[00:04:49] Guys, it's time for straight from Jay Jonah, my boy Jay Jonah Jameson over here, getting us ready for all of the fun stuff. So let's jump into the first story here. Sorry, I got to take that off the screen. The Vision never dies. Guys, Vision Quest will finally continue the story of Vision who we last saw at the end of WandaVision. And we anticipate the show will lead into Avengers Doomsday and Secret Wars as it premieres

[00:05:19] just two months before Doomsday. The showrunner Terry Matalis has a slightly different take on what this story means and where it might go. So, guys, I got to ask everybody in the chat, but I got to ask you guys here, too. Are you excited for Vision Quest before we move on to the other stuff? Yeah. No, I'm really looking forward to it. I think it will be interesting to conclude this trilogy and kind of interesting where like every series has kind of been its own genre.

[00:05:48] And this one seems very, very sci-fi, very kind of trippy. So, I'm really curious to see what's going to be. I'm excited. What the crazy thing is with this, though, and we're going to get into that here in a second, is they may think that it might not end here. So, in a recent interview, Matalis was asked if he was told to create a story that completed the Wanda Agatha trilogy. And he revealed this wasn't his initial brief. So, he explained it this way. No, not really.

[00:06:17] I would say, if anything, it's definitely more of a sequel to WandaVision in a lot of ways, but it really exists on its own. It's more of the Vision story just because we're going to dig into so much of who he is in ways that the films in WandaVision couldn't. So, including some deeper parts of his origin that may go back even further than what we believed. So, it's very much its own entity, but it does obviously touch upon what has come before

[00:06:46] this guy. Matalis went on to say that he doesn't think this needs to be the end of the story for Vision either. He also clarified that Wanda Maximoff will not be appearing in Vision Quest. Vision Quest arrives on Disney Plus on October 14th. So, thoughts. Do you guys think that we should have more Vision? Do you think that it should end here? What are you guys' ultimate thoughts on all of this? I'm also going to put it in the chat and get everybody's thoughts on this. Yeah. May I?

[00:07:16] Go. Go. Okay. So, I'm very excited and I loved the movie back in the 80s, but I'm very excited about the TV show. And first of all, we all know MCU people are liars. They're all... Do not believe them. Wanda will probably show up. Wanda will probably show up. Uh... But, I will say that the...

[00:07:47] Of the TV that Marvel has done, they've done a lot of really good shows. But the ones that I keep coming back to are WandaVision and Agatha all along. So, it has a lot to, like, stand up to or, you know... It's a hard road to follow. So, yes, I see why they would say, well, it's really kind of like a continuation.

[00:08:13] I feel like what WandaVision and Agatha all along and probably Vision Quest are doing is they're more spinoffs than they are, like, continuations of the story. But they continue to move the story along. So, it's like a weird hybrid of, you know, sequels and spinoffs. So, sequel-offs? I don't know. I haven't come up with that. I just came up with this off the fly. I feel like what's going on with this...

[00:08:42] I feel like this is just like what they initially did with the MCU, but they're doing it on the magic end. So, like, this is building up a much bigger story to tell within the magical, like, kind of slice of the MCU. You know what I mean? Yeah. No, I think that's... Yeah. I mean, I don't really have anything other to say than what you guys have said. Yeah, I really enjoyed, loved WandaVision, really loved Agatha.

[00:09:09] And so I'm interested to see where it ends or if it does. If aliens appear in this one, we will have had the big three, according to Falcon and Winter Soldier. Yeah, that's right. Androids, aliens... And wizards. And sorcerers. And wizards. And sorcerers. He says wizards specifically. And sorcerers are just wizards without a hat. There you go. So... I mean, technically, sorcerers... I'm... I don't even get into it.

I think just based on the way he played his character in Gen V, he was the younger brother that like saw things and was, you know, super crazy and he was the OP kid. Um... I'm...

[00:10:31] He was the boys version of Legion. He kind of was. The only thing is, is that I mean he had multiple person... No, he didn't really have multiple personality disorder. He... He just... He was very... Angry. He was schizophrenic, wasn't he? Yeah. That's... But like this... The... The... The... The... The... The...

[00:11:31] for x-men uh so i need your guys's thoughts are you excited to see the x-men in the mcu more so than we've already seen because we've already gotten a couple of character introductions and we've got people who have been announced but like like kind of what are we expecting to see with the x-men in the mcu no i'm really interested to to see what they're doing because they're kind of i mean they're they're basically doing a first class again and so i'm interested to see what

[00:11:59] we're doing with with those characters i mean first class i guess i guess woges there so it's not we're messing with it a little bit but um i'm i'm curious i'm really curious to see what they do with it i think it'll be good i'm just interested to see where we go i mean we're obviously going mr sinister which is obvious that's something we've we have not done before we didn't do it the fox x-men so we're doing it now and that's always kind of fun and campy and so i'm hoping it's a little bit

[00:12:24] a little bit sillier but not you know too not too over the top but you know we it doesn't take itself as seriously as i think a lot of the fox ones did so yeah i'm really excited though yeah yeah now jen what are your thoughts on x-men i i know you have thoughts on this so um i thought it was an interesting introduction to gene gray in spider-man brand new day i i i think

[00:12:52] that is setting the tone for what the mutants in the mcu are going to be like it's not going to be the really bright costumes for the first uh class of of x-men to take should use word uh and they're going very jimmy with it which i appreciate german i think it's a german actually i like him

[00:13:21] for angel because of what he did on the boys because of what apocalypse will do to warren he can play torture gonna need that yes and and that is what happens to warren i mean he gets to the point i mean he he he joins a cult because basically that's what apocalypse is he's a cult leader

[00:13:49] that's a mutant yeah yeah no that's yeah so and i would love if they did it that way where it's apocalypse is a cult leader and he attracts the mutants and and that's how and he just changes them because that's what you do when you're in a cult i would love something like that i want it to be grounded and if we and we've got jake who did thunderbolts and that was so odd and beautiful

[00:14:18] and wonderful it makes me have hope for the x-men and that we're not gonna fucking do a dark phoenix saga in the first three movies it's not no yeah not again not no i mean it's 100 we're going the route of apocalypse we know this because i mean if they're bringing in mr sinister at the very

[00:14:41] beginning mr sinister does not get like the real kind of accelerated you know or the acceleration in his mutate experiments until he meets apocalypse so i mean like having apocalypse be a part of this or having mr sinister be a part of this is kind of like you know they're leading into this plus knowing that we have uh warren worthington we have all the original first class characters uh you know

[00:15:08] as of right now beast is the only character that hasn't been uh announced but they said that they are looking for beast so we know that beast is going to be in this we know that we've gotten the uh an older version of beast um that is going to show up uh in this that's already kind of been you know running around being a scientist like he is so i'm i'm i'm actually excited for all of this i'm excited for what they're gonna do uh definitely don't want it to be a you know go right into a

[00:15:36] first class movie but i do want first class characters to be around yeah well i mean and think about it the last two people that have played beast live action have become a call-in psychiatrist and the other one became a multi uh conglomerate ceo that has world domination

[00:15:59] and uh a real big hate for superman so yeah i hope they get a good beast what we're saying is i think the call-in psychologist before he became the beast though you have we're moving on all right so let's go ahead and move on here guys we've lingered a little bit too much uh where and and then and then my problem is is i lost what page i was on all right

[00:16:27] did they make him an offer he can't refuse uh you got to do him over did they make him an offer that he can't refuse because you got to do like that gruff pacino you know a new rumor claims that al pacino is in serious talks to join the mcu according to scooper my time to shine h uh a recent post on x claims that pacino may be involved in serious negotiation again with feige to appear in the

[00:16:53] mcu marvel and those representing pacino have not confirmed this rumor but do you guys think that uh pacino is going to show up in the mcu at some point chino's a tease let's move on yeah it could happen hold on i'm putting it in the chat because i definitely want to know what the chat thinks about this uh so we are starting that poll here who would he even play so that's exactly where i was going to go back in 2014 after guardians of the galaxy came out academy award winner al

[00:17:22] pacino reportedly met with marvel president kevin feige about an undisclosed role in the mcu but it never came to fruition so knowing uh jen who do you who would you like to see al pacino play in the marvel universe but generally in the chat guys let us know who you think that he should play god i don't even know somebody from near oh mastermind oh mastermind i have an idea of who i think he should play but i'm gonna wait for you guys for what you guys think what do you think she

[00:18:21] character but i think pacino fits it better and i think he would play it really well uh william striker oh that's a good idea i think al pacino okay yeah i i i feel like he should play somebody yeah yeah yeah because the the the rumor was is that they were going to bring in william striker as a colonel uh young still in the military uh but still trying to bring everything over i i i feel

[00:18:51] like him as a general a former general and as the director and them calling him director striker would make a lot more sense because then he can you have him deep in the weapon x program you know what i mean yeah he might also want all the like senator kelly oh al pacino senator kelly might be fun yeah i think that would be really i mean i think that something like that might be better and then

[00:19:19] he's not having to do as as much of the you know get in front of a green screen and maybe wear certain things so i think that maybe like that kind of thing and senator kelly is is a major thorn in their side especially when they first come out as the x-men i also feel like so i'm wondering it yeah i was gonna

[00:19:46] say i also feel like pacino would he plays slime ball really well so i mean if he's gonna be playing with um uh senator kelly senator kelly is the biggest slime ball he is he is the definition of terrible politician i'm just gonna say what what i need for your vote uh he's also very very like just shittily racist uh as far as like against mutants um and i think al pacino is so so basically

[00:20:14] what we're saying with all of this is we want al pacino to play a racist i i want al pacino to play al pacino but you know talking about how much he hates mutants oh hey i hate these mutants let's face it he was he was in the merchant of venice so he's already played a racist there you go oh hey hey i hate these i i hate these mutants these mutants they get in my way i hate them

[00:21:06] right uh all right let's go ahead and move on this this rumor seems like a bit of a of a stretch there's there's a new rumor making the rounds that claims to reveal an intriguing reed richard storyline in secret wars according to the industry insider james mack avengers secret wars will indeed have a reed variant the scooper made the claim in response to a fan asking who will play the marker

[00:21:34] assuming the person meant the maker max suggests that the popular reed variant will make his debut in the upcoming movie uh so guys do you think the maker will appear in secret wars what do you think jen you're you're one of my comic nerds over around here i think yes i want the council of reeds yes i want a slow burn on the dark phoenix saga but i demand the council of reeds now the thing is is

[00:22:04] that we already have variants of reed richards which means it makes sense to do the council of reeds yeah yeah absolutely yeah then we get um asian john krasinski and john krasinski back i would love for them to do that to do like that version of john krasinski because he would totally do

[00:22:28] that yeah oh yeah uh ladies and gentlemen the maker also known as ultimate reed richards is ultimate marvel's uh earth 1610 uh their version of mr fantastic in marvel comics he starts out as a younger and modernized version of reed who later turns into a super villain maker into the super villain maker this version of reed plays a notable role in the comic's secret war storyline

[00:22:53] so it would make sense for fans to assume he will appear but it's also not guaranteed secret wars will be released on december 17th 2027 so we're a year away from that yeah wait i have one other thing to say it would be great if they got so the reed richards that they've had in past like ian griffin

[00:23:19] and like all the different ones it'd be great if they got them but i think they should get stephen colbert to play one of the reed the variant reed richards because he played an homage in the venture brothers and then bill hater took over so then we can get bill hater and they all have a similar vibe that would be absolutely make it fucking happen okay i'm okay

[00:25:10] case the people versus gorilla grad follows a super intelligent ape who we have yet to meet in this version uh who is convicted of murdering his father the king of gorilla city uh in the true crime docu-series the daily planet's jimmy olsen reopens the case investigating whether gorilla

[00:25:33] grad was wrongly convicted in one of metropolis's most famous murder trials is gorilla grad innocent say it ain't so god say it ain't so okay what do you guys think yeah i honestly don't i think this is an amazing premise i should do do you know who gorilla grad is i know who gorilla grad is yeah

[00:26:01] i i love this concept why i think what i like about it most is the idea of that they're doing it mockumentary style that you know you kind of have this almost running joke of them doing a uh uh like like the office style thing but with gorilla grad and uh i don't know if you guys have seen the the set leaks on it it's hilarious there's somebody who is walking around literally in a gorilla costume

[00:26:32] right the thing is is that i from from what i've heard they said that that it's literally there as a reference so that people can do that they're going to cg and uh grod into this right but i i love that or now they are yeah i love that right now they are they are you know doing this this person in a gorilla costume and i think that's also because that's probably the actor who's who's doing the voice in there just so that way you can get the nuances of the character and everything

[00:26:59] like that i think that's a genius fucking idea uh especially if you're gonna do it like a mockumentary style this is this is amazing it could be this is spinal tap i kind of feel like we should just keep the gorilla suit just like just don't cgi just keep them just keep the gorilla if anything do it deadpool style and like you have him in the gorilla suit but they like cg the facial movements and things like that but like yeah oh my god that's actually kind of a good idea is like

[00:27:26] having like a gorilla costume suit but then you just have like a cg face so then that way it doesn't look like a costume that's good i think what would be the best thing is that they have like they do like the seven potters remember when they had everybody do the polyjuice potion and they all became harry potter i've been watching a lot of harry potter stuff to get ready for the show so i'm gonna probably have a lot of harry potter references i'm sorry uh but they have somebody

[00:28:49] anyway uh who are performing on the steps of campus it's not exactly what most fans were expecting but it does look like fun i think their idea of fun and my idea of fun no date yet on when the people versus gorilla grod will stomp on to hbo max we'll keep you posted we know you'll know but see i'm more excited for this because they are doing supposedly there is supposed to be like they're showing like

[00:29:18] grod's college years which means that grod exists in this universe i hope you know those old like 1920s and 30s like movies where they had like the the jocks and they wore like the big fur coats the football players and it was like cheerleaders and stuff cheerleaders that's what i want grod to be

[00:29:43] either he's part of the like old school football team or he's a cheerleader and he's like that you know cheer captain i'm the cheer captain and he's got like the but he doesn't have to wear the fur coat but he's got the hat and he's like you know that there's a picture of him with the letterman on so i mean like there's got to be that it's got to be something like that so oh god i'm i'm excited for we have to move on but i'm so so excited we will be talking about this all night so

[00:31:10] develop new series for the studio while nothing batman related has officially announced as part of the agreement it certainly makes another trip to robert patton since gotham feel more likely so do you guys want another series set in the reese verse reeves verse not reese yeah not

[00:31:30] witherspoon witherspoon i absolutely do i i'm i'm after penguin and how good that is i want i like these kind of gritty stories that they tell uh i i want more of these kind of stories uh supposedly they're going to do an ivy show uh that didn't end up happening but uh you know something along those lines would be great to me yeah more kind of grounded genre kind of series so just like an off the top

[00:31:59] like off the cuff question sorry probably going to make the show longer but do you want it to continue with the villains or do you think like they've tried the gcpd with gotham and then that wound up just being another young that was like a young batman show so i mean what other things can

[00:32:18] they like i i like the idea the mob i i like the idea of doing tv shows that establish uh mainstay characters so if you're gonna like right now penguin has been introduced which also introduces the mob side right like you can start introducing uh like you can do an entire show on hugo strange and then

[00:32:43] that gives us arkham and you can kind of see like you know arkham and that brings in so many different characters you can introduce some some characters but then also you know um who what was his name aaron uh the dude who's missing the hand the uh the arkham guy that he's like uh uh oh uh i remember his first name is aaron but i mean like uh you know like he's a big part of of arkham

[00:33:09] asylum right again hugo strange was that was the director uh you can get into uh a scarecrow uh that way like you start getting into like the fear side so i i like the idea of if you're gonna do a show do a show where it introduces different aspects of gotham that kind of key into why gotham becomes what it is it's really popular right now so you could actually make it something like that where these

[00:33:35] villains come in and they get psychoanalyzed and stuff and then we see these characters as like you know scarecrow's a doctor and hugo strange is there and stuff and so we kind of slowly see them through the season descend into the madness you can get harley quinn as a psychiatrist right like again yeah you know like dr harleen quinzo you have dr hugo strange you have uh dr uh

[00:34:00] jonathan crane like all these doctors who become villains later on uh you know it which is kind of crazy like these are there's a lot of doctors that batman ends up fighting uh but i mean like you know i i like the idea of uh you know even doing like professor pig being somebody who is a psychopath that uh you know you psychoanalyze you can do victor's ass with things like that and kind of do

[00:34:24] these real world kind of like psycho villains uh you know uh you don't necessarily have to do the crazy you know meta uh meta characters they're already doing that with clayface so i mean like you can do right where you kind of like focus on a lot of like the the the more kind of reality-based characters and and why they're so sinister yeah right no i mean i love that idea so i i just wondered i wondered

[00:34:52] if you guys had that so uh anyway the batman earned seven hundred and seventy two point three million dollars worldwide and received strong reviews giving warner brothers plenty of reason to keep exploring the world reeves created that expansion eventually gave us the penguin awesome hbo limited series that we

[00:35:14] talked about um which just like killed me i died in 2024 september of 2024 um they keep saying that colin farrell was in that show i didn't see him at all yeah yeah no i didn't either wait colin farrell was in that show apparently they say colin farrell was in that show i didn't see him at all did he play the the brother of uh what's her name one of the uh the dude that the penguin kills it then like the

[00:35:43] episode yeah the son of the mobster he might have that might have been him that's got to be him yeah oh well batman part two will grappling hook into theaters on february 18th 2028 thank you for the birthday present in 2028 what are you gonna get me next year you don't know so i'm not gonna i'm not gonna linger too much on this but again uh this is more breaking news the stuff that came out today

[00:36:11] there were some set leaks off of uh the batman 2 uh and we saw an image of kind of like a protest that was happening and someone holding up a sign that was more of like a you know it was like a conspiracy theorist sign kind of thing but it was talking about the court of owls um which is establishing that the court of owls exists within this universe there are people who are theorizing

[00:36:37] and doing conspiracy theories about like oh uh you know the court of owls is real and things like that and it's like you know you have these people who are trying to you know be the conspiracy theory theory kind of people but the court of owls is an actual organization uh so what do you guys think of the potential of the court of owls actually showing up within this version of batman i think just just really really quick um i think it's cool i think it'd be great but i think it's very very

[00:38:01] the main villain uh right now yeah the rumor that i thought that i created is starting to get big on the internet right now that people are thinking that uh it's gonna be the phantasm that would be great which would be yeah there's no reason that you can't have the phantasm and harvey dent yeah they're right now they're saying that scar joe a lot of people believe based on some of the the the filming that's been done that scar joe might be the phantasm and i'm like oh that'd be so amazing

[00:38:30] yeah that'd be that'd be great i um but i will say that i think they may be the underlying villain uh kind of like raz was i still think hush and yeah but i think maybe hush is all they might make hush one of their operatives yeah like he'd be a town oh my god hush as a talon would be amazing

[00:38:53] yeah so like he might or he might be in like talon is there and he might be his keeper or something yeah like he's directing him because hush is more of a psychological he's that you know i'm gonna beat you 10 moves because i'm better at you than at chess than you and talon is kind of his weapon right and

[00:42:54] with uh with archie and and everything like that where you know they tried to make it way too serious and way too realistic with like with rivendell uh not or riverdale right riverdale um not that riverdale is a bad show but i mean like the whole thing is i don't want them to do like scooby doo and scooby is just a dog and he doesn't talk and he doesn't do the signature scooby doo it's just

[00:43:21] more like oh yeah hey the dog is sniffing he gave us a clue and good boy scooby and you know dogs just sitting there like like panting like no i like they i i would rather them do something like uh like almost like the air bud movies where you have a dog but then it talks still i mean yeah yeah i think internal dialogue and that shaggy knows what he's saying because he's high

[00:45:38] is officially in development at netflix bringing blizzard's brutal grimdark fantasy universe to television uh so yeah i'm just gonna go through this quickly so the president announced project on stage um and we don't really have much beyond the fact that it exists there's no release date or trailer or cast or creative team or first look image or anything um but again we know it's going to be a series we know it's going to be animated we know it's going to be set in the universe of

[00:46:03] diablo so question for the audience and for you guys uh do you like diablo um like the universe what do you think of this announcement i'm gonna let you guys want me to go first yeah because i've got a few things to say but i want to keep it as brief as possible so yeah okay so again i ask do you swipe left or right left or right i have not been on dating app in years so i have no idea

[00:46:58] because it's pretty simple generally it's very much just go go hit things go hit some demons um but it does have a really interesting lore um and i'm curious yeah so yeah i think it's great glad we're doing it hope it's good yeah i want to see a demon with horns like that i'll watch legend with the legend tim curry there we go there is a lot a lot of story in diablo um there's a lot of lore

[00:47:26] there's a lot of it if you like dnd you'll like diablo diablo is very much uh in kind of like the same universe it's very fun yeah it's it's cut the like the jib is cut from the same cloth right like it's it is it is very much something that uh you know it's it's very well done and them doing a show it's a lot of the fans of diablo have been you know more along the lines of how come it took this long

[00:47:54] right um yeah the things that i wanted to mention because i was going to make a reaction video to it but it's a little late now too so of this i'm going to mention this on the show a lot a lot of stuff happened at blizzcon this this weekend diablo got announced uh but then they also announced diablo 5 which is coming out in 2029 which is like super far away uh they announced um they redid

[00:48:22] warcraft 3 reforged and added a whole new storyline to it and fixed all the problems that we all hated with that version of the game when it came out in 2019 so it took them fucking seven years to fix this game uh but they did and it looks actually pretty great and it's out now uh so not shilling for for blizzard but hey go pick up the game uh also if you do want to sponsor us yeah i know right

[00:48:47] um so so there's that right there uh they also announced um for the war to warcraft forever comes out at the end of this year which is another big deal uh looks actually looks pretty fun the thing that i got really excited for was uh they dropped a cinematic trailer for a game that we have been

[00:49:09] waiting for since 2015 2013 2013 2013 not coder coders another one that's not blizzard um they are finally putting out a first person shooter set in starcraft oh yeah now originally they were developing starcraft ghost which was a first person shooter where you get to play as a ghost uh and that whole thing just fizzled out and died this one you're playing a marine in the dominion

[00:49:36] uh and the idea on she's already swiping out uh the idea on this one is uh it takes place 12 years after the event uh events of starcraft 2 uh kerrigan is still alive so you're gonna fight kerrigan in this as a first person shooter um the trailer looks amazing and makes me want a fucking movie now because there's a scene where there's a lot of scenes in this where they're like training to be

[00:50:03] marines the guy thinks that he's gonna be a badass he's in this armor and he's like oh man this is gonna be great walks out of the transport and immediately sees an overlord and the dude like pisses his pants right if you don't know starcraft if you don't know the games this is all going over your head right now but overlords are these giant massive floating bug monsters that essentially are like troop carriers uh and then the hydralis comes out of the ground and essentially by the end of

[00:50:33] this trailer this dude like is literally like human melted inside of his suit and it's somebody's cleaning the blood and the gore out of the suit and the idea is that you you know they they they grind marines out of all of this uh the thing that blew everybody out that um you know i have somebody who was at the show who said yeah it took all the air out of the room uh the announcement date

[00:50:59] the date for the game came out 2030 oh my we've got to wait four years for this game and it almost upset me that it that that it's taking this long for that the game to come out but i'm willing to wait for it especially if it means that they are going to take their time and it's going to be a worthwhile game uh if you have not seen the trailer for starcraft uh starcraft dominion

[00:57:37] that i regret not seeing in theaters there's a few movies i regret not seeing in imax uh this would have been one of those movies i would have highly regretted not gone going to see an imax there there are certain things that are just meant to be on a very very large screen and it's saddle sequences there are moments uh because of the hats because of the hats no actually the moments uh some of some of the moments in there like so when when he deals with the cyclops uh the uh the sirens when he when

[00:58:06] he goes by the sirens and things like that uh when he fights i forget the name of the monster that's in the cliffs but when he fights the monster in the cliffs uh all of that car carbidus uh charybdis charybdis yeah yeah but that that well that's one of them because there's the two one's the sea and the other's a mountain right and and he fights he a whirlpool yeah because he he bypasses the whirlpool in order to fight the monster in the cliffs uh because he knows that's

[00:58:36] his only way home uh spoilers for a book that's been out for thousands of years again yeah also jacson just did their version of the odyssey last season yeah so yeah no it has been out for three thousand years you have had time you have had time to read the book and while you're at it go read the iliad time yes go read the iliad i'm currently going through the iliad that's really good go read the iliad too yeah i i've read i've read them a couple of times in the three thousand
