[00:00:15] Gotta keep this rolling here. So next on the show, he is the promoter. I'm gonna say the promoter for Tri-Cities Powerhouse Comic Con, Silver Age Comic Con, Metal Art Comic Con, and a Medford Beaver State Comic Con.

[00:00:29] And of course, oh, you forgot Silver Age in there. Silver Age Comic Con. And of course, the bedrock of the con circuit, Gem State Comic Con, king of all the West Coast nerds and geeks, the president and business operations, guest relations of Colossus Girl Entertainment, and kind enough to bring all of us Dutch Bros. coffee.

[00:00:50] Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the show, the one, the only, our favorite man in the con circuit. It's Dave Hayworth.

[00:01:02] Kanbanwa, everybody. Kanbanwa.

[00:01:05] You're doing that. You're speaking Idaho and I don't understand.

[00:01:09] Kanbanwa.

[00:01:10] Kanbanwa.

[00:01:11] No, it's, it's, it's, it's Nahongo. Nahongo I'm speaking.

[00:01:15] Again, Idaho. I don't get it.

[00:01:18] Is that a type of potato? I don't know.

[00:01:22] It's, it's winter, it's snowing, I'm in my igloo, I'm all hibernated up, you know, it's.

[00:01:29] Say one, you know, that's a good point.

[00:01:31] It's a lot of wild turkey and, ah.

[00:01:34] I'm keeping them warm, you know.

[00:01:36] All right, here we go.

[00:01:37] Got Graveyard's favorite food in the world, potatoes.

[00:01:42] I thought you were saying alcohol.

[00:01:44] Alcohol's good too, yeah, wild turkey.

[00:01:46] Yeah.

[00:01:46] We're, we're gonna send you some Malort, so.

[00:01:50] Okay, that sounds good to me, I need it to warm you up.

[00:01:53] Oh God.

[00:01:55] But, but, fact checked, fact check on Elise Bauman.

[00:01:59] She met distance nerding at Powerhouse Comic Con.

[00:02:03] And when she was speaking about Oregon, she was thinking about Anna Medford.

[00:02:08] So I'd fact check.

[00:02:09] That's right.

[00:02:10] So now that she didn't mention the show, I'm gonna have to fire her next contract.

[00:02:14] I'm sorry, Elise.

[00:02:16] If we're doing fact checks, I got a fact check that Sylvage was number two on the list there.

[00:02:21] Supporting you, James.

[00:02:21] Number two on the list.

[00:02:23] Did I skip it when I said it?

[00:02:25] Yeah.

[00:02:25] Oh, I did.

[00:02:26] Oh shit.

[00:02:29] So I called him.

[00:02:31] That's the second time I've called out James for something he didn't do.

[00:02:33] It's great.

[00:02:34] By the way, it's a special day.

[00:02:37] Check it.

[00:02:38] Can you see this?

[00:02:39] Can you see this?

[00:02:40] Hold it.

[00:02:42] Godzilla minus one.

[00:02:44] Both editions.

[00:02:45] If you don't have Godzilla minus one on DVD, you're a complete loser.

[00:02:49] It's the greatest movie in the last 20 years.

[00:02:53] I'm telling you.

[00:02:54] Oh, and also, and also, last year, some promoter, okay, lost everything because he was talking smack about one of my favorite people.

[00:03:03] I just want to say today's the anniversary, JDF, Jason David Frank.

[00:03:07] Yeah.

[00:03:07] I love that guy.

[00:03:09] Okay.

[00:03:09] He is Power Rangers.

[00:03:12] He is one of the greatest human beings ever.

[00:03:14] And don't you ever forget it.

[00:03:16] And it's an anniversary for him today.

[00:03:17] So let's all remember him.

[00:03:19] Absolutely.

[00:03:19] There you go.

[00:03:20] That is perfect.

[00:03:21] Yeah.

[00:03:21] I like Wild Turkey Dave.

[00:03:23] This is good.

[00:03:24] This is spicy.

[00:03:26] You never have me in those fall winter months.

[00:03:28] I'm never here.

[00:03:29] I know.

[00:03:30] You're too busy doing calm things and running around talking to a million different people, but you know, Wild Turkey Dave's fun.

[00:03:36] This is great.

[00:03:37] Got a cool hat.

[00:03:38] Got a cool hat.

[00:03:39] Absolutely.

[00:03:40] Absolutely.

[00:03:40] And before I was on the show, I was running my model trains.

[00:03:46] Oh.

[00:03:47] Yeah.

[00:03:48] Oh, interesting.

[00:03:49] Look at you go.

[00:03:50] And I want to say hi to Cam Smith, who is-

[00:03:53] Shout out to Cam.

[00:03:55] Hi, Cam.

[00:03:56] Very cool.

[00:03:57] Yeah, there we go.

[00:03:57] Yeah.

[00:03:58] You're keeping him busy at the store, right?

[00:04:00] I am.

[00:04:01] And it was hard.

[00:04:03] I was talking to Sean Gunn earlier today and I was trying to talk to him into getting onto your show today,

[00:04:10] but he's filming a movie, but-

[00:04:11] I'm sorry.

[00:04:12] He just said Sean Gunn.

[00:04:13] Sean Gunn.

[00:04:14] Yeah, Sean Gunn.

[00:04:14] Yeah, he's the guy, I guess, in Gilmore Girls, right?

[00:04:17] Sean Gunn?

[00:04:17] Yeah, he was Kurt.

[00:04:19] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:04:21] We'll go with that and that he's in like everything that we love right now.

[00:04:26] Is he?

[00:04:27] He's playing Wienzel.

[00:04:28] I'm a big Gilmore Girls fan.

[00:04:29] I watch Gilmore Girls in the winter.

[00:04:31] I just on repeat.

[00:04:32] I love Gilmore Girls.

[00:04:34] Well, I mean, it's a small world because I had Luke's sister on my show a couple weeks ago.

[00:04:39] Yeah, you did.

[00:04:40] Oh, what?

[00:04:42] I love to have him.

[00:04:43] Yes.

[00:04:43] Yeah.

[00:04:43] Look at you guys with your Sean Gunn and Gilmore Girls.

[00:04:46] Not almost Gilmore Girls people like us, James.

[00:04:49] I'm sorry.

[00:04:50] I've met Sean Gunn.

[00:04:51] And this thing always and Bonicelli.

[00:04:53] Yes, always.

[00:04:54] It's a weird flex, but I'll go with it.

[00:04:56] I'll go with it.

[00:04:58] Sean Gunn auditioned to be on Angel.

[00:05:02] He was going to be the Glenn Quinn got it instead.

[00:05:06] Like the, yeah, he was going to be him.

[00:05:08] But as I mentioned him, it's kind of giving you a subliminal message.

[00:05:12] Oh.

[00:05:13] I don't know how subliminal.

[00:05:15] It's very liminal.

[00:05:17] It is.

[00:05:17] It's very liminal.

[00:05:20] You have to tell us outright.

[00:05:22] We're not very bright.

[00:05:23] All right.

[00:05:23] I think the.

[00:05:25] Well, Kirk's coming back to Gilmore Girls.

[00:05:28] Oh my God.

[00:05:30] Yeah.

[00:05:31] I do have to say though, that out of the many years of being on distance nerding, knowing

[00:05:37] distance nerding, even before they were distance nerding, James is the smartest tool in the

[00:05:43] shed.

[00:05:43] The sharpest tool in the shed.

[00:05:44] He's definitely a tool.

[00:05:49] Sound bite.

[00:05:50] Sound bite.

[00:05:51] Yeah.

[00:05:51] But you know, you guys know this, you guys know this, you guys, I listen, I'm on a lot

[00:05:55] of podcasts.

[00:05:56] I listened to a lot of podcasts and you know, you guys really are the best.

[00:06:00] I mean, let's be honest.

[00:06:01] I mean, you know, I'll stroke your egos for you.

[00:06:04] You don't have to, you guys know you're good.

[00:06:06] And I always look forward to coming on here and seeing you guys.

[00:06:10] And I don't want to get too sensitive because it's the 200th anniversary and maybe in the

[00:06:14] 1000th anniversary, I'll do something amazing.

[00:06:17] But I love hugging you guys.

[00:06:19] You guys are great.

[00:06:20] And a lot of people, when they see me walk around, they go, man, look at that big guy,

[00:06:24] man.

[00:06:24] He's man.

[00:06:25] Don't F with that guy.

[00:06:26] But you all know that I'm just a big teddy bear.

[00:06:29] And you know, I'm, I'm all about peace, tranquility and my, my Zen.

[00:06:33] So yeah, especially when I'm dressed up as a unicorn.

[00:06:38] You definitely want to give me hugs.

[00:06:40] Yeah.

[00:06:41] I love that.

[00:06:42] I almost, I almost grabbed your ass though.

[00:06:44] When you were a Deadpool.

[00:06:45] Sorry.

[00:06:45] I probably wouldn't have been upset because.

[00:06:49] You probably wouldn't have been able to feel it as Deadpool.

[00:06:52] I just be like, Oh, okay.

[00:06:54] Consent is everything.

[00:06:56] So that's it is.

[00:06:57] We're stroking egos here.

[00:06:59] Not anything else.

[00:07:00] Okay.

[00:07:01] Yeah.

[00:07:01] I've struck a chord.

[00:07:02] I struck a chord.

[00:07:03] When Marina chimes in, I know I'm in a hole.

[00:07:08] But she said, oy with the poodles already.

[00:07:11] I mean, that's classic Gilmore girls.

[00:07:14] Yeah.

[00:07:14] I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to do laundry and wash the dishes

[00:07:18] before I go to bed tonight.

[00:07:19] That's, that's.

[00:07:21] Oh, okay.

[00:07:22] All right.

[00:07:23] Feel free to come over and wash my dishes.

[00:07:24] That's the code phrase in your house for dishes and.

[00:07:28] I need to get out.

[00:07:29] Well, when I need to get out of the dog house, I need to do something.

[00:07:32] You know?

[00:07:33] Yes.

[00:07:35] I love how loose you are and hanging out and fun.

[00:07:38] Usually it's like promote, promote, promote.

[00:07:40] Now we're just hanging out, having fun.

[00:07:41] This is.

[00:07:42] Yeah.

[00:07:42] Well, I am promoting a little bit because you know, it's, you know, that's what I do in

[00:07:46] the background, but you know, it's not, yeah, it's not like it's the season.

[00:07:50] I mean, it's the season just to huddle up and sleep and, and stay warm and drink lots

[00:07:56] of tea.

[00:07:56] Yeah.

[00:07:57] I hear you.

[00:07:58] Yeah.

[00:07:58] I hear you.

[00:07:59] It's so weird knowing that your con is so far away, like six months away or something

[00:08:04] like that.

[00:08:05] I'm so used to like seeing you like every month or every couple of weeks.

[00:08:09] And now it's like, Oh, we got away like five months, six months.

[00:08:12] Yeah.

[00:08:12] I mean, yeah, I'm still working.

[00:08:14] I mean, I, I literally talked to four agents today over the phone and talk to another agent

[00:08:19] in England trying to get some British actors over.

[00:08:21] I mean, there's still work being done, but it's not like we have to, you know, worry

[00:08:26] about, you know, like the stuff you usually see me worry about.

[00:08:28] It's not like chicken with your head cut off.

[00:08:30] You can actually breathe and do stuff.

[00:08:32] You know, it's it's like, excuse the term, a Gen X eighties term.

[00:08:37] But you know, when your balls to the wall, you know, you got to, you know, you just, you

[00:08:45] know, you just, sorry.

[00:08:46] I had a flashback.

[00:08:47] Sorry.

[00:08:48] Yeah.

[00:08:48] I just got put right back into the eighties.

[00:08:51] It's great.

[00:08:52] Right.

[00:08:53] So, you know, just constantly busy.

[00:08:55] So yeah, when it's time to, you know, what did they say in the movie Outland with Sean

[00:08:59] Connery?

[00:09:00] You know, when you work hard, it's time to play hard.

[00:09:03] Right.

[00:09:03] Oh yeah.

[00:09:05] You don't remember that movie.

[00:09:06] Any of you?

[00:09:07] It's one of the greatest sci-fi films of all time.

[00:09:09] It's a take on playing.

[00:09:11] Do you have it on Blu-ray?

[00:09:13] He probably does.

[00:09:14] On DVD.

[00:09:16] The real question is, do I have it on Laserdisc?

[00:09:19] Oh.

[00:09:20] Yes.

[00:09:21] And turn the sides over too.

[00:09:22] Remember that?

[00:09:23] Oh, mine automatically flips.

[00:09:25] And Betamax and all that.

[00:09:27] Yeah.

[00:09:27] I miss those days.

[00:09:28] The days you can sneak into a girl's bedroom at five in the morning and get away with it.

[00:09:34] You know?

[00:09:35] Yeah.

[00:09:37] Not in my house.

[00:09:37] Hold on.

[00:09:41] My wife gets mad at me when I do that.

[00:09:44] No way.

[00:09:45] Because of course you sleep in separate rooms.

[00:09:48] I mean, whenever I sneak into my bedroom, my wife yells at me.

[00:09:51] So, I mean, you know.

[00:09:53] I'll never yell at you, Phil.

[00:09:54] Well, you know, if you would stop doing Dutch ovens, she might let you in, Phil.

[00:09:58] Wow.

[00:09:58] Oh.

[00:10:00] There it is.

[00:10:00] It happens.

[00:10:01] There it is.

[00:10:01] Actually, we have our own separate blankets.

[00:10:04] So, if I Dutch oven, I'm Dutch ovening myself.

[00:10:07] Well, it's taco night.

[00:10:08] You know, Phil, yeah.

[00:10:09] She's in trouble.

[00:10:12] Taco night is every night.

[00:10:13] Can we get serious for a second?

[00:10:15] Can we get just a little bit?

[00:10:16] Yes, yes, yes.

[00:10:17] I apologize.

[00:10:18] Can we, I just want to know a little bit.

[00:10:20] Because I love having you on.

[00:10:21] And I want to know like little bits of tea.

[00:10:23] And now that I know the wild turkey is in play.

[00:10:25] I want to see if you can give us a little bit of extra tea.

[00:10:29] Like tell us about Jump State.

[00:10:30] You know, May 17th, 18th, 2025.

[00:10:32] Wow.

[00:10:33] Well, you know what?

[00:10:34] We have Ray Park.

[00:10:35] Yes.

[00:10:36] We have Bonnie Wright.

[00:10:38] Ooh.

[00:10:39] Awesome.

[00:10:40] We have a lot of great anime.

[00:10:42] Elise was supposed to be there, but I'm going to have to, you're fired, Elise.

[00:10:49] And, you know, we got some, a couple of Clerks actors coming.

[00:10:53] Ooh.

[00:10:54] That's cool.

[00:10:54] Which, I mean, you know, and then I think I mentioned to you before already.

[00:10:58] And then, I don't know, we're contemplating a couple of British actors.

[00:11:02] We're still on the fence about it.

[00:11:04] But, you know, those are all things nobody knows about.

[00:11:06] But it's much larger than previous years because we have the entire facility.

[00:11:12] Nice.

[00:11:12] So, there'll be a lot more elbow room.

[00:11:14] You know, you know, it's hard to walk with 40,000 people running around.

[00:11:18] Yeah.

[00:11:18] But it's going to be better than ever.

[00:11:21] We have a Godzilla museum coming this year.

[00:11:23] We have more Pokemon tournaments and all that other stuff.

[00:11:27] We have two panel rooms this year.

[00:11:30] That's right.

[00:11:30] You know, so a lot of stuff happening.

[00:11:32] Lots of stuff.

[00:11:33] And it's just, you know, I hate going to a show and it's like celebrities and vendors and that's it.

[00:11:40] Yeah.

[00:11:41] You know, you have to have something like some meat.

[00:11:43] You have to have a lot of panels.

[00:11:44] Okay.

[00:11:44] And you have to have like things to do.

[00:11:47] Like playing video games, playing tournaments.

[00:11:49] You know, you got to have something like a Godzilla museum.

[00:11:52] You always have to have something that is activities.

[00:11:55] You know, when you walk into a con, it's almost like walking into like a pop culture Disneyland.

[00:12:00] And that's really what it should be.

[00:12:02] Just not a vending hall.

[00:12:04] Right.

[00:12:04] I mean, okay.

[00:12:05] Granted, when we first started, it was a vending hall.

[00:12:09] But, you know, nowadays I think the audience is a little bit more, what's the word I'm looking for?

[00:12:15] A little bit more, I guess, cultured.

[00:12:17] Sophisticated.

[00:12:18] There you see.

[00:12:19] I love this one.

[00:12:21] Sophisticated.

[00:12:22] So they, you know, they need something a little bit more than just a vending hall and a panel room.

[00:12:28] Yeah.

[00:12:28] They need more than anything.

[00:12:30] Yeah.

[00:12:31] And a kids room for kids to do stuff, even if it's just drawing or playing board games.

[00:12:35] You know.

[00:12:36] Right.

[00:12:36] Yeah.

[00:12:36] And you need, you know, a lot of things to eat and stuff.

[00:12:40] It's, you know, you want, you want to make sure they're a captured audience, like putting them in prison, make sure they don't.

[00:12:47] You need activities to do that.

[00:12:50] So gem state is going to be high on the activities.

[00:12:52] And awesome.

[00:12:53] Yeah.

[00:12:54] I'm very happy about it.

[00:12:55] It gets bigger and better every year.

[00:12:57] And, you know, gem state only works because we're local.

[00:13:01] If, if we were not local, it wouldn't work.

[00:13:05] Wizard World has tried to do things here when it was around.

[00:13:09] Other out of state shows have tried to, but people in Idaho specifically, if you're not from Idaho, they're not going to support you.

[00:13:16] So it's kind of cool, you know, that, you know, it's that way for us because we're local.

[00:13:21] But also what's great is they know it's a local show, but they may think, oh, distance learning.

[00:13:26] They know it's from California, but they embrace you like an Idahoan because you're there at their show in their state.

[00:13:32] You know what I mean?

[00:13:32] So that's why they like distance learning so much.

[00:13:35] Yeah.

[00:13:36] They're just saying we need to, we need to connect because I have some ideas.

[00:13:39] I want to bounce off you off, off stream at some point in time here.

[00:13:42] Mm hmm.

[00:13:42] Mm hmm.

[00:13:43] Oh, awesome.

[00:13:44] A little, a little.

[00:13:47] What was that?

[00:13:48] You plan on doing a show?

[00:13:49] I have people are interested and I'd want to start a bigger indie horror film festival.

[00:13:55] Oh, well, you can, you can ask Bob Carter.

[00:13:58] Um, I mean, my first question is always, where's your show going to be?

[00:14:02] And if it's far away from mine, I'll say, sure, I'll help you.

[00:14:07] You know?

[00:14:08] Yeah.

[00:14:09] I talked to Bob Carter a lot about his event in Atlanta and, you know, I was just giving him basic info, but he was very happy about it.

[00:14:17] And sometimes this is our 10 year anniversary for Colossus girl entertainment.

[00:14:20] Can you believe we've been doing conventions?

[00:14:22] Congratulations.

[00:14:23] A complete, a whole decade.

[00:14:26] And, um, and you don't realize how much knowledge you compile.

[00:14:30] You know what I mean?

[00:14:31] It just, you just don't realize it until you start talking to someone who's never like done one before.

[00:14:36] And then you leave the conversation, like saying, holy crap.

[00:14:38] I know a lot of, a lot of stuff.

[00:14:40] Yeah.

[00:14:40] You know, you don't realize it, but you through experience, you gain a lot of knowledge, you know?

[00:14:45] And, uh, you know, of course we started in California and I know, I know you guys had a conversation about, um, time zones and Phil, you know, and James look, look at this room right now.

[00:15:01] Yeah.

[00:15:01] Look at the people around you.

[00:15:03] Everyone who's successful or somebody lives outside of California.

[00:15:06] I think it's only you and five other people who actually live there now.

[00:15:11] You should catch a hint, man.

[00:15:15] I'm happy here.

[00:15:16] I'm going to stay here.

[00:15:16] It's fine.

[00:15:17] We all should have on our timeframe.

[00:15:21] So I think it worked.

[00:15:21] They just leveled the playing field.

[00:15:23] Yeah.

[00:15:23] I like, I like giving a hard time to Phil because I know Phil loves California and you know, he knows I love the land, but you know what?

[00:15:30] I'm like, I'm like Jerry Seinfeld.

[00:15:32] Like Jerry Seinfeld could get away with telling Jewish jokes because he's Jewish.

[00:15:36] I can get away from saying California jokes because I'm from California originally.

[00:15:41] Ah, there you go.

[00:15:42] For the record, I was born in California.

[00:15:44] Oh, nice.

[00:15:45] So I also have some loyalty.

[00:15:47] Yeah.

[00:15:47] He's young.

[00:15:48] I'm loyal to the land.

[00:15:49] I'm like a native American.

[00:15:51] I'm a loyal to the land.

[00:15:52] There you go.

[00:15:52] I don't know if you could say that, but okay.

[00:15:56] One day, one day I will get you to go to a Raider game with me.

[00:16:00] It's neutral ground.

[00:16:01] Come on.

[00:16:01] I'll go to a Raider.

[00:16:02] I'm a big Raider fan.

[00:16:03] You know that.

[00:16:04] Exactly.

[00:16:04] Exactly.

[00:16:05] We'll go to a Raider game.

[00:16:06] Now that it's not in California anymore, you're fine.

[00:16:08] I mean, make it up.

[00:16:09] Yeah.

[00:16:09] I mean, look, I officially really have not watched football since the day they allowed Michael Vick back in the league, but I still I like the Raiders.

[00:16:17] I mean, if someone says what's your team?

[00:16:18] I'll say the Raiders.

[00:16:19] I mean, I haven't seen a Raider game in so many years, but I'll go to a game with you right now.

[00:16:24] You don't want to see right again.

[00:16:25] Just look.

[00:16:27] Don't want to.

[00:16:28] What's their record?

[00:16:29] I don't know.

[00:16:30] Honestly, no, I mean at the beginning of the season, they predicted six and 11 would be the outcome of the season.

[00:16:37] And I'm like, these guys, how could how dare they?

[00:16:40] We have, you know, the team.

[00:16:42] It's going to happen.

[00:16:43] We've got Devonta Adams.

[00:16:44] It's going to be great.

[00:16:44] If we end up with six and 11, that would be a miracle.

[00:16:52] Let's just leave it at that.

[00:16:53] All bad.

[00:16:54] Well, yeah, I don't want to watch Raiders and I'm used to like the days of Marcus Allen, Jim.

[00:16:59] Plunkett.

[00:16:59] Yes.

[00:17:00] The glory days.

[00:17:01] Ken Stabler.

[00:17:02] I mean, you know, we need the autumn wind back.

[00:17:04] That's all I'm saying.

[00:17:05] But anyway, when Lyle Zeta would beat an opposing player up with their own helmet.

[00:17:12] Those were the guys.

[00:17:12] Yes.

[00:17:13] That's it.

[00:17:14] That's the Raiders.

[00:17:16] That's the way.

[00:17:16] Dave, you're amazing.

[00:17:18] Yes.

[00:17:18] Yes.

[00:17:18] Wild Turkey Dave is even more amazing.

[00:17:22] We appreciate you coming on, celebrating 200th episode with this man.

[00:17:26] Yeah.

[00:17:26] Thank you.

[00:17:27] Yeah.

[00:17:28] It's a happy 200th and hopefully for 200th more or 2,000th more.

[00:17:33] Happy 10th anniversary.

[00:17:34] Yeah.

[00:17:35] And as long as you keep doing Colossal Girl entertainment stuff, you're, you know, and

[00:17:39] keep growing the audience and, you know, and I see a bright future and just keep doing

[00:17:45] what you're doing, man.

[00:17:46] I mean, yeah, you're, you guys are the best.

[00:17:49] All of you are the best.

[00:17:52] Just some better than others.

[00:17:54] But me, you know.

[00:17:56] I'm, I'm the best.

[00:17:57] Some are more equal than others.

[00:17:58] They're okay.

[00:17:59] Did you say some are beater, beater than others?

[00:18:01] Yeah, definitely beater.

[00:18:03] Beaver?

[00:18:03] Oh, oh.

[00:18:04] Beaver?

[00:18:05] I'll give you, I'll, I'll give you, I'll start talking about beavers now.

[00:18:10] Beaver State Comic Con I'm working on.

[00:18:12] I can tell you this is another exclusive.

[00:18:14] Here we go.

[00:18:14] This is what I'm talking about.

[00:18:15] We're just in talks, but I'm because it's beaver state.

[00:18:19] I'm working on Jerry Mathers to appear there.

[00:18:22] Yes.

[00:18:23] Ah, that'd be awesome.

[00:18:25] Oh yeah.

[00:18:26] That would be hilarious.

[00:18:28] Beaver, the beaver beaver state.

[00:18:30] Okay.

[00:18:30] The beaver beaver state.

[00:18:33] That's awesome.

[00:18:34] Well, now that's how we end.

[00:18:36] Yeah.

[00:18:36] And the slogan is, it's all about the beave.

[00:18:39] It's all about the beave.

[00:18:41] We love you, man.

[00:18:42] Thanks for coming on and hanging out with us for the time that you did, man.

[00:18:45] All right.

[00:18:46] Thanks Dave.

[00:18:47] Have a good day and Christmas and New Year's.

[00:18:50] Absolutely.

[00:18:51] You have a good night, man.

[00:18:51] Thanks Dave.

[00:18:52] Love you brother.

[00:18:55] So much fun.

[00:18:56] Oh, so funny.

[00:18:58] So funny.

[00:18:58] Sneak peek there.

[00:18:59] Sneak peek.

[00:19:00] So we have, we got to roll into our next guest here.

[00:19:03] Just because one isn't, isn't here yet, but we have another one that is, so we're

[00:19:08] going to, we're going to move on this.

[00:19:09] So he's been right.

[00:19:11] What happened?

[00:19:11] Go ahead.

[00:19:12] Okay.

[00:19:12] I thought I was going to say something.

[00:19:13] So he's been writing and talking about the geek industry for years.

[00:19:17] He's a writer, podcaster, and a reporter for comic book.com.

[00:19:21] Let's say comic con.

[00:19:22] We just talked about comic cons, comic book.com covering movies, TV, comics, tabletop games,

[00:19:28] toys, wrestling, dude.

[00:19:29] He's our kind of nerd.

[00:19:30] He is, he is us.

[00:19:31] Oh yeah.

[00:19:32] Now, if you bring him some gummy bears, he'll bring the nerd swag known around the nerd

[00:19:38] verse as Maddie Swags, AKA Matt Swagular.

[00:19:43] Ladies and gentlemen from comic book.com, please welcome to the show.

[00:19:47] Matthew Swagular.

[00:19:52] Oh my God.

[00:19:54] What an amazing intro.

[00:19:55] Yeah.

[00:19:56] So thank you for the best nickname ever.

[00:19:59] That is forever your name for the rest of forever.

[00:20:02] Just because the rest of your guys picked it up when James said it.

[00:20:05] So it's like, perfect.

[00:20:07] It's so good.

[00:20:08] I mean, look, I know I brought it up, you know, how are you not going to like be self-serving?

[00:20:15] But like, it's stuck now.

[00:20:16] It's that I even told my wife about it.

[00:20:18] And she's like non, non plus that you've built up my ego.

[00:20:22] So much.

[00:20:24] You build up our ego on a regular basis.

[00:20:26] We just have to do it back.

[00:20:28] Yeah.

[00:20:29] I'm glad I can help.

[00:20:31] You know, thank you guys.

[00:20:32] Congrats, by the way, congrats on the huge milestone.

[00:20:36] It's awesome.

[00:20:37] You guys are, I'm going to give you your flowers first because you guys are amazing.

[00:20:41] You have made our show better.

[00:20:43] Comic Book Nation is better whenever you guys are in the chat and interacting with us on social media.

[00:20:50] You're amazing.

[00:20:52] We love you as part of our community.

[00:20:54] And I am very blessed to be a part of yours.

[00:20:57] You are a regular part of my nightly programming when I'm writing.

[00:21:01] Odds are I'm watching the build or I'm doing stuff while I'm writing a bunch of articles.

[00:21:06] So thank you for that.

[00:21:08] All best deserved.

[00:21:10] We appreciate that, man.

[00:21:11] Every time you show up in the chat, I get excited because I see that Green Lantern pop up, you know, night of Oa and I'm like, yeah, Matt's here.

[00:21:21] And some people get confused when he says that.

[00:21:23] I don't know who.

[00:21:25] A guy that may or may not be named Matt.

[00:21:28] That's not named Matt.

[00:21:29] Chip, yes.

[00:21:32] Oh man, you missed it though.

[00:21:33] A couple of weeks ago, we had like, we were doing something that was like best Green Lantern.

[00:21:37] And I'm like, where the fuck is Matt?

[00:21:39] Yeah.

[00:21:41] The one I miss.

[00:21:42] I always come in on like the brackets that like I know Jack about like the horror bracket.

[00:21:47] I tried.

[00:21:48] I tried to chime in, you know, we appreciate it.

[00:21:51] Yeah.

[00:21:52] I know nothing, you know, it's, but, but I still, I enjoy the brackets a lot.

[00:21:56] I can't believe I missed that.

[00:21:57] That's, that's a bummer.

[00:21:58] Yeah.

[00:21:58] Like I, like we had done something that was like the Green Lantern and I was like, we started talking about, no, you know what it was?

[00:22:05] It was me, Jen and James talking about who would play the, the, it was before they announced who was playing, who was playing, who was playing, huh?

[00:22:15] Jon Stewart.

[00:22:16] No, it was before.

[00:22:18] It was Hal Jordan, but before Jon Stewart and everything.

[00:22:20] Okay.

[00:22:20] Yeah.

[00:22:20] And we were all talking about like, who would play a good version of this?

[00:22:23] And we were talking about like, you know, there has to be some inherent misogyny involved when you're Hal Jordan.

[00:22:28] Yeah.

[00:22:29] Because it's Hal Jordan and he has to be a misogynist, right?

[00:22:31] Like, like just all the things we were talking about.

[00:22:33] And I was like, where's Matt?

[00:22:35] Matt, we need Matt to weigh in on this.

[00:22:38] Exactly.

[00:22:39] That's probably why my ears were buzzing from afar.

[00:22:42] Yeah.

[00:22:42] Yeah.

[00:22:43] Someone talking about Green Lantern.

[00:22:44] Yeah.

[00:22:45] It's like, I get like that with Golden Girls and Muppets.

[00:22:48] Uh, and like, if you start talking about them, I will, I will hear, I feel it.

[00:22:52] I feel a disturbance in the force.

[00:22:54] So what you're saying is we need Alan Tudyk to voice all the Muppets of a Green Lantern DC movie.

[00:23:00] Oh my God.

[00:23:01] I'm sorry.

[00:23:02] I think I just wet my pants, bro.

[00:23:04] That.

[00:23:06] Hold on.

[00:23:07] Hold on.

[00:23:07] Hold on.

[00:23:07] I've got something for that.

[00:23:08] Get your special sock out nerds.

[00:23:10] It's going to get good.

[00:23:14] The hits are amazing.

[00:23:17] I think that's, that's like 90% of the reason Matt likes this show is myself.

[00:23:21] I love it.

[00:23:22] I love it, man.

[00:23:23] I wish I could do them on our show.

[00:23:26] Like just, just the applause, like just having the applause is such a huge thing.

[00:23:29] But like all the Cena drops, the rock drops, the like, there's so many.

[00:23:33] Oh, my favorite is just dropping a John Cena in the middle of a, uh, of a John Mays rant.

[00:23:38] And he's just like, yeah.

[00:23:39] All right.

[00:23:39] Fuck you guys.

[00:23:40] Yeah.

[00:23:45] My favorite is listening to Phil trip over the wire to go hit the button.

[00:23:49] Yeah.

[00:23:51] I do that on purpose because it's, it's because such a joke now where it's like, instead of

[00:23:56] me just moving over and doing like, and touching the button, I have to go.

[00:24:00] All right.

[00:24:00] Hold on.

[00:24:01] I got this.

[00:24:02] Wait a minute.

[00:24:03] It's a really good cover.

[00:24:05] It's a really good cover.

[00:24:06] I'm, I'm, you've covered it up very well.

[00:24:08] It's like 50, 50.

[00:24:09] If we're truthful, it's 50, 50.

[00:24:11] Right.

[00:24:12] Can you, can you imagine how annoyed Kofi would be if Philippe was on your show, just hitting

[00:24:18] the drops.

[00:24:19] Dude.

[00:24:20] He's annoyed at me now when I make the little jingles, when I sing my own jingles or make

[00:24:27] my own segments and segue music.

[00:24:29] Like I can see it.

[00:24:31] I mean, if I had a little, like if I had a device where I could just pull it up.

[00:24:34] Oh my God, it would be the end.

[00:24:36] I keep saying, I got to make you a soundboard just so you can start using it on the show.

[00:24:41] Or as I say, when you get kicked off, you're welcome here.

[00:24:44] Yeah.

[00:24:46] There's a, cause you can make digital soundboards.

[00:24:49] Right?

[00:24:49] So I mean like I, I, I've, I've, I keep thinking about like making a website with a digital soundboard

[00:24:54] just so you can have it.

[00:24:56] You can just mess with Kofi.

[00:24:58] You just like, ah, it'd be amazing.

[00:25:00] Oh my God.

[00:25:01] I would, I would love it.

[00:25:03] Yeah.

[00:25:03] I would drive them all nuts.

[00:25:04] I mean, especially right now.

[00:25:07] Right.

[00:25:07] Cause we're like holiday season.

[00:25:09] Right.

[00:25:09] So it would be all Christmas movies.

[00:25:10] It'd be all elf quotes.

[00:25:12] Yeah.

[00:25:13] Oh my God.

[00:25:14] Santa.

[00:25:15] You would just see, that's all you would hear is the song.

[00:25:17] Santa screams.

[00:25:18] Like, you always have to look what you did.

[00:25:22] You jerk.

[00:25:23] Yeah.

[00:25:26] Call me an elf.

[00:25:28] One more time.

[00:25:32] That's a classic.

[00:25:33] They're not called elves.

[00:25:34] They're little people.

[00:25:38] All right.

[00:25:39] I'm going to ask a real question because I think, I think, I think we probably got this

[00:25:45] from your show.

[00:25:45] Like, uh, now that we're at the end of the year, what are your favorite shows of the

[00:25:51] year so far?

[00:25:52] Cool.

[00:25:52] Uh, and am I, am I stealing this from one of your episodes?

[00:25:55] It could have been.

[00:25:55] No, no, no, no.

[00:25:56] Um, and I just have to say, I know.

[00:25:58] Okay.

[00:25:58] I know what one is penguin.

[00:26:00] Penguin's like, uh, probably number one.

[00:26:02] That's probably easy.

[00:26:03] Number one.

[00:26:04] Not even.

[00:26:05] Um, and it's so hard cause I always feel bad for like the shows that hit earlier in the

[00:26:08] year.

[00:26:09] Cause it's just like recency bias is so easy.

[00:26:11] Right.

[00:26:11] Cause you just thought of it.

[00:26:13] Um, fallout.

[00:26:14] Yeah.

[00:26:16] And that's when I keep having to remind myself that happened this year, because it

[00:26:19] feels like it happened last year, but, uh, fallout for sure.

[00:26:23] Um, Oh man.

[00:26:24] That third one.

[00:26:24] Uh, it was not Agatha.

[00:26:26] I didn't, I know.

[00:26:27] I know I can say it was.

[00:26:30] Let me.

[00:26:30] It, it, it, it may be something that had to take place in 1997.

[00:26:34] Maybe some men, their ex, you know?

[00:26:38] Uh, okay.

[00:26:41] Um, okay.

[00:26:41] Remind me what else, what else came out this year?

[00:26:44] I feel like I'm missing, I feel like I'm missing, like a big show.

[00:26:46] That was not Batman.

[00:26:47] It was like, Batman.

[00:26:48] I related.

[00:26:48] Okay.

[00:26:51] I'm not.

[00:26:56] I'm not.

[00:26:57] I'm not.

[00:26:59] I'm not.

[00:26:59] I'm not.

[00:27:10] I'm not.

[00:27:12] I'm not.

[00:27:14] I'm not.

[00:27:27] I'm not.

[00:27:32] But so I handed it in a new movie out of my

[00:27:33] And it was just like ...我就 going Oh,warz.

[00:27:38] I was like, now I'm not 보 over.

[00:27:42] I imagine a little change.

[00:27:42] And then doing that, and only like a big show, I could buddy would

[00:27:43] Uh,lesia er mui ...

[00:27:43] Wait, hah, whoa, this is he let youenses up?

[00:27:48] There a bus I love looking at, man, but yeah are you

[00:27:49] doing Wednesday day that, f rather, am I loving it.

[00:27:49] Whoo.

[00:27:49] Sh Ursing, gone.

[00:27:52] I think you said yes.

[00:27:55] Well, you didn't see a video.

[00:27:56] I still see everyone.

[00:27:58] brain that I cannot figure out if it was this year or not.

[00:28:01] Free body problem.

[00:28:02] It's going to bother me. Is it Love

[00:28:04] Island season 11 like mine?

[00:28:06] It was.

[00:28:08] It was actually. We were hardcore actually for a minute

[00:28:11] into The Golden Bachelor.

[00:28:13] For a minute?

[00:28:14] That was riveting TV.

[00:28:17] House of the Dragon season 2

[00:28:18] came out this year.

[00:28:20] That's right.

[00:28:21] And that was your first thing of

[00:28:25] Game of Thrones, right?

[00:28:27] There's so much that happens in this show that just

[00:28:28] goes right over my head. I don't know what the hell

[00:28:30] these films are.

[00:28:31] He just looks at me like dumbfounded.

[00:28:34] You didn't get the snow cliff

[00:28:36] scene and what that meant?

[00:28:38] I was like, nope.

[00:28:41] Yeah, or snow on some

[00:28:42] cliffs. It was just two dudes talking.

[00:28:45] You know nothing about snow.

[00:28:46] I don't know what it means. I'm going to go

[00:28:48] X-Men.

[00:28:49] X-Men 97.

[00:28:51] Because that was fantastic.

[00:28:53] And I've rewatched almost all those episodes.

[00:28:55] And it introduced Ember to X-Men.

[00:28:57] Yeah.

[00:28:57] Yeah.

[00:28:58] He was like, didn't really understand

[00:29:00] who the X-Men were.

[00:29:01] And then until the scary parts with Storm,

[00:29:04] because she got freaked out with all the

[00:29:07] spirit stuff, the big creatures and stuff.

[00:29:10] So once we hit that part, she was like, meh.

[00:29:12] But before that, she was all in, right?

[00:29:15] So I was like, okay.

[00:29:16] And is she going to remember his name?

[00:29:19] She will remember his name.

[00:29:20] Yes, she will.

[00:29:21] I mean, also, he might be about to make a name for himself.

[00:29:25] Right?

[00:29:25] I don't know what you guys are all talking about.

[00:29:27] The only thing we need to be talking about...

[00:29:28] I'm going to make a name for myself, right?

[00:29:29] The best thing of the year...

[00:29:31] It's going to get good.

[00:29:35] The best thing of the year was the Bluey finale

[00:29:38] with the 28-minute episode.

[00:29:41] The Signs.

[00:29:42] Shoot.

[00:29:42] Shoot.

[00:29:43] Oh, that might be...

[00:29:44] Oh my God.

[00:29:44] That is the most riveting.

[00:29:46] I was going to say, Matt's a big Bluey fan too,

[00:29:49] so I know.

[00:29:49] That might be it though.

[00:29:51] Because like, not kidding.

[00:29:54] That episode...

[00:29:55] Look, there will be nothing...

[00:29:56] Is it sleepy time?

[00:29:58] The one where Ben goes to sleep

[00:30:00] and it's all about him separating from his little plushie

[00:30:05] and sleeping on his own in his bed.

[00:30:06] Jumping from planet to planet.

[00:30:07] Or her bed.

[00:30:08] Yeah.

[00:30:08] That episode is like an all-time classic episode of TV.

[00:30:12] Period.

[00:30:12] Not even animation cartoons.

[00:30:14] That is a brilliant episode.

[00:30:15] But like, The Sign and that whole thing with the home...

[00:30:19] It's masterful, man.

[00:30:21] I'm sorry.

[00:30:21] Bluey rules.

[00:30:23] That show is so good.

[00:30:24] That show is so good.

[00:30:26] I might have to put...

[00:30:27] That's right there.

[00:30:28] I'll give X-Men because it had like an entire season.

[00:30:31] And they killed my boy.

[00:30:33] But Bluey's right there.

[00:30:34] Bluey's fantastic.

[00:30:34] I love it.

[00:30:35] This is me watching Comic Book Nation

[00:30:38] every Friday morning, 6 a.m. Pacific time.

[00:30:41] I'm sorry.

[00:30:42] I'm just trying to derail their show

[00:30:44] and like get Matt or Kofi to pop about something.

[00:30:48] And that's all I want to do is like,

[00:30:51] if I can get them to be like,

[00:30:52] what the heck is that?

[00:30:53] Yeah.

[00:30:54] And you throw in a Bluey episode?

[00:30:55] Boom.

[00:30:56] If you ever want to see James be me,

[00:30:59] watch him in the chat of Comic Book Nation.

[00:31:05] I can't tell if that's an endorsement or not.

[00:31:09] No.

[00:31:09] And it all hell breaks loose

[00:31:11] when both of us are watching at the same time

[00:31:13] because it's just...

[00:31:14] Who's saying the comment?

[00:31:15] It's like,

[00:31:16] because they're both coming from distance,

[00:31:17] but we don't know whether it's Phil or James.

[00:31:19] And it's like...

[00:31:21] It's amazing.

[00:31:22] The whole banger after banger thing

[00:31:23] had life.

[00:31:24] It was fantastic.

[00:31:26] It just made me...

[00:31:27] Because I said that reference

[00:31:28] and I'm like,

[00:31:28] okay,

[00:31:29] this really...

[00:31:29] If anyone gets this,

[00:31:30] depends on who's in the chat.

[00:31:32] And I don't like know who's going to get this.

[00:31:34] So I threw it out there anyway, right?

[00:31:35] And then I saw the like fly in.

[00:31:37] I was like,

[00:31:37] okay,

[00:31:38] my people are here.

[00:31:39] This is good.

[00:31:39] Yeah.

[00:31:41] Because no one else gets that, right?

[00:31:42] It's like,

[00:31:43] all right.

[00:31:43] That's good.

[00:31:44] Hey,

[00:31:45] beautiful segue.

[00:31:46] So let's talk some wrestling now.

[00:31:48] We know you cover...

[00:31:49] We know you cover wrestling for Comic Book.

[00:31:51] How are you feeling about wrestling right now?

[00:31:53] Survivor Series is right around the corner.

[00:31:54] I know.

[00:31:55] That women's match.

[00:31:57] Oh my God.

[00:31:58] It's good.

[00:31:59] Rhea is back.

[00:32:00] That whole thing.

[00:32:01] That's like a star-studded lineup.

[00:32:03] Yeah.

[00:32:03] Yeah.

[00:32:03] Like if you watch Raw and SmackDown,

[00:32:06] like that,

[00:32:06] having all of them involved

[00:32:08] and then having like Rhea come in,

[00:32:10] do the headbutt

[00:32:10] with the Cody Rhodes face plate thing.

[00:32:13] Yeah.

[00:32:14] Brilliant.

[00:32:15] But like,

[00:32:15] seriously,

[00:32:15] that lineup is absurd.

[00:32:17] Like the only,

[00:32:17] you know,

[00:32:17] the only better lineup was

[00:32:19] or the equally as good

[00:32:21] lineup was at

[00:32:23] Halloween Havoc

[00:32:23] when they did the NXT

[00:32:25] women's like 10 woman tag.

[00:32:27] And I'm like,

[00:32:28] that thing was,

[00:32:29] I mean,

[00:32:29] you're just looking at a division

[00:32:30] just in one match.

[00:32:32] Like just looking at,

[00:32:32] like anyone would take that match

[00:32:34] and just make it their women's division.

[00:32:36] Like it's insane.

[00:32:36] And the same thing for Survivor Series.

[00:32:38] The Bloodline,

[00:32:39] Bloodline,

[00:32:40] like the Bloodline versus Bloodline one.

[00:32:42] Real quick.

[00:32:42] While we're talking about the women,

[00:32:43] I just want to say,

[00:32:44] I think it's amazing

[00:32:45] that it's that good of a matchup

[00:32:48] and that's without Becky.

[00:32:50] Yeah.

[00:32:50] Yeah.

[00:32:50] That's without Becky.

[00:32:51] Charlotte.

[00:32:51] And without Charlotte.

[00:32:52] You know,

[00:32:52] that's pretty.

[00:32:53] And you know,

[00:32:54] without Sasha.

[00:32:55] You know,

[00:32:55] that's pretty amazing

[00:32:56] that they built up the division

[00:32:57] to be that big.

[00:32:57] And Bailey's not in that mix either.

[00:32:59] Yeah.

[00:32:59] So like,

[00:33:00] it's kind of the horsewomen

[00:33:01] aren't there.

[00:33:02] The four horsewomen

[00:33:02] are not involved in that.

[00:33:04] And there's a thing,

[00:33:05] I need to write this at some point

[00:33:06] because I keep seeing

[00:33:07] like things go around

[00:33:08] like social shares

[00:33:09] going around about it.

[00:33:10] Like I need to name

[00:33:11] like who like the next

[00:33:12] four horsewomen are.

[00:33:14] Right.

[00:33:14] Cause there's,

[00:33:15] it's an absurd,

[00:33:16] it's absurd,

[00:33:17] like wealth of riches there.

[00:33:18] Like there's so many

[00:33:19] to pick from.

[00:33:20] But like that division

[00:33:21] is on both the main roster

[00:33:23] and the NXT roster,

[00:33:24] but even so much

[00:33:25] as like NXT,

[00:33:26] like it's impressive

[00:33:27] what they've done.

[00:33:28] And yeah,

[00:33:28] the four,

[00:33:29] like the tent poles

[00:33:30] of that division

[00:33:32] for the past decade

[00:33:32] are not in the mix

[00:33:34] right now.

[00:33:35] It's so weird

[00:33:36] because like a year

[00:33:37] and a half ago,

[00:33:38] there was like eight women

[00:33:39] on the,

[00:33:39] on the SmackDown roster

[00:33:41] you know,

[00:33:42] and now it's this.

[00:33:43] So it's amazing.

[00:33:44] Sorry.

[00:33:44] I know I derailed everybody else

[00:33:46] from,

[00:33:46] from the nerdy conversation

[00:33:47] to be about wrestling.

[00:33:49] That would be what James

[00:33:50] is here for.

[00:33:51] He covers it,

[00:33:51] you know,

[00:33:52] it's great.

[00:33:53] Okay.

[00:33:53] Bloodline.

[00:33:54] What do you think?

[00:33:54] Bloodline.

[00:33:55] Bloodline.

[00:33:56] Look,

[00:33:56] I,

[00:33:57] I think it's great.

[00:33:58] I am riveted every single week.

[00:34:00] Like the Bloodline saga

[00:34:00] is like my,

[00:34:01] that's my cup of tea.

[00:34:02] Right.

[00:34:03] I just love that stuff.

[00:34:04] It's so good.

[00:34:05] Sam bringing Sammy in

[00:34:06] is brilliant.

[00:34:06] That's,

[00:34:07] that's what I wanted.

[00:34:08] I am interested

[00:34:09] that they did the Bronson

[00:34:10] read thing because that now

[00:34:11] just like sets up Seth,

[00:34:13] right.

[00:34:13] To be in the mix for the fifth.

[00:34:15] And if you do that,

[00:34:16] how's that not going to be good?

[00:34:18] I'm sorry.

[00:34:18] Like all the little,

[00:34:19] the little things that

[00:34:21] they're going to be able to tell

[00:34:21] in between the match

[00:34:23] in the lead up to it

[00:34:24] and then start that story

[00:34:25] at some point.

[00:34:25] Like,

[00:34:26] that's just,

[00:34:26] you know,

[00:34:27] I know some people get,

[00:34:28] uh,

[00:34:28] weren't fans of like

[00:34:29] bringing Cody

[00:34:30] back into that mix so quick,

[00:34:32] but I think what they've done

[00:34:33] with Kevin Owens

[00:34:34] has shown that

[00:34:35] that was smart

[00:34:36] because they built him

[00:34:36] to a monster.

[00:34:37] He's,

[00:34:38] he's NXT level

[00:34:39] heel again.

[00:34:40] Yeah.

[00:34:40] But the crazy thing

[00:34:41] with,

[00:34:42] with,

[00:34:42] with,

[00:34:43] uh,

[00:34:43] with Kevin is just,

[00:34:45] if you look back at everything

[00:34:47] that he's been through

[00:34:47] in the last like two,

[00:34:49] three years,

[00:34:50] it is like long-term

[00:34:51] storytelling at its finest

[00:34:53] because like,

[00:34:54] yeah,

[00:34:54] a lot of people are thinking

[00:34:55] like,

[00:34:55] why did he turn on,

[00:34:57] uh,

[00:34:57] you know,

[00:34:57] why is he turning on,

[00:34:58] you know,

[00:34:59] this person,

[00:34:59] this person,

[00:34:59] this person.

[00:35:00] And then you look at

[00:35:01] every small little detail

[00:35:03] that has happened

[00:35:03] with Kevin Owens

[00:35:04] over the last couple of years.

[00:35:06] And it's like,

[00:35:06] oh my God,

[00:35:07] this is amazing.

[00:35:08] Yeah.

[00:35:08] And they're doing

[00:35:08] the same thing

[00:35:09] with Randy Orton

[00:35:11] and Cody.

[00:35:11] Yeah.

[00:35:12] They're doing the same thing.

[00:35:13] They're planting

[00:35:13] all the little seeds

[00:35:14] every time they're

[00:35:15] in a,

[00:35:15] the locker room together

[00:35:16] or he looks at the title

[00:35:17] or what,

[00:35:18] like they're doing.

[00:35:19] Oh,

[00:35:19] where's my,

[00:35:20] I just,

[00:35:20] I just got this right.

[00:35:21] I'm very excited

[00:35:22] because I finally get

[00:35:22] nice.

[00:35:24] Very excited about that.

[00:35:26] Um,

[00:35:26] but,

[00:35:34] of the family,

[00:35:35] uh,

[00:35:36] as part of NXT.

[00:35:37] Uh,

[00:35:37] and then there's,

[00:35:38] uh,

[00:35:38] also a couple other people.

[00:35:40] Yeah.

[00:35:40] And then,

[00:35:41] uh,

[00:35:41] there's,

[00:35:42] um,

[00:35:42] oh my God,

[00:35:42] Zilla.

[00:35:43] Yes.

[00:35:44] Thank you.

[00:35:44] Uh,

[00:35:45] you know,

[00:35:45] lurking out there,

[00:35:46] planting all those seeds,

[00:35:47] always talking about like,

[00:35:48] Oh,

[00:35:48] WWE seems like,

[00:35:49] I mean,

[00:35:49] you know,

[00:35:49] they're going to bring him

[00:35:50] in at some point.

[00:35:51] So this is going to get better.

[00:35:52] Yeah.

[00:35:52] It's so good.

[00:35:53] Yeah.

[00:35:54] So good.

[00:35:54] So looking good,

[00:35:55] man.

[00:35:55] If you watch,

[00:35:56] if you watch some of his indie matches,

[00:35:58] man,

[00:35:58] he's looking really good.

[00:35:59] He's good.

[00:36:04] TV,

[00:36:05] comic books,

[00:36:05] wrestling,

[00:36:06] you know,

[00:36:06] what's your favorite part of your job?

[00:36:09] Oh man.

[00:36:10] Um,

[00:36:10] for a minute,

[00:36:11] it was actually interviews.

[00:36:13] Um,

[00:36:15] because I got to just talk to people and I still love it.

[00:36:18] I,

[00:36:18] I,

[00:36:18] I still love it.

[00:36:19] But then there's also been a,

[00:36:21] a thing lately of like,

[00:36:23] um,

[00:36:24] I actually enjoy writing.

[00:36:25] Like I,

[00:36:25] I've always enjoyed writing.

[00:36:26] It's why I do this.

[00:36:27] Right.

[00:36:27] And that's what got me into this.

[00:36:29] But like,

[00:36:29] I actually,

[00:36:30] uh,

[00:36:31] you know,

[00:36:31] I've been able to kind of go deep on something.

[00:36:35] Subjects,

[00:36:35] jump in the,

[00:36:36] to comics a little bit more and like really nerd out,

[00:36:39] uh,

[00:36:40] in an article.

[00:36:40] I mean,

[00:36:41] I write like how I talk,

[00:36:42] right.

[00:36:42] So,

[00:36:42] I mean,

[00:36:42] it,

[00:36:42] it kind of comes through,

[00:36:43] uh,

[00:36:44] it's just me being a geek about whatever I'm reading and just,

[00:36:47] yeah,

[00:36:48] it just comes through.

[00:36:49] Right.

[00:36:49] And the same thing with wrestling,

[00:36:50] uh,

[00:36:50] the stuff,

[00:36:51] you know,

[00:36:51] I'm writing,

[00:36:52] um,

[00:36:52] or gaming or whatever.

[00:36:53] There's actually right now,

[00:36:55] it's actually,

[00:36:56] it's actually writing and like covering the stuff,

[00:36:58] but for a while it was interviews.

[00:37:00] It was just getting to talk to people and having a conversation again,

[00:37:03] not to say that I don't still love to do that.

[00:37:06] I just had a,

[00:37:06] uh,

[00:37:07] interview today that I adored,

[00:37:08] um,

[00:37:09] and,

[00:37:09] and got to talk to somebody awesome,

[00:37:11] which,

[00:37:11] uh,

[00:37:12] you'll see that next week.

[00:37:13] Um,

[00:37:13] I'm hoping that that hits next week,

[00:37:15] but like there's,

[00:37:16] you know,

[00:37:16] just,

[00:37:17] that was kind of the thing I loved most.

[00:37:19] I will say writing has kind of crept back in to like the top spot,

[00:37:23] but they,

[00:37:23] they're like neck and neck,

[00:37:24] you know?

[00:37:24] I mean,

[00:37:25] how many times you get to say like,

[00:37:27] you know,

[00:37:27] you talk to miss piggy,

[00:37:28] like that's an experience.

[00:37:31] I've talked to wiggles.

[00:37:33] Yeah.

[00:37:33] Like that's huge for me.

[00:37:35] Right.

[00:37:35] Like I said,

[00:37:35] it's like when we interviewed Donald duck,

[00:37:37] you know,

[00:37:37] it's kind of like a big deal,

[00:37:38] you know?

[00:37:39] Yes.

[00:37:39] Yeah.

[00:37:39] It's a huge deal.

[00:37:40] Like Elmo's Elmo's still on the bucket list.

[00:37:42] Yeah.

[00:37:45] One of these days,

[00:37:46] I'm going to talk to him.

[00:37:47] A date with Amanda de Moldenberg.

[00:37:51] The best number one,

[00:37:53] all time classic Sesame street episode is where Elmo hates Rocco.

[00:37:57] Right.

[00:37:57] That's like a classic episode because of Zoe.

[00:37:59] So he brings Rocco in and like Elmo can't stand it.

[00:38:02] Amazing episodes of Sesame street.

[00:38:04] If you haven't seen the clips,

[00:38:05] you absolutely should.

[00:38:06] So then you watch those.

[00:38:07] And the fact that they brought that back and that whole interview is

[00:38:10] amazing.

[00:38:11] Like everyone should watch that reel where he realizes Rocco's there.

[00:38:15] Oh yeah.

[00:38:15] A chicken shop date.

[00:38:17] I love it.

[00:38:17] And then,

[00:38:18] and she did Andrew Garfield.

[00:38:21] And I was like,

[00:38:22] who's she going to do after him?

[00:38:24] Because like they,

[00:38:25] they had that flirt a thon for like all those.

[00:38:27] Yeah.

[00:38:28] Yeah.

[00:38:29] And they've been circling each other and it was so good too.

[00:38:32] Like I'm rooting for them to get together.

[00:38:35] Absolutely.

[00:38:36] And,

[00:38:36] but then I was like,

[00:38:37] who's she going to do after that?

[00:38:38] Cause like,

[00:38:39] I mean,

[00:38:39] that's crazy.

[00:38:40] And then Elmo,

[00:38:41] I mean,

[00:38:42] she knocked it out of the park.

[00:38:43] It was awesome.

[00:38:43] I loved it.

[00:38:44] Her Sabrina Carpenter one is great too.

[00:38:46] Yeah.

[00:38:47] I like that one.

[00:38:48] And the Billy Eilish one.

[00:38:49] I love that one too.

[00:38:50] She's great.

[00:38:51] She's,

[00:38:52] she's awesome.

[00:38:53] Yeah.

[00:38:54] I watch all this stuff,

[00:38:54] man.

[00:38:55] This is fantastic.

[00:38:58] That's great.

[00:38:58] I'm sure your,

[00:38:59] your daughter loves it too.

[00:39:00] She's like,

[00:39:01] Oh,

[00:39:02] hanging out with me.

[00:39:02] You're like,

[00:39:03] I'm just doing my work.

[00:39:05] Books.

[00:39:06] There have been many a time where I'm like reading a book and she's like,

[00:39:08] who's that?

[00:39:09] What's that?

[00:39:09] Like,

[00:39:09] Oh,

[00:39:09] it's this.

[00:39:10] Oh,

[00:39:10] okay.

[00:39:11] Can I read it?

[00:39:11] Yeah.

[00:39:12] Come over here and read it.

[00:39:12] No,

[00:39:13] let's just like sit and watch,

[00:39:14] like read stuff or I'll watch.

[00:39:15] Like I got to interview Harrison Wilcox of Marvel TV.

[00:39:22] Right.

[00:39:22] And it was about moon girl and devil dinosaur.

[00:39:24] Oh,

[00:39:24] right.

[00:39:25] So when we're posting like the clip of it and like revealing it and all that

[00:39:28] stuff,

[00:39:29] like she saw what I was watching on screen.

[00:39:31] She loves Spidey and his amazing friends.

[00:39:33] So like,

[00:39:33] yeah.

[00:39:33] Hey,

[00:39:34] is that,

[00:39:34] is that,

[00:39:34] who's that?

[00:39:35] I was like,

[00:39:35] Oh,

[00:39:35] it's devil dinosaur moon girl.

[00:39:37] We already watched that show together.

[00:39:38] So yeah,

[00:39:39] she just pops on in and you know,

[00:39:40] it's cool.

[00:39:41] Awesome.

[00:39:42] And you still never got your devil dinosaur back from her.

[00:39:45] No,

[00:39:45] she's gone.

[00:39:46] Oh,

[00:39:46] he's,

[00:39:47] he's,

[00:39:47] he's back.

[00:39:48] Hold on.

[00:39:48] Oh,

[00:39:48] there you go.

[00:39:49] There it is.

[00:39:51] And moon girls right there.

[00:39:52] Yeah.

[00:39:53] I finally,

[00:39:54] we were cleaning out a room and he was in her box of like her third box of

[00:39:59] plush.

[00:39:59] Right.

[00:40:00] And I went,

[00:40:00] okay,

[00:40:00] come on.

[00:40:01] Can I,

[00:40:01] can I have him for a little bit,

[00:40:03] please?

[00:40:03] Can I just close him up there?

[00:40:04] And she's like,

[00:40:05] all right,

[00:40:05] I guess.

[00:40:06] I was like,

[00:40:06] okay,

[00:40:06] cool.

[00:40:07] So you stole it from your daughter.

[00:40:09] That's great.

[00:40:10] Look,

[00:40:11] man,

[00:40:11] it was mine first.

[00:40:14] Half the things in this,

[00:40:16] in the shelf have been in her room at various times.

[00:40:19] There's a reason that my wrestling shelf is always moved around.

[00:40:22] Cause she like takes them and like,

[00:40:24] Hey,

[00:40:24] can I have one?

[00:40:25] And then it turns into three and then they just disappear.

[00:40:28] And then I,

[00:40:29] when we're cleaning a room,

[00:40:30] I find them.

[00:40:30] Like I found my Jubilee Marvel legend that I couldn't find forever.

[00:40:34] My school girl.

[00:40:35] It's a bunch that she just had.

[00:40:36] And I'm like,

[00:40:37] where did you even get these?

[00:40:38] Like,

[00:40:38] that's not,

[00:40:38] you know,

[00:40:39] my power Rangers weapons.

[00:40:40] Let's just end up in a room.

[00:40:42] I will,

[00:40:42] I will say that's my,

[00:40:43] actually,

[00:40:43] that's my favorite part to go back to your other question,

[00:40:46] which now that I think about it,

[00:40:47] my favorite part is actually her is,

[00:40:50] is how like,

[00:40:50] I've been able,

[00:40:51] I've been very blessed to do a job that it,

[00:40:56] you know,

[00:40:56] part of it speaks to the inner kid in everyone.

[00:40:59] And when you have a four and a half year old and who's kind of grown up in this,

[00:41:04] right?

[00:41:04] Like daddy does interviews that he does this and that.

[00:41:07] Right.

[00:41:07] And she's kind of grown up in that.

[00:41:09] And she's an excellent co-pilot for interviews.

[00:41:11] Right.

[00:41:12] She slips me like applesauces and juices in the curtain.

[00:41:15] She's really good about keeping the volume down.

[00:41:17] She's,

[00:41:18] she's on it.

[00:41:19] Right.

[00:41:19] But she's like,

[00:41:20] it's,

[00:41:20] that is supremely cool.

[00:41:22] Like to have her,

[00:41:23] you know,

[00:41:23] get to say hi to certain people or to,

[00:41:26] you know,

[00:41:26] we got to meet Bianca Belair.

[00:41:27] Right.

[00:41:28] Like that's a,

[00:41:29] that's an awesome thing.

[00:41:30] And we have a picture that has literally,

[00:41:33] we're holding all of the,

[00:41:34] her Sesame street figures around Bianca.

[00:41:36] Right.

[00:41:36] That's the thing that like,

[00:41:37] I'll be able to show her later.

[00:41:39] And,

[00:41:39] you know,

[00:41:40] she might not remember it because she was young,

[00:41:41] but like,

[00:41:42] I'll be able to show her,

[00:41:43] like,

[00:41:43] look at what you got to do.

[00:41:44] She got to talk to a wiggle.

[00:41:46] She got to like,

[00:41:47] there's things that like,

[00:41:48] I get to do for her.

[00:41:50] Yeah.

[00:41:50] You know,

[00:41:51] I was able to like,

[00:41:52] get a birthday message from a blues clues.

[00:41:55] Right.

[00:41:55] Some people from blues clues.

[00:41:56] Yeah.

[00:41:57] There's things like that,

[00:41:58] that I'll be able to have forever.

[00:42:01] And regardless of whether I'm doing this or not at that time or whatever

[00:42:04] happens,

[00:42:06] you know,

[00:42:07] she's like,

[00:42:07] that's a memory that will never.

[00:42:09] Yeah.

[00:42:10] No one can take away from us.

[00:42:11] I guess.

[00:42:12] That's the best.

[00:42:13] Exactly.

[00:42:14] Yeah.

[00:42:14] Hold on to that.

[00:42:15] Cause my 13 year old goes,

[00:42:16] dad,

[00:42:17] you don't do anything cool.

[00:42:18] I'm like,

[00:42:19] I'm on IMDB.

[00:42:21] Yeah.

[00:42:24] Are you on IMDB?

[00:42:26] Yeah.

[00:42:27] Yeah.

[00:42:29] Yeah.

[00:42:29] Yeah.

[00:42:29] Yeah.

[00:42:32] I can have a cookie whenever I want.

[00:42:34] Yeah.

[00:42:34] That's right.

[00:42:34] Cause I'm an adult.

[00:42:35] Cause I'm an adult.

[00:42:36] I'm a grownup.

[00:42:39] That's so good.

[00:42:40] So good.

[00:42:41] Matt,

[00:42:42] you're amazing.

[00:42:42] Thank you so much.

[00:42:43] We appreciate your friendship.

[00:42:45] I'm so glad we get to talk to you.

[00:42:48] You're one of the coolest people and most positive people that we,

[00:42:51] we get to talk to you and we love listening to every week on the show.

[00:42:54] Thank you so much.

[00:42:55] Well,

[00:42:55] yes.

[00:42:55] Thanks for being part of it.

[00:42:57] Of course.

[00:42:58] Amazing meeting you.

[00:42:59] You guys are awesome.

[00:43:00] Uh,

[00:43:01] cannot wait to see you celebrate 400,

[00:43:04] 800,

[00:43:05] uh,

[00:43:05] and,

[00:43:05] and all the best on what's to come.

[00:43:07] It's going to be even bigger.

[00:43:07] Absolutely.

[00:43:08] Yeah.

[00:43:08] We appreciate the cross pollination,

[00:43:11] man.

[00:43:12] Yeah.

[00:43:13] I'll catch you guys later.

[00:43:15] Absolutely.

[00:43:15] Thank you so much.

[00:43:16] Bye Matt.

[00:43:16] I told you bluey.

[00:43:18] He loves bluey.

[00:43:19] I knew that would end up at the top of his list.

[00:43:22] He's had to just like wedge it in there.

[00:43:25] Bluey.

[00:43:26] Yep.

[00:43:26] Bluey.

[00:43:27] Don't forget bluey.

[00:43:28] Still,

[00:43:29] still when I wake up in the morning,

[00:43:30] like six 45 AM,

[00:43:31] there's bluey music playing for my son's bedroom.

[00:43:34] As he's getting ready for school.

[00:43:36] Yeah,

[00:43:37] man.

[00:43:37] Uh,

[00:43:37] so our last scheduled guest just,

[00:43:39] uh,

[00:43:40] just messaged me.

[00:43:41] He's going to be on here in a minute,

[00:43:41] but I also don't want this,

[00:43:44] uh,

[00:43:44] other guests that we have to wait in the rafter.

[00:43:46] So he's going to come on,

[00:43:47] uh,

[00:43:47] we'll talk with this other guest real quick here.

[00:43:49] Uh,

[00:43:50] and you know,

[00:43:50] if he wants to stay on while the other guest comes on by all means,

[00:43:53] but yeah,

[00:43:54] gentlemen,

[00:43:55] coming to help celebrate with us here.

[00:43:58] Uh,

[00:43:58] he has a fellow podcaster.

[00:44:00] Uh,

[00:44:00] they've got another show,

[00:44:01] uh,

[00:44:02] that,

[00:44:02] that we check out all the time and they support the living crap out of us.

[00:44:06] Uh,

[00:44:06] and we try to support them as well.

[00:44:08] Ladies and gentlemen,

[00:44:08] please welcome to the show from the geek freaks podcast.

[00:44:11] It's my boy,

[00:44:12] Frank.

[00:44:14] Hey everybody.

[00:44:15] Thanks for having me.

[00:44:18] Congrats on 200 amazing episodes.

[00:44:20] That's,

[00:44:21] that's a real achievement right there,

[00:44:22] guys.

[00:44:22] That's amazing.

[00:44:23] No,

[00:44:23] we appreciate that,

[00:44:24] man.

[00:44:24] It really does mean a lot.

[00:44:26] Uh,

[00:44:26] when we get,

[00:44:27] especially when we're getting support from,

[00:44:28] from everybody else that's out there and everything else.

[00:44:30] Uh,

[00:44:31] yeah,

[00:44:31] it means,

[00:44:32] it means a whole crap ton a lot to us.

[00:44:35] Now,

[00:44:35] well,

[00:44:36] how long has your show been going on?

[00:44:38] Because 200,

[00:44:39] yeah,

[00:44:39] 2018,

[00:44:39] uh,

[00:44:40] we've been,

[00:44:40] we've been going at it and seeing podcasts come and go.

[00:44:42] That's why when I know when you guys had 200 episodes,

[00:44:45] I know the work that takes it.

[00:44:46] So yeah.

[00:44:47] Yeah.

[00:44:48] and,

[00:44:48] and I know you guys have been around for a long time and just such a fun

[00:44:51] environment you guys create.

[00:44:52] So it's,

[00:44:52] it's cool.

[00:44:53] We appreciate that.

[00:44:54] That's awesome.

[00:44:55] So tell us about geek freak because look,

[00:44:57] you got the cool sign.

[00:44:59] You got all the pops hanging behind you much better than my blank wall.

[00:45:03] So tell us about geek freak.

[00:45:05] Well,

[00:45:06] first off the pops is because is from being single and my budget going

[00:45:09] fully to action figures.

[00:45:12] This is where the money goes guys.

[00:45:15] I'm married.

[00:45:16] I mean,

[00:45:16] pretty much everybody here except for she do is married.

[00:45:19] So I mean,

[00:45:19] yeah,

[00:45:20] this is what you're missing out on.

[00:45:23] No,

[00:45:24] but yeah,

[00:45:25] geek freaks has been around for a while.

[00:45:26] We,

[00:45:26] we,

[00:45:26] you know,

[00:45:27] we,

[00:45:27] we do the same thing you guys do in a lot of ways.

[00:45:29] We talk about the latest in geek culture and we branched out to help out

[00:45:33] other podcasts that,

[00:45:34] you know,

[00:45:34] a lot of times people come up,

[00:45:35] I'm sure you guys have gotten it right where they're like,

[00:45:37] Hey,

[00:45:37] I want to start a podcast.

[00:45:38] I got a great idea.

[00:45:39] They don't know what the heck they're doing.

[00:45:40] So then we help them out with it with a,

[00:45:42] this is what editing looks like.

[00:45:43] This is what branding looks like,

[00:45:44] all that fun stuff.

[00:45:45] And so that's kind of become the new thing that we're doing.

[00:45:48] And we're trying to help out Sacramento as much as possible,

[00:45:51] especially with the indie game developers and comic book writers.

[00:45:54] And so that's become,

[00:45:55] yeah,

[00:45:55] we're just trying to stay active.

[00:45:57] We're trying to hang out and spread the love.

[00:45:59] Look at you.

[00:46:00] I love it.

[00:46:01] I love it.

[00:46:01] So real quick,

[00:46:03] I was going to say before we,

[00:46:04] we,

[00:46:04] we kind of jump into a podcast and podcast and everything like that.

[00:46:08] Speaking of podcasts,

[00:46:09] we can talk more podcasts.

[00:46:11] We're going to talk about podcasts here with our next guest.

[00:46:13] So ladies and gentlemen,

[00:46:15] he is the nerd success story of all nerd success stories.

[00:46:20] He's built,

[00:46:21] he's built,

[00:46:22] he built the website for Kevin Smith's production company,

[00:46:25] He continues to work on Kevin Smith's projects.

[00:46:28] And you probably know him from the hit show comic book men or one of his

[00:46:32] podcasts,

[00:46:32] or even his shared universe podcast network.

[00:46:35] You'll see him in Kevin Smith's film,

[00:46:37] the four 30 movie,

[00:46:38] or at every comic con around the United States,

[00:46:41] drinking Malort.

[00:46:42] Ladies and gentlemen,

[00:46:43] let's get one more Malort from him.

[00:46:45] Our friend,

[00:46:46] good,

[00:46:46] good friend of the show.

[00:46:48] Ladies and gentlemen,

[00:46:48] please welcome Ming Chen.

[00:46:53] What's up guys.

[00:46:54] How are you?

[00:46:55] Oh,

[00:46:55] we're happy to happy 200th.

[00:46:57] My friends.

[00:46:58] Oh,

[00:46:58] we appreciate that,

[00:46:59] man.

[00:46:59] Oh my God.

[00:47:00] We've been telling like subtle stories about you all night,

[00:47:03] man.

[00:47:05] Specifically about the whole Malort story.

[00:47:08] Yes.

[00:47:09] Yeah.

[00:47:10] Well,

[00:47:10] you guys are part of the brotherhood now.

[00:47:12] So yeah,

[00:47:13] welcome.

[00:47:14] You drank it.

[00:47:14] You survived.

[00:47:15] I'm very proud of you guys.

[00:47:17] I'm not sure I didn't die for my first Malort.

[00:47:21] It gives you nine lives.

[00:47:23] You know,

[00:47:23] Red Bull gives you wings and Malort gives you nine lives for sure.

[00:47:26] So you survived.

[00:47:27] I'm very,

[00:47:28] I'm very proud of you.

[00:47:29] Not,

[00:47:29] not many people live to tell the tale.

[00:47:32] It's funny.

[00:47:33] Cause we brought up Malort and graveyard goes,

[00:47:35] Oh my God,

[00:47:35] you drank that?

[00:47:36] That shit sucks.

[00:47:38] Yeah,

[00:47:39] it was awesome.

[00:47:40] Went to a Johnny cash theme bar in San Jose called cash only.

[00:47:43] And it was almost like a secret handshake.

[00:47:45] I'd ask one bartender if they had it,

[00:47:47] they're like,

[00:47:48] all right,

[00:47:48] go talk to the other bartender at the other end.

[00:47:50] His name is Jay.

[00:47:51] Tell him you want Malort.

[00:47:53] And,

[00:47:53] and that's what I did.

[00:47:54] And he had,

[00:47:55] he had to un,

[00:47:56] unhide it.

[00:47:56] It was hidden behind a,

[00:47:57] like a bunch of bags of chips or something.

[00:48:00] And he brought it out.

[00:48:01] And,

[00:48:01] uh,

[00:48:01] you know,

[00:48:02] it was like a secret.

[00:48:03] Yeah.

[00:48:03] It was like a secret knock.

[00:48:04] It was pretty cool.

[00:48:05] Yeah.

[00:48:05] In Chicago,

[00:48:06] we view it as a curse.

[00:48:07] We pass it on to the next person.

[00:48:09] Yeah,

[00:48:10] exactly.

[00:48:10] Well,

[00:48:11] I,

[00:48:11] I spread the love with everybody.

[00:48:12] So,

[00:48:12] uh,

[00:48:13] I'm very proud and,

[00:48:14] uh,

[00:48:15] it was great seeing you guys,

[00:48:16] uh,

[00:48:16] a couple of weeks ago for sure.

[00:48:18] Yeah.

[00:48:18] It's,

[00:48:19] it's funny.

[00:48:19] Cause,

[00:48:20] uh,

[00:48:20] we,

[00:48:20] we ended up naming last week's episode one 99.

[00:48:23] We ended up naming it one more Malort.

[00:48:27] I love it.

[00:48:28] But,

[00:48:28] you know,

[00:48:28] bottles and shots all around my friends.

[00:48:31] We just,

[00:48:31] we made Malort jokes just so we can name the episode.

[00:48:34] One more Malort.

[00:48:35] Yeah.

[00:48:37] Yeah.

[00:48:37] I,

[00:48:37] um,

[00:48:38] I told the companies,

[00:48:39] I've become friends with the people who make it,

[00:48:41] a company called CH distillery.

[00:48:43] And,

[00:48:44] uh,

[00:48:44] you know,

[00:48:44] the,

[00:48:44] the,

[00:48:44] the overall brand is called Jepson's Jepson's Malort.

[00:48:47] I'm like,

[00:48:47] you guys need to market heavily to podcasters.

[00:48:51] Cause I think I truly believe that every podcast should have a bottle of Malort,

[00:48:55] uh,

[00:48:56] in their studio.

[00:48:57] Um,

[00:48:57] um,

[00:48:57] I think it just sparks great conversation and,

[00:49:00] and it brings people together like,

[00:49:02] like it did for us.

[00:49:03] Yeah.

[00:49:03] Well,

[00:49:03] it sounds like we need to do like a Malort challenge.

[00:49:06] Uh,

[00:49:06] that's,

[00:49:06] I think that's what we should do.

[00:49:07] We should start a Malort challenge.

[00:49:09] Yeah.

[00:49:10] Yeah.

[00:49:11] I just want a sponsorship.

[00:49:12] Yeah.

[00:49:13] I mean,

[00:49:13] I,

[00:49:13] I,

[00:49:13] I get free bottles so that we'll start.

[00:49:15] I'll start with that.

[00:49:16] I don't know if that's like exactly a sponsorship or not.

[00:49:19] Like it's usually sponsored something,

[00:49:22] you know,

[00:49:23] you get stuff that you really want.

[00:49:24] And,

[00:49:24] um,

[00:49:25] I,

[00:49:25] I wouldn't say Malort is something that I really want,

[00:49:27] but it'll be like hot wings,

[00:49:30] but with like a shot of Malort,

[00:49:31] it's going to be like,

[00:49:32] can you survive?

[00:49:33] Yeah.

[00:49:34] No.

[00:49:35] The answer is no.

[00:49:36] Yeah.

[00:49:36] The big thing,

[00:49:37] big thing now around the holidays is,

[00:49:38] uh,

[00:49:38] people infuse it with stuff.

[00:49:40] So there,

[00:49:40] there is a candy cane infused Malort.

[00:49:41] Um,

[00:49:43] I just saw one today.

[00:49:44] Somebody infused it with Werther's,

[00:49:46] the candy,

[00:49:46] like Werther's originals.

[00:49:47] Oh my God.

[00:49:50] yeah.

[00:49:50] And there's a bar in Chicago every week.

[00:49:53] They,

[00:49:53] they infuse it with something different.

[00:49:55] Um,

[00:49:55] I had one infused with sauerkraut and it was God awful.

[00:49:59] It was so bad.

[00:50:00] Do you remember the name of the bar?

[00:50:02] Um,

[00:50:04] I'll look it up.

[00:50:04] It was right by Wrigley field.

[00:50:05] There's about,

[00:50:06] it's about two blocks.

[00:50:07] I don't go by Wrigley field.

[00:50:08] So,

[00:50:09] okay.

[00:50:10] Yeah.

[00:50:11] I have to look it up,

[00:50:12] but it was really,

[00:50:13] it was a cool bar,

[00:50:14] but yeah,

[00:50:14] they were like infusion of the week.

[00:50:16] Sauerkraut.

[00:50:16] I'm like done.

[00:50:17] Pour us two.

[00:50:18] Let's go.

[00:50:19] And I,

[00:50:20] I instantly regretted it.

[00:50:22] It was terrible.

[00:50:23] It's terrible,

[00:50:24] man.

[00:50:24] Uh,

[00:50:25] I don't even know what sauerkraut is.

[00:50:26] Is that like,

[00:50:27] is that like white people kimchi?

[00:50:29] I don't,

[00:50:29] it's,

[00:50:30] it's,

[00:50:30] it's,

[00:50:31] I mean,

[00:50:31] yeah,

[00:50:31] kind of.

[00:50:32] Yeah.

[00:50:33] Yeah.

[00:50:33] Without,

[00:50:33] without the,

[00:50:34] without the goji John,

[00:50:35] without the spice.

[00:50:36] Yeah.

[00:50:36] It's,

[00:50:36] it's,

[00:50:37] it's,

[00:50:37] it's just boiled cabbage.

[00:50:39] It's fermented cabbage.

[00:50:40] Yeah.

[00:50:41] Like,

[00:50:42] you know,

[00:50:42] who are the whitest people on the planet?

[00:50:44] The Germans probably.

[00:50:45] yeah.

[00:50:46] Um,

[00:50:47] yeah.

[00:50:47] I mean,

[00:50:47] Germans have been proven for most of,

[00:50:50] uh,

[00:50:50] 20th and 21st century history.

[00:50:52] Yeah.

[00:50:52] Yeah.

[00:50:53] For sure.

[00:50:53] For sure.

[00:50:54] So,

[00:50:55] yeah,

[00:50:55] I,

[00:50:55] I,

[00:50:55] I,

[00:50:55] I'm very proud of you guys though.

[00:50:57] And,

[00:50:57] uh,

[00:50:58] may,

[00:50:58] may we all get to do it together soon.

[00:51:01] Soon.

[00:51:01] Yeah.

[00:51:02] Yeah.

[00:51:02] Yeah.

[00:51:03] So,

[00:51:03] so Sandra in the chat says Jeff has a big challenge.

[00:51:06] Cause he's,

[00:51:06] he's trying to make something to make like malort palatable.

[00:51:09] Um,

[00:51:10] Sandra in,

[00:51:16] you met Jeff over the weekend when we were out drinking.

[00:51:19] So,

[00:51:19] uh,

[00:51:20] yeah,

[00:51:20] Sandra in the chat,

[00:51:21] that's Jeff's wife.

[00:51:22] Amazing.

[00:51:22] Yeah.

[00:51:23] Just hold up the bottle.

[00:51:24] I can almost taste it.

[00:51:25] And that's,

[00:51:25] yeah,

[00:51:26] that taste never leaves you.

[00:51:29] The way I described it,

[00:51:30] I was like,

[00:51:31] it's like drinking ethanol.

[00:51:32] It's great.

[00:51:32] Yeah.

[00:51:33] It never leaves you.

[00:51:34] You never forget it.

[00:51:35] And you know,

[00:51:37] whether that be a good or bad thing,

[00:51:38] it doesn't matter.

[00:51:42] But yes,

[00:51:43] I am over here laughing.

[00:51:44] I'm over here laughing maniacally.

[00:51:46] You guys for,

[00:51:47] I didn't,

[00:51:48] it's not like I tricked you into,

[00:51:49] I told you it was bad.

[00:51:53] I told you when you're,

[00:51:54] when you're hanging out with Ming chin,

[00:51:56] you can't say no to something.

[00:51:58] You could have said,

[00:51:59] I mean,

[00:52:00] I mean,

[00:52:00] you can say no,

[00:52:01] you just look like a bitch.

[00:52:02] That's all it is.

[00:52:04] You definitely could have said no.

[00:52:06] I,

[00:52:06] you know,

[00:52:07] but I'm glad you said yes.

[00:52:10] But it makes it so much fun.

[00:52:11] But you know what?

[00:52:12] Think of the marketing that goes into,

[00:52:14] malort's not paying you for this,

[00:52:15] but they're getting all the love,

[00:52:16] all the marketing,

[00:52:17] you know,

[00:52:18] nonstop talking about malort.

[00:52:19] Yeah.

[00:52:20] It's going to be trending.

[00:52:21] Exactly.

[00:52:21] Hashtag one more malort.

[00:52:24] Tyler in the chat saying,

[00:52:26] you want a malort.

[00:52:27] No,

[00:52:28] you don't.

[00:52:29] No,

[00:52:30] no.

[00:52:30] So you know what it is?

[00:52:31] It's because Tyler smokes so much.

[00:52:32] He can't taste the malort.

[00:52:33] Just like the dude who made malort.

[00:52:36] Wait,

[00:52:37] what?

[00:52:37] Is that how it started?

[00:52:38] Oh,

[00:52:39] you didn't hear the story weird?

[00:52:40] No.

[00:52:40] Yeah.

[00:52:41] It was a dude from Sweden.

[00:52:42] He came over to Chicago and he invented it.

[00:52:44] Cause he smoked so much.

[00:52:45] He couldn't taste anything.

[00:52:46] So he wanted to create something that he could actually taste and enjoy,

[00:52:50] I guess.

[00:52:51] But yeah,

[00:52:52] that's a true story.

[00:52:53] Yep.

[00:52:54] That is crazy.

[00:52:56] That's crazy.

[00:52:57] All right.

[00:52:57] I mean,

[00:52:57] so you're this,

[00:52:59] the year's almost over,

[00:53:00] but we know you're like at cons every week.

[00:53:03] Do you still have cons?

[00:53:04] I do.

[00:53:04] Or like at Thanksgiving?

[00:53:05] I do.

[00:53:05] Holy cow.

[00:53:06] Yeah.

[00:53:07] Yeah.

[00:53:07] I got,

[00:53:07] I have one this weekend.

[00:53:09] It's a one day show in New York city.

[00:53:10] It's called big apple.

[00:53:12] Cause it was,

[00:53:12] it's kind of the,

[00:53:13] it's one of the oldest running cons in New York.

[00:53:15] And it,

[00:53:16] it,

[00:53:16] it kind of without that,

[00:53:18] you know,

[00:53:19] there probably wouldn't be a big New York comic con.

[00:53:21] It was started by this,

[00:53:23] this crazy dude named Mike Carbonaro.

[00:53:25] And he,

[00:53:26] he would run shows eight times a year in church basements in New York city.

[00:53:30] And before that,

[00:53:31] there were no comic cons in New York.

[00:53:33] So he eventually,

[00:53:34] you know,

[00:53:34] he started getting legends coming,

[00:53:35] like Stan Lee,

[00:53:37] like Neil Adams,

[00:53:38] you know,

[00:53:39] guys like that.

[00:53:40] And then at one point he actually sold it to wizard wizard was,

[00:53:43] Whoa,

[00:53:43] we,

[00:53:44] we,

[00:53:44] we want to buy it and we want to start a con in New York.

[00:53:46] And they,

[00:53:47] they,

[00:53:47] they sat on the name for four years and they,

[00:53:49] they couldn't figure it out.

[00:53:50] And they ended up selling it back to him.

[00:53:52] He actually ended up buying it back for like way more than he sold it for.

[00:53:56] And then he just,

[00:53:57] and so,

[00:53:58] so,

[00:53:58] so he continues to do them.

[00:54:00] They're like old school,

[00:54:01] like down and dirty,

[00:54:02] like toys and comics and creators.

[00:54:04] Like they're,

[00:54:05] you know,

[00:54:05] all this other,

[00:54:06] other BS you see at other conventions.

[00:54:08] They don't really,

[00:54:09] he doesn't mess with that.

[00:54:10] It's like old school that you,

[00:54:11] you know,

[00:54:11] you come there to fill in holes in your collection or to find that old GI Joe or transformatory.

[00:54:16] It's very,

[00:54:17] very like super old school.

[00:54:18] Like the ones I used to go to when I was a kid.

[00:54:20] And so they're still going.

[00:54:22] So yeah,

[00:54:22] yeah.

[00:54:22] One day,

[00:54:23] 10 to seven at the New York hotels.

[00:54:25] That's this weekend.

[00:54:26] And then,

[00:54:26] yeah,

[00:54:26] Thanksgiving weekend.

[00:54:27] There's a three day kind of Massachusetts that I'm going to.

[00:54:30] So.

[00:54:30] Oh,

[00:54:32] wow.

[00:54:32] Wow.

[00:54:33] Black Friday is going to a con.

[00:54:35] Yeah,

[00:54:35] exactly.

[00:54:36] I mean,

[00:54:36] we're better place to spend a black Friday than,

[00:54:39] than a comic con really.

[00:54:40] Yeah.

[00:54:40] That's actually a really good point.

[00:54:41] You know,

[00:54:42] yeah.

[00:54:42] Should be doing that too.

[00:54:43] Yeah.

[00:54:43] After that.

[00:54:44] Yeah.

[00:54:45] I hold December appears to be free,

[00:54:46] but there are cons running all the way up until Christmas.

[00:54:49] So people are like,

[00:54:50] when's con season start?

[00:54:51] I'm like,

[00:54:52] it's year round now.

[00:54:53] There's no break anymore.

[00:54:54] So,

[00:54:54] and then,

[00:54:55] yeah,

[00:54:55] January I'm off and running again.

[00:54:56] So it's a,

[00:54:57] it's a fun life,

[00:54:58] man.

[00:54:59] I mean,

[00:54:59] you got,

[00:54:59] you guys were there.

[00:55:00] You guys go to cons.

[00:55:01] You get it.

[00:55:02] Yeah.

[00:55:02] You don't,

[00:55:03] it made me think like after hanging out with you for that one night,

[00:55:06] so much fun,

[00:55:07] just chilling.

[00:55:08] I'm like,

[00:55:09] does Ming do this like every weekend?

[00:55:11] Yeah.

[00:55:11] This is like every day.

[00:55:12] Is he drinking Malone every weekend?

[00:55:17] Thankfully not every weekend.

[00:55:19] Cause it's not available everywhere,

[00:55:20] but you know,

[00:55:21] you,

[00:55:21] you find that weird random bar that has it.

[00:55:23] You,

[00:55:23] you have to,

[00:55:24] you have to,

[00:55:24] you have to order a run to shots for sure.

[00:55:26] But yeah,

[00:55:27] I mean,

[00:55:27] that's why I do it.

[00:55:29] I,

[00:55:29] I mean,

[00:55:29] I,

[00:55:29] I mean,

[00:55:29] I love going to cons.

[00:55:31] I love the environment,

[00:55:32] but when,

[00:55:32] when you really look at it,

[00:55:34] it's being stuck in a concrete box for,

[00:55:36] you know,

[00:55:36] eight,

[00:55:37] 10 hours a day,

[00:55:38] you got to get out,

[00:55:38] you got to get out.

[00:55:39] And if you're going to be flying all over the country or

[00:55:42] all over the world,

[00:55:43] yeah,

[00:55:43] you got to explore it and find the cool dive bars and do

[00:55:46] karaoke and meet the locals and,

[00:55:48] you know,

[00:55:49] maybe wind up at a weird house party or like some,

[00:55:52] some punk concert in some way's backyard.

[00:55:55] You know?

[00:55:55] Yeah.

[00:55:55] You never know.

[00:55:56] So yeah,

[00:55:56] you got to do it.

[00:55:57] I love that.

[00:55:58] I love that.

[00:55:58] How like every weekend of yours is like going to end up

[00:56:01] being an experience,

[00:56:03] you know,

[00:56:03] it's,

[00:56:04] it's so cool how you can be like,

[00:56:05] yeah,

[00:56:05] let's go find every dive bar and see what it's about and see

[00:56:08] what makes this,

[00:56:09] this kind of world tick in whatever city.

[00:56:12] You go to the Navajo and see,

[00:56:14] you know,

[00:56:14] the weirdest shit happen,

[00:56:15] you know?

[00:56:16] Oh,

[00:56:16] we saw some weird shit for sure.

[00:56:18] We saw some weird shit.

[00:56:19] We saw some weird shit.

[00:56:21] That's awesome.

[00:56:22] Yeah.

[00:56:23] And with any luck,

[00:56:23] we'll be back there again.

[00:56:24] My friends.

[00:56:25] Yeah.

[00:56:25] Absolutely.

[00:56:31] I don't know,

[00:56:31] favorite or like the craziest bar or like craziest experience,

[00:56:36] like while you're at the cons doing,

[00:56:37] I mean,

[00:56:38] bar wise.

[00:56:39] I mean,

[00:56:39] I think like the craziest place in the place I love so much,

[00:56:43] there's a place in Atlanta called the Claremont lounge.

[00:56:46] And basically they're,

[00:56:48] they're kind of individual tagline is,

[00:56:49] is it's where strippers go to die.

[00:56:54] And what I mean by that.

[00:56:55] So it's a strip club in Atlanta.

[00:56:56] It's been running over 50 years,

[00:56:58] like almost 60 years now.

[00:56:59] And they welcome,

[00:57:01] the more like unconventional exotic dancers.

[00:57:04] So whether that be,

[00:57:05] you know,

[00:57:06] like a 72 year old stripper or,

[00:57:08] you know,

[00:57:09] a mom and mom and daughter duo,

[00:57:11] or,

[00:57:11] yeah,

[00:57:11] I've seen,

[00:57:12] I've seen pregnant women strip there.

[00:57:14] You know,

[00:57:14] society says that,

[00:57:16] you know,

[00:57:16] once you hit,

[00:57:16] I guess,

[00:57:17] 30 or 35,

[00:57:18] like you shouldn't be stripping anymore.

[00:57:20] Not this place.

[00:57:21] This place welcomes all shapes and sizes.

[00:57:23] Like if you can get up there and shake it like a 17 year old and do it with enthusiasm,

[00:57:27] it doesn't matter what,

[00:57:29] what age you are,

[00:57:29] what you look like,

[00:57:30] or,

[00:57:30] or how many kids you've had.

[00:57:32] You'll make a lot of money there.

[00:57:33] And what I love about that place is it's,

[00:57:35] you know,

[00:57:35] it's pure,

[00:57:36] it's Atlanta.

[00:57:37] Like,

[00:57:37] you know,

[00:57:37] that's where you go to see experience Atlanta,

[00:57:40] you know,

[00:57:40] male,

[00:57:41] female,

[00:57:41] young,

[00:57:41] old,

[00:57:42] rich,

[00:57:42] poor,

[00:57:42] like they welcome everybody.

[00:57:44] And it's,

[00:57:44] it's funny.

[00:57:45] Their only rule there is you're not allowed to take photos,

[00:57:47] which is a fair rule.

[00:57:49] yeah.

[00:57:50] But I read a story that like Mumford and sons went in and they started taking photos.

[00:57:54] They got kicked out.

[00:57:55] Oh,

[00:57:55] wow.

[00:57:55] Like celebrities went in there,

[00:57:57] have been in there and like refuse,

[00:57:58] you know,

[00:57:59] they didn't,

[00:57:59] they think they're above the rules,

[00:58:00] but not at this place.

[00:58:01] So,

[00:58:02] um,

[00:58:02] yeah,

[00:58:03] it's the only rules,

[00:58:03] no cameras.

[00:58:04] So,

[00:58:04] um,

[00:58:05] that's another place we all need to go to one day.

[00:58:08] Atlanta,

[00:58:09] we got to go to Atlanta,

[00:58:09] man.

[00:58:10] Yeah.

[00:58:10] Yeah.

[00:58:10] Yeah.

[00:58:10] Let's make it happen.

[00:58:12] Um,

[00:58:12] that's the second time today where we,

[00:58:14] where somebody said,

[00:58:15] you got to go to Atlanta.

[00:58:16] Yeah.

[00:58:16] And most people don't say that.

[00:58:18] Most people say,

[00:58:19] stay out of Atlanta,

[00:58:20] but yeah,

[00:58:21] I say,

[00:58:21] go to Atlanta.

[00:58:22] Atlanta is awesome.

[00:58:25] It sounds like they got to have Malort there somewhere.

[00:58:29] So we,

[00:58:30] we got to go.

[00:58:30] I'll,

[00:58:31] I'll,

[00:58:31] bring it from Chicago.

[00:58:32] Don't worry.

[00:58:33] I like it.

[00:58:34] He'll transport it across the country.

[00:58:35] Exactly.

[00:58:36] Hey,

[00:58:36] can we talk about your background?

[00:58:38] Like shared universe for a little bit?

[00:58:40] Yeah.

[00:58:40] Oh,

[00:58:40] absolutely.

[00:58:41] Uh,

[00:58:41] you know,

[00:58:41] you're,

[00:58:42] you're talking about podcasting and,

[00:58:43] and,

[00:58:44] uh,

[00:58:44] helping out podcasters,

[00:58:45] which is one of the most fun things in the world.

[00:58:48] Um,

[00:58:49] I think all of us,

[00:58:50] we,

[00:58:50] we started,

[00:58:50] you know,

[00:58:51] 200 episodes in.

[00:58:52] So we started out pretty early.

[00:58:53] Uh,

[00:58:53] I started back in 2010.

[00:58:55] Uh,

[00:58:55] Kevin Smith started in 2007.

[00:58:57] And,

[00:58:58] and while I didn't record back then,

[00:58:59] I helped him with the setup.

[00:59:01] Um,

[00:59:01] I basically,

[00:59:02] I set everything up for him.

[00:59:03] And,

[00:59:04] uh,

[00:59:04] it was Kevin that told me like,

[00:59:06] dude,

[00:59:06] you got to do this.

[00:59:07] Like,

[00:59:08] it's not,

[00:59:08] I,

[00:59:08] you know,

[00:59:09] I know,

[00:59:09] I,

[00:59:09] I know I make it look like fun and I,

[00:59:12] I didn't want to do it cause he did it so well that it,

[00:59:14] it intimidated me.

[00:59:15] I was like,

[00:59:16] well,

[00:59:16] I can't tell.

[00:59:17] I,

[00:59:17] you know,

[00:59:17] I,

[00:59:18] I don't hang out with Ben Affleck and,

[00:59:19] um,

[00:59:20] you know,

[00:59:20] Matt Damon.

[00:59:21] Right.

[00:59:22] I don't have the built-in audience that he did.

[00:59:24] I don't tell a story as good as he did.

[00:59:26] So I was like,

[00:59:26] why would he even start that?

[00:59:27] He's like,

[00:59:28] no,

[00:59:28] no,

[00:59:28] you don't get it.

[00:59:28] Like,

[00:59:29] this is for everybody.

[00:59:30] Um,

[00:59:30] if you,

[00:59:31] if you've ever had a conversation,

[00:59:32] you can podcast.

[00:59:33] And so he,

[00:59:34] he talked me into it and then I found out how much fun it was.

[00:59:37] And I think people like us,

[00:59:39] you know,

[00:59:39] we're,

[00:59:40] we're geeks,

[00:59:40] right?

[00:59:40] So what we love doing is discovering something really cool and then telling

[00:59:45] everybody else about it.

[00:59:46] And,

[00:59:47] you know,

[00:59:47] whether it be a really cool movie or TV show or toy line or,

[00:59:51] or comic con or whatever.

[00:59:52] So this is not,

[00:59:53] this is very,

[00:59:54] very much like that.

[00:59:55] And,

[00:59:55] um,

[00:59:55] once I found out how much fun this was,

[00:59:57] I was like,

[00:59:57] oh man,

[00:59:58] we got to show everybody else how much fun this is.

[01:00:00] Um,

[01:00:00] you know,

[01:00:01] and you know,

[01:00:01] when I started,

[01:00:02] probably when you guys started too,

[01:00:03] I didn't really know any other podcasters.

[01:00:05] Like,

[01:00:05] I think I,

[01:00:06] there was one other one in town that we found out about like one,

[01:00:10] but not,

[01:00:10] you know,

[01:00:10] not like it was now where like everyone's got one.

[01:00:13] So,

[01:00:13] um,

[01:00:14] you know,

[01:00:15] in the beginning,

[01:00:15] it was just trying to get other people to start this.

[01:00:17] So,

[01:00:17] you know,

[01:00:18] we would have a whole community and that's kind of why we started our

[01:00:21] studio,

[01:00:22] uh,

[01:00:22] shared universe podcast studio is,

[01:00:24] uh,

[01:00:25] we,

[01:00:25] we wanted to meet,

[01:00:26] we wanted to,

[01:00:27] uh,

[01:00:27] you know,

[01:00:27] kind of usher in other podcasters and then become friends with them.

[01:00:31] And not only that,

[01:00:31] but then have those podcasters become friends with all the other

[01:00:34] podcasters in our studio.

[01:00:37] you know,

[01:00:37] maybe welcome other ones in as guests or just collaborate or just work

[01:00:41] together somehow.

[01:00:42] And,

[01:00:42] um,

[01:00:43] yeah,

[01:00:43] it's worked out really well.

[01:00:44] So yeah,

[01:00:44] basically,

[01:00:44] you know,

[01:00:45] our,

[01:00:45] our,

[01:00:45] I built,

[01:00:46] uh,

[01:00:46] I got two studios full time.

[01:00:48] Um,

[01:00:49] I got some other offshoot studios are going on right now.

[01:00:51] Uh,

[01:00:51] yeah,

[01:00:51] we,

[01:00:52] we basically,

[01:00:52] I,

[01:00:53] after I built them,

[01:00:53] I just rent them out by the hour to,

[01:00:55] uh,

[01:00:56] aspiring and,

[01:00:57] or experienced podcasters.

[01:00:59] Um,

[01:00:59] and it's been going really well,

[01:01:01] uh,

[01:01:01] especially in the last four or five years for sure.

[01:01:04] Um,

[01:01:05] I mean,

[01:01:05] as,

[01:01:06] as,

[01:01:06] as much as COVID sucked,

[01:01:08] it definitely ushered in the era of the,

[01:01:10] the podcaster for sure.

[01:01:11] And that,

[01:01:12] that might be the only one good thing that came out of it.

[01:01:15] Yeah.

[01:01:17] Maybe the one,

[01:01:17] maybe there's one good podcast out there.

[01:01:19] I don't know.

[01:01:24] Yeah.

[01:01:24] You know what?

[01:01:25] You're right.

[01:01:25] Like I love helping people like Frank was mentioning earlier,

[01:01:29] like helping people,

[01:01:29] talking to people,

[01:01:30] encouraging people just like how you're doing it.

[01:01:32] I love that too.

[01:01:33] And I love how,

[01:01:34] how you've taken that and made it a business.

[01:01:36] You know,

[01:01:37] I think that's super cool.

[01:01:38] So you're doing.

[01:01:40] And,

[01:01:40] uh,

[01:01:40] it's given me the opportunity to run my own business,

[01:01:42] but on the weekends I can go off to conventions.

[01:01:45] Um,

[01:01:45] you know,

[01:01:45] I have,

[01:01:46] I have a small staff that can,

[01:01:47] uh,

[01:01:48] run things over the week during the weekends while I'm gone,

[01:01:50] gone gallivanting around the country at comic con.

[01:01:53] Um,

[01:01:54] but,

[01:01:55] uh,

[01:01:55] yeah,

[01:01:55] usually the podcasting doesn't stop there.

[01:01:56] Usually at comic cons,

[01:01:57] uh,

[01:01:58] I try to see if we can do like a podcasting one-on-one panel or we get

[01:02:01] some podcasters together.

[01:02:03] Uh,

[01:02:03] what,

[01:02:03] what I love seeing,

[01:02:04] uh,

[01:02:05] now and what's cropped up in,

[01:02:07] also last five years or so are a lot of podcasters going to

[01:02:10] conventions or there are geeks already and they started

[01:02:12] podcasts.

[01:02:13] I'm like,

[01:02:13] dude,

[01:02:13] bring your gear down,

[01:02:14] start interviewing people here,

[01:02:16] get content at the conventions for sure.

[01:02:18] you know,

[01:02:19] if you,

[01:02:20] uh,

[01:02:20] and another trend,

[01:02:21] uh,

[01:02:22] I've seen last five,

[01:02:23] five,

[01:02:23] six,

[01:02:23] seven years is,

[01:02:25] uh,

[01:02:25] most conventions,

[01:02:25] uh,

[01:02:26] will tap podcasters to moderate the panels.

[01:02:29] Uh,

[01:02:29] it makes perfect sense.

[01:02:31] Uh,

[01:02:31] why?

[01:02:31] Uh,

[01:02:32] we're experienced at,

[01:02:34] you know,

[01:02:34] preparing for,

[01:02:35] you know,

[01:02:35] like an hour long panel.

[01:02:37] So we come in very prepared.

[01:02:38] We know how to carry a conversation.

[01:02:40] We know how to command an audience.

[01:02:41] Uh,

[01:02:42] we know how not to have gaps in the conversation.

[01:02:44] Uh,

[01:02:44] we know how to talk to guests and interview guests,

[01:02:47] uh,

[01:02:47] cause this is what we do like every week.

[01:02:49] Um,

[01:02:50] and I love seeing that as well.

[01:02:51] Uh,

[01:02:52] or,

[01:02:53] you know,

[01:02:53] if,

[01:02:53] if,

[01:02:54] if,

[01:02:54] if a con just needs an emergency panel moderator,

[01:02:57] uh,

[01:02:58] they can look at,

[01:03:00] you know,

[01:03:00] say the,

[01:03:01] someone from the distance nerding podcast and have them moderate panels all weekend.

[01:03:05] Yeah.

[01:03:05] Yeah.

[01:03:06] Hypothetically or,

[01:03:07] or not hypothetically.

[01:03:08] And,

[01:03:09] I literally saw that happen.

[01:03:11] Yeah.

[01:03:12] Nothing made that happen.

[01:03:13] You made that happen.

[01:03:14] Nothing made me happier to see you up there,

[01:03:16] uh,

[01:03:16] on that stage monitoring panels.

[01:03:18] It was really awesome.

[01:03:19] I appreciate it.

[01:03:20] Real quick,

[01:03:21] shout out to,

[01:03:21] uh,

[01:03:22] Chris from spoiler magazine,

[01:03:23] because he was monitoring the panels and he appreciated that little bit of help that,

[01:03:27] or a lot of bit of help that young Phil brought that presence.

[01:03:31] So thank you for,

[01:03:32] for shouting him out in,

[01:03:34] in,

[01:03:34] it ended up being a good little working environment between Chris and,

[01:03:37] in Philippe over here.

[01:03:39] So thanks for starting that off Ming.

[01:03:40] Oh yeah.

[01:03:41] I,

[01:03:41] I mean,

[01:03:42] it,

[01:03:42] it was definitely one of the highlights of my weekend.

[01:03:45] So,

[01:03:45] uh,

[01:03:46] amongst many highlights,

[01:03:47] but yeah,

[01:03:47] it was really cool.

[01:03:48] So what are you,

[01:03:49] what are you doing when you're not at cons and not doing podcasts?

[01:03:53] Like we taught,

[01:03:54] we mentioned the four 30 movie.

[01:03:55] Like what else is,

[01:03:56] is spurring on Ming's,

[01:03:59] you know,

[01:03:59] uh,

[01:03:59] interests and passions.

[01:04:01] Uh,

[01:04:01] I mainly,

[01:04:01] I'm playing catch up.

[01:04:03] Uh,

[01:04:03] I just got a new cat.

[01:04:04] So that's occupying some of my time here.

[01:04:06] I mean,

[01:04:06] I,

[01:04:06] I do have a family that I have to attend to.

[01:04:09] you know,

[01:04:10] I have a wife and kids outside of getting drunk at cons.

[01:04:14] Yeah.

[01:04:14] I think the number,

[01:04:15] the number two question is,

[01:04:17] are you ever home?

[01:04:18] And,

[01:04:19] um,

[01:04:20] you know,

[01:04:20] during the weekdays,

[01:04:20] I'm at home.

[01:04:21] So,

[01:04:22] um,

[01:04:22] but yeah,

[01:04:23] I,

[01:04:23] you know,

[01:04:23] it's,

[01:04:24] yeah,

[01:04:24] I mean,

[01:04:24] running the,

[01:04:25] running the studios,

[01:04:26] like a,

[01:04:26] uh,

[01:04:26] you know,

[01:04:27] a 25,

[01:04:27] eight job.

[01:04:28] Um,

[01:04:29] I,

[01:04:29] but I,

[01:04:30] I've always got stuff going on.

[01:04:32] Um,

[01:04:32] I mean,

[01:04:33] with Kevin,

[01:04:33] you never know what's going to happen.

[01:04:34] He'd be like,

[01:04:35] Hey,

[01:04:35] can you speak Chinese?

[01:04:36] Yeah.

[01:04:36] Great.

[01:04:37] I'm going to put you in a movie where you speak Chinese.

[01:04:39] And that's what I did in the four 30 movie.

[01:04:41] Um,

[01:04:42] I,

[01:04:42] you know,

[01:04:42] and he's got his movie theater about 10 minutes from here.

[01:04:45] He's always got stuff going on there.

[01:04:46] So I'll pop down there if he's got an event going on.

[01:04:49] Um,

[01:04:49] I'm finally working on a comic book.

[01:04:51] I'm about halfway through writing it.

[01:04:53] So,

[01:04:53] um,

[01:04:54] hopefully I'm,

[01:04:55] I,

[01:04:55] I'm a very slow writer.

[01:04:56] So hopefully I have that out soon.

[01:04:58] Um,

[01:04:58] yeah.

[01:04:59] And you already know we're going to promote the shit out of that when you,

[01:05:01] I really appreciate that.

[01:05:02] Um,

[01:05:03] and yeah,

[01:05:03] I appreciate that twofold.

[01:05:05] one,

[01:05:05] thank you,

[01:05:07] to,

[01:05:07] I'm probably going to crowdfund it.

[01:05:08] So,

[01:05:08] uh,

[01:05:09] yeah,

[01:05:09] the more eyes on that and,

[01:05:10] uh,

[01:05:10] the better for sure.

[01:05:12] Yeah.

[01:05:12] Um,

[01:05:12] but yeah,

[01:05:13] as soon as you get that Kickstarter going,

[01:05:14] dude,

[01:05:14] we got to have you on the show just so we can promote it.

[01:05:16] Yeah.

[01:05:16] Um,

[01:05:17] and,

[01:05:17] uh,

[01:05:17] you know,

[01:05:18] I,

[01:05:18] I was like,

[01:05:19] all right,

[01:05:19] I want,

[01:05:19] I'm going to write the next big superhero that,

[01:05:22] you know,

[01:05:22] that's going to be in the,

[01:05:23] it's going to spur the next TV franchise or movie franchise.

[01:05:27] And then I was like,

[01:05:28] Oh wait,

[01:05:28] I'm not that creative.

[01:05:29] I don't have that next superhero.

[01:05:31] So what I,

[01:05:36] I'm like,

[01:05:36] wait,

[01:05:37] this could,

[01:05:37] I,

[01:05:37] this could be an ongoing comic book series.

[01:05:39] And I just chronicled all my weird convention stories.

[01:05:42] Uh,

[01:05:42] so that's,

[01:05:43] yeah,

[01:05:43] it's as simple as that.

[01:05:45] So,

[01:05:45] um,

[01:05:46] yeah,

[01:05:46] as soon as you said,

[01:05:47] I kept thinking,

[01:05:48] I'm like,

[01:05:48] we know some comic book artists.

[01:05:50] I bet we can help out Ming.

[01:05:51] You were on a show called comic book,

[01:05:53] man.

[01:05:53] Of course,

[01:05:54] you know,

[01:05:54] all the artists from here to like,

[01:05:58] you know,

[01:05:58] the East coast,

[01:05:59] you know?

[01:05:59] So I was like,

[01:06:00] Oh,

[01:06:00] what am I thinking?

[01:06:01] Yeah.

[01:06:01] And putting out this book,

[01:06:02] I'm probably doing it about seven years too late.

[01:06:04] Like it would have been a lot better to capitalize while I was on the show,

[01:06:07] but better late than never,

[01:06:08] my friends.

[01:06:09] So,

[01:06:10] you know,

[01:06:10] better late than never.

[01:06:11] So yeah,

[01:06:12] hopefully that'll be out sometime in the next six months or so.

[01:06:14] Um,

[01:06:15] well,

[01:06:15] yeah,

[01:06:16] it's going to be a lot of fun.

[01:06:17] Uh,

[01:06:17] I,

[01:06:18] um,

[01:06:18] who doesn't want to hear about the time,

[01:06:20] uh,

[01:06:20] Brian Johnson accidentally stole Adam West hotel room.

[01:06:24] Um,

[01:06:26] and you know,

[01:06:27] or the time I met the,

[01:06:28] uh,

[01:06:28] the guy,

[01:06:28] the kid who played short round and from temple of doom,

[01:06:31] you know,

[01:06:31] my,

[01:06:32] my hero when I was growing up,

[01:06:33] uh,

[01:06:34] those are just a couple of examples.

[01:06:35] So yeah,

[01:06:36] key Kwan man.

[01:06:37] Awesome.

[01:06:37] Super cool guy.

[01:06:38] That's awesome.

[01:06:39] I love how like,

[01:06:40] I keep thinking you need your own kids.

[01:06:42] Like,

[01:06:42] I love how into stuff.

[01:06:44] Kwan gets like,

[01:06:45] there,

[01:06:45] there was like an ongoing whole thing where this guy,

[01:06:48] I was doing like a slow down,

[01:06:50] like,

[01:06:50] um,

[01:06:51] slow,

[01:06:52] slow time videos.

[01:06:53] Yep.

[01:06:53] I saw that.

[01:06:54] It was cool.

[01:06:54] And he was like,

[01:06:55] I need to do another one because I need to do a better one than the last one.

[01:06:58] I did.

[01:06:59] Like,

[01:06:59] I love how excited he gets and it just makes me more excited about stuff that he does.

[01:07:03] Yeah.

[01:07:03] Yeah.

[01:07:03] His enthusiasm is definitely infectious.

[01:07:05] And,

[01:07:05] um,

[01:07:06] I,

[01:07:06] uh,

[01:07:07] yeah,

[01:07:07] I,

[01:07:07] um,

[01:07:07] yeah,

[01:07:08] I got to hang out with him a couple of times and it was,

[01:07:10] it was definitely a huge highlight of my life for sure.

[01:07:12] And I just love that he's back too.

[01:07:14] Um,

[01:07:15] yeah,

[01:07:15] he's got a lot of stuff going on and,

[01:07:17] uh,

[01:07:18] it,

[01:07:18] it makes me happy to see him on the screen again.

[01:07:20] Absolutely.

[01:07:21] Hey,

[01:07:21] you're a highlight of our life.

[01:07:23] Drinking with you is a highlight of our life.

[01:07:28] It's funny because we told James when we,

[01:07:30] when we went to,

[01:07:31] uh,

[01:07:32] like how much fun we had with you that first time.

[01:07:34] So like when,

[01:07:35] when the opportunity came back,

[01:07:36] we were just like,

[01:07:37] no,

[01:07:37] James,

[01:07:37] you need to come with us.

[01:07:39] Yeah.

[01:07:39] You need to come and drink with me.

[01:07:41] It's a different experience,

[01:07:42] man.

[01:07:42] And,

[01:07:43] and I'm sure he got that experience.

[01:07:45] You know what I think would be fun.

[01:07:46] I know you're doing a thing where you're going from trying to get to a con in every single state.

[01:07:51] Yes.

[01:07:51] I would like to figure out where your last state is,

[01:07:54] where your last con is.

[01:07:55] That's going to check it off your bucket list.

[01:07:57] I'm like,

[01:07:58] we got to go to that con.

[01:07:59] That would be fun.

[01:08:01] I'll figure that out.

[01:08:02] Uh,

[01:08:03] I mean,

[01:08:04] I,

[01:08:04] yeah,

[01:08:04] this all spurred because I'm about to hit my 50th state,

[01:08:08] uh,

[01:08:08] next year,

[01:08:09] which is South Dakota.

[01:08:10] so I've hit every other,

[01:08:11] every,

[01:08:12] every state.

[01:08:12] And then I was like,

[01:08:13] well,

[01:08:13] once I do that,

[01:08:14] what's next.

[01:08:15] And,

[01:08:15] yeah,

[01:08:16] the goals to hit a comic con in every state.

[01:08:18] I mean,

[01:08:18] I've already knocked off the two hardest ones.

[01:08:20] Uh,

[01:08:21] I went to a con in Alaska and Hawaii this year.

[01:08:23] So,

[01:08:24] um,

[01:08:25] yeah,

[01:08:25] so it's just going to be random states.

[01:08:27] I haven't done one in,

[01:08:28] you know,

[01:08:28] like Arkansas,

[01:08:29] or,

[01:08:30] uh,

[01:08:31] I'm trying to think of some other state.

[01:08:33] Yeah.

[01:08:33] Little rock has a big con that I've heard.

[01:08:35] Yeah,

[01:08:35] they do.

[01:08:36] Yeah.

[01:08:36] There's definitely a,

[01:08:37] a Arkansas comic con for sure.

[01:08:39] Uh,

[01:08:39] Montana is probably going to be the toughest one.

[01:08:41] Uh,

[01:08:41] as big as state that is,

[01:08:42] there's not much geekdom going on there,

[01:08:44] but I saw there are,

[01:08:45] there are a couple sci-fi cons up there.

[01:08:48] So we'll,

[01:08:48] we'll figure it out.

[01:08:49] We've been to Oklahoma.

[01:08:50] Uh,

[01:08:51] not a con.

[01:08:52] I've been to Oklahoma,

[01:08:52] but,

[01:08:53] uh,

[01:08:53] I,

[01:08:53] I,

[01:08:54] I met a guy who does a,

[01:08:55] uh,

[01:08:56] a pop culture and horror con there.

[01:08:57] And,

[01:08:58] uh,

[01:08:58] he was like,

[01:08:59] Hey man,

[01:08:59] why don't you come to one of my future shows?

[01:09:01] I'm like done.

[01:09:02] so yeah.

[01:09:02] Hey,

[01:09:03] yeah.

[01:09:03] Yeah.

[01:09:04] Me and Frey will happily.

[01:09:05] Yeah.

[01:09:05] If you said horror con,

[01:09:07] I'll be there too.

[01:09:10] Yeah.

[01:09:12] It's an,

[01:09:13] I'll go to Sydney or Tulsa.

[01:09:14] I can't remember,

[01:09:14] but,

[01:09:15] uh,

[01:09:15] either one.

[01:09:16] I'm in Tulsa.

[01:09:17] So fantastic.

[01:09:18] Fantastic.

[01:09:19] Ming,

[01:09:19] you're amazing.

[01:09:20] We love you.

[01:09:21] Yes.

[01:09:21] Yeah.

[01:09:22] I mean,

[01:09:23] yeah.

[01:09:24] Happy 200th.

[01:09:25] I mean,

[01:09:25] I tell those people,

[01:09:26] I tell people this all the time,

[01:09:27] especially when they hit milestones.

[01:09:28] Uh,

[01:09:29] you know,

[01:09:29] most podcasts don't last over 10 episodes.

[01:09:31] So,

[01:09:32] um,

[01:09:32] yeah,

[01:09:33] especially once you do with your friends.

[01:09:34] So I've,

[01:09:36] it's funny.

[01:09:36] I,

[01:09:37] I mean,

[01:09:37] I see so much podcast drama in the studio.

[01:09:39] It's,

[01:09:39] it's insane.

[01:09:40] I'm like,

[01:09:41] will you guys just shut up and record?

[01:09:43] Like,

[01:09:44] yeah,

[01:09:45] you guys are idiots.

[01:09:46] Like,

[01:09:46] I don't,

[01:09:46] yeah.

[01:09:47] I don't care who stole whose idea or I don't,

[01:09:49] you,

[01:09:50] and you guys aren't famous enough to be a bickering like this.

[01:09:53] Like just,

[01:09:54] yeah.

[01:09:55] Yeah.

[01:09:56] What?

[01:09:56] Yeah.

[01:09:57] And you know,

[01:09:57] of course,

[01:09:58] every time some people,

[01:09:59] they finish like,

[01:10:00] how are we,

[01:10:01] how,

[01:10:01] did we do good?

[01:10:02] I'm like,

[01:10:02] Oh man,

[01:10:02] you guys were awesome.

[01:10:03] Like,

[01:10:03] of course I'm going to say that.

[01:10:05] So yeah,

[01:10:07] now that for us,

[01:10:08] uh,

[01:10:08] we,

[01:10:08] we've always said the day we stopped having fun is the day we stopped doing the

[01:10:11] show.

[01:10:11] So we can have fun.

[01:10:13] Same thing with everything I do in my life.

[01:10:14] So,

[01:10:14] right.

[01:10:15] And,

[01:10:15] uh,

[01:10:16] and,

[01:10:16] uh,

[01:10:16] I,

[01:10:17] I,

[01:10:17] I wish you guys were at every con with me,

[01:10:19] but,

[01:10:19] uh,

[01:10:19] we'll,

[01:10:20] we'll,

[01:10:20] you know,

[01:10:21] I appreciate every moment I have with you guys.

[01:10:23] So,

[01:10:23] uh,

[01:10:24] you know,

[01:10:24] until the next one,

[01:10:24] my friends.

[01:10:25] Absolutely,

[01:10:26] man.

[01:10:26] Hey,

[01:10:26] maybe one,

[01:10:27] one of these days we will be going to every con with you that let's,

[01:10:30] let's make it happen.

[01:10:30] We just said it out loud.

[01:10:32] We just manifested it.

[01:10:33] Let's do it.

[01:10:33] Let's do it.

[01:10:34] Let's do that.

[01:10:34] There in the universe.

[01:10:35] All right.

[01:10:36] All right.

[01:10:36] Well,

[01:10:36] we appreciate you coming on,

[01:10:37] man.

[01:10:38] We appreciate you.

[01:10:41] Have a good night,

[01:10:42] my friend.

[01:10:44] Thanks being,

[01:10:45] man.

[01:10:46] Have a great show.

[01:10:47] I appreciate it.

[01:10:48] Uh,

[01:10:48] he is probably the coolest guy.

[01:10:51] What a legend.

[01:10:53] God,

[01:10:54] God.

[01:10:55] Speaking of bonds,

[01:10:57] I want to throw this out there real quick.

[01:10:58] Uh,

[01:10:58] black Friday.

[01:10:59] I know a lot of you guys are in the area.

[01:11:00] Yeah.

[01:11:01] San Francisco has got a fan expo going on.

[01:11:03] And so yeah,

[01:11:04] three day event.

[01:11:05] If you guys are heading there,

[01:11:05] we got an Airbnb and I'll,

[01:11:07] I'll go buy a bottle of that poison.

[01:11:08] Malort.

[01:11:10] We'll go to town.

[01:11:12] That's the shot.

[01:11:13] You give your enemy.

[01:11:14] That's what it's known as.

[01:11:15] It's terrible.

[01:11:16] that's,

[01:11:16] but that's their,

[01:11:17] um,

[01:11:18] that's their marketing is the shot you give your enemy.

[01:11:20] Yeah.

[01:11:21] But that's good.

[01:11:22] But your enemy is going to become your friend after that,

[01:11:25] because it's a,

[01:11:25] it's an experience and you have to bond over Malort.

[01:11:29] You're going to be at fan expo.

[01:11:30] We're going to be at fan expo.

[01:11:31] So yeah,

[01:11:32] I'm not joking about that.

[01:11:33] If you guys feel like getting away from the family,

[01:11:34] if they're coming in for Thanksgiving,

[01:11:36] head on over to SF,

[01:11:37] uh,

[01:11:38] we're going to be hanging out there.

[01:11:39] And,

[01:11:39] uh,

[01:11:40] Charlie Cox,

[01:11:40] Christian Hadenson,

[01:11:42] a lot of good people are going to be there.

[01:11:43] It's going to be a good event.

[01:11:43] Awesome.

[01:11:44] Yeah.

[01:11:44] Unfortunately,

[01:11:45] I'm probably going to be working,

[01:11:47] but I mean like,

[01:11:47] uh,

[01:11:48] like black Friday,

[01:11:49] I usually end up still having to work.

[01:11:51] Yeah.

[01:11:52] and then Saturday for sure.

[01:11:53] Cause I worked Tuesday through Saturday,

[01:11:54] but,

[01:11:55] um,

[01:11:55] we had them on earlier,

[01:11:56] but,

[01:11:57] uh,

[01:11:57] artists,

[01:11:58] comic book artist,

[01:11:58] Brandon McKinney is also going to be at fandom con signing some stuff,

[01:12:02] you know?

[01:12:02] So make sure you stop by Brandon's table,

[01:12:04] say hi,

[01:12:05] that sort of thing.

[01:12:05] And who,

[01:12:06] I think Diego is going to be there too,

[01:12:07] right?

[01:12:09] So we have two artists that were on the show with you tonight that will be at fan

[01:12:14] expo.

[01:12:14] So go check them out.

[01:12:15] Yeah.

[01:12:16] I can't,

[01:12:16] I can't suggest.

[01:12:17] So let's get back into it.

[01:12:18] Sorry.

[01:12:19] I know so much fun.

[01:12:20] So much fun.

[01:12:21] So Frank,

[01:12:22] how often do you get out to go to the cons?

[01:12:24] Uh,

[01:12:24] you know,

[01:12:25] in summertime,

[01:12:25] right?

[01:12:26] That's,

[01:12:26] that's when it's like really popping off.

[01:12:28] You're going to the local ones as much as you can.

[01:12:30] Uh,

[01:12:30] right now it's mostly the big ones.

[01:12:31] We normally would go to bliss con this time of year,

[01:12:33] but lizard decided to cancel that on us.

[01:12:35] So,

[01:12:35] uh,

[01:12:35] luckily the fan expo folks invited us.

[01:12:37] So we were heading over there.

[01:12:38] Uh,

[01:12:38] our first fan expo was in Denver and really enjoyed it.

[01:12:42] It was,

[01:12:42] it was,

[01:12:42] uh,

[01:12:43] you could tell that they're really trying to escalate their game.

[01:12:45] San Jose's got galaxy con that they're really throwing some money into.

[01:12:48] So I think that's going to be another big one that we're excited about too.

[01:12:51] I'm sorry.

[01:12:51] Did you say you're getting invited to cons now?

[01:12:54] Okay.

[01:12:54] We need to get to the geek freak level because no invited to cons it's press,

[01:13:01] you know,

[01:13:01] press.

[01:13:02] So you go to your,

[01:13:03] your,

[01:13:03] they invite you to cover the event.

[01:13:04] So I'm sure you guys can do the same thing.

[01:13:06] You just gotta,

[01:13:06] you gotta apply.

[01:13:07] You're getting invited.

[01:13:08] That's it.

[01:13:09] That's all that matters.

[01:13:09] There's one con that we get invited to at this point.

[01:13:12] And that's LA comic con.

[01:13:13] Uh,

[01:13:14] they,

[01:13:14] they do invite us as print as press.

[01:13:16] Oh,

[01:13:16] I have a bone to pick with those guys.

[01:13:18] So,

[01:13:19] you know,

[01:13:19] we've got the whole team that's going down to LA comic con and I always get a

[01:13:23] press pass for those guys.

[01:13:24] Easy peasy.

[01:13:25] And this year,

[01:13:26] and by the way,

[01:13:26] I'm the editor.

[01:13:27] I'm the social media guy.

[01:13:28] I'm the North,

[01:13:29] the calendar.

[01:13:29] I'm everything.

[01:13:30] I'm the only one that did not get a media pass this year and everybody else got

[01:13:33] them.

[01:13:34] And so I'm talking to the,

[01:13:35] you know how there's always a PR person.

[01:13:37] I'm like,

[01:13:37] look,

[01:13:38] if you don't want me to go,

[01:13:39] I don't know what's going to happen from our end.

[01:13:41] Like it's just going to be a bunch of pictures taken,

[01:13:43] but yeah.

[01:13:44] So LA comic con will be there next year.

[01:13:46] You guys burned me this year.

[01:13:48] Oh no.

[01:13:49] Yeah.

[01:13:49] No,

[01:13:50] Nicole's usually pretty good about that stuff,

[01:13:51] man.

[01:13:52] She's been really good with us on that.

[01:13:53] So I'm sure it was just a fluke.

[01:13:55] You know,

[01:13:55] I didn't really push it too hard cause I didn't,

[01:13:57] I know that they're busy,

[01:13:58] especially,

[01:13:58] you know,

[01:13:59] you guys get the emails and stuff like that,

[01:14:00] like two weeks before the comic.

[01:14:01] Oh my God,

[01:14:02] you guys have got to be losing your mind right now.

[01:14:04] Yeah.

[01:14:04] Well,

[01:14:05] Hey,

[01:14:05] if that happens next year,

[01:14:07] you just let us know.

[01:14:08] We'll get you in.

[01:14:10] We're going to make you wear a distance nerding shirt.

[01:14:14] So there we go.

[01:14:16] I'm wearing a geek freaks hat,

[01:14:17] but you're rocking a DN shirt,

[01:14:19] man.

[01:14:19] There we go.

[01:14:20] Proudly.

[01:14:21] We definitely need to find a con that we're both at and make sure that

[01:14:24] we're,

[01:14:24] we're hanging out.

[01:14:25] Oh,

[01:14:25] that is a good one too.

[01:14:26] Yeah.

[01:14:26] That's the best.

[01:14:27] You know how many times I think it was Matt that might've been

[01:14:29] saying it,

[01:14:30] or maybe it was,

[01:14:30] it was over the gym,

[01:14:32] but I'm going to be smacking Deadpool's that are,

[01:14:35] Deadpool's ass next time I see you at a con,

[01:14:36] man.

[01:14:37] Yeah.

[01:14:37] For sure.

[01:14:38] So,

[01:14:38] so every time I see you at a con,

[01:14:40] I'm just like,

[01:14:40] ah,

[01:14:41] if I can smack that ass,

[01:14:42] I'd be there.

[01:14:44] So,

[01:14:45] so it's,

[01:14:46] it's funny because like,

[01:14:47] it's,

[01:14:48] it's not a joke.

[01:14:48] You know,

[01:14:49] when,

[01:14:50] when you say cosplay is not consent,

[01:14:52] that's the,

[01:14:52] that's,

[01:14:53] it's a real thing.

[01:14:53] Right now I am the opposite.

[01:14:56] I will not touch,

[01:14:57] but there are plenty of people who will grab my ass.

[01:15:00] I have no ass,

[01:15:01] right?

[01:15:01] I have,

[01:15:02] I have zero cheeks.

[01:15:04] And for some reason,

[01:15:06] somebody always grabs my ass and it's like,

[01:15:08] I don't,

[01:15:09] I don't have any ass.

[01:15:10] What are you grabbing?

[01:15:11] I'm grabbing air.

[01:15:12] We'll find it.

[01:15:13] On a mission.

[01:15:15] The search for Phil's ass.

[01:15:18] There's your next shirt right there.

[01:15:19] The search for Phil's ass.

[01:15:21] If anybody finds it,

[01:15:23] that'd be great.

[01:15:26] We want to know where it is.

[01:15:27] I know,

[01:15:28] right?

[01:15:28] It's a medical issue.

[01:15:30] All right.

[01:15:31] Well,

[01:15:31] I'm going to be,

[01:15:31] I'm going to be heading out,

[01:15:32] but again,

[01:15:33] guys,

[01:15:33] I got to give you a big shout out for 200 episodes.

[01:15:35] It's fantastic hanging out with you.

[01:15:36] And I can't wait to see what you guys got cooking next.

[01:15:38] Thank you for inviting me.

[01:15:39] And again,

[01:15:40] congrats on the 200.

[01:15:41] We appreciate it,

[01:15:42] man.

[01:15:42] We got to have to go vice versa.

[01:15:44] You got to get your plug.

[01:15:45] You got to get your plug.

[01:15:46] Yes.

[01:15:46] Give us all your plugs,

[01:15:47] man.

[01:15:47] And we're about to get your plug.

[01:15:48] Anyway.

[01:15:49] So just Google geek freaks to find us.

[01:15:51] But if you guys are listening to this podcast right now,

[01:15:53] none of people do this,

[01:15:54] drop a review for distance nerding.

[01:15:56] It's so easy to do.

[01:15:57] It's free way to support the podcast.

[01:15:58] Make sure you guys do that.

[01:15:59] Oh,

[01:15:59] we appreciate that,

[01:16:00] man.

[01:16:00] That's awesome.

[01:16:02] That's a professional.

[01:16:05] I'll see you around.

[01:16:05] Have a good one.

[01:16:06] Absolutely.

[01:16:06] Thank you.

[01:16:07] God,

[01:16:09] man,

[01:16:09] this,

[01:16:09] this has been an amazing show and amazing experience.

[01:16:12] We've had a crap ton of fun tonight.

[01:16:15] But,

[01:16:15] but we really do have to start jumping into,

[01:16:19] to,

[01:16:19] to,

[01:16:19] to the end of this.

[01:16:20] Cause guys,

[01:16:21] I don't know if you know this,

[01:16:22] but over here at DN,

[01:16:24] we got merch people.

[01:16:25] We got merch people.

[01:16:28] No,

[01:16:29] no.

[01:16:32] There it is.

[01:16:33] There you,

[01:16:33] there it is.

[01:16:34] We got merch people.

[01:16:35] We don't have hat anymore,

[01:16:36] but we do got shirts.

[01:16:38] We don't have hat because Ming has hat.

[01:16:40] Ming,

[01:16:40] we should have said something to the,

[01:16:41] about the hat to Ming.

[01:16:43] Oh my God.

[01:16:46] Would it be weird if we like Ming,

[01:16:47] can we have the hat back?

[01:16:49] No,

[01:16:50] no,

[01:16:50] because then you would not have a joke anymore,

[01:16:52] man.

[01:16:53] But look,

[01:16:54] we got,

[01:16:54] we got the logo shirt in black.

[01:16:56] We got the charcoal character shirt that you're modeling.

[01:17:00] Look at our model right there.

[01:17:01] Look at that.

[01:17:02] Beautiful.

[01:17:02] And you know what's funny is people love this shirt,

[01:17:04] man.

[01:17:05] You know,

[01:17:05] it's,

[01:17:06] it's one thing like,

[01:17:06] it's funny enough.

[01:17:08] Most people don't realize that to me with a Deadpool shirt,

[01:17:10] with a Deadpool mask on,

[01:17:11] but like they look at James and look at those round,

[01:17:13] amazing arms.

[01:17:14] Look at that,

[01:17:15] James.

[01:17:15] The shoulders.

[01:17:16] It's the shoulders.

[01:17:17] Really define it.

[01:17:18] Really define it.

[01:17:19] But anyway.

[01:17:20] And really enough,

[01:17:20] that's only accurate for Phil.

[01:17:23] I was,

[01:17:24] I was trying to pass it off and say,

[01:17:26] no,

[01:17:26] James has the nice shoulders.

[01:17:27] Okay.

[01:17:30] So if you want one of the shirts,

[01:17:31] logo shirt,

[01:17:32] character shirt,

[01:17:32] 20 bucks each,

[01:17:33] all you got to do is DM us on Instagram.

[01:17:36] Let us know which shirt you're looking for,

[01:17:38] what sizes,

[01:17:38] how many you're looking for,

[01:17:39] 20 bucks each,

[01:17:41] 25.

[01:17:41] If we got to ship it to you or we're at the cons,

[01:17:45] that's right there.

[01:17:45] 20 bucks.

[01:17:46] Easy enough.

[01:17:47] If you're in Florida,

[01:17:48] it might cost you a little bit more because there's an alligator tax.

[01:17:51] So Florida,

[01:17:52] Florida,

[01:17:52] man,

[01:17:53] Florida,

[01:17:53] gotta get paid.

[01:17:54] But yeah,

[01:17:54] Instagram distance nerding.

[01:17:56] Let us know how many shirts you want.

[01:17:57] It is Christmas time.

[01:17:59] That's right.

[01:17:59] You're making a great gift for your,

[01:18:01] for your kids and your friends and the random homeless person that you walk down the street.

[01:18:07] You're going to go,

[01:18:07] uh,

[01:18:07] force to drink malort.

[01:18:08] That's right.

[01:18:09] That's right.

[01:18:09] Uh,

[01:18:10] it,

[01:18:10] it,

[01:18:10] it makes good wrapping paper for your malort.

[01:18:13] Oh my gosh.

[01:18:14] So I have to set a fire and the shirt.

[01:18:18] Don't shut the,

[01:18:18] don't set the shirt on fire.

[01:18:20] Then that would not.

[01:18:21] I just think it touches,

[01:18:23] turns on fire when it touches more.

[01:18:24] Cause it tastes like burning.

[01:18:27] Just for 200 episodes.

[01:18:29] How many episodes do we have of,

[01:18:31] of,

[01:18:31] uh,

[01:18:32] the build?

[01:18:33] Uh,

[01:18:33] we've got,

[01:18:34] we've got a lot of them,

[01:18:35] man,

[01:18:35] but I mean,

[01:18:35] let's talk about the schedule here because we do have a schedule.

[01:18:38] So ladies and gentlemen,

[01:18:40] Tuesdays,

[01:18:40] the download,

[01:18:41] normally the show that you would be watching right now,

[01:18:43] six 30 to eight 30.

[01:18:44] Of course we went started early,

[01:18:45] went a little over,

[01:18:46] uh,

[01:18:47] but I mean,

[01:18:48] you know,

[01:18:48] 200th episode,

[01:18:49] it was a lot.

[01:18:50] And,

[01:18:50] and,

[01:18:50] and we kind of need that Thursdays and Fridays,

[01:18:53] the build.

[01:18:54] Uh,

[01:18:54] so the Thursday shows from six to eight is a full build Fridays.

[01:18:57] We do it from six to seven,

[01:18:59] uh,

[01:18:59] which is mainly just the,

[01:19:01] uh,

[01:19:01] the interview,

[01:19:02] but last ladies and gentlemen,

[01:19:03] and we do a whole bunch of this stuff.

[01:19:05] Now,

[01:19:05] of course this Thursday,

[01:19:06] we will not be doing an episode of the build,

[01:19:09] uh,

[01:19:09] mainly because it is Jack's,

[01:19:10] uh,

[01:19:11] birthday.

[01:19:11] So we're celebrating that.

[01:19:12] Uh,

[01:19:13] but Friday,

[01:19:14] uh,

[01:19:14] some return.

[01:19:15] Are we all going?

[01:19:15] What are we going to do?

[01:19:16] Uh,

[01:19:17] I mean,

[01:19:17] if you want to come,

[01:19:18] we,

[01:19:18] we're going to be eating some deliciousness.

[01:19:20] So it's going to be great.

[01:19:21] All Malark course.

[01:19:22] Every Malark's been put into every course of the,

[01:19:24] every meal.

[01:19:24] How did you know?

[01:19:26] Uh,

[01:19:26] so this Friday,

[01:19:27] ladies and gentlemen,

[01:19:28] the 22nd,

[01:19:29] we're going to be,

[01:19:29] uh,

[01:19:29] so Sacramento ghostbusters are coming back on the show.

[01:19:32] It's been a while since they've been on the show.

[01:19:34] Uh,

[01:19:34] specifically terror dog squad is going to be on the show and it's going to be a

[01:19:38] good time talking about their,

[01:19:39] uh,

[01:19:39] charity,

[01:19:39] uh,

[01:19:40] events and everything that they do,

[01:19:41] but just all the fun that they do,

[01:19:43] uh,

[01:19:44] in their cosplay efforts and,

[01:19:45] and just ghostbusters cosplay.

[01:19:47] So it's,

[01:19:47] it's going to be a fun time with them.

[01:19:49] Sweet.

[01:19:49] Very cool.

[01:19:50] Huh?

[01:19:50] I can't believe it's been 200 episodes,

[01:19:52] 200 episodes,

[01:19:53] man.

[01:19:53] I dig it.

[01:19:54] Crazy.

[01:19:54] Yeah.

[01:19:55] So guys,

[01:19:55] we need all of the plugs.

[01:19:58] It is pluggable time.

[01:20:00] And she do,

[01:20:01] she do need a new camera.

[01:20:04] So she do give us your pluggable,

[01:20:06] sir.

[01:20:07] Okay,

[01:20:07] great.

[01:20:07] If my,

[01:20:08] if my light doesn't fall over again,

[01:20:09] and now the dog,

[01:20:10] sir,

[01:20:10] that's noticed.

[01:20:12] All right.

[01:20:13] I have had such a studio.

[01:20:15] It's on YouTube and Instagram.

[01:20:16] I currently do elder schools,

[01:20:18] content,

[01:20:18] TTRPG videos,

[01:20:19] lore from my own fantasy world,

[01:20:21] my own custom music,

[01:20:22] paranormal investigations,

[01:20:23] and so much more.

[01:20:24] I am also on phrase channel.

[01:20:26] We have a little series called classified,

[01:20:28] where we take your favorite pop culture characters and place them into their respective D and D classes.

[01:20:33] Journals of the peoples replace journals of the classes.

[01:20:36] Uh,

[01:20:36] in that series,

[01:20:36] we will go over the different peoples or species that inhabit the worlds of D and D.

[01:20:41] Uh,

[01:20:41] in the meantime,

[01:20:42] we are filming season two of classified.

[01:20:45] I'm also in the distance learning sphere.

[01:20:47] I'm on the download on Tuesdays,

[01:20:48] which is the very show you are watching right now,

[01:20:50] the build on Thursdays and sometimes Fridays.

[01:20:53] And supposedly I'm on Kyber cave.

[01:20:55] We're not.

[01:20:56] Supposedly.

[01:20:57] I'm like,

[01:20:57] supposedly we don't,

[01:20:58] we don't know,

[01:20:59] but supposedly,

[01:21:00] uh,

[01:21:02] Uh,

[01:21:02] give us your pluggable,

[01:21:03] sir.

[01:21:03] Yes,

[01:21:03] I am graveyard.

[01:21:04] Co-host of the mostly pod out night,

[01:21:06] mostly podcast.

[01:21:07] Pod.

[01:21:08] Yeah.

[01:21:09] Mostly.

[01:21:09] Guys,

[01:21:10] you gotta listen.

[01:21:10] I'm telling you,

[01:21:11] you have to listen to it.

[01:21:12] I,

[01:21:12] I,

[01:21:12] I was behind.

[01:21:13] I just got caught up today.

[01:21:15] Um,

[01:21:15] I,

[01:21:16] I'm not going to say that I,

[01:21:17] that I don't absolutely love the,

[01:21:19] uh,

[01:21:19] the November episodes,

[01:21:20] but I do absolutely love the November episodes.

[01:21:24] Uh,

[01:21:24] and,

[01:21:24] and cause they're good movies that we watch.

[01:21:26] And the review on Terminator was great,

[01:21:29] but the review on next Machina,

[01:21:30] I was like,

[01:21:31] man,

[01:21:31] I gotta go rewatch that movie.

[01:21:32] And then also,

[01:21:34] uh,

[01:21:34] upgrade is on my list.

[01:21:35] I need to go watch it.

[01:21:36] Yeah.

[01:21:36] Yeah.

[01:21:37] It is the month of Salem where we purge our palates from the

[01:21:40] Malort build episodes of October.

[01:21:44] Cause we want really bad stuff.

[01:21:47] They watch the Malort,

[01:21:49] uh,

[01:21:49] equivalent of,

[01:21:50] of movies.

[01:21:51] Yes.

[01:21:52] Uh,

[01:21:52] so make sure to check that out every,

[01:21:53] uh,

[01:21:54] this last two weeks is me a little bit off,

[01:21:56] maybe Thursdays for the last two episodes of this month,

[01:21:58] but check out conversations of the void over on YouTube.

[01:22:00] Every Wednesday is where we interview people in the horror world.

[01:22:03] Uh,

[01:22:03] we have some really great guests line up for the next couple of

[01:22:05] months.

[01:22:06] I'm excited.

[01:22:06] And if anyone's watching is in the Chicagoland area this weekend,

[01:22:11] myself and the horror dads will be at the days of that con in

[01:22:15] Chicago with our own table as press passes as well.

[01:22:18] So it's our first con doing something like this.

[01:22:21] And we're really excited for it.

[01:22:23] We're hoping to talk to really great people and get invited back

[01:22:25] because there is a all monsters attack one in Chicago in June.

[01:22:30] With Rob Paulson coming in all their voice caps of TMNT.

[01:22:34] Yes.

[01:22:35] Nice.

[01:22:36] Say hi to Rob for us,

[01:22:37] man.

[01:22:37] I love that guy.

[01:22:38] That's awesome.

[01:22:39] That is so cool.

[01:22:40] Hey,

[01:22:41] real quick while we're on pluggables,

[01:22:42] I just want to plug everybody who's been part of the show over the

[01:22:46] years.

[01:22:46] It's been,

[01:22:46] it's been great.

[01:22:47] You know,

[01:22:47] it's,

[01:22:48] it's been mainly,

[01:22:49] you know,

[01:22:50] young Phil and I more mainly young Phil,

[01:22:52] but you know,

[01:22:53] all our hosts that have come on.

[01:22:55] So like,

[01:22:55] you know,

[01:22:56] Liam or should do in graveyard and,

[01:22:58] and Fray has been great.

[01:23:00] You know,

[01:23:00] fours who's been on and,

[01:23:02] you know,

[01:23:03] doing,

[01:23:03] he's doing fun things right now.

[01:23:04] Like we had a lease on,

[01:23:06] but you know,

[01:23:06] we were supposed to have four or some,

[01:23:07] but he's busy doing some voice acting stuff right now.

[01:23:10] So shout out to him,

[01:23:11] everybody else,

[01:23:13] all the errands,

[01:23:14] everybody in the chat,

[01:23:15] you know,

[01:23:15] the long families.

[01:23:16] They were amazing.

[01:23:18] Definitely.

[01:23:18] We love you guys.

[01:23:19] Shout out to bird,

[01:23:20] bird,

[01:23:26] Tater's all right.

[01:23:27] Check up there.

[01:23:29] Okay.

[01:23:30] Tater.

[01:23:33] But yeah,

[01:23:33] if you have something you want to discuss,

[01:23:35] tell us what you're nerding out on and make sure to let us know in the

[01:23:37] Facebook group,

[01:23:38] the distance nerdington post.

[01:23:40] That's right.

[01:23:43] It's,

[01:23:43] it's real easy.

[01:23:44] All you got to do is go over to the distance nerding website,

[01:23:47] head over to distance nerding.com.

[01:23:48] Go up to the big blue button at the top right there.

[01:23:50] You can hit the buy some taco button.

[01:23:52] That's right.

[01:23:53] Ladies and gentlemen,

[01:23:53] you could join the taco party,

[01:24:06] and all the different shows and live events and prizes,

[01:24:10] everything like that.

[01:24:11] Like Frank said earlier,

[01:24:13] leave us a review guys.

[01:24:14] If you enjoy our content and you enjoy the shows that we do,

[01:24:16] everything that we do head over to either Spotify or Apple,

[01:24:20] wherever you listen to your podcast and leave us a review.

[01:24:23] It does help out.

[01:24:24] Cause it gets the algorithm to think that we're actually decent and good at

[01:24:27] what we do.

[01:24:28] Now,

[01:24:29] of course,

[01:24:29] ladies and gentlemen,

[01:24:35] Do it.

[01:24:35] Wait,

[01:24:36] do it.

[01:24:36] Do it.

[01:24:37] Come on.

[01:24:38] Do it now.

[01:24:42] Okay.

[01:24:50] Twitch,

[01:24:50] Tik TOK threads,

[01:24:51] YouTube,

[01:24:52] discord,

[01:24:52] my space,

[01:24:53] vine,

[01:24:54] geo cities,

[01:24:54] friendster,

[01:24:55] second life,

[01:24:55] aim farmers,

[01:24:56] only Christian mingle,

[01:24:57] only fans.

[01:24:58] It's only pictures of Aaron Watson's feet and mandels.

[01:25:02] Of course,

[01:25:02] the beard,

[01:25:03] as you can see right there and John has his glasses,

[01:25:05] just sitting there on a table,

[01:25:07] seductively staring at me,

[01:25:08] judging you doing anything for money.

[01:25:10] Of course should do who would do anything for money,

[01:25:13] anything,

[01:25:13] including wiggle those little fingers right in your butthole.

[01:25:16] There you go.

[01:25:16] Uh,

[01:25:19] and the search for Phil's ass in the search for Phil's ass.

[01:25:24] It's there somewhere.

[01:25:25] Uh,

[01:25:26] it's not,

[01:25:27] I'm,

[01:25:27] I mean,

[01:25:28] I've got,

[01:25:28] I've got to do a lifetime of squats just to get a little bit,

[01:25:32] uh,

[01:25:33] of course,

[01:25:33] ladies and gentlemen,

[01:25:34] if you'd like us to break up with your boyfriend,

[01:25:35] girlfriend,

[01:25:36] significant other pet,

[01:25:37] schoolyard bully,

[01:25:38] annoying neighbor,

[01:25:38] or just tell us how much you enjoy us,

[01:25:40] hate us,

[01:25:40] or wish the internet would consume us completely and spit us out at the feet of

[01:25:44] every guest that was on the show here today,

[01:25:48] especially Malort.

[01:25:51] Jepsen,

[01:25:52] Jepsen himself,

[01:25:53] the proprietor of Malort.

[01:25:55] I'll be honest,

[01:25:56] man.

[01:25:56] You can send us an email.

[01:25:57] I missed Matt made me cry a little bit.

[01:25:59] It was so nice.

[01:26:00] Oh my God.

[01:26:01] He did.

[01:26:01] Okay.

[01:26:02] I mean,

[01:26:03] between Matt and Ming,

[01:26:04] you know,

[01:26:04] those arguably two guys who are massive in the podcast world and,

[01:26:09] and inspirations.

[01:26:10] Yeah.

[01:26:11] And just the way that they talked about us made me feel like 200 episodes and

[01:26:17] we're doing the right thing.

[01:26:18] Like we almost felt legitimate.

[01:26:21] You know what I mean?

[01:26:21] Yeah.

[01:26:21] Like it almost feels like we're actually good at what we do.

[01:26:25] It's almost like we are.

[01:26:26] Yeah.

[01:26:27] Yeah.

[01:26:28] It's almost,

[01:26:28] it almost felt like we should get paid for this.

[01:26:31] Right.

[01:26:31] I wish,

[01:26:31] I wish we got paid for this.

[01:26:33] If,

[01:26:33] if we,

[01:26:34] if we could get paid to do this and I could just podcast and create content for

[01:26:39] the rest,

[01:26:39] for the rest of my life,

[01:26:40] that'd be great.

[01:26:40] Yeah.

[01:26:41] We would be doing what every 20 year old kid wishes they were.

[01:26:44] And we're like in our forties,

[01:26:45] except for one person on this panel.

[01:26:48] I am.

[01:26:48] I'm the 21 year old.

[01:26:49] We should have asked Dave while he was drunk on the wild Turkey.

[01:26:53] Damn it.

[01:26:54] Yeah.

[01:26:55] You going to pay us from now on?

[01:26:57] There we go.

[01:26:57] All right.

[01:26:58] And it's nerding at AOL.com and we will read it live on the show.

[01:27:02] We did it everybody.

[01:27:03] 200,

[01:27:04] 200 episodes guys.

[01:27:06] That's amazing.

[01:27:07] Everybody.

[01:27:07] Thanks.

[01:27:08] Thanks.

[01:27:08] And keep nerding together.

[01:27:10] Together.

[01:27:11] That's it.

[01:27:12] Together.

[01:27:13] It's just my line.

[01:27:13] Just my line.

[01:27:14] Exactly.

[01:27:14] All you only want is yours.

[01:27:16] Okay.

[01:27:16] Thanks.

[01:27:16] Keep nerding together.

[01:27:18] It says together in the line,

[01:27:19] but it's only my line.

[01:27:20] Don't stop.

[01:27:21] Oh,

[01:27:21] okay.

[01:27:22] Okay.

[01:27:22] For the 200th time,

[01:27:23] it's time for the dance party.

[01:27:25] Let's do this.

[01:28:17] This was a production of the distance nerding podcast and time for tacos media.
