
[01:23:27] All you had to do was read it without stumbling.
[01:23:28] What made it bad is when you stumbled.
[01:23:30] But still, I like to be entertained.
[01:23:32] So it's perfect.
[01:23:33] Entertained.
[01:23:34] On to some streaming news.
[01:23:36] Whoa.
[01:23:37] You want to do that?
[01:23:38] You want to do that?
[01:23:39] Go ahead.
[01:23:39] I can't do that one.
[01:23:41] On to some streaming news.
[01:23:42] Whoa.
[01:23:43] Hello, Raggy.
[01:23:45] There you go.
[01:23:45] Okay.
[01:23:46] Max has confirmed that it's adult themed Scooby-Doo inspired animated series.
[01:23:52] Velma has been canceled.
[01:23:56] Ouch.
[01:23:56] Max has released a statement saying, over the past two seasons, Mindy Kaling and Charlie
[01:24:02] Grandy have created an incredibly fun and fresh world within the iconic whodunit franchise.
[01:24:08] While we won't be moving forward with another season of the series, we thank them for their
[01:24:13] compelling coming-of-age storytelling, unrivaled clues, and hilarious hijinks.
[01:24:19] In summary, zoinks.
[01:24:22] Zoinks.
[01:24:22] Like, zoinks.
[01:24:24] Goodbye, Scooby-Doo.
[01:24:25] Two-piece.
[01:24:26] Like, zoinks.
[01:24:27] Bye, Velma.
[01:24:28] Oh.
[01:24:29] Did Velma.
[01:24:30] Wait, did anybody watch it?
[01:24:31] I mean, two seasons.
[01:24:31] I watched the first season.
[01:24:34] Husby watched both seasons.
[01:24:36] And, yeah.
[01:24:36] I could...
[01:24:37] Like, after the third episode of the second season, I was like, I can't do this.
[01:24:41] I can't.
[01:24:41] I can't.
[01:24:41] I...
[01:24:42] I'm afraid to switch back over to the chat because I feel like Say Wong is, like, destroying
[01:24:48] this and going, like, thank you, God.
[01:24:49] This show sucked.
[01:24:52] No, um...
[01:24:52] So, what do you not like about it?
[01:24:53] Oh, no.
[01:24:53] It's actually Aaron Watson.
[01:24:55] Yeah, Aaron Watson is taking up that mantle.
[01:24:59] I did not watch it.
[01:25:01] And it's not because...
[01:25:02] Out of lack of, like, oh, I don't want to watch this.
[01:25:04] Usually, I want to watch things that people say suck to get my own opinion on it.
[01:25:08] Never got a chance to watch it because there's so much shit that we need to watch.
[01:25:11] That's just like...
[01:25:12] They took a backseat.
[01:25:13] Oh, there we go.
[01:25:14] Say Wong right there.
[01:25:15] It was so bad.
[01:25:16] Thank the Lord.
[01:25:17] Oh, what?
[01:25:20] I...
[01:25:20] You know, I thought the first season was pretty good, but the second season didn't really add
[01:25:24] that much.
[01:25:25] It was just more of the same.
[01:25:26] And I feel like if you're going to do something like that, it should be a little...
[01:25:32] You should crank it up a little.
[01:25:33] And they didn't, in my opinion.
[01:25:35] You were not entertained?
[01:25:36] No.
[01:25:37] That's why I stopped watching it.
[01:25:39] All right.
[01:25:39] Sorry.
[01:25:40] We can keep going.
[01:25:41] Oh, God.
[01:25:41] Yeah, let's move on to the next story here.
[01:25:43] Let's Bridger-ton our way over to some Netflix news.
[01:25:49] Oh, shit.
[01:25:49] I wasn't ready for it.
[01:25:51] There we go.
[01:25:52] Netflix is developing a new series adaptation of Jane Austen's iconic novel, Pride and Prejudice.
[01:25:58] And it's being scripted by Everything I Know About Love creator Dolly Alderton.
[01:26:03] If the project gets the official green light, it will be Netflix's first Austin adaptation since 2022's Persuasion, which starred Dakota Johnson.
[01:26:12] I am a huge Jane Austen fan.
[01:26:14] I'm a huge Jane Austen fan to the point where I went to Bath in England and went to some of the places that they have filmed some of the movies in and went to the Jane Austen Society.
[01:26:25] And I may have pictures of me in a Jane Austen style dress.
[01:26:28] That you will post after this show ends.
[01:26:31] Oh, yeah.
[01:26:31] That's probably not going to happen.
[01:26:33] You went to England to take a bath?
[01:26:35] Is that a thing?
[01:26:36] Well, okay.
[01:26:37] I didn't actually take a bath in Bath, believe it or not.
[01:26:41] But there are Roman baths there, but we couldn't go in it or drink the water because it was poisoned at that point.
[01:26:47] Who wants to drink bath water?
[01:26:49] Well, that's why people used to go to Bath was to drink the water.
[01:26:52] They felt it had health benefits.
[01:26:54] We are getting way off topic here.
[01:26:56] But, yes, I like, I love Jane Austen.
[01:27:01] I do enjoy the Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite books by her.
[01:27:05] Persuasion is actually my favorite book.
[01:27:07] I did see the Dakota Johnson version.
[01:27:09] I did actually like it.
[01:27:11] It had Cosmo Jarvis in it, who was in Shogun.
[01:27:15] Right, right, right.
[01:27:16] Oh, okay.
[01:27:16] And he was the guy, the Anjin in Shogun.
[01:27:20] But, yeah.
[01:27:20] So, I definitely need to get Netflix again, I guess.
[01:27:25] Yeah, she's excited for Netflix.
[01:27:32] Netflix cracked the code.
[01:27:34] How are we going to get more female viewers?
[01:27:36] How are we going to get Jen to subscribe again?
[01:27:39] Let's throw period pieces out there.
[01:27:41] However many scenes we want.
[01:27:43] Just keep it going.
[01:27:44] Exactly.
[01:27:44] Haven't ever seen Bridgerton, though.
[01:27:46] What?
[01:27:47] I've heard it's amazing.
[01:27:48] I've seen more Bridgerton than you.
[01:27:50] That's nuts.
[01:27:51] Well, let's keep it moving, guys.
[01:27:53] Over to Peacock News.
[01:27:57] Oh, wrong one.
[01:27:58] That's what she said.
[01:27:59] That's what she said.
[01:28:01] Peacock's The Office Universe expansion from creators and executive producers Greg Daniels and Michael Komen.
[01:28:07] Komen has added four new actors to its cast.
[01:28:11] They include, oh my goodness, Gabesilola?
[01:28:16] Philippe, help me out.
[01:28:18] Gabemisola?
[01:28:20] Gabemisola?
[01:28:21] Gabemisola?
[01:28:22] Gabemisola?
[01:28:23] Gabemisola?
[01:28:23] Gabemisola from Black Ops.
[01:28:25] Alex Edelman?
[01:28:27] Tim Key?
[01:28:28] And Eric Rahill?
[01:28:31] Gabemisola?
[01:28:32] Gabemisola, Edelman, and Rahill also serve as writers on the as-yet-untitled mockumentary set in the same universe as Daniels' embassy hit The Office.
[01:28:41] Details regarding the characters are still under wraps.
[01:28:44] Didn't Mindy Kaling and a couple other people start out as writers?
[01:28:49] Yes.
[01:28:49] And then they transition into supporting actors?
[01:28:51] Well, Ed Helms was a writer too, wasn't he?
[01:28:53] Yeah, that's right.
[01:28:54] Yeah, he was a writer.
[01:28:56] I want to say Carell wasn't a writer, but I think he was in the room and did some stuff for them.
[01:29:04] But yeah, there were some that they were writers that came on to the show.
[01:29:08] Yeah.
[01:29:08] Yeah.
[01:29:09] So in the new comedy, the documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch is searching for a new subject when they discover a dying historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it with volunteer reporters.
[01:29:26] The new Universal Television Produced series will be coming fall 2025.
[01:29:33] That's what she said!
[01:29:35] Okay.
[01:29:36] All right.
[01:29:38] Nice job.
[01:29:39] Well, moving on to the next story here.
[01:29:41] Over to some monster Apple TV Plus news.
[01:29:44] Amber Midthunder, known for her roles in Legion, Roswell, New Mexico, and Prey, has signed on to star in season two of the Apple TV Plus sci-fi action series Monarch Legacy of Monsters.
[01:29:58] She joins season one cast members that include Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell.
[01:30:02] It was renewed in April with Apple and Legendary also striking a deal to develop multiple spinoffs.
[01:30:08] It is the latest expansion of the legendary MonsterVerse following the success of the films Godzilla, Kong, Skull Island, Godzilla King of the Monsters, Godzilla vs. Kong, and Godzilla X Kong The New Empire.
[01:30:21] How do you feel about this?
[01:30:22] I know you've watched.
[01:30:24] So this is the reason that I wanted to read this one specifically is because season one was amazing.
[01:30:29] I don't know if you guys watched, either of you guys watched it, but it was weird.
[01:30:32] It's on my list.
[01:30:32] It's really good.
[01:30:33] It was surprisingly better than I was expecting it to be.
[01:30:38] Is he at all Johnny Mayo in it?
[01:30:41] He 100% is the same character.
[01:30:43] Oh, okay.
[01:30:45] But basically what they're doing-
[01:30:47] And he still has a shield?
[01:30:48] That's weird.
[01:30:49] Yeah, I know.
[01:30:49] He still has a shield.
[01:30:50] What they're doing is the story itself takes place concurrently in the past and in the present.
[01:30:58] Oh, and so he plays-
[01:31:00] He's playing his dad.
[01:31:01] He plays his dad?
[01:31:02] He's playing a younger version of his dad.
[01:31:03] Oh, that's kind of cool.
[01:31:04] Yeah.
[01:31:04] So it's kind of cool.
[01:31:05] It is really cool that you have the current story and it's Kurt Russell.
[01:31:10] And then when they go back in the past, it's Wyatt Russell.
[01:31:13] Oh, okay.
[01:31:14] Johnny Mayo times two.
[01:31:16] I heard nothing but good stuff about this.
[01:31:18] I just haven't gotten to this show.
[01:31:20] I need to.
[01:31:21] Now that, you know, it was right below Velma, but now that Velma's canceled, it'll just jump up the list.
[01:31:26] Yeah, no, it is really good though.
[01:31:29] And like most people who have seen it have had good things to say about it.
[01:31:32] It's just because it's on Apple TV Plus, people kind of don't give it the just due that it deserves.
[01:31:39] Gotcha.
[01:31:39] Gotcha.
[01:31:40] All right, cool.
[01:31:40] All right.
[01:31:41] We just had Prime Day.
[01:31:43] Time for some Prime Show announcements.
[01:31:45] Huh?
[01:31:46] Huh?
[01:31:49] Are you not entertained?
[01:31:51] Are you not entertained?
[01:31:55] Who's that?
[01:31:56] Prime Video has released a new teaser trailer for Invincible Season 3, according to creator Robert Kirkman.
[01:32:02] Oh, he also made The Walking Dead, right?
[01:32:04] Yep.
[01:32:04] We should talk about The Walking Dead instead.
[01:32:05] No, I'm just kidding.
[01:32:06] No, no.
[01:32:06] The stakes of the season are really high and the content of the season is really dense.
[01:32:10] So we've set up a lot of stories in Season 1 and Season 2 that are kind of coming to a head in Season 3.
[01:32:17] And so in a lot of ways, every episode does feel like a finale episode.
[01:32:23] That's pretty cool.
[01:32:23] I like it.
[01:32:24] It's been announced that the animated series is set to premiere February 6, 2025.
[01:32:30] Isn't that somebody's birthday?
[01:32:31] His birthday?
[01:32:32] No, that's three days.
[01:32:33] Oh, she did his birthday?
[01:32:34] That's three days after my birthday.
[01:32:36] That's right.
[01:32:36] That's so funny.
[01:32:37] Me and Shidu are right next to each other.
[01:32:38] Yeah, and then I'm nine days after that.
[01:32:40] There we go.
[01:32:41] And I'm so sorry for James that he has to be around so many Aquarians.
[01:32:46] Yeah.
[01:32:46] And Jenny as well because her birthday and Philly's birthday is the same day.
[01:32:50] Oh, my God.
[01:32:52] Oh, my God.
[01:32:53] Oh, my God.
[01:32:54] All right.
[01:32:54] Next.
[01:32:55] Next.
[01:32:55] Let's go to the next story.
[01:32:57] I am excited about Invincible.
[01:32:58] I love the show altogether.
[01:33:00] But yeah, let's continue going on just because we still have a lot to talk about.
[01:33:05] Reaching for more Prime News.
[01:33:07] Oh, all right.
[01:33:08] Reacher Season 3 doesn't premiere until next year.
[01:33:12] And I'm very sad about that because he's so pretty.
[01:33:15] All right.
[01:33:15] Amazon already announced the Reacher spinoff series revolving around the Neely character,
[01:33:20] which I am super excited about.
[01:33:22] Yep.
[01:33:22] Prime Video has renewed the Reacher series for a fourth season, but they aren't waiting
[01:33:28] for it to be released before they start developing seasons.
[01:33:31] So Season 3 is still like they're going to release it next year, right?
[01:33:36] But they've got fourth season already and they haven't even finished third season yet.
[01:33:42] What is up, Amazon?
[01:33:44] But we love it.
[01:33:45] It's because they already know the success of the first two seasons.
[01:33:48] They probably already like the content that's going into the third season.
[01:33:51] So they're like, nope, we're just going right for it.
[01:33:53] Season 4.
[01:33:53] Let's go.
[01:33:54] Or they just really, really are into Alan Rickson.
[01:33:58] Yes.
[01:33:58] I think it is Alan Rickson because on Netflix.
[01:34:02] Yeah, I think it's Netflix.
[01:34:03] They have the Reacher movies with Tom Cruise.
[01:34:08] Yeah.
[01:34:09] And I wanted to get into him like because I love Reacher and I wanted to get into him,
[01:34:13] but I'm like, no, I can't.
[01:34:15] I see.
[01:34:15] I need to see Alan Rickson and not five foot three Tom Cruise.
[01:34:20] It's funny because Tom Cruise really wanted to make these movies and he shoehorned himself
[01:34:24] into being Jack Reacher.
[01:34:26] No, Jack Reacher is like six foot five in the books and you're like a whole foot shorter
[01:34:33] than Jack Reacher, which I mean, again, Richson is perfect.
[01:34:36] He's like the right size, right height, everything.
[01:34:38] Like he's built the exact way that Reacher is described in the book.
[01:34:41] But like you want to be Reacher that bad that, you know, you're going to like make him a short
[01:34:47] dude.
[01:34:48] But, you know, to be honest, back then, nobody knew besides if you read the books, like who
[01:34:52] Reacher was.
[01:34:52] So it's like he's introducing the world to Reacher and nobody cared about his height.
[01:34:57] But after seeing Alan Rickson, it's like, I think I want Alan Rickson.
[01:35:03] You know what I mean?
[01:35:03] Yeah.
[01:35:04] And but I like well, I mean, I like the movies, the first one with Tom Cruise.
[01:35:09] And then somebody told me, oh, he's supposed to be like six feet tall.
[01:35:12] And I was like, they picked our wrong guy.
[01:35:15] I like Alan in it.
[01:35:17] I do.
[01:35:18] I think he's doing a really good job.
[01:35:20] And I'm going to say this because, you know, I will admit when I'm wrong.
[01:35:23] If Alan Rickson wants to be Batman, I am 100 percent on board with it.
[01:35:30] Now, if Tom Cruise all of a sudden wants to be Batman, then he's too short.
[01:35:35] We got some issues.
[01:35:36] He can be Robin.
[01:35:40] Well, OK, we'll let Tom Cruise be that might.
[01:35:43] How about that?
[01:35:44] Yes.
[01:35:44] That might.
[01:35:45] Yes.
[01:35:45] Tom Cruise is the perfect height to be bat might.
[01:35:48] That is great.
[01:35:49] We're going with that.
[01:35:50] I like it.
[01:35:51] All right.
[01:35:51] Let's move on to the to the last headline here.
[01:35:54] Bang, bang.
[01:35:55] Spinoff gang.
[01:35:56] Bang, bang.
[01:35:57] Right.
[01:35:57] That was good.
[01:35:58] Bang, bang.
[01:35:59] Spinoff gang.
[01:35:59] The big bang theory spinoff series that was announced last year to be in the works at Max has found its first three cast members.
[01:36:10] Actors Brian Posehn, Lauren Lapkus and Kevin Sussman will all star in the potential new show.
[01:36:16] The show is in development and has not officially been greenlit to series yet.
[01:36:21] But Posehn, Sussman and Lapkus currently under talent holding deals.
[01:36:28] OK, exact plot details remain under wraps, but all three actors would apprise their roles from the original series.
[01:36:35] All right.
[01:36:35] I thought it was going to take place at a comic book store.
[01:36:37] It's got to be.
[01:36:38] It's got to.
[01:36:39] Right.
[01:36:39] I just I mean, I thought that's what I thought.
[01:36:41] Maybe it was a rumor.
[01:36:42] I don't know.
[01:36:43] But for some reason, I thought they already figured it out.
[01:36:46] No.
[01:36:46] And I think what it is, is like, that's that's a rumor that has been out there.
[01:36:50] But like they're they're they're probably really trying to keep it under wraps.
[01:36:53] They really don't want to be out there.
[01:36:55] I mean, it could be exactly what we think it is.
[01:36:58] But I mean, you know, maybe they want to do something different.
[01:37:01] I mean, again, what's what's Kevin Sussman's character's name?
[01:37:05] Oh, I can't remember.
[01:37:09] Stewart.
[01:37:09] Stewart.
[01:37:10] Yeah.
[01:37:10] Like I would love to see a whole series about Stewart in the comic book shop.
[01:37:14] Yeah, that'd be great.
[01:37:15] Yeah.
[01:37:16] So I don't know.
[01:37:17] It's it's it's that would that would because there are a lot of characters that come into comic book shops.
[01:37:23] Right.
[01:37:23] And it's not just that.
[01:37:24] Like, again, you get you get to see kind of as nerds, we get to judge all the characters from Big Bang Theory when they walk into there to see what they're looking at.
[01:37:35] Yes.
[01:37:36] Yes.
[01:37:37] All right.
[01:37:38] OK.
[01:37:38] And they all disappoint.
[01:37:40] Except for except for not Leonard, except for Sheldon, because Sheldon is a big Green Lantern fan.
[01:37:50] So you already are not Green Lantern.
[01:37:51] Yeah.
[01:37:52] Flash fans.
[01:37:52] Yeah.
[01:37:53] He's going to walk in.
[01:37:53] Yeah.
[01:37:54] And just like look at the flash every time he walks in.
[01:37:56] Yeah, that's true.
[01:37:57] Not as disappointing.
[01:37:58] Yeah.
[01:37:58] Leonard's a Batman fan.
[01:37:59] So, I mean, that's you can't be mad at that.
[01:38:02] He probably likes the Joker, too.
[01:38:03] He probably does like the Joker.
[01:38:05] Nothing wrong with that at all.
[01:38:06] You know what?
[01:38:06] Let's just move on to the download.
[01:38:08] Well, we're going to talk.
[01:38:08] Speaking of D.C. and everything going on there.
[01:38:11] Let's end the news on the brightest news.
[01:38:14] Oh, all right.
[01:38:15] Aaron Pierre.
[01:38:16] We talked about this earlier.
[01:38:17] Aaron Pierre from Rebel Ridge is set to take on the role of Jon Stewart in D.C.
[01:38:22] Studios upcoming Green Lantern series, Lanterns.
[01:38:25] He will star alongside Kyle Chandler, who will play an older version of Hal Jordan.
[01:38:29] So, this is actually what Matt was saying is that he wanted an older version of Hal Jordan.
[01:38:35] We just got the confirmation right there.
[01:38:36] The D.C. series will focus on the new recruit Jon Stewart and Lantern legend Hal Jordan,
[01:38:42] two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark Earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland.
[01:38:48] The series will consist of eight episodes and it's produced by HBO in association with Warner Brothers Television and D.C. Studios.
[01:38:56] The project is being developed by Ozark's Chris Mundy, Watchmen's Damon Lindelof, which I'm already on board for that just because of that,
[01:39:03] and comic book writer Tom King, who we saw at L.A. Comic Con, and I am even more on top of this or more into this,
[01:39:11] Mundy, who will serve as showrunner Lindelof and King are co-writing and executive producing.
[01:39:16] No date.
[01:39:17] Yeah, I know.
[01:39:17] This is already stupid exciting because you have a dude that's written Green Lantern for the comics writing the show,
[01:39:23] and I've been saying for years that that's how you need to write these TV shows.
[01:39:27] But no date when we will see Green Lantern's might on HBO Max.
[01:39:31] Awesome.
[01:39:32] I like this.
[01:39:33] I think Aaron Pierre is going to be awesome.
[01:39:35] Now I want to go watch Rebel Ridge.
[01:39:37] Yeah, I feel like he already looks like Jon Stewart.
[01:39:40] Yeah.
[01:39:40] I am entertained by that.
[01:39:41] Absolutely.
[01:39:42] Oh, now you are entertained?
[01:39:43] Yes.
[01:39:44] Are you entertained?
[01:39:45] Yeah, I think it's great.
[01:39:46] I think he's going to be a good Jon Stewart.
[01:39:48] I can see him with Kyle and, or not Kyle.
[01:39:55] Yeah, Kyle Chandler, not Kyle.
[01:39:56] I was like, wait, just Kyle Chandler, not.
[01:40:00] But yeah, I can see that since they are doing an older Hal Jordan totally goes into my,
[01:40:06] that Carol's already a star Sapphire.
[01:40:08] Yeah.
[01:40:09] The only thing that I'm looking at now that I'm kind of like, okay,
[01:40:12] we may not see Kyle Rayner because if this is Jon Stewart as he's becoming a Green Lantern,
[01:40:18] you know, like we're probably not going to see Kyle Rayner until like a later season.
[01:40:23] Yeah.
[01:40:24] I still would like him.
[01:40:25] Yeah.
[01:40:25] I mean, I think we're going to learn about the Lanterns through Jon Stewart's eyes.
[01:40:30] Like it's his perspective and seeing as the world becomes bigger, the universe becomes bigger,
[01:40:35] seeing it from his point of view.
[01:40:36] Yeah.
[01:40:36] Yeah.
[01:40:37] Because I, if they're going this route, I would like to see a Jon Stewart who's been
[01:40:43] an architect for a couple of years.
[01:40:44] He's just a couple of years out of the Marine Corps.
[01:40:46] You know, you have him kind of like learning what's going on, taking in everything.
[01:40:51] And then in season two, it's a couple of years later, he's been in Green Lantern for
[01:40:57] a little bit.
[01:40:57] You can actually have him kind of like baby filling in his leadership for the Justice
[01:41:03] League by season two.
[01:41:05] Yeah.
[01:41:06] And at that point, that's where we start getting introductions to Kyle Rayner.
[01:41:09] So since this is under the James Gunn Saffron umbrella, the Gunn Saffron umbrella.
[01:41:16] So that's our Hal and our Jon.
[01:41:19] Yeah.
[01:41:19] Like throughout everything.
[01:41:20] Right.
[01:41:21] So in the animated stuff and everything like that, we're going to see these actors playing
[01:41:25] Hal Jordan and Jon Stewart.
[01:41:26] And they have said that Nathan Fillion is going to come in for the series to play Guy.
[01:41:30] So I mean, it ties it into the Superman movie to pretty significantly.
[01:41:35] Now we don't know like if it's the same time frame, if it's a it could be this was in the
[01:41:40] past.
[01:41:41] It could be several things could happen.
[01:41:42] But anyway.
[01:41:43] No, I like it.
[01:41:45] I when they announced Lanterns originally, that was the thing that I was like, I have to see
[01:41:50] this like because I I've always wanted some sort of Green Lantern TV show because to me,
[01:41:57] it is makes more sense as a serialized television.
[01:42:01] And it lends itself for it.
[01:42:02] Like if you're if you're a fan of the comics in general, like it really does lend itself
[01:42:08] as a series and especially with all the amount of characters that that encompassing Green
[01:42:13] Lantern.
[01:42:14] Again, we talked about Jessica coming in later.
[01:42:16] We talked about kind of just like all the different versions of the Green Lantern because
[01:42:21] there's way more now.
[01:42:22] You know, there are seven.
[01:42:24] There are like seven Green Lanterns in this sector alone.
[01:42:27] Right.
[01:42:28] And then, of course, you have like Kilowog and you have it's it's because humans are
[01:42:33] messy.
[01:42:33] Very.
[01:42:34] It's why you have seven of them.
[01:42:36] Some messy.
[01:42:37] But yeah, our own Justice League worth of Green Lanterns.
[01:42:39] Right.
[01:42:40] I'm very excited for this as a Green Lantern fan.
[01:42:43] Did John come after Guy?
[01:42:47] Is that Howard?
[01:42:48] Yeah.
[01:42:48] So so how Jordan was the primary Green Lantern?
[01:42:52] They chose Guy Gardner as his backup.
[01:42:53] So Guy Gardner ended up being the backup to how Jordan and then.
[01:42:58] Jon Stewart came on to replace how Jordan when he got older.
[01:43:01] Yeah.
[01:43:02] And he he got older and then something happened.
[01:43:06] And then at some point, like he was more doing deep.
[01:43:09] How died or they thought he died.
[01:43:11] And then it became evil.
[01:43:12] And it becomes parallel.
[01:43:13] How's been through a lot.
[01:43:14] Yeah.
[01:43:15] Yeah.
[01:43:15] He becomes.
[01:43:16] And through the whole thing, he's been a fuckboy.
[01:43:18] Oh, yeah.
[01:43:19] He's I said it.
[01:43:20] He is the biggest of all the fuckboys.
[01:43:22] And like I have a he's talking about Tomar and Jessica Cruz.
[01:43:27] Again, very good Green Lanterns.
[01:43:29] You know, I was going to do a transition joke, but I was like, nope, that joke is better.
[01:43:33] We're going with that.
[01:43:35] How Jordan is the fuckboy.
[01:43:36] How Jordan is the ultimate of fuckboys.
[01:43:39] And the ring cures all those alien intergalactic STDs.
[01:43:44] No.
[01:43:45] STDs.
[01:43:47] That is Green Lanterns.
[01:43:49] Okay.
[01:43:49] I'm putting my I'm going to put my ring on.
[01:43:52] I have space syphilis.
[01:43:54] Let me put my ring on this.
[01:43:55] That's the blackest night right there.
[01:43:58] There's a reason that all the Green Lanterns wear the ring all the time.
[01:44:02] Right.
[01:44:02] Yeah, exactly.
[01:44:03] I think I think I think I think the Orange Lantern are the ones that are like the worst
[01:44:08] off ones because they hoard.
[01:44:10] That Larf.
[01:44:10] Larf.
[01:44:11] Larf.
[01:44:11] He's the only one because Larf.
[01:44:13] Lee's hordes all of the STDs to himself.
[01:44:16] He he killed all the other Green Lanterns and all the other Orange Lanterns and has all
[01:44:21] of the Orange.
[01:44:23] Turn ring.
[01:44:23] James, do you know what the Orange Lanterns power is?
[01:44:26] Greed.
[01:44:27] It is greed.
[01:44:28] So.
[01:44:29] So.
[01:44:29] Avarice is.
[01:44:30] Yeah.
[01:44:31] Yeah.
[01:44:31] Yeah.
[01:44:32] It's a fancy word.
[01:44:32] It's still.
[01:44:33] It's a fancy word.
[01:44:35] A fancy word for greed.
[01:44:37] Yeah, man.
[01:44:39] But the Black Lanterns, man, like I just want to see.
[01:44:42] I'm wondering how many seasons before we get to Darkest Night or Blackest Night.
[01:44:46] Blackest Night.
[01:44:46] Right.
[01:44:46] Before we get to Blackest Night.
[01:44:48] You know, I would love to see it.
[01:44:49] I would love it if they did that.
[01:44:52] I would love it.
[01:44:53] And then given that they're going to be integrating storylines and everything like that, do we get
[01:44:58] a White Lantern Batman?
[01:44:59] You're way down the road.
[01:45:01] Yeah.
[01:45:02] But that's what I'm saying.
[01:45:03] Like when we get there.
[01:45:04] What about Star Sapphire Wonder Woman?
[01:45:07] That's another fucking amazing crossover.
[01:45:10] Ah.
[01:45:11] But it's Artemis and not Diane.
[01:45:14] You guys just need to.
[01:45:16] You guys are way down the road.
[01:45:17] I'm just trying to get a chipmunk.
[01:45:19] I'm trying to get chipped.
[01:45:20] Yeah.
[01:45:20] She's trying to get chipped.
[01:45:22] What about New York?
[01:45:25] No.
[01:45:26] No.
[01:45:27] Yeah.
[01:45:28] The best lantern of all the lanterns, though, is, you know, the merch lantern.
[01:45:34] Because we got merch, people!
[01:45:38] We got merch, people.
[01:45:40] We got shirts.
[01:45:41] We got.
[01:45:41] Come get your shirts.
[01:45:42] I can't move my mouse.
[01:45:43] There it is.
[01:45:44] Okay.
[01:45:44] There it is.
[01:45:45] We don't have Apple.
[01:45:46] We got shirts.
[01:45:46] Just DM us at DistanceTherney on Instagram.
[01:45:49] Tell us what size you're looking for.
[01:45:51] How many shirts?
[01:45:52] Which do you want?
[01:45:53] Like one of the black logo shirts and one of the charcoal gray shirts?
[01:45:59] Or do you want two of each?
[01:46:00] I am wearing the charcoal gray shirt.
[01:46:02] I love it.
[01:46:03] Look at you.
[01:46:04] Look at you.
[01:46:05] I'm rocking some Lucherilas, even though they're not around anymore.
[01:46:09] But still, they're associated with us.
[01:46:11] There you go.
[01:46:12] So just DM us.
[01:46:12] It's 20 bucks each if you're local, 25 if you got to ship it to you.
[01:46:17] Or if we got to meet you at a con, we'll have them there too.
[01:46:20] All good.
[01:46:20] Yeah, we'll do it that way.
[01:46:21] That sounds like a good time.
[01:46:23] We will never say no to that.
[01:46:26] And if you're at a con and you want Phil or James, I mean, I've been to one.
[01:46:32] So probably either James or Bill.
[01:46:34] To sign them.
[01:46:36] Ask them.
[01:46:37] They'll sign it.
[01:46:38] And then you can like really get good at their names and start forging things.
[01:46:42] Yeah.
[01:46:45] I would feel weird signing anybody's shirt just because I'm just like, I don't feel like
[01:46:50] we're big enough for that.
[01:46:51] That's like breaking like over state lines.
[01:46:54] That's breaking like federal.
[01:46:56] It is.
[01:46:56] It's breaking federal law.
[01:46:58] Okay.
[01:46:58] All right.
[01:46:58] Here we go.
[01:46:59] Let's do it.
[01:47:00] Look, it's go bigger.
[01:47:01] Go home.
[01:47:02] Right?
[01:47:02] You're right.
[01:47:03] You're right.
[01:47:03] All right.
[01:47:03] Well, let's jump into the schedule guys.
[01:47:05] So the schedule that we've got going on here, Tuesdays, the download from 630 to 830, the
[01:47:11] show that you are watching right now, news, rumors, all the fun stuff that we do.
[01:47:15] Of course, Thursdays and Fridays now, the build from 6 to 8 p.m.
[01:47:20] Actually, the Thursday show is 6 to 8.
[01:47:22] Friday show is 6 to 7.
[01:47:23] So we only do the interview on Friday.
[01:47:26] And interview, but also Lego.
[01:47:28] I'm still building Lego, but we're just doing the bracket.
[01:47:31] Yeah.
[01:47:32] We're not doing the brackets on Fridays just to keep it shorter for everybody's Friday.
[01:47:36] You know, give us a little more evergreen content there.
[01:47:39] So you just want to build more Lego.
[01:47:41] This is all an excuse.
[01:47:42] You know what?
[01:47:43] You would think I'm actually afraid of this because I don't have enough kits to keep up
[01:47:48] with for two days.
[01:47:50] This is more so because after LA Comic Con, we had an influx of guests and our schedule
[01:47:56] got pushed out all the way to December.
[01:47:59] And people were like, yeah, but we need to get on sooner.
[01:48:02] And people were just wanting to get on sooner.
[01:48:04] So I added another day and that filled up within a week.
[01:48:07] I'm going to tell Jack to steal a couple pieces.
[01:48:11] So you got to look around like, what did I do with that piece?
[01:48:14] Got to stretch out those builds.
[01:48:16] Stretch them out.
[01:48:17] Yeah.
[01:48:17] But as of right now, I am building the Nightmare Before Christmas kit.
[01:48:21] We just started that over the week.
[01:48:22] Bum, bum, bum, bum.
[01:48:25] Bum, bum, bum.
[01:48:25] Ah!
[01:48:27] Jack!
[01:48:28] Actually, he does have the angry face on the back.
[01:48:30] Oh, that's funny.
[01:48:31] Oh, that's awesome.
[01:48:32] Jack!
[01:48:33] Jack!
[01:48:34] And then, so I've got that.
[01:48:35] And then the-
[01:48:36] I'm just an elected official!
[01:48:38] Jack!
[01:48:39] And then the walking bathtub with the trick-or-treaters.
[01:48:47] Nice.
[01:48:49] They're just little people.
[01:48:52] What have we here?
[01:48:54] Sandy Claus, huh?
[01:48:55] Ooh, I'm really scared!
[01:48:58] Sandy Claus.
[01:49:00] Sandy Claus.
[01:49:01] Which actually, Sandy Claus is a character that you build for this kid.
[01:49:05] Oh, that's cool.
[01:49:06] That's cool.
[01:49:06] So, Thursdays and Fridays, 6 p.m.-ish, come hang out.
[01:49:11] Correct.
[01:49:12] And it's all in Pacific Standard Time.
[01:49:14] Yeah, because there's no other time.
[01:49:16] It's only Pacific Time.
[01:49:17] Pacific Time is the only time.
[01:49:18] Jen's like, shut up.
[01:49:21] What's Mountain Time?
[01:49:23] It doesn't exist.
[01:49:23] Well, Mountain Time's an hour ahead of you guys.
[01:49:27] But they're just up in the mountains?
[01:49:29] Do they even have internet up there?
[01:49:31] You know, what's funny is Arizona is in that time zone.
[01:49:34] And Arizona-
[01:49:35] No, Arizona has its own time zone.
[01:49:38] Arizona said, fuck that shit.
[01:49:40] We're on Pacific Time because Pacific Time is the only time that matters.
[01:49:43] No, they don't do the spring forward, fall back crap.
[01:49:47] Yeah, so they said, fuck all that noise.
[01:49:50] So they're like-
[01:49:51] Arizona is a flat earther.
[01:49:53] Happy Earth.
[01:49:54] Chris Chipperson said, dang, I'm in Mountain Time.
[01:49:59] See?
[01:50:00] And you were a minute late on that joke.
[01:50:02] See?
[01:50:04] Get better internet in the mountains.
[01:50:06] I'm in Central Time.
[01:50:08] Because everything revolves around me.
[01:50:12] Taylor said, Boise's in Mountain Time.
[01:50:14] Yeah, no.
[01:50:15] Yeah.
[01:50:15] Is it a Mountain Time?
[01:50:16] Yeah, it goes in the mountains.
[01:50:17] Yeah, it goes in the mountains.
[01:50:18] Yeah.
[01:50:18] Okay.
[01:50:19] There's mountains.
[01:50:20] There's mountains.
[01:50:21] I concur.
[01:50:21] Most of the states in Mountain Time do have mountains, though.
[01:50:24] That is true.
[01:50:25] If you're in or around Colorado.
[01:50:27] Yes.
[01:50:28] But Arizona doesn't have mountains.
[01:50:30] Is that why they're on their own time?
[01:50:31] Because they don't know?
[01:50:32] Arizona has mesas.
[01:50:33] Those are mountains.
[01:50:34] Arizona said, fuck all that noise.
[01:50:36] We're on Pacific Time.
[01:50:37] Or flat mountains.
[01:50:38] They just go up.
[01:50:39] Flat earthers.
[01:50:40] And flatten out.
[01:50:41] That's what I'm saying.
[01:50:41] Flat earthers.
[01:50:42] Oh, God.
[01:50:43] All right.
[01:50:43] We can continue this joke all night, but we're going to go ahead and move on here.
[01:50:48] John is.
[01:50:49] Actually, no.
[01:50:50] Is it pluggables time right now?
[01:50:51] God damn it.
[01:50:51] Go away.
[01:50:53] Oh, fun fact.
[01:50:54] Arizona doesn't do daylight savings time, but the Navajo Nation inside Arizona does follow
[01:50:59] daylight savings times.
[01:51:00] It's kind of weird here.
[01:51:01] That's amazing.
[01:51:02] You not.
[01:51:03] The Navajo Nation.
[01:51:04] You keep doing you, baby.
[01:51:06] You do you.
[01:51:07] I actually have friends that are part of the nation.
[01:51:09] So we do have mountain.
[01:51:10] You lowlanders.
[01:51:15] Oh, God.
[01:51:17] The only thing worthwhile in Arizona is Barizona.
[01:51:20] Okay.
[01:51:20] Because you can drive through Barizona and get to see like bear cubs running around your
[01:51:25] car.
[01:51:25] Jesus Christ.
[01:51:26] You know, I actually got to hold a bear cub.
[01:51:29] In Arizona?
[01:51:30] No.
[01:51:30] In Oklahoma.
[01:51:32] Oh.
[01:51:32] Oh, Oklahoma.
[01:51:33] Wait.
[01:51:34] Does Oklahoma have bears?
[01:51:35] Yes.
[01:51:37] Does Oklahoma have mountains?
[01:51:38] We have very large hills.
[01:51:40] What time zone?
[01:51:41] What time is hill time?
[01:51:42] It's central time.
[01:51:45] Oh, my God.
[01:51:47] Taco Bell bear.
[01:51:48] Your hills aren't big enough to be part of time.
[01:51:51] Is that why?
[01:51:51] You know, get our own like mountain.
[01:51:53] Like, oh, it's mountains.
[01:51:55] See?
[01:51:56] It's all weird.
[01:51:56] Getting all topographical on me.
[01:51:58] No.
[01:51:59] Central time because everything revolves around me.
[01:52:02] Okay.
[01:52:02] Jen, we're going to have it revolve around you.
[01:52:04] It's time for pluggables.
[01:52:06] Yay!
[01:52:13] I'm not going to be weird about it.
[01:52:14] I have my own channel.
[01:52:15] It's called Frey Girl.
[01:52:17] It's on YouTube.
[01:52:18] You can watch Classified on it where we take your favorite fandoms and we classify them
[01:52:23] into Dungeons and Dragons classes.
[01:52:25] If you don't know what Dungeons and Dragons classes are, we also have a show for you on that.
[01:52:29] It's called Journals of the Classes.
[01:52:30] It goes through all the classes, all the subclasses.
[01:52:33] You can learn some stuff.
[01:52:35] We try to have some fun with it.
[01:52:37] Should do as my co-host on it.
[01:52:38] And then I'm also on the socials except for Twitter because I cut that shit out.
[01:52:45] And I'm under either Frey Girl or Gotham Oracle or Gal the Corgi if you want to see my corgis.
[01:52:53] TikTok, Insta.
[01:52:55] I'm there.
[01:52:55] There you go.
[01:52:55] Awesome.
[01:52:56] Thank you for not making that weird.
[01:52:58] Now, let's hear your pluggables for your curl.
[01:53:01] Oh, wait.
[01:53:01] Sandra Betty asked what's the best way to contact me directly.
[01:53:04] Honestly, just DM me on Insta on either Gotham Oracle or Frey Girl.
[01:53:09] I'll get it.
[01:53:10] I'm usually on it like every day.
[01:53:12] So, Sandra.
[01:53:13] Why can't the rest of us here?
[01:53:14] Can you just post it?
[01:53:15] I mean...
[01:53:16] You have done it to me before, James.
[01:53:18] You send shit to me all the time.
[01:53:22] I didn't mean to.
[01:53:23] Was it bad timing?
[01:53:24] Wrong time.
[01:53:26] Wrong time.
[01:53:26] It's the wrong time.
[01:53:28] Wrong Jenny.
[01:53:28] Wrong Jenny.
[01:53:29] Yeah, there's too many chins.
[01:53:30] Too many February chins.
[01:53:32] Oh, my goodness.
[01:53:34] Have something you want to discuss except for time zones?
[01:53:36] Tell us what you're nerding out on and make sure to let us know in the Facebook group,
[01:53:41] The Distance Nerdington Post.
[01:53:44] Hey, look, guys.
[01:53:45] If you want to help support us and support the show and everything that we do here,
[01:53:49] all you got to do is head over to distancednerding.com.
[01:53:52] See that big blue buy us a taco button?
[01:53:53] You can buy us a taco.
[01:53:54] Ladies and gentlemen, you can join the taco party.
[01:53:59] Join the taco party, ladies and gentlemen.
[01:54:01] Help us out.
[01:54:02] It helps support the show.
[01:54:03] Helps us do more events, do more live events and things like that.
[01:54:07] Come out to more places.
[01:54:08] Get better prizes because everybody loves prizes.
[01:54:11] I finally sent a three-month-old prize to the DeLongs today.
[01:54:16] You see them like every other week.
[01:54:18] I actually had to order it, so that was the whole thing.
[01:54:21] Yeah, it took a little while before I could order it, but I ordered it today.
[01:54:24] And then I was going to send Aiden his, but for some reason, the entire chat that we had
[01:54:31] with Aiden where he gave me his address disappeared on our chat, so I'm going to have to message him.
[01:54:36] In Instagram?
[01:54:36] On Instagram.
[01:54:38] Oh.
[01:54:38] It's weird.
[01:54:39] Yeah, he had sent me his address.
[01:54:42] Ask him again.
[01:54:43] Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
[01:54:44] I got to ask him again.
[01:54:45] Just ask him again.
[01:54:46] We'll ask him again?
[01:54:47] Ask him again.
[01:54:47] Ask him again.
[01:54:48] Yeah, ask him again.
[01:54:48] Are you not entertained?
[01:54:52] Here's a new gig.
[01:54:53] All right.
[01:54:55] So if you buy us a taco, you get to choose our time zone.
[01:54:58] What?
[01:54:59] Maybe we'll got to, maybe we have to like redo the show.
[01:55:03] Like 6 p.m. Greenwich time.
[01:55:07] That's 10.
[01:55:08] Okay.
[01:55:08] Well, I don't know.
[01:55:09] You're doing math.
[01:55:10] No, I think Greenwich, Greenwich Mean Time.
[01:55:13] GMT?
[01:55:14] Greenwich Happy Time.
[01:55:16] Also known as Greenwich Meridian Time, which is actually the original time zone.
[01:55:20] Yes.
[01:55:21] But that's not, that's like what, 8 hours?
[01:55:24] 6 hours?
[01:55:25] I don't know.
[01:55:26] It's got to be more.
[01:55:27] That's across the Atlantic.
[01:55:29] Of course it's more hours.
[01:55:30] Yeah.
[01:55:31] When you, in the military, fun fact, and Husby will corroborate this,
[01:55:37] when you are deployed, everything is in GMT.
[01:55:41] Yeah.
[01:55:42] Pacific time.
[01:55:43] Yeah.
[01:55:43] Pacific time.
[01:55:44] No, everything's in GMT mainly because, so it's like, you know,
[01:55:48] if you're in a different time zone, then you go like 6 off of GMT.
[01:55:53] And the idea is because you can sync with every,
[01:55:58] with every other country and branch and everything if you're running off of GMT.
[01:56:02] Yes.
[01:56:03] I did know that.
[01:56:04] And I also know that you don't say repeat over the radio.
[01:56:08] Say again.
[01:56:08] Say again.
[01:56:09] Say again.
[01:56:09] Because if you say repeat, you're bombing people over and over again.
[01:56:12] Yeah.
[01:56:12] Repeat is call for fire.
[01:56:13] So say again.
[01:56:15] Repeat, repeat, repeat.
[01:56:16] If you say that three times, they're just going to fill something with holes.
[01:56:19] So you say, say again.
[01:56:21] Whoa.
[01:56:21] Jeez.
[01:56:22] Yeah.
[01:56:22] Again.
[01:56:22] Repeat is call for fire.
[01:56:23] So basically what you're doing is repeat last.
[01:56:25] So last coordinates, if you just took out a base or something like that,
[01:56:29] or if you just took out an encampment or anything like that using artillery,
[01:56:32] you're basically, when you say repeat, you're telling artillery to repeat last hit.
[01:56:36] And if you, if you've moved in on that location, you're just bombing yourself.
[01:56:39] Dang.
[01:56:40] Yeah.
[01:56:40] So we say,
[01:56:41] trying to seek that battleship.
[01:56:42] So we say, say again.
[01:56:44] And in the first episode of Agatha, I know we're not talking about this,
[01:56:47] but in the first episode of Agatha all along, or second episode,
[01:56:50] she says, say again and not repeat.
[01:56:52] So, and husband caught that and he was like, Ooh, that's good.
[01:56:55] That's how I learned it.
[01:56:56] That's how I learned it.
[01:56:57] Everyone should watch MCU shows because you're not geeky relatives will give you
[01:57:05] more stuff to geek out about.
[01:57:06] That's right.
[01:57:07] Well, ladies and gentlemen, you can connect with us on all the social medias,
[01:57:10] all the places, everywhere that exists.
[01:57:13] You can connect with us.
[01:57:14] If it is social media, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, it's not X, it's Twitter,
[01:57:19] Twitter, Twitch, TikTok, threads, YouTube, Discord, MySpace,
[01:57:22] Biden, Vine, Geocities, Friendster, Second Life, AIM, Farmers Only,
[01:57:26] Christian Mingle, OnlyFans, Fansly hits only.
[01:57:29] Pictures of Aaron Watson's feet, mandels, the beard, and Jamez's glasses
[01:57:34] sitting on a table judging you the way that he's judging you right now.
[01:57:38] Look at that.
[01:57:38] I like the haircut, by the way.
[01:57:40] Those glasses are judging everybody.
[01:57:42] Look at that.
[01:57:43] James wakes up with perfect hair.
[01:57:46] Is it because he put so much product in it the night before?
[01:57:49] Absolutely.
[01:57:50] No, because Tater rubs it at night.
[01:57:54] And then he gets home early.
[01:57:57] Chris Chipperson, we appreciate you.
[01:58:00] You said I'm definitely subscribing now after hearing about the OnlyFans.
[01:58:03] What did I do?
[01:58:03] No, after hearing about the OnlyFans.
[01:58:05] That's the only reason that anybody wants to follow us is we have an OnlyFans.
[01:58:10] AtDistanceNerding.
[01:58:11] And, of course, if you'd like us to break up with your boyfriend, girlfriend,
[01:58:14] significant other, pet, schoolyard bully, annoying neighbor,
[01:58:18] or just tell us how much you enjoy us, hate us, or wish the internet would consume us
[01:58:22] and spit us out at the feet of every gladiator so they can tell you,
[01:58:25] are you not entertained?
[01:58:27] Do they spit on us when they say that?
[01:58:29] Yes.
[01:58:29] He kept saying GMT, and is that Green Mountain Time?
[01:58:33] Greenwich Meridian Time.
[01:58:35] Oh.
[01:58:35] So Mountain Time.
[01:58:36] You can send us an email.
[01:58:37] Okay, now we can talk.
[01:58:40] Oh, shout out.
[01:58:41] Mountain Time's not a real thing.
[01:58:42] Shout out to RealTimeRuss in the Instagram chat right now.
[01:58:45] Oh, look who it is.
[01:58:47] Real talk.
[01:58:48] Real talk, Russ.
[01:58:49] Is Mountain Time a real thing?
[01:58:51] I don't think it is.
[01:58:51] No, Mountain Time's not real.
[01:58:53] Neither is East Coast or Central Time.
[01:58:55] It's not real.
[01:58:56] It's only Pacific Time.
[01:58:57] Is this going to be your why are Transformers cars thing?
[01:59:01] No.
[01:59:02] Is that what?
[01:59:03] Pacific Time is the only time.
[01:59:05] And yes, this is a mountain we will die on.
[01:59:08] Of course.
[01:59:09] Okay.
[01:59:09] All right.
[01:59:11] I'm just saying, I live in a different time zone.
[01:59:14] So your argument is really flawed now.
[01:59:18] No, no, no.
[01:59:19] Your time zone is Pacific plus two.
[01:59:21] Look, we need to be really careful here because it's Squirrel Awareness Month.
[01:59:25] Yeah.
[01:59:26] Russell Martini said that Pacific Time is confirmed.
[01:59:29] Pacific Time is the only one that's real.
[01:59:30] Exactly.
[01:59:31] Real talk.
[01:59:32] There's only one time zone and it's Pacific Time.
[01:59:34] I almost want to name this episode Time Zone Conspiracies, but the problem is we've already
[01:59:39] named it Pacific.
[01:59:41] We named a past episode Pacific Time is the only time.
[01:59:44] And we debunked the theory that there is a mountain time because mountain time doesn't exist.
[01:59:49] No, we didn't.
[01:59:50] It's a thing.
[01:59:51] No, it has been debunked thoroughly.
[01:59:53] And Arizona is full of flat earthers.
[01:59:55] Yeah.
[01:59:55] Don't make me leave.
[01:59:56] Chris Chipperson is like, no, you guys are idiots.
[01:59:59] This is not real.
[02:00:02] Well, Chris said he's only following Morbin Time.
[02:00:05] I only follow Morbin Time.
[02:00:08] Yes.
[02:00:09] I love it.
[02:00:09] I love that people are in on the joke.
[02:00:11] This is great.
[02:00:12] It's nerding at AOL.com and we will read your emails on screen.
[02:00:17] We will read them here on the show.
[02:00:19] Send them to us.
[02:00:20] Distance nerding at AOL.com.
[02:00:23] All right, ladies and gentlemen, that is it from us.
[02:00:25] This week.
[02:00:26] Good job.
[02:00:26] Hey, everybody.
[02:00:27] Yeah.
[02:00:27] Until next time.
[02:00:28] Thanks and keep nerding together.
[02:00:32] Together.
[02:00:33] That's right.
[02:00:34] It's time for the dance party.
[02:00:35] Let's get this going.
[02:01:26] This was a production of the Distance Nerding Podcast and Time for Tacos Media.
